Hi,
I have a little concern : I am living in the US but I am going through the CP process so doing interview in my home country (France). When I requested my french PCC I put my parent’s address to avoid any delay so I received it but it’s my parent’s address on it (I just saw it as I arrived in France today, other information being correct: name, DoB, etc.), does it matter?
Thanks

No

Awesome thanks !
August 26, 2018 at 08:57
good afternoon, dear Simon. I was born in Russia, but the interview will be in Poland, since I work here. my case is 2019EU278xx. in DV2018 on the case of 25775 did not reach. Did I understand correctly that before August 2019 I will not know my fate? Thanks and have a nice day.
August 26, 2018 at 15:29
July 2019 is when the final numbers are published.
August 26, 2018 at 09:40
Hello,
I submitted my ds260 lately in 25 of jully 2018. Case number is 2018eu12xxx. My case is still at NVC. Do l still have a chance to get interview? Thanks…
August 26, 2018 at 15:32
You would have been scheduled before now if it had been possible – so no -you left it too late.
August 26, 2018 at 13:03
Hi Brit, I am DV2018 and had my visa interview in Egypt last May.
1- can I travel to Dubai(or only USA) to activate my visa and come back to Egypt for two months before going to USA permanently?
2- if I should travel to USA only(not Dubai) to activate my visa, what should be the minimum time between flights(one flight going from Egypt to USA and the other flight from USA to Egypt)? to allow for time for airport checking and activation of visa.
Thank you for your excellent information,
August 26, 2018 at 15:34
1. You have to enter the USA. Then you can leave – read the FAQ about that.
2. 4 hours.
August 26, 2018 at 17:45
Thanks Brit for the information!
Do you also have any post of the process that I will go through in the USA airport? What they ask you, what forms you complete, etc
Thanks Brit again
August 26, 2018 at 19:05
It would be a pointless post. It’s a non event. You line up, they take your envelope, and perhaps spend a few minutes “processing” it, you become an LPR. That’s all.
August 26, 2018 at 13:59
hi brit
there is in my high school diploma a mistake in my name corrected it in the institution which deliver this diploma with a seal on it.will do this affect my interview?
August 26, 2018 at 15:35
Typically not.
August 26, 2018 at 16:59
Hi Brit,
I am trying to get my interview letter, but when I log into https://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ESC there is an error. I downloaded it about a month ago when I logged there first time, but how can I make sure there is no change in the interview date? Or for somebody who didn’t download it, how can they do it?
August 26, 2018 at 17:03
If the embassy had changed the date (rare) they would have let you know.
August 26, 2018 at 17:41
Hi Brit , please I’m from Ghana can I attach private wassce slip that haven’t receive the main certificate yet With the main senior High certificate to interview ?
NB: I will tag the result checker card to the slip if embassy want to check or inform Waec Ghana to send the embassy confirmation of the slip as its real..
Thanks .
August 26, 2018 at 19:04
If that is your only option – yes.
August 26, 2018 at 17:52
Hi Brit
I am Dv19 case number 52xxx presently I am pregnant and will due in December and my boyfriend and I are just engaged not yet married. Was just wondering how’s my case is going to look like? Will I leave my baby behind? Or is it possible we may go together
August 26, 2018 at 19:07
When you quote your number – quote with year and region. As your number is high, you won’t interview for almost a year. So – read the FAQ about adding the baby. To add your boyfriend, you will have to marry. Do all of that early in 2019.
August 26, 2018 at 18:26
hi
I was accepted in the random migration , I am born in Egypt and Yemeni nationality and resident in
Saudi Arabia .
I received interview visa letter for KCC , in the letter .Foreign State Chargeability : Saudi Arabia .
I went to embassy but disapproved my visa because Beneficiary was born in Egypt , but chose Saudi
Arabia as FSC .
In DS-260 I am quit sure that i have not mentioned FSC in Saudi Arabia .
