Hi SimionSir, please do help me to clarify and confirm the following information. Recently, its from hear say that children who are age below 14 are considered minor. And minor children need not attend visa interview. Is it correct or not sir? Please do confirm as I could not get any confirm sources to rely. If this is right, i am planning to change my interview location. I am a DV 2020 applicant. Thanks

Policy varies by embassy. Check with them.
July 5, 2020 at 21:58
Hello Brit,
Is there a way on the website to track my questions, sometimes i get lost 🙂
I asked you before about college and school certificates do you have any idea if they should be attested by ministry of foreign affairs or it’s enough just to have it from the university or concerned party, page of reciprocity doesn’t not mention anything about it.
Many thanks
July 6, 2020 at 18:21
When posting a question you can choose to be notified. Do that so you can search for your questions.
July 6, 2020 at 18:24
Whether documents need to be attested or not depends on the embassy. Make sure you have read the instructions, including embassy specific instructions, reciprocity page and so on.

Hi Brit
I am, 2021 winner , i am married.
1.Do i need to upload the marriage certificate while filling the ds 260 form.
If i do , where is that option for uploading it ( because i can’t found anywhere how to do it ).
2. Do i need to upload any other document while filling the ds-260.
Thank you for your time , i appreciate it.
July 6, 2020 at 18:24
1. No
2. No
July 7, 2020 at 20:17
Hi Sir , sorry for bothering you again about same question.( First One )
I got married after i won DV 2021 . On my entry for dv 2021 i applied as a single.
I still haven’t fill the ds-260 form..
What is confusing me now is when i read the instruction on travel.state.com it says :
“If your family circumstances have changed after you entered the Diversity Visa program, for example, if you have gotten married or had a child, you will need to add your new family members to your case. (“Family member” refers to a spouse and/or unmarried children who had not reached age 21 before you entered the DV program.) When adding family members to your case, you will need to upload a document to prove your relationship to the family member being added.”
In this cause , as mine do i need to upload marriage certificate while filling the form.?
If i do can you link me to some example how to do it.
Again , sorry for asking to times same thing but i thought i didn’t explained my self the first time.
Thanks Brit

July 6, 2020 at 05:07
Hi!
I won for DV visa lottery 2021 and it says that i have to upload police clearance letter from all the places you have resided since age of 16. I lived in LA and Chicago from 2009 to 2014. I am trying to get the clearance letter from one in LA. It is very hard. I don’t where to get it. Then there is clearance letter from DOJ and FBI seems also applicable, but i am not sure. But FBI clearance letter seems so complicated to get, like you have to scan your finger into this finger scanner that you have to order and mail it o US post office etc. I am currently living in Mongolia which is where i am from. If you could help me out, i would really appreciate it. Love what you are doing. thanks.
July 6, 2020 at 18:25
No police certs needed for the USA (covered in the instructions).
July 6, 2020 at 08:09

Thankyou God bless you
July 6, 2020 at 18:28
Don’t come with an intention to adjust status – you could screw the whole thing up.
July 7, 2020 at 09:12
@ritaluz Where you from? i’m SA17XX
July 6, 2020 at 08:30
Good morning Brit
I am a business man. Been doing business for the past 6 years. Don’t have any other job experience. What my chances of getting the visa.
July 6, 2020 at 18:28
I have no idea. It would depend on your education.
July 6, 2020 at 10:36
Dear Brit,
I am a winner of lottery DV2021. when I fill the security questions for my wife, it ıs asking is there any overstaying period in US. Unfortunately, my wife stayed due to to pandamec and the fights were several times canceled in May and June. Now she is in my country, bu she broke the rule unvoluntarely. However, she applied uscis for extension of visa with all documents and extension fee payment, although uscis received the application with confirmation, but there is no progress on visa extension so far. Is trhere any case that this is risk for getting negatif response from KCC or does embassy consuler decide for giving the Green card?
Thanks
July 6, 2020 at 18:30
If the overstay was less than 6 months, there should not be a problem.
July 6, 2020 at 18:41
Initially she had 6 months permission on her passport, covid happened in April (4.th month ) so no flight until 15th of June. She came back earliest available flight on 19th of June. So she stayed almost 220 days. does she break the law? Since there is proof of flight cancel documents, could they be enough for not having trouble? Who will decide for this matter? Thanks again
July 6, 2020 at 19:43
So the overstay was less than 6 months.
July 7, 2020 at 00:13
Hi Brit,
The staying date starts from October 2019 to mid June 2020. Initilay return ticket was in April 2020 but canceled to May and then again to early June 2020. It was also canceled finally Lufthansa started some flights to Germany after mid June. So canceling several times happened. During that time was in April she applied to USCIS for extension visa overstaying period.
Sorry for misexplaining
July 7, 2020 at 00:27
I don’t know why you are explaining further detail. I already answered.
July 7, 2020 at 00:24
Sorry for the lack of explaining. She went to US in November 2019. Return ticket was in April 2020. But covid delayed Lufthansa flights to May and then to June. Her lawfully last date was ended at early May. But she applied in April to USCIS before overstaying period to get extension visa due to cancels. The application is still in process now.
July 7, 2020 at 00:32
Sorry again my intention was overstaying was more than 6 months. It happened due to cancels not personal reasons
Thanks again

