Hi Brit,
How are you ?
I am in a bit complicated situation …My case is scheduled for interview in FEB and now my sponsor told me she is coming to our country for family visit in FEB and have plan to stay about 8 months …As you know my visa will expire in this interval if i get it. So I need your help in showing me some directions to get out of this mess…
1. Is it possible to discuss with COs to extend my Entry period so that It can get inline with her return?
Thank You!
January 21, 2019 at 15:57

January 21, 2019 at 16:19
1. Yes. But I am not sure that the certificate will qualify you.

But I was registered in commonwealth college as Nationality Togolese and both countries exams are west African countries exams .

January 22, 2019 at 02:40
You are thinking about the wrong thing. The question is whether your qualifications are sufficient to meet the requirement.
January 21, 2019 at 13:18
Hello Simon,
First of all, thank you for your time. It’s a bit unusual situation that happened. It’s last years’ lottery, my wife and I got an appointment at the US Embassy in September 2018, we didn’t show up, her grand father died and she gave up on going anywhere. Now, she’s recovered, eager to know is there any way to get another appointment. I know is very late now, but, I would like to ask someone who knows, and that’s you, is there any way to get another chance?
Thank you.
January 21, 2019 at 15:13
Hi simon! Case number 93XX.
Completed my ds260 on may 18th
Then got an email for submitting documents at the beginning of november. I sent them then I had to unlock my ds so I could make some changes. So I resent it.
Then on december 11th got an email saying the ds is complete and valid and documents received.
According to vb I was current since february. Still no 2nl. Do you think I will be scheduled on march? Do you think I am being delayed because of my ds unlocking on november?
Thank you for your patience!
January 22, 2019 at 03:15
There may be delays at the embassy. Be patient.
January 21, 2019 at 18:38

Hello Brit, some of the supporting documentation for the form i-134 that my sponsor gave me (employment letter, current and savings account status) will be like 3 month old by the time of the interview, would that be a problem?
Thanks!
January 22, 2019 at 03:08
No
January 22, 2019 at 12:12
Hi brits, how r u, my question is does the CO will check my DS-260 form during my interview?
January 22, 2019 at 14:56

January 23, 2019 at 09:34

January 23, 2019 at 14:33

January 25, 2019 at 09:10

January 25, 2019 at 15:09
I have no idea what you are asking.
January 29, 2019 at 08:23

January 29, 2019 at 19:46
I already answered. The answer hasn’t changed.
January 21, 2019 at 23:17
Hello Simon,
I am preparing my supporting documents and I have a quick question please. You probably didn’t need to worry about this as you had all you documents in english, however half of my documents are in foreign language so i had them translated to english. The translator stapled the “original” + “Translation” together.
What does the embassy keep for them ? only copies (of both Original and the translation) ?
Many thanks,
Kassem
January 22, 2019 at 03:11
You need to provide copies at the interview otherwise they will keep the original.
January 21, 2019 at 23:22
Me again, with one last question for today 🙂
I’m planning to activate my GC, and go back “home” for some months. However, I do want to be back to the US in less than 6 months so I don’t lose these months in the citizenship count.
If I stay 4 months in Europe, then I go the US for one week holidays, then come back to Europe for 5 more months, am I good ? does this count as 9 months, or every time I visit the US, it resets the clock ?
Thanks!!!!!
K
January 22, 2019 at 03:12
That relates to citizenship – I answer DV lottery questions.
January 22, 2019 at 23:28
The clock resets every time you leave the United States
January 23, 2019 at 03:55
Nonsense.
January 22, 2019 at 03:05
my case number is AS11xxx when can i expect my interview.

