Dear mr Simon
after I submitted my second daughter form ds260 I found I had made a mistake in the question about who helped you fill out this application ,I was supposed to write grandfather as the relationship to her but by mistake I wrot granddaughter, do i have to unlock my DS260 again.
Thank u
July 19, 2018 at 03:09
No, it doesn’t matter.
July 19, 2018 at 03:33
Thank u very much

Hello Britsimon…
We are one of the unlucky OC members who had a case number between 1450-1500. So being gutted is a bit of an understatement. I think we were hopefully it’d cut at 1500 in this final month, but it wasn’t to be.
Anyway, my question is more to do with our submitted DS-260. I submitted it a couple of months back in the hope we might get to our number. However, this is not the case.
Can one write to the KCC and get them to unlock it as it’ll never even be looked at by the KCC?
I think this is more due to the fact we will hope to find alternative LEGAL ways to enter the USA and would eventually like to immigrate there. In all your dealings with the myriad of questions you are asked, does an already submitted DS 260 hinder future visa applications (which are not DV ones)? I often see you respond ‘I only answer DV questions’ so I’m not 100% sure if you can answer this one.
Thanks for your time over this past trying year. This blog has been a godsend and one I checked regularly.
Take care, Osmosis
July 19, 2018 at 05:17
You can’t unsubmit the DS260. Unlocking it doesn’ mean you didn’t submit it – and yes it would have been processed by KCC.
Now – will it affect you. For future *non* immigrant visas, it could be a factor that says you want to emigrate – you have declared “immigrant intent”. But it’s not a slam dunk for a refusal – just a small factor. So – it’s not such a big deal.

Dear Mr. Simon,
Thanks for your help that we moved to the next step preparing to go to US.
SIR I tried to change our sponsor address prior to moving to US .my first address was to Maryland
But now we are planning to move to Kansas. When I tried to fill in USCIS change address it says:-
Is this change of address for an application or petition currently in progress? Yes or No. 1.SIR which one we have to choose(YES or NO) as we are still in our country may be we will leave after a month. Or is there any address in USCIS web site to change the address ?
2. Can we notify our new sponsor at POE?
Mr.Simon thanks in advance for your unforgettable help
July 19, 2018 at 14:38
Wait until the POE

Good morning Brit.
My Surname is N, other names BC. In my passport, all my names NBC appear in the Surnames field thus what is in the Given Names field is FNU.
1). How should my daughter fill father’s names field in her ds-260? All my names NBC in the surnames field (as in my passport) and select ‘Do not know’ for the other names field or N in the surnames field and BC in the other names field?
2). The same question as in 1. goes for my wife- how should she fill my names?
3) My daughter does not yet have a passport. Did I understand currently from other posts that she can for the moment fill either my passport number or my wife’s and then change when her passport is ready?
4. If I have a first degree and a masters degree from the same institution should I include the institution twice in my ds260 at the different levels or include it only once and then fill both courses in the Course of Study field; and Bachelors degree and Masters degree in the Degree or Diploma field?
5. I understand that I must take copies of birth certificates of all my children to the interview including those who are not immigrating with us. I have children who are above 21 so they will not be immigrating with us. My middle name is not included in the birth certificate of one and my surname is missing one letter in another’s birth certificate. Will this cause us any issues at the interview? If not, will it cause them any issues if they later want to follow to join when I petition for them?
Thanks
July 19, 2018 at 15:05
1 & 2 Match the passport, use the other names used field if needed.
3. Yes
4. Twice would be my choice.
5. It won’t affect the children over 21. I don’t know if it will cause problems later – but you should understand that is a VERY long process.