Please what is your opinion ?
Regard
August 26, 2018 at 19:10
So – out of the 200 or so countries that the system could have randomly assigned to your FSC (if that’s what you believed), the system happened to pick Saudi Arabia – the place where you happen to reside. Doesn’t seem likely, does it.
Far more likely is that you chose SA when you entered, and then you completely ignored the fact that you have an AS region case number for nearly 18 months.
Soi – my opinion, the denial was correct, and final.
August 26, 2018 at 18:54
Hello Simon please my birth certificate is plastified and my interview is coming up in two days, is there a problem with it being plastified?
August 26, 2018 at 19:13
Not normally – although a small number of COs may have a problem with it.
August 26, 2018 at 20:01
Hi Brit!
Thank you for your help, we’re completing documents and translations. I have question regarding translations.
1) We got our interview location in Dublin. Our vaccination documents are in Polish so I guess we also have to translate those?
2) Also I’ve read somewhere that photocopies of documents should certified by notary. Is it true?
Thanks again for your help!
Have a good night!
Regards
Maciek & Ola
August 26, 2018 at 20:55
1. Ask the doctor.
2. No – because you are taking originals and copies of documents to the interview. The instructions cover this and the embassy may have specific instructions.
August 27, 2018 at 00:09
Hello dear sir Simon
I have a two things to ask.
(1) If a person is issued Diversity visa then in how much time that person cen get his or her green card.
(2) if a person is living in USA as asylum seeker can he or she apply for DV Lottery and if he or she apply will that effect his or her asylum case.
Please kindly guide me on this.
Thank you
August 27, 2018 at 00:48
1. A few weeks after the entry to the USA.
2. Yes, but be careful.
August 27, 2018 at 00:24
Greetings Brit, please will appreciate you assist with this question… am from AF region but claim wife chargebility which is AS Region.. since i will be havin interview in AS country (1) do i need to notorize my documents from my embassy in the AS region or i just go with the Original documents .. also (2) Will chargebilty hold my case to AP ?
August 27, 2018 at 00:50
1. Originals and copies – but prepare well as the embassy may not be used to seeing documents from your country.
2. Yes, it could cause delays.
I am guessing you are a principal winner charged to your wife’s region. In that case you should be aware that your wife also should prove education etc as you should both be treated as principal applicants (if the embassy handles the case correctly).
August 27, 2018 at 03:50
thanks for the info.. (1) How do you mean by (but prepare well as the embassy may not be used to seeing documents from your country) (2) what may be the factor for the delaying … meanwhile i am aware that my wife will also be treated as primary applicant … also to add .. i have visited united state once from AS region as tourist visit .. , will this assist ?
August 27, 2018 at 13:49
1. I mean what I said.
2. I don’t know.
No assist from the previous visit.
August 28, 2018 at 00:02
Hi Brit, please i want to know my chances because its going to be an interview for 4 family and that will cost roughly $3,000 for all process… i just want to know my chances rather than wasting my hard earned money,,, my wife part is perfect she gat everything that may be required shes a qualified nurse with a school cert nd diploma in nursing.. but my case like said ealier i am from AF region (Nigeria precisely) nd my country is no more eligible for dv lottery but due to claimin wife chargibilty i think i still have a chance tho. Please i need you to guide me and explain my chances
thank u
August 28, 2018 at 04:41
1. Be sure you have followed instructions throughout and have not lied.
2. Make sure your wife meets the requirements **for education**. Her nursing experience/diploma does not help.
August 28, 2018 at 04:55
thanks for putting me through, you said (followed instructions throughtout) ? how’s that? i dont understand what type of instructions you refering to and 2 my wife has a completed high school diploma degree and also midwifery certificate and shes currently a staff nurse.. please i want you to help me more