January 22, 2019 at 09:44
Hi Brit.
I’m a dv2019 selectee from Africa and my ds260 application was filled by my sister in Europe. On it,she said it was filled by the principal applicant.
Do you think I may get into trouble with that?
January 22, 2019 at 14:55
No
January 22, 2019 at 12:32
Hi sir, I was reading your blog when I crossed with the Foreign State Chargeability subject. When I conduct the initial entry to the lottery I had not heard about your blog so I did not have any guidance. so, when I read the following question:”Are you claiming eligibility based on the country where you were born?” I answered no (it is Saudi Arabia) and looked to the next question which is “If not, you must enter the country from :which you are claiming eligibility” and chose my nationality which is Yemen.
When I received the NL1 I saw the they put “Foreign State Chargeability: YEMEN” in the letter. I know that I put my case in the death zone as Yemen is one of the Travel Ban countries but back then the Travel Ban was not issued or even discussed as I recall. However, when I know about your blog I read it carefully and I understand the concept of Chargeability and filled the DS-260 step by step following your instructions and clarify that I born in Saudi Arabia.
My question is:”Do you think the CO would ignore the honest mistake that I did in the initial entry when he saw my birth certificate and consider my Foreign State Chargeability is SAUDI ARABIA or do you think it was a huge mistake and he will consider me from a travel ban country (which will decrease my chances enormously) because it was the country that I claimed eligibility based on it during the initial entry?”. Your honest opinion or even guess will mean a lot to me even if the odds are against me.
January 22, 2019 at 15:00
As you are a Yemen “national” you may be under the ban anyway.
January 22, 2019 at 15:08
Unfortunately you are right, but i still have small hope as 28 person last year be excepted from the ban by a miracle. OK, do you think they would consider me disqualified at all not because the ban but because that mistake?
January 22, 2019 at 16:03
Thank you sir, I found your answer on my below question on another place in your blog, sorry for bothering.
January 22, 2019 at 13:31
Hi Dear Simon
The procedure of submitting documents to kcc how much it has positive to out from administration process.
January 22, 2019 at 15:08
I don’t know.
January 22, 2019 at 15:41
Hello Brit, am super confused. I went for my interview on 11th Dec 2018 under case No. 2019AF73** and was asked to produce a certificate of good conduct from Malaysia where I studied for 4years. I did so and handed that document plus my passport in on the 3rd of January. By 11th Jan my status had changed from AP to ready but now I checked and my status changed back to AP. Is it normal or should I be worried?
January 22, 2019 at 16:03
Worrying won’t help. Just be patient.
January 22, 2019 at 18:56
Hi Simon,
thank you for all the valuable information on your site. Very helpful.
I’d like to ask:
1. Can you please explain in more detail how the ‘permanent residence address’ works?
I’ve used one address for my application, which was successful, and is now on the sealed envelope I am about to travel with in March. However, the contact from that address seems very unreliable lately, so I’ve found another friend who provided me with his address. I understand I can change this address on the USCIS website until the day of my departure. Is it a problem that the address on my envelope and the actual permanent residence address won’t match? Will the Immigration officer check this when I arrive?
2 The address is for a place that the person (a US citizen) rents. Is this a problem, does he have to be an owner?