July 19, 2018 at 12:08
Hello Brit,
I applied for medical examination, but i answered with no on previous tobbaco use, but i used to smoke for some months.
Is this going to be a problem in your opinion?
July 19, 2018 at 15:11
I don’t know – I always tell the truth…
July 19, 2018 at 12:30
Dear Brit,
Today i had my interview and it went very will in the end the consular congratulated me and said “we will process your visa and you can collect it next week from windows 2”. as i reached the parking yard I received a call from embassy that i need to fill 5535 form. which was ready with me so i turn back and submitted the form 5535 right away. Now my case status is AP. My question is what went wrong? The consular approved my case but now its on AP.
Thank you in advance
July 19, 2018 at 15:12
Complete the DS5535 asap. You will be on AP for a while.
July 22, 2018 at 06:55
Dear Brit,
I have submitted the DS5535 the same day. how long it will take, the last date for visa issue is September 30. what will happen then
Thanx,
July 22, 2018 at 16:03
I don’t know how long it can take.
After September 30 your chance is gone.
July 19, 2018 at 13:52
Hi Brit
Thank u for ur responses. Pls sir, I want to ask u these questions on be have of my friend from Ghana who is dv 2019 winner. Pls sir, He has a mistake with his name on his high school cert. His name is Aminu Salu.
Last name: Aminu given name: Salu
But on his high school cert is Salu Aminu meaning his last name change to :Salu and given name: Aminu.
But the rest of his documents his name was correctly arranged as Aminu Salu. The documents includes:
a. Birth certificate which was issued in 2011
b. University certificate
c. Passport.
These 3 documents above match with his dv lottery name.
Questions.
1. Will the mistake on his high school cert cause a problem since it didn’t match with his dv lottery even though, the certificate has his picture and his date of birth which match with his birth cert on it.
2.will that mistake cause a higher risk of refusal.
3. Will his birth certificate help to lower the risk since it matches his dv lottery name because the birth cert was issued since 2011.
Thank u.
July 19, 2018 at 17:03
1. It’s Ghana – they are sensitive to mistakes on documents, so there is always risk. It is hard for me to give clear answers because Ghana is “unusual”.
2. See 1.
3. See 1.
July 19, 2018 at 23:25
In ghana or west africa .the name on the wassce result is alwys arranged as
Surname first name and other names with no coma….. Soo with a name like john mensah cudjoe …it will be written on the cert cudjoe john mensah…the embassy alrdy knows.soo aminu salu will be written as salu aminu
July 19, 2018 at 15:03
Hello Mr. Brit,
I am preparing for interview and I have not able to clarify any address yet in USA to declare in the interview. I work in an international USA company and I have opportunity to transfer some USA locations, but I dont want to start any transfer process before visa approval. It is a little bit risky to declare an uncertain situation to employer, in the worst scenerio (not approval of visa, AP, quota ending, etc) my good relationships can change negatively. Business Life !!
What do you suggest ? I can not bring any address to interview for now, what can I do ?
Thanks in advance
July 19, 2018 at 18:20
You need to give an address where you can receive the GC. It doesn’t need to be your actual address, but must be safe to receive the GC.
July 19, 2018 at 19:07
Thank you Mr. Brit,
Actually my question is about whether it is possible not to give an address during the interview ? Because If I get the visa, approximately 2 months later I will exactly clarify my actual / safe address and planning to declare it while entering to US airport.
But for the interview, I have no idea 🙂
July 19, 2018 at 19:13
One more question: If I must give an address in interview, can it be a company or plant adress ?
July 19, 2018 at 23:07
No. It needs to be a residential address (and someone you can trust)
July 19, 2018 at 23:06
You have to give an address. You can change it as late as the day you enter the USA.
July 19, 2018 at 15:42
Hello Mr. Brit,
thank you for helping people, we really appreciate it. My case number is 31”’ in Europe, so unfortunately, i have no any chances to be invited.
But my question is – is there any real opportunities to transfer interview from Europe for example to Asia or Africa and appoint interview there? For instance, if i have short term (1 month) course at language school and student visa in that country or maybe even work visa + job contract?
July 19, 2018 at 18:21
No – you would still be counted as EU.
July 19, 2018 at 15:45
Hi Simon
I have a question. My husband got DV 2019 selected from Nepal. Actually he traveled UK, Germany and Austria as a tourist visa for around a month. Do he need to get police record from these countries also?
July 19, 2018 at 18:21
For a month or two no. Please read the instructions.
July 19, 2018 at 15:54
Hi Birt
My CN is AF28xxxxxxx…is there any hope for interview in September.
July 19, 2018 at 18:21
Be patient.
July 19, 2018 at 16:07
I have another question also. I was rejected tourist visa for USA once about a year ago? Does it effect in our current Dv interview? Thank you in advance.
July 19, 2018 at 18:22
Probably not.
July 19, 2018 at 17:11
Hey brit. I want to ask a question please answer me
1.by what email address is my 2NL send for me;by initially filled DV application or by an email provided or submitted in DS260?
2.my email address is not accurately submitted so did they use to send for me by email address what i submitted in DS260?
July 19, 2018 at 18:45
1. DS260
2. That’s the same question as 1!
July 19, 2018 at 17:34
Hi Britsimon,
I am a Ghana studying in the uk and a 2018 dv winer, so I transferred my case to london. Fortunately for me I was able to complete my interview on the 19th of june and medicals on 28th of june. However visa medicals failed to send my medical result on time (thus it was submitted on the 19th of july)
And I unfortunately received the below email fromantic the embassy which I don’t understand, can you please help me and is there something I can do?
Email from embassy:
The Congressionally-mandated Diversity Immigrant Visa Program makes available up to 55,000 diversity visas (DV) each year, drawn from random selection among all entries, to persons who meet strict eligibility requirements from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States.
The Department of State in Washington informed U.S. consular sections worldwide to halt processing DV cases whose initial appointment was scheduled prior to July 2018 .
We regret at this moment we are unable to continue processing of your DV 2018 application, however in September 2018 please check the visa bulletin (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin.html) for information regarding DV visa number availability. Visa application and associated fees cannot be refunded. In September 2018 we will review all DV 2018 case files and return passports and original civil documents through the courier service.
Selectees for DV 2018 who did not receive a visa may enroll again for the DV 2020 program in the fall of 2018.
Thank you.
July 19, 2018 at 18:37
The problem is that CP cases are allocated a visa slot for the original month of the interview. You say you transferred your case, so I assume your case was originally supposed to be held at another embassy in an earlier month. So – once that month ended, your pre-allocated visa slot was lost, and you are now at the “back of the queue” behind all the cases being scheduled right now. What the embassy is saying, takes account of their anticipation that ALL the scheduled cases will be approved. They won’t be, and you may find the embassy is able to issue you a visa later (in late August or late September. There are no guarantees of course – all you can do is hope.
July 20, 2018 at 13:39
Paul, for my understanding, please confirm your interview was originally scheduled at another embassy. Whether it was that or the medical delay is really the same – I just wanted to confirm.
August 5, 2018 at 00:59
Hi Brit
sorry for the late reply, my case was transferred from Ghana to the UK after interview has been scheduled in Ghana.
August 5, 2018 at 05:35
OK right. Best of luck.