August 28, 2018 at 05:19
You need to start *thinking* about what I say rather than just following up with more questions. This is your case – take responsibility!
Did you follow instructions correctly and honestly on the eDV entry, then the DS260 and so on.
About qualifications – the qualifications need to meet the requirement in the country where she was educated and will interview.
August 28, 2018 at 05:28
Thank You.
August 28, 2018 at 14:28
Hit Brit, i am still confuse why u said i should start thinking? instead of following up questions.. the dv lottery allows individual applicant to apply base on there wife’s eligibilty and to my own understanding, while fillng the dv lottery form everything was correct as (1)country of birth (Nigeria)2 are you clamin country of birth as your eligibilty ( i choose no) then and choose my wife country which gives my case as AS Region … i just want you to clarify if theres going to be (1) delay or any form of disapproval from your experince.. and regarding to educational qualification am certain wit mine and my wife … but the issue is how is the CO going to confirm all document presented
August 28, 2018 at 15:50
The eligibility is a non issue. Please read the FAQ and the MANY pages of information I have written.
August 27, 2018 at 05:18
HI Brit
I have friend DV winner with case 2019AF00038***. He was filling his DS260 but after the maintenance period his DS-260 was closed and he was unable to access it. He wrote an email to Kcc and he was told to attend to Us consulate/ Embassy in person. He received Emails from KCC and US Embassy in Nairobi. They clearly state that his visit is not for visa interview. My friend is Busy at home and if he has to leave his country his chance of getting back is minimal.
This is not the traditional DV processing your advice is highly appreciable.
August 27, 2018 at 13:50
Others are being told to do the same thing.
August 27, 2018 at 05:19
Dear sir, greeting a lot
i am dv winner of 2018, my interview was in kdu on january and i was in AP. on june 2018, embassy called me informed me my case is clear and do medical again and submit passport. i am the principle applicant, i have husband and one son.embassy allowed me visa but two are still in AP. what will happen about my husband and son ? please advice me
August 27, 2018 at 13:51
I don’t know – ask the embassy.
August 27, 2018 at 08:08
Hi Brit,
1. If when registered for dv lottery / applied on https://www.dvlottery.state.gov/
used X e-mail and when submitted DS-260 used Y e-mail, which e-mail will
be used for notification by KCC regarding interview date
2. Will there be for sure a notification throughout the e-mail, or there are
chances of not getting an e-mail about interview date
thanks, best regards
August 27, 2018 at 13:54
1. Y most likely.
2. An email is sent.
August 27, 2018 at 11:00
Hi Sir,
After entering the United States and activating the visa, is there website to track the status of the GC and SSN? If they were send, delivered, processed, etc.
Regards,
Mikael
August 27, 2018 at 13:59
Yes, but people normally have their GC before their data is searchable in that website.
August 27, 2018 at 11:12
Dear Simon,
I waited for 3 weeks still I am unable to view the DS-260 because of the Below issue on the system
“The Case Number entered is currently unavailable Please try again later or contact the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) by email”
Shall I mail KCC to check on issue ?
Thanks for your Support!
August 27, 2018 at 13:59
Yes
August 27, 2018 at 14:15
I get the same message when i try to log in and view my DS-260. Could you please share what they will tell you from KCC?
August 27, 2018 at 14:34
Guys you need to contact KCC, I’m having same problem too, after I emailed KCC they instructed me to contact the US embassy in my country, therefore I recommend you to contact KCC as soon as possible.
August 27, 2018 at 15:41
Ngor, thank you for your recommendation, I will definitely contact them. Until they respond, do you mind sharing your experience (as I really start worrying about it all): what did they say about this issue in your embassy?