3. Do I have to stay at this address? The address is in Texas, but I would like to spend a couple of months in NYC, in an apartment share. Do I have to let anyone know? Or as long as I receive official mail at the Texas address, its ok? I understand that it is my obligation to let USCIS know within 10days of changing addresses, however I don’t understand what changing addresses means in this context. Is it the place for receiving official mail or the place where I am actually located?
4. My friend is planning to move houses in approx. May or April. If my green card doesn’t arrive there until then, will I be able to change the address to his new place? how do I go about making sure my green card reaches me in this case?
5. At which point can I as LPR change the permanent resident address to my name? Say if I live in an apartment share, or I rent a studio, can I change the address to my name?
6. Can I go to any SSN office in the US to get a SSN number or doest it have to be in the state of my permanent residence address?
7. Do you think the current government shutdown can make it impossible or difficult for me to enter the USA in March?
Sorry for the amount of questions, but I tried googling and searching for all these answers with little luck. I’d really appreciate your help.
Thank you!
Filip
January 22, 2019 at 20:04
1. If you have not entered the USA yet, and you change the address at the POE, the new address MAY be used to send the GC. But it has been known to “go wrong” – so be aware.
2. No
3. Live where you want. Inform USCIS after you have moved.
4. See 1.
5. Oh my. you are so overthinking all this. Just use some logical thinking.
6. That depends what you answered in the DS260. But if you asked USCIS to apply for your DS260 and you don’t get it after 2 or 3 weeks, go to the ssa office.
7. No
January 22, 2019 at 20:23
Thank you Simon for your reply!
1. Well I don’t know if its better to leave the address with an unreliable friend who doesn’t communicate or risk that the new address will go wrong. What do you think? What happens if it does go wrong, are there any remedies for that?
5. Yes I might be overthinking this:). Logically, once I rent my own place, I can change the address to my name. Right?
6. I can’t remember if I ticked that box. Honestly, I didn’t know what an SSN was when I was filling out the application. Do you know if there is a way to find out?
Thank you Simon!
January 22, 2019 at 20:42
1. Your decision. It can end up costing you hundreds of dollars to replace each Green Card, so be careful.
5. Still overthinking.
6. Check your DS260.
January 22, 2019 at 21:04
Cheers!
5. Well wow how am I still overthinking, that was my best logic. Please let me know how this works, I beg you!
6. Its not possible to check the DS260 online for my case anymore. From what I gathered, it shouldn’t be a problem to ask for an SSN at the office in either case, right?
Thank you for your help.
January 22, 2019 at 21:21
5. I said earlier. Once you move, inform USCIS. That’s all. No need for further questions.
6. Others have checked their DS260 after approval – but whatever. Wait 2 or 3 weeks anyway, then visit the SSA.
January 22, 2019 at 21:49
Yes, I tried to access it online but I get this message:
“You are attempting to access a Diversity Visa case for a program year that is not current. The case is not eligible for further processing at this time. ”
Thank you for all your advice!
January 22, 2019 at 19:02
Dear xxxxxxx:
Records indicate you have submitted a complete and valid DS-260 application for each family member, and you have provided all required documentation to the Kentucky Consular Center.
Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing. Interviews for the DV 2019 program will begin in October 2018 and conclude on September 30, 2019. Please refer to the visa bulletin at http://www.travel.state.gov to locate the current numbers being processed. This bulletin is updated after the 15th day of each month. Once an interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via email to check http://www.dvlottery.state.gov.