July 19, 2018 at 18:31
I don’t know what the outcome will be with such a case.
July 19, 2018 at 18:54
Hi Simon, I have about $23k is social security savings, which will be given to me once havr confirmed my leaving the country permanently, do you think this would help on fears of public charge for a family of four? I can take statements with to the interview…
July 19, 2018 at 23:05
Possibly – I don’t know for sure because I don’t know if they will see it as “certain” money.
July 19, 2018 at 19:23
Hi Simon,
My case is 2018AF22×××
I Completed my interview in 19th of June and medicals on 28th of june but received the email below from the embassy:

Hi
I am a green card holder but I have been out of the US for more than a year for medical and personal reasons. Is there any way to get my green card validity again? Thanks
July 19, 2018 at 23:22
You have to ask the embassy. The sooner the better.
July 19, 2018 at 21:15
Is’it truth that green cards for 2018 are finished?
July 19, 2018 at 23:22
No
July 19, 2018 at 21:50
Hi Brit
I received all my vaccination shot when I was a kid ( I have the records). Do I again need to take those shots again during my medicals please?
Respectfully
Cotteril
July 19, 2018 at 23:20
Maybe – it’s up to the doctor.
July 19, 2018 at 23:37
Dear Mr. Simon
I was selected on dv-2018. and today we received the appointment for the interview, however they are only as members of my family, my two youngest daughters and did not include my wife.
She was added and her DS260 was completed, we received the confirmation by mail from CEAC.
My application ds260 was initially created as divorced and then I got married so I included my wife.
I appreciate your help since I have an appointment scheduled for September 11
Thank you
July 19, 2018 at 23:46
The letter is sent based on the initial eDV entry. Once CEAC is updated you can confirm they are expecting 4 of you.
July 20, 2018 at 00:15
thanks mr simon
But I must wait for another appointment or I can attend the day of the interview with the letter sent to me with only 3 people
July 20, 2018 at 01:47
You keep the appointment you have been given.
July 20, 2018 at 01:22
Hi Simon
I hope you can say your opinion about my situation.
Our number 2018EU36xx, we had an interview in London 21st of December 2017. Yes, 210 day ago! After the interview officer said that our application is very dificult and put us throught AP. So ever since, with one a month update (via CEAC site) we are waiting for the result. I keep sending them emails every months but reply is non informative something please wait or we will let you know when we are ready and etc. Yesterday, I sent them another email asking to escalate our application because there are only 70 days left before and of the fiscal year. So they have replied me like this:
The Congressionally-mandated Diversity Immigrant Visa Program makes available up to 55,000 diversity visas (DV) each year, drawn from random selection among all entries, to persons who meet strict eligibility requirements from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States.
The Department of State in Washington informed U.S. consular sections worldwide to halt processing DV cases whose initial appointment was scheduled prior to July 2018 .