Nor & Lisa
Also I have the same problem. When I sign in DS 260 the case number you entered is not available.
How can I contact the embassy with e-mail or calling .
Please tell me the respond from yours. Share it please
August 29, 2018 at 14:44
I have the same problem dear Simon. When I try to sign in DS-260, the system responds that “the case number is currently unavailable”.
What i Have to do?? Am I expected to go the US embassy in my country? or email to KCC?? Please tell us your comments?? Thank you in Advance!
August 29, 2018 at 16:46
As I already replied – if you only wanted to check your DS260, there is no problem. If your case number is high anyway – then wait for the system to be fixed. If you cannot wait, then you can email KCC.
July 31, 2019 at 15:57
And what was the result after contacting the embassy? We’re you able to access the system again?
June 20, 2023 at 02:39
Since then have they make your Case number available

I had attended my Visa interview on august 9th 2018 pakistan embassy and I was given a 221g white slip. My passport and other documents was taken by the consular. The only reason i got an 221g was because on ceac my document was uploaded in the wrong spot. So on the same day after the interview we uploaded it. CEAC shows administrative processing. The date changed from August 16th and then August 24th and now August 27th. I am a bit confused what is going on.
can you advise me.
August 27, 2018 at 15:50
There is nothing I can say, other than “wait”.
August 27, 2018 at 16:03

Hallo dear
I am Egyptian but born in Kuwait so my case in As region
I am working in kuwait but my wife and children living in Egypt so I have selected my interview location to be in Cairo because it will be easier for all of us as they do not have visas for kuwait
Is that will cause any issues?
August 28, 2018 at 04:43
No.
August 28, 2018 at 04:52
Hi everyone, I wonder by reading dat DS 260 forms can’t be accessed yet I unlocked mine, edited and submitted in two days back.
Is dat issue based on regions?
Or there is new rules we don’t know
Thanks
August 28, 2018 at 05:20
Varies by case.
August 28, 2018 at 10:06
Hi britsimon
Finally we have arrived in USA at the port of entry the immigration officer said we must go to social security office after 30days to apply. For social security number is told him that we selected in ds260 for our social security card to be processed automatically, still the immigration officer says we still need to go to the social security office.
1. Last time you told us that we don’t need to go to the office they will just post it, do you still say that?
2.the immigration officer also said stamped our passports the stamps only says admitted then he wrote valid for a year on the stamp he says we can’t work until we have the green card , last time you told us that we can work with this one year stamp, do you think the immigration made a mistake?
August 28, 2018 at 14:14
1. I said that NORMALLY works that way. There is a chance it won’t work.
2. The officer was an idiot.
August 29, 2018 at 13:19
1.are you saying that we can work with that 1 year stamp? The stamps look so simple it only says admitted then he wrote for a year .
2. Unfortunately u told us not to bring any other documents beside the yellow envelope, now the social security office need our original birth certificate and we left them in Europe because we are going back in two weeks.
Anyway thanks for your guidance it was very helpful. Thank u and really thank u.
August 29, 2018 at 16:44
1. Yes. There is no need to keep asking me.
2. You asked about what documents you needed at the POE. You don’t need the birth cert for the POE processing, hence my answer – but common sense would have said to bring other documents you need to start life in the USA (like to get a drivers license, register in schools, open a bank account, register with a doctor). Really – you need to think ahead.
August 28, 2018 at 10:10
Hi brit,we had a succesful interview on the 24 aug ,family of 5 in Johannesburg South Africa ,all visa status shows issued except for my 1 child shows AP … what do you think, its day 2 …anyone experienced that please share
August 28, 2018 at 14:14
Day 2??? RELAX and be PATIENT!!!
August 28, 2018 at 10:37
Dear Brit,
My first entry to USA will be on next month. And in the first entry can I change the address in USA as well as the green card mailing address? If so can you please explain how this can be done?
August 28, 2018 at 14:18
Your last chance to change the address is at the POE when you hand over your envelope.
August 28, 2018 at 10:47
hi simon my interview date is on 5 september and currently im in eritrea but my interview location is ethiopia addis ababa and i dont think i can make it on time do you suggest i can should contact the embassy or kcc to reschedule my interview date what do you think i should do its very frustrating for me right now because in our system here you cant go out unless you should be exempt from national service and they also wont allow you to have passport its very compicated here.
August 28, 2018 at 14:20
You will not be able to to reschedule the interview and change location in time. If you can’t make the appointment your chance of a Green Card will probably be gone.
August 28, 2018 at 11:16

August 28, 2018 at 14:03

August 28, 2018 at 14:26

August 28, 2018 at 16:53
HELLO BRIT I AM A WINNER OF THE DV-2019 MY CASE IS 2019SA000004XX.