Hey guys who got the 2NL this year. After sending documents digitally to KCC, is it normal to not get any response by them? Does it mean everything is okay and 2NL will be sent according to your case number and Bulletin? or do they reply confirming everything was processed and was okay?
That’s all for now, submitted documents days ago and haven’t received any reply, just the auto-reply by KCC saying they received the documents. Btw, thanks Simon and Xarthisius for bringing back the hall of fame of scraping hehehehehe
January 22, 2019 at 20:27
When the new process was introduced, there was no response. But if you are concerned, contact KCC to ask them.
January 23, 2019 at 06:10
Alright, thank you Simon.
January 26, 2019 at 13:04
Hey, did they schedule u?
January 22, 2019 at 19:41
“High School or 2 years work experience in the last 5 years”
How do you calculate going back 5 years?
I assume, you start counting back from your interview date?
Latest interview September 2019.
So everything after September 2014 counts?
My secondary schoolform should be accepted normally.
I am not sure about a job role in the past. Just in case to be safe from both sides..
Thank you Simon! 🙂
January 22, 2019 at 20:28
Yes, 5 years as of the interview date.
January 22, 2019 at 20:38
Sounds cool.. 🙂 O*Net confused me a little with the descriptions..
January 22, 2019 at 20:22
Hi
Is affidavit of support needed as a dv lottery winner?
January 22, 2019 at 20:43
Often, yes.
January 22, 2019 at 23:08
Hello Brit ,am scheduled for an interview in two weeks time but I am expecting a new passport this week because my country has introduced the electronic passports and we are all entitled to upgrade to them.
My worry is I have even already registered my appointment and courier services using the old passport number.
1.So should I write to the embassy or KCC informing them that I will be carrying a different New passport alongside the old (will be punched/destroyed )
2.Won’t this be risky for me after having a registered appointment with old passport?
Thanks
January 23, 2019 at 03:51
1. Inform the embassy if you want.
2. No. People renew passports. It’s normal.
January 23, 2019 at 07:08
Thank you very much
January 23, 2019 at 19:44
Which country are you from Jane?
January 22, 2019 at 23:28
Hi Simon,
In the beginning of December I sent the scanned copy of documents to KCC and some days ago I got the confirmation accordingly. Few days ago I asked to unlock our DS-260 to add our newborn baby and I did add him, though I have not resubmitted the forms. Cause we are far from our home country and the baby is born here, normally he will be eligible to have two passports. So far, we have not received any passport for him and as you already advised me, we are going to use the passport of parents for the moment. Now, I want to know whether there is any difference to mention one of two nationalities of the baby first and the other one as second?! I wish to put the country where he is born as the first one. In that case, to put info. of parent’s passport, it won’t be confusing!? I mean mentioning a country as nationality of the baby, but putting the passport info. of other country!?
Re-asking documents via email from KCC, could be because of adding new member in the family? Can I send all the documents except the passport of the baby, because the baby does not have passport? And I will explain them the situation in the email!
Last question, dispite that I have not submitted yet the modified DS-260 forms, receiving request for further documents could have any reason or it’s their normal process?
Thanks a lot,
January 23, 2019 at 03:52
I think you are overthinking all this. It’s about an infant. It’s not a problem. Just follow your best judgement.
January 28, 2019 at 18:56
hey hussein how u doing , before the begining of december my email was not functioning but starting from december it`s working and now active my question is