Regards,
Immigrant Visa Unit
U.S. Embassy London
So simon, what do you think about it?
Is it all over? Is there any chance for anything? Could it be a mistake?
July 20, 2018 at 01:45
I am aware of another case like that – although that one is an AF region case.
What has happened is this:
When your case was originally scheduled, a visa slot was allocated to each person on your application. However, that allocation was returned to KCC at the end of December since you could not use it. Once your case completed AP – the embassy would ask for a visa slot (or slots) to be re-allocated. Now – because visas are running out (between those already issued and new cases scheduled), the embassy have been instructed to tell people they cannot be guaranteed a visa. *IF* by some chance there are visas left over in August or September (because of case denials) they could allocate those visas to cases like yours, but the chance of that is low for EU region. So – it’s not “over” but you are certainly at risk.
July 20, 2018 at 01:58
Hi Simon, many thanks! Looks more clear now. So do you reckon they will continue do carry on with AP? Well AP is done now by embassy I believe anyway. Will our application have higher priority for free visas or not?
July 20, 2018 at 02:56
As you say, I think it is likely your AP is over. You will not have higher priority, others will be in the same position as you.
July 20, 2018 at 12:01
Hi Simon, is there any way to figure out whether AP has been completed or not? So, what is the best I can do right now? keep sending emails to visa section, try to meet consule or what? Thanks, Max
July 20, 2018 at 13:21
Just wait. That is all you can do.
July 20, 2018 at 02:14
Do you think the same situation could happen with this guy from Poland? He confirmed that this was supposed to be his first appointment, he didn’t reschedule anything. Embassy rescheduled this first time.
July 20, 2018 at 02:53
I think that is a misunderstanding, based on the directive sent out to embassies.
July 20, 2018 at 12:49
Hi Simon,
I am the one with case AF and have same issue with Max Wise.
I want to kindly findout again, though I have been emailed by the embassy that my case can’t be processed further, however, my status on the CEAC website show that my case is ready for interview, though I have been interviewed and completed my medicals.
What does the “ready” status seeks to imply?
And to Max Wise if you are reading this, what is your status saying now (you and I seems to have the same challenge)?
July 20, 2018 at 13:07
Hi Paul, my case is slightly different to your! I had interview 210 days ago 🙂 status is administrative processing
July 20, 2018 at 13:49
HI Max Wise,
Ohk, my too was AP and later changed to ready after mwdical report was submitted, though I have completed my interview and medicals.
I am confused ?.
July 20, 2018 at 13:27
READY signifies ready for interview (scheduled). Some embassies don’t update well. Having said that, if your AP completed (as I suspect) then it might have been updated from AP back to ready (sometimes happens before issued/refused). Either way – don’t focus on the status too much. It doesn’t “control” the process.
July 20, 2018 at 13:50
Ok thanks Brit
July 20, 2018 at 01:58
Hi again! You were right, I just had to wait 🙂
Anyway, few questions if you don’t mind.
My interview was scheduled for september 19th (it seems we are one of the last…). Anyway, does it mean that visas are technically reserved for us? I know you already answere yes but Is it possible that we can go to the interview and they can tell us there are no more visas available? (I know they can refuse it for diffrient reasons).
July 20, 2018 at 02:08
I am asking because according to charts, there are akready 16271 visas issued and 3500 ready cases (I know that not all of them will be approved, but considering that this ready cases do not include derivatives ect, it is still above eu quota). I am asking if they hit quota, let say at the begining of september, can they cancel the rest of the interview?
July 20, 2018 at 02:54
Scheduled cases are allocated a visa. So – as long as people get interviews arranged, they are normally OK. There has been a situation where a country had interviews cancelled, but it was the 7% limit.
Obviously, nothing is 100% certain.
July 20, 2018 at 02:56
Yes, patience is rewarded. I answered your question on another question.
July 20, 2018 at 06:10
hi britsimon thank you for your help specially to Africa region. i need your suggestion i was a Dv 2018 winner unfortunately i became refused because the original entry form birth date differ from the birth date certificate i was try to correct it in the form DS 260 but the consular did accept. is there any chance to appeal i Worried always i became hopless.
July 20, 2018 at 13:08
There is no formal appeal. There is nothing you can do.
July 20, 2018 at 06:45
Tamrat did you report this issue to kcc before your interview
July 20, 2018 at 07:12
We are a 4-member family from Iran. my mother and my 33 years old sister, won the 2019 diversity visa. considering that Iran is a banned country, I wanted to ask you,is it worth to do their vaccination and also translation of documents for an interview?
July 20, 2018 at 13:12
No. Unless a person has dual citizenship on a non banned country, there is no hope.
July 20, 2018 at 07:28
Hi Simon. Hope you are fine.
My question is about a point in DS260: “Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law?”. I clicked yes when submitting my form. But actually I have very few vaccinations since my childhood and I even don’t know how to document those I have. Can you please advise on that. If I could not get any info on that, but have all the vaccines during my medical checkup, will that be ok?
Regards,
Maleyka
July 20, 2018 at 13:14
Yes
July 23, 2018 at 08:18
Thank you for responding. So, medical checkup team will be able to define which vaccines I need and so, I can safely rely on them?
Regards,
Maleyka
July 20, 2018 at 07:54
Hi Mr Brit simon, Thanks for your endless help. Please if for example my primary occupation is food and beverage services, is it ok to choose student where they asked “in which occupation do u intend to work in the U.S”?? Assuming that the individual has plans of furthering her education when she gets to U.S!!
July 20, 2018 at 13:17
You can use your own judgement on that.