August 28, 2018 at 19:00
Hello Brit,
I’m Dv 2019 winner and my case number is 2019AF00007XXX. The first time I open my DS on ceac.state.gov website, it was without problem. But now I want to access it and fill out but not possible. I get some message telling me that: The Case Number entered is currently unavailable. Today I write KCC and the send me a response.
August 28, 2018 at 19:06
The answer of KCC I got today. What do you advice me?
Thank you for your inquiry.
In order to continue processing your case, the primary Diversity Visa applicant (DV-1) must schedule an appointment to appear in person at the United States Embassy in Lome. To schedule an appointment with the United States Embassy in Lome, please send your full name and DV case number to email address [email protected] / phone number 228-2261-5470 (accept calls Mon, Wed & Thurs 11:30-12:30 only) accept walk in inquiries Tues 14:00-16:00. You will need to bring your valid passport with you to your appointment at the United States Embassy in Lome. This appointment is not a visa interview and you are not required to pay any fees at this time.
In order for the Kentucky Consular Center to assist with inquiries regarding a specific Diversity Visa (DV) case, you must provide the Principal Applicant’s full name, complete case number, and date of birth in the following format (MMDDYYYY) as entered on the original entry. Please remember that the Kentucky Consular Center does not have the authority to tell you whether or not your specific case will be disqualified. Only a consular officer can do that at the time of your visa interview. Do not send any paper documents to the Kentucky Consular Center.
August 28, 2018 at 19:15
Follow their instructions.
August 28, 2018 at 19:51
Hi Brit,
I’m planning to travel (landing) in US. On 1st of Octorber 2018 with my family.
But I have to back home at end of October 2018 to finalize my work papers etc…
1- Can I leave US. as I planning? I mean just stay about 3 weeks and then travel before receiving the green card?
2- If yes, shall I ask my friend who will receive my Green Card by his address to send me the green cards by DHL to my home?
3- I read in the CBP website that I can use the immigrant visa once the endorsement done at the time of entry to US. Then the visa becomes asa Green Card for one year multi-entry, so can I use it for re-entry US. Within 6 months? Or I need the “plastic” green card to re-enter?
4- Shall I fill any of the forms such as I-131? Or any travel documenf form?
5- Any risk for my planning? I have no another option unfortunately.
Thanks
Lura
August 28, 2018 at 19:56
1. Yes
2. Up to you.
3. You answered your own question.
4. Only needed if you plan to to return to the USA for more than 1 year.
5. No
August 28, 2018 at 21:05
You are sooooo kind as expected all the time
Best if the best man…
So regarding question 2…no need to ask my cousin to send the plastic green cards? I read the rules but I love to hear it in your language 🙂
Thnx honey
August 28, 2018 at 21:22
Really – it is totally up to you – maybe you would prefer to have the cards in hand when you re-enter the USA – but it doesn’t matter either way.
August 28, 2018 at 23:01
Hi
Is DV 2020 confirmed for this year?
Thanks
Rody
August 28, 2018 at 23:07
Not yet – it is generally announced in September.
August 28, 2018 at 23:43
Hi Brit! ! am filling out my DS260 form and if my visa was revoked without prejudice since I changed from B1/B2 to a F1 should I put it was revoked? would that be an inconvenient? thank you
August 29, 2018 at 00:50
Revoked without prejudice is not important.
August 29, 2018 at 01:18

Hello everybody …
1. i just finished filling my ds260 forms …but am having problems submitting it. I dont know if it a problems across all the entries or am not doing something right. am unable to submit my forms.?
2. With the street address…is it jx the street name.?
August 29, 2018 at 16:12
1. It’s probably you because people with problems cannot even access their form. Because your comment is so vague – I don’t know what is causing your problem.