i need advice on dv 2019 i won. i got 5As ,2Bs and a C from high school.I am a 3rd year university student offering medical laboratory science. i won the lottery and i am slated for interview in March this year. the university i am attending hasnt got accreditation though i will graduate this semester and do my internship next year before i get my degree certificate.

4 What will be my fate without having a degree in the US.
looking forward to your hearing your kind advice
January 23, 2019 at 03:58
1. Possibly.
2. That is up to you!
3. You have to decide that for yourself.
4. I don’t know.
January 23, 2019 at 07:25
Hi Brit Simon.
I have been given visa and now I am planning my visit to the US. The case is that my first trip will be short just to activate my LPR status till the visa deadline, as I will have to come to my country to shut down business before permanently moving to the US in my second travel. So, besides activating my status, I wanted to use this trip to travel to the west side with my family, but my mailing address is in New York. In this case, do I have to visit NY, or getting admission in POE in any US airport will allow me to travel. Additionally, do I have to visit admission (immigration) offices in NY city to apply for my cards, apart from PoE admission.
In any case I will not wait for my GC arrival in NY, as my trip will be 10 days, which I suppose will not be enough for its arrival (p.s. mailing address I have provided in DS260 is my close relative’s. He will bring the card to me). So, can I not visit NY in this trip?
Regards,
Adel
January 23, 2019 at 14:33
Enter at any US airport, and travel or live where you want.
January 25, 2019 at 10:29
Thank you for replying back. Another question: My visa deadine is 29 May, I will travel during 18May-08June. My return will be after the visa deadline. Considering I will not have my greencard till that time, will I be able to have a flight on 08 June? Officers in the airport may ask and ban me because of that?
Regards,
Adila
January 25, 2019 at 15:10
No problem.
January 23, 2019 at 11:47
Dear BritSimon,
I hope your day is going great. I have a small question for you. In my country military service is compulsory. According to “Reciprocity and Civil Documents by Country” page, military records are “available and mandatory for immigrant visa applicants”. I am exempt from military service for some circumstances. I have a military document which is valid until the age of 27 (you can serve in military only up to that age), and a record in it saying I am except until the same date, which means I don’t have to serve at all.
The question appeared when I read the e-mail about documents (new procedure), where it’s said “Military records for any applicant who is currently serving in the military or who has previously served in the military”. I will surely take this document to the interview, but should I send it? It’s said “currently serving or has previously served”, but I have not, even though this document is mandatory for applicants from my country. I am thinking if it will 1. help to avoid any AP if I send it now or 2. create unnecessary confusion because I’m sending this document, but I haven’t ever served. What do you think? Is there anything bad in sending more documents than less?
I know I should use my own judgement, but just want to know your thoughts on this.
Thank you very much in advance!
Sincerely,
Max
January 23, 2019 at 14:36
Send it.
January 23, 2019 at 13:19
Dear Simon
I applied the first entery one nationality for the lottery. When i won, the America banned the country that i had chosen, so i had two nationality, then i filled two nationalities for the Ds260. Can that little difference for the information effect my Visa?
Thank you sir
January 23, 2019 at 14:43
You did it correctly – so you should be OK.
January 23, 2019 at 16:41
Good evening Brit
I’m winner of the 2019 Dv in Togo
I received the mail from kcc for sending documents.
my documents are in french (official language) i would like to know if i need to translate them into english before sending
Thank you
January 23, 2019 at 19:20
Yes. The letter you received has full instructions about that.
January 24, 2019 at 07:50
Yes but I would like to know if I have to send both: the original and the transalation of each document? or is it only translations?
January 24, 2019 at 14:30
Read. The. Instructions.
March 2, 2019 at 19:39
I advise you to translate your documents and to send everything, I lost 3 months because of no translation and I received the confirmation only after sending the documents and their translations. so do not waste time.
January 24, 2019 at 08:34
hi fleuryslight
you don’t need to translate your documents if your interview will be in TOGO. because french is the official langage of togo. i’m in togo too
January 24, 2019 at 09:47
Hello Edoh,
thanks so much!!! have a good day!
January 23, 2019 at 17:33
Dear Sir,
Thank you first of all, I got visa and I created an account so that I will pay the GC fare before travelling but I arrived a part just after creating :
1-ADD A PAPER FILLED CASE
2-FILE A FORM ONLINE
3-ENTER A REPRESENTATIVE PASSCODE
4-VERIFY YOUR IDENTITY .
Now I don’t know which part I should click.
January 23, 2019 at 19:21
I have no idea what you are looking at.
January 24, 2019 at 06:51
I want to pay my green card fee but I created my account but I arrived at this stage and I don’t which part to click
January 24, 2019 at 06:59
Me neither. It should have something listed about paying fees.
January 24, 2019 at 07:26
Hi Brits, greeting my case number is AF245**and I have not received any mail from KCC to submit documents
January 24, 2019 at 14:28
OK. Patience.
January 23, 2019 at 18:53
Hi Brit!
We have sent the documents twice to KCC online, and we have recieved the ahtomaaut reply. When we called them they said that they didn’t have any documents from us and told us to send them the documents again. We sent them for the third time today. Do you think that our emails go to their spam folder everytime ?
And can we send the documents to them from a different email or it should be from the one that we received KCC’s instructions ?
January 23, 2019 at 19:24
Receiving an automatic email doesn’t mean they ca associate what you send with your case. The case references are very important (and fully described in their email request for the documents). Slow down, read the email they sent you and make sure you are following the instructions. Once you email (from any email you like) you should check with them to make sure you did it right.
January 23, 2019 at 20:13
Hello,
Thanks for your helpful answers, i have an urgent issue, i would appreciate your answer.
my wife is my the main applicant, when we filled ds260 in September, i filled my job info in my form, and i put the details of the company i freelance with, but at that time, i hadn’t any contract with them, it was just a freelancing job, and later i noticed that may cause us problems in the interview that is coming soon.
Some info :
Case number : AF12xxx
Current status : waiting for my 2L after receiving confirmation from kcc saying that my documents are good.
1 – knowing that i will have a contract with the company i work for in the next week, what do you suggest me to do ? request ds unlock and correct it ? , or bring my work certificate with me in the interview ?
Thanks !
January 23, 2019 at 20:22
As the derivative, your job information is irrelevant.
January 23, 2019 at 20:28
kcc repied for my question ,’still no asked documents to submit.’, Like this Thank you for your inquiry.