Yes, Mr. Simon
We have the confirmation of my wife who sent us in ceac at the time of completing the DS260 in November of 2017, and I have the appointment that they sent me yesterday for the interview but it is not the name of my wife, only that of my two daughters
Thank you

Hi brit.
Am eagerly waiting for my interview and will share the experience.
A quetion though:
a fellow dv selectee missed his interview due to medicals delay. He emailed the embassy and was told that they will schedule him as soon as they get the med reports.
Strange, today he has got another mail informing Him that an agent of the US departent of state has changed his status and he was given a link to reschedule.
Should he use the link or wait for the embassy to schedule for him.
Nairobie embassy.

If the email is genuine, he should use that.

Hi Mtr.Brit, I know the final date of fiscal year is at September 30, that mean all people who obtain a Visa should go before that date ?
July 20, 2018 at 13:07
The last day of the fiscal year is the last day visas can be issued but people who received visas have to enter before the date limit stamped in their passport on their temporary visa (usually 6 months after either their medical exam or visa issuance date) if you have your Visa issued, for example now, then you have 6 months from now to enter the US and so on. If medical exam + interview in August, then 6 months from then. Same goes for September cases, they will have to enter by Mars 2019 the latest. Again, always refer to the date stamped on your temporary visa.
July 20, 2018 at 13:28
“Go” – ?
Do you mean move to the USA? No – they can move later than that date.
July 20, 2018 at 13:00
hi Simon.
am the winner of dv 2018.
my question is during my medical the Dr told me he must take my X-ray. It takes two months.( since, 16/7/2018)
so am worried of my visa!
Do you think there will be risk for it?
please assist me openly!!!!!!
thanks.
July 20, 2018 at 13:31
Yes that will cause a risk. It will delay your case, and there may not be visas available when you are cleared.

Hello Brit.i am Li from Ethiopia,2019 winner 2019AF00006XXX .i am not being able to access the DS 260 online form it says the website is undergoing maintenance.is there any other way to get the form?
July 20, 2018 at 14:00
Wait.
July 20, 2018 at 14:20
Hi Brit,
Thanks for your advice earlier. My interview is scheduled for may 6(from Nepal). Initially while filling the ds-260 form, I wrote my mailing address as Louisiana where my sister lives. But since she is living under student visa, my uncle who lives in Virginia and has a citizenship is sponsoring me. Does the sponsor’s address and mailing address have to be same? Will it create trouble during my visa interview?
July 20, 2018 at 15:29
No preoblem. You can change the address for the GC delivery at the Port of Entry (when you arrive)

Hi, Mr Simon
I have received 2nl and have my interview in August, my appointment letter just have 3 person for interview but there are 4 of us. My son was added after the since he was born in October, 2018. Will the 2nl only capture the name on the inital entry?
Note: I had completed DS 260 for my son and have confirmation page but when i checked CEAC they have only 3 status saying READ.
will this be a problem? I have already put togeather all documents for my son to present at the interview.
July 20, 2018 at 15:14
*He was born October, 2017
July 20, 2018 at 15:31
Contact the embassy to make sure they understand 4 are coming.
July 20, 2018 at 15:52
Thanks.
July 20, 2018 at 15:44
Hi Dear Simon
First thank you for having me a chance to ask you a question. My question is:
1. I got my 2NL and my interview is on 4 August in Nairobi, Kenya but this date is in Saturday, and I have a dout since they work day is b/n Monday- Friday.
2. And in the instruction linked below they said, “You need to register your appointment online. Registering your appointment provides us with the information we need to return your passport to you after your interview”. So what does it mean can this concern us to register. https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/ADD-AddisAbaba.pdf
Thank you!