August 29, 2018 at 23:13
You are probably not reading the selective service note (mentioned to you already!).
You have to click the selective service note, once you do that the form should submit.
August 29, 2018 at 23:15
Or on the last page i should enter the case number without the zeroes??? Thank you
August 29, 2018 at 23:16
Again – you have been given a link about that. Read it.
August 29, 2018 at 19:40
1. What exactly can not you do? Is the “sign & submit button” inactive? You will need to re-enter your DV case number without the zeros or it’s about your age/ your children age: “You may also be prompted to fill out a form for “selected service”. Any us resident male under 26 years old is required to register for selective service.”
Re-check it https://britsimonsays.com/completing-the-ds260-for-dv-lottery-entrants/

Hey Brit!
What do you think about the Moscow embassy has not invited anyone to the interview dv2019?
August 29, 2018 at 16:14
I think you need to be patient.

Hello Dear Brit
I have been reading you a couple of year ago and I really appreciate the owesome work you are doing and keep doing for the whole world. I often read the FAQ and understand the clear answers you give to each question. I’m gonna ask you a question about ”DV Process versus Family based Immigration”. Actually I already read about it but don’t have a deep understanding. Let me explain my case clearly.
I am from West Africa. I entered the DV lottery in October 2015. At that time I was single with no children but I got a girl friend. In September 2016, I checked my result and had been randomly selected. At that time my girl friend was pregnant and we were already living together, In October the same year I submitted my DS 260. I submitted alone because I was not legally maried with my wife (Girl Friend) and we don’t have any document to proove we were married. My wife delivered in February 2017. In march 2017 the KCC replied to me and scheduled my interview for may. I continued my case alone. I did not talk about my new born to the Consular Officer the day of my interview. I went to the interview and I got approved. In August 2017, I got my Visa. I moved to USA in October. I have been living and working in USA for almost one (01) year now. I left my wife (girl friend) and my kid in Africa. Next year, I will go back to my country and get legally married with my wife.
1) In that situation, can I sponsor my wife and my kid to join me in USA?
2) As I did not report my child birth at the embassy before getting my Visa, what do I risk?
3) Will my LPR status be revoked if I try to bring my wife and my kid who was born before I got the Visa because the embassy knew nothing about him and my wife (girl friend)?
4) If it is possible to bring my family, what should be my yearly income before I fill the form?
5) If I fill the form correctly without a lawyer, is there any risk?
August 30, 2018 at 05:09
That is a family based immigration matter – I am not an expert in that – so cannot answer your questions.
September 1, 2018 at 20:26
Hello Brit.
Let me ask the question this way. I am still single but got a child now. I got my Visa last year and living now in USA.
My child was born after my first entry to the DV but 3 months before my interview. I did not put him in my DS 260 and I did not let the CO know about his birth. He is 18 months now.
Q: What should I do now?
September 1, 2018 at 20:34
I don’t know. I always tell people to be honest. If, like you, they don’t follow that advice, they should not be surprised when I am unable to help fix the mess their lies have created.
September 1, 2018 at 21:16
Thank You Brit.
Actually I never heard or read about a child born before the interview or even after the interview untill I read your post about that matter 2 weeks ago. If I had read or known a single thing about it, I would have followed the advices.
I will write to the Embassy and also to the USCIS to know what to do.
Thank you and I really appreciate the owesome work you are doing for the whole world.
September 1, 2018 at 21:29
Come on. It was certainly obvious when you went for your interview that your circumstances had changed. You should have made that clear. Not doing so was a deliberate omission.