What does it mean?
January 23, 2019 at 20:36
It means you need to wait.
January 24, 2019 at 06:09
Hi Brit.
my case number is current, March, but I don’t get 2nl from them. I asked kcc, and got standard generic reply saying that I should have been received or will soon receive email asking to scan and send some docs. But I did already, in last November. Should I do it now again??
January 24, 2019 at 06:49
Ask KCC.
January 24, 2019 at 06:52
Thanks for your reply.
January 24, 2019 at 07:53

I have another question, well two actually.
As far as work experience goes, it says two years within the last 5 years. But should that be in the same company?
Because i`m a Computer Network Engineer for 8 years now. However, i haven`t worked in the same company within those 8 years. I changed companies, not occupation, just company, 3 times. I`m in the 3rd company right now where i`m going into my 4th year.
1st company i worked for 1 year,
2nd ” ” 2 and a half years
Question 2 as far as translating the documents goes.
Does my Passport, birth certificate, police certificate, and letter of employment, all be translated into Eng? and where would i have to go to do these?
January 24, 2019 at 14:41
1. No problem.
2. You MUST read the instructions.

January 24, 2019 at 14:29
Hey Brit, hope you doing good.
I am green card lottery winner(already have green card), maybe next year i would like to marry my girlfriend. Do you have any valuable source of information for this case? Is it possible, how long can the process take… Thanks
January 24, 2019 at 14:43
It takes around 2 years. I don’t have a source.
January 24, 2019 at 16:23
Hello Brit. My case nr 15×××.
I want to ask you.. what reasons could give you to refuse your visa besides medical or diseases issues ? And also if you have all the documents that they asked for all good without any issues?
I just don’t want to stress for the interview too much , because I ve been in the usa before with different working visa and I never had any problem at the embassy.
Thank you so much ! You are great!
January 24, 2019 at 17:10
If you have followed the process correctly and meet the requirements, it is pretty unlikely to get refused.
January 24, 2019 at 17:35
Hi brit,
I got my green card and thank you too.please tell me how to submit re entry application. I need to go back because my study. should I hand it over on hand or should I send it by post? I didnt do cliometrics yet.
January 24, 2019 at 18:07
That is the I-131 process. I don’t advise on anything outside of DV lottery. Try Google.
January 24, 2019 at 17:40
I am a winner dv 2019SA000002xx I would like to know if I can attend an appointment with the passport subtracting 4 months to expire?
January 24, 2019 at 18:07

January 24, 2019 at 18:31
Hi
Can I put Hotel address where I intended to live before orientation in the DS-260 permanent address?
January 24, 2019 at 18:48
No. It must be a real, residential address.
January 24, 2019 at 19:07
What should I do if I don’t have an address in the USA? I am intending to live in the hotel for 1 month before getting an apartment. Please advice why it cannot work if it cannot work?
January 24, 2019 at 19:41
Your GC will be delivered at any time within 3 or 4 months after you enter. So – if it could be delivered to the hotel address (which should not happen with certain types of mail), it would then be a gamble whether it was then forwarded to you or not. If it is not forwarded, it will cost around $500 per card to replace. So – in short – DON’T DO THAT.
Get a reliable address. A family friend, or a friend of a friend. Someone you can trust.