1. You can confirm with the embassy.
2. Check the embassy instructions to see if they want you to register.
July 20, 2018 at 16:19
Hi brit,
One more confusion, I want to live with my sister at Louisiana but my sponsor is from Virginia is it allowed or it is mandatory to live within the sponsor’s state? Am I allowed to buy plane tickets for Louisiana directly?
July 20, 2018 at 16:24
No one cares where you live. Just let USCIS know after you move.
July 20, 2018 at 18:12
Hi Simon,
Is there anyone to remember Afghanistan concerning the DV process in 2018?
If you know anything, please share with us.
Regards
July 20, 2018 at 18:58
All I know is that most Afghan cases have been left on AP. I have no idea whether they will clear that AP by the end of the year or not.
July 20, 2018 at 20:18
PS did you receive your 2NL today for August?
July 21, 2018 at 00:49
Hi Simon,
I just won the lottery as I received email from USAFIS that I been selected to apply for Diversity Immigrant Visa (DV) Program. USAFIS was responsible to apply on behalf of me for 10 years started 2013.
I don’t know exactly the day which USAFIS submits my application specially last year I didn’t receive any emails from them.
Last year I had my 1st child born on 16th of October 2017 and 15 days later on 29th October later the USA Embassy received my application submitted by USAFIS
My child was not included in the entry application (just me and my spouse were included) as I was busy in hospital and I totally forgot to contact USAFIS.
Any chances to correct this while I’m filling DS-260 and before interview or I will be disqualified.
July 21, 2018 at 20:48
The USAFIS is not an official site. You would be an idiot to sign up with them.
July 21, 2018 at 22:04
Hi BritSimon
Yes, but I checked the Lottery entry official website and I got confirmation number and all details ready in place with the date of receiving my application 29th October 2018, my only problem is my kid is not added to the entry application who born on 16th of same month, should it worth to proceed ?
July 21, 2018 at 22:16
And that’s why people who use that site must be idiots. Because no – you cannot proceed. You will be disqualified.
July 21, 2018 at 01:13
Hello Mr Simon
1. Can I do my medical and send it to DHL without the embassy instructing me
2. I was put on AP for the reason of proving my relationship by DNA test, the results was out in April but up to now no call or email.
When I send them email on 24th of June this is what they said:
Thank you for writing to the U.S. Visa Service Desk.
We understand that want to know if the DNA test result has been forwarded at the Embassy.
DNA results have been received and this case is under review. When the review process is complete, the Applicant will be contacted.
We hope this information is helpful to you.
Please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/T3G8NJC to share feedback on the services we provide.
Have a pleasant day!
July 21, 2018 at 20:50
1. Wait until they tell you.
2. You just have to wait for them. Realistically, there is a risk as some people are being told all the remaining visas are allocated.
July 21, 2018 at 01:34
Mr Brit
1. looking at my case do I still have a chance of getting my visa
2. Accra embassy have a lot of visa denial, in your openion do you think those on AP have upper hands since the denial visas can be re-used by those on AP
3.Assuming your AP is been clear today and some one visa is denied the same day can they give it to they one who has been clear from AP or still the need to request it from KCC
July 21, 2018 at 03:44
Hi again BritSimon – I would like to know how fees are to be paid prior to the Interview. I looked on FAQ but didn’t see the answer. Also checked the State Dept’s website – it tells u how much for each thing but doesn’t say in what manner u can pay the fees. Check, cash, credit card…what?
Appreciate a response when you have a minute. Thanks again! Nora
July 21, 2018 at 04:38
Fee 330$/person
July 21, 2018 at 12:24
Right – I know its $330 in person – but by what method – cash, check, credit card, ..what do they accept?
July 21, 2018 at 20:53
You pay at the embassy on the day of interview. The instructions are clear about that.
July 21, 2018 at 20:51
1. I have no idea.
2. Possibly.
3. I don’t know.