Errors in Choice of Country of Chargeability: If the entrant chooses the wrong country of chargeability at the time of the initial entry, the error will generally be disqualifying. However, if a DV applicant chooses a country of chargeability on the DV entry form that is within the same geographic region (one of the six) as the correct country of chargeability, and you determine that the applicant gained no benefit from his or her error, and there are no fraud concerns, you may continue processing the application using the correct country of chargeability in IVO. Post may need to obtain additional DV number(s) for the correct country of chargeability from the Immigrant Visa Control and Reporting Division (CA/VO/DO/I), as necessary, via a VISAS FROG message (see 9 FAM 604.2-1).
What does it mean (using the correct county of chargeability in IVO???
What means IVO???
Thanks

It is their internal visa system.

If you are scheduled for interview already you cannot change it.
If not already scheduled you can unlock and fix it. Read the FAQ for unlock instructions.
August 29, 2018 at 09:44
Good day Simon.
I would like to ask you or any reader the actual complete list of vaccinations required. I am EU selectee.
Thank you
August 29, 2018 at 16:19
No. The doctor decides the required list based on various factors.
August 29, 2018 at 20:14
I understand. For example epathitis vaccination requires two or three injections in a long period to be complete, i was only worried not to be on time if needed.
August 29, 2018 at 20:31
You are overthinking it.
August 29, 2018 at 12:11
Hi brit,
I’d like to ask u a question, because we passed the interview, and they told us that our visa is approved, but in the ceac it shows AP? , is it normal??
August 29, 2018 at 16:29
Normally. Most cases pass through AP before Issued.
August 29, 2018 at 16:38
That is very common after a successful interview – it’s in the FAQ.
August 29, 2018 at 12:43
Hi, Brit. One question: The address I put in my DS260 is not longer correct (my relatives moved), can I change it at the POE once I’m completely sure where my relatives will live?
August 29, 2018 at 16:38
Yes
August 29, 2018 at 20:28
Thanks, so at the interview I can simply stay with the former?
August 29, 2018 at 20:30
Yes, but be SURE to update at the POE. You are responsible for a card replacement cost of around $500 per card if they send it to the address you provide – but the card is lost.
August 29, 2018 at 14:04
Hey dear, I am a DV-2019 winner. But for a one time, I was able to checking the DS-260 website. In other time, when I try to fill the application and submit, the website said to me last time was ” The Case Number entered is currently unavailable. ” and now “The Case Number entered is currently unavailable.”
Can you tell me the reason?? Please tell me some tips about this problems??
August 29, 2018 at 16:45
Some people have reported the same problem. Hopefully it will be fixed in some weeks.
May 30, 2023 at 02:13
HI ,I am also facing this problem, with the difference that I entered the wrong date of birth and it blocked my form and I could not enter the SD260 form, now I know the correct date, but my problem is still there.
May 30, 2023 at 08:45
If you have actually blocked your form (meaning you are entering all the correct information but the form won’t open) then you can only do one thing.
The solution is to write to KCC explaining carefully that your DS260 has been blocked due to multiple attempts to open it. They will (eventually) arrange with your assigned embassy to go to the embassy who will provide a pin to unblock the form. This process can take weeks or months, depending on the responsiveness of the embassy.
But I hope you have at least watched my video about this because maybe you did not block your form.
January 14, 2019 at 14:40
hello please have you solved this problem? i am facing the same problem
May 30, 2023 at 02:23
I have this problem for more than a month and KCC does not give a convincing answer
May 30, 2023 at 08:46
Actually, you are probably confusing KCC with inaccurate unclear questions.
June 20, 2023 at 02:47
Simon
Ds260 site is saying that my case number entered is currently unavailable and I have email them they have not responded to me,is there any other way to get the issues resolved
June 21, 2023 at 12:44
Most people have this problem because they are not entering the information correctly – watch the video below for help on that.