Hello Mr Simon,
I have a question regarding supporting documents. Me and my spouse are citizens of two different countries – I am from Georgia (EU region) and my spouse is from Egypt (AF region). Both our marriage and our baby’s birth certificates were issued in my country. Afterwards these documents were translated and legalized in Georgia to be accepted in Egypt. A couple of years ago we had to present the Georgian original docs to local authorities in order to receive Egyptian documents, since we live here. So, both Georgian original certificates are missing but we have Egyptian documents that are also original with official governmental stamps and seals. Will the Egyptian documents be considered as originals, since we chose the US Embassy in Cairo as the appointment location?
January 25, 2019 at 15:12
I have never lived in Egypt, but my guess would be no.
January 25, 2019 at 17:27
Sir , im 2019 Dv winner in Asia region. My sponsor have been sponsored another DV winner in this 2019DV year and they visas approved for 2 members. My interview will be scheduled about on june month. Now can he sponsored to me? His annual income about 80 k . And their family included 4 members.
January 25, 2019 at 18:48
That would be unwise, in my opinion.
January 25, 2019 at 17:53

thank you
January 25, 2019 at 18:49
1. It sounds like you emailed them a question and they don’t understand what you are asking.
2. I don’t know.
January 25, 2019 at 18:03
Hello Brit,
I got the email that asked me to sent back certain documents.
The problems is that I got my birth cerificate indicating my previous adress that I used to live. As right now I live in the adress I have declared when I completed the lottery and all the other processes. Will this be a problem? Cuz I can explain to the embassy that I just have not registered in my new adress due to living rent free, but I’m afraid they will see it just as a mistake in my applications and deny to further process my case. What is ur opinion?
January 25, 2019 at 18:49
No problem.
January 25, 2019 at 18:39
Hi Brit,
I understand that we are looking at 11000 when it comes to Iran. Will Iran eventually merge into AS (removed from except category)? If so, what month is your prediction? I could only see in 2017 visa bulletin that it kept going until July before that happened. Your advise is appreciated.
January 25, 2019 at 18:50
Eventually yes. I am not predicting when.
January 25, 2019 at 19:50
Good Evening Brit, Thank you for every Thing , does someone who has made an typing error still have the right to unlock DVS 260, while he has already got 2NL?
January 25, 2019 at 23:26
No. At that point KCC cannot unlock the DS260, so any changes need to be passed to the embassy, usually at the interview.
January 25, 2019 at 21:12
hi brit if you have time please collect some information and write a blog on lower case numbers which still have not asked for submission of additional documents. Thanks for your help.
January 25, 2019 at 23:28
Write what?
January 25, 2019 at 21:58
Hello

In the mail subject i just wrote 2019EU**** like we write to check our status at ceac without zeros and etc.

Thank you
January 25, 2019 at 23:29
Disqualify you for what?
January 25, 2019 at 23:40
Hello Brit. I am a 2019AF45xxx winner in Ivory Coast. The courthouse does not know a police certificate. what to do ? what is this document? Wanted to know if it exists in all countries. Thank you
January 25, 2019 at 23:48
What do the instructions in the reciprocity page for Ivory Coast say?
January 26, 2019 at 02:59
Dear Brit,
Once again many thanks to you for your invaluable service to the DV community.
I’m scheduled for DV interview in Feb . Im in the AF region. My wife delivered a baby (our 3rd) in the United States in October after we had submitted our DS260. She returned to our home country after our case became current.
Our first two are already on the DS260.
Questions:
1. is it still necessary to disclose that we have a 3rd child even if the CO does not ask at the interview?
2. Are there any negative consequences if the CO does not ask and I don’t tell?
Thank you once again.
January 26, 2019 at 16:54
1. Why wouldn’t you???? Being less than truthful is stupid. Tell the truth.
2. See 1.