July 6, 2020 at 14:13
Hi Brit
I have a valid visa in my AF passaport, since i was born in AF region. Bur im currently in Portugal and plan to travel to the US to activate my visa wich is valid till the end of July, my issues are:
1- Im traviling to NYC, but my final destination is Dallas. Will i have to stay in quarantine in NYC for 14 days because im coming from a Schengen area?
2- Can i travel from NYC to Dallas just with the visa? Untill my GC arrives.
Thanks for all your support!
July 6, 2020 at 19:04
1. You cannot travel to the USA from the Schengen area. You need to make other plans immediately as you need to be out of the Schengen area for 14 days before entry to the USA, so you have no time to lose.
2. Yes – but see 1.
July 7, 2020 at 09:22
Why? If my visa is valid? Isn’t my imigrant visa considerd exception? There are flights departing from Portugal. Please help
July 7, 2020 at 16:11
No your visa does not create an exception. Please re-read what I said.
July 7, 2020 at 23:18
I’m confused, I bought a ticket today for Friday. They said my visa is fine, because it says imigrant visa. I have been in Portugal for 4 days, I came from Africa since it was the only flight I could catch. The lady in the airport said I have to do self quarantine in US, once I arrive wich I don’t mind. No I’m worried will I be deported from the US Or won’t be allowed to travel at all? I’m so sorry to annoy you but this is really serious and I’m running out of time! 🙁
July 8, 2020 at 00:49
Perhaps we are talking two different things.
You said you have a valid **VISA**. I took that to mean you have been issued with an immigrant visa and need to activate your status by entering the USA. In other words you are not already a Lawful Permanent resident. If that is correct, then you are barred from entry to the USA from the Schengen area. In this case, the airline should not allow you to board the plane. Link below.
https://www.dhs.gov/news/2020/03/17/fact-sheet-dhs-notice-arrival-restrictions-china-iran-and-certain-countries-europe
On the other hand if you have ALREADY entered the USA after being given a USA immigrant visa, then you are ALREADY a Lawful Permanent Resident, even though you may not have your Green Card yet. Technically, you DO NOT have a “visa” in this case. If this is the case then you are able to travel to the USA as you are a returning resident. And in that scenario, yes there is a quarantine procedure.
July 8, 2020 at 21:07
Hi Brit! Thanks for your support you were right I contacted the local USA embassy and they told me the airline could not allow me to board. I have changed my flight to Israel, I will stay there for 14 days and then catch a flight to JFK. I hope all goes well my visa will expire very soon! I appreciate your attention towards my case, and hope I have found the right solution. I have spent so much money but I’m not going to quit ! I will activate my visa and become a LPR! God Bless you I’m greatfull for all your attention
July 6, 2020 at 16:03
Dear sir Simon ! Hope you are well !
Many thanks for your precious support !
I am in AP 221g since February . i wanted to ask if AILA wins the case and Trumps ban becomes TRO do i need still the embassy to re open ? Because i think my interview was sucesful as the CO told me just a verficiation and told me how to send the passports when he would need them.
Am i affected of embassy closure even if the ban is suspended ?
Many thanks indeed !
God bless you sir !
July 6, 2020 at 19:12
Not necessarily. If your AP has concluded and the ban is removed, it is possible they could issue the visa without further interview.
July 6, 2020 at 17:29
I am from country Nepal and my government issue birth certificate is in English language too so now do I have to do notary to my birth certificate or not?
July 6, 2020 at 19:13
Read the instructions for your country.
July 6, 2020 at 17:33
I am from country Nepal and I have my government issue birth certificate is in English language too so do I have to notary my birth certificate.
July 6, 2020 at 17:47
Hello Brit,
I have some questions related to public charge in usa. I have asked employer in US, she is my father’s friend. She owns a store in US. and she offers me a job as baker after I immigrate to US.
My question is what documents that can proof me not going to public charge in US in this case beside of i-134.
Thank brit.
July 6, 2020 at 19:20
A job offer like that is implausible, unless you are a highly skilled baker. It would be better to get them to complete an I-134.
July 6, 2020 at 19:02
During the entrant for the DV I didn’t include my 23 years old son all because he pass the age.The place for children I put zero. Now that I am successful can I add him to the program but he’s not traveling along with me . Please advise me if it is possible to get the visa
July 6, 2020 at 19:41
Your son should be listed on your DS260, but he will not get a visa as part of your process.
July 8, 2020 at 13:19
Does this case lead to disqualification Brit? Thanks alot..
July 8, 2020 at 20:57
No
July 6, 2020 at 19:04
is it possible that the DV 2020 interview will be canceled or extended?
July 6, 2020 at 19:41
Neither will happen.
July 6, 2020 at 21:28
is there any update about class action lawsuit
July 6, 2020 at 21:41
No – there won’t be any updates until after they file, which will be next week.
July 6, 2020 at 23:30
I had submitted the required document as KCC DV as they requested 1) birth certificate, 2) police clearance and 3) passport bio-page. However, I received an email subsequently after and it stating:
“Thank you for submitting your Diversity Visa documents to the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC). After reviewing your documents, KCC has determined that you have not yet provided sufficient documentation that you meet the passport requirement. Please review the information below and verify that you have submitted all requested documentation….”
Can you explain what additional documentation they are talking about. Thanks
July 7, 2020 at 00:11
I don’t know what you provided.
July 7, 2020 at 13:55
Thank you for your prompt response Brit
I submitted a picture of my birth certificate, a picture of my passport biographic page and a picture of my police clearance. I took the photos with my mobile phone since they said that is accepted. So i do not know what other information i have to submit to them since i submitted what they asked for
July 7, 2020 at 16:26
You should ask them.
July 7, 2020 at 15:59
You are missing the diploma or proof of your professional qualification relating to your passport status.
July 7, 2020 at 16:13
Thank you. I will send them my qualifications
July 7, 2020 at 16:27
I think your are wrong. the documents for academic or working experience must be presented at the interview. have you submitted the document AND the translations?
July 7, 2020 at 17:38
The documents I submitted to them (Birth certificate, Passport, Police clearance) are in English, so no translation is required. I re-read the email and it states i should submit a photocopy of my passport bio page. Maybe that was the problem. I will re-submit the required documents and this time i will photocopy the bio page before I snap a picture of it, just as it states in the email
Thank you all for your reply.
July 7, 2020 at 01:07
Hello Brit,
I am DV 2019 winner. Me and my family received green cards on October 4 2019 (after an activation trip). We planned to move to the US in March 2020 with a potential job offer. But then Covid-19 outbreak began, the company is currently under hiring freeze. We decided to postponed our entry. wait and see…
I am aware that a lawful permanent resident shouldn’t stay outside of America for more than 1 year, which means me and my family have to enter US in early October 2020.
Given the circumstance, do you think it is wise to move to the US with my 3 year old son and wife without a job offer? We also don’t have any relatives or close friend living in the US. Any suggestion that you can give to a new immigrant like me?
Thank you very much
July 7, 2020 at 03:26
Emigrating is never easy. It’s tough. As to whether you can do it or not, I don’t know. If I were you I would come before bringing the wife and child and see what opportunities you can get.
July 7, 2020 at 04:04
Dear Simon
I am a selectee of DV2020 and case number is AS25xxx.
I have sent the required documents on Feb. 9, 2020 first time and Apr. 9, 2020 again.
I got the confirmation letter about that they have received all documentation required and ready to be scheduled for an interview by KCC yesterday (July 7, 2020).
I know that should be meaningless at this moment, just FYI.
Thank you for that you do for us and be healthy everyone.
July 7, 2020 at 05:21
Thanks!
July 7, 2020 at 17:35
Hi Brit, my sis called KCC to know the state of her documents and they told her DV-2020 is over. The woman was very bold to tell her that.
1) Does it mean that even AILA wins KCC will decide not to send 2NL or reschedule cases that were cancelled? God help us.
July 7, 2020 at 18:59
As I have explained many times, the comments from KCC need to be treated with some caution.
Nothing changed. If the ban were to be removed, AND the embassies reopened, and if this hapens in time, KCC would schedule some interviews.
July 8, 2020 at 08:05
If the ban will be removed should I have any chance to get interview ? dv 2020 winer case nr 38k eu
July 8, 2020 at 20:48
We need the ban removed AND embassies reopened. Will those things happen – I don’t know. But if they do, there are still going to be DV2020 winners who miss out because there is not enough time.
July 7, 2020 at 19:28
Sorry, @Ryan did you get the confirmation email on July 7 or it was earlier scheduled for July 7.
July 7, 2020 at 04:32
Hi Brit,
Is it compulsary that main applicant should always go first before derivatives? ( bcz main applicant is me but there are more job opportunities for husband than me).. so cant my husband goes n get a job and me join him with our kids before visa expires?
p.s- can’t he do relevant documentation on behalf of me as he is my husband?)
July 7, 2020 at 05:22
Compulsory.
July 7, 2020 at 04:42
Hi BritSimon,
I have submitted my DS260 on 27th of June and today is 7th of July. I want to unlock it for the surnames of my parents. Will it effect my case ? Thank You
July 7, 2020 at 05:22
No.
July 7, 2020 at 05:16
Hello dear Simon. Hope all is well. I submitted my DS 260 form and now have couple of questions and your answer is highly appreciated.
This is what confirmation page says; Your Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application (DS-260) was sent to the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) for review.
Next Steps All Diversity Visa applicants must:
1. Obtain required supporting civil documents. 2. Obtain photographs that meet the Department of State’s visa requirements. 3. Review the information specific to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General where your visa interview will occur.
Question 1.After submitting DS 260 when should I send supporting documents.? Should I wait for their email with instruction?
Question 2. In confirmation page it says ”Obtain photographs that meet the Department of State’s visa requirements” Should I send photo with supporting documents or bring it to the interview?
Your advice is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Ramin.
July 7, 2020 at 05:19
1. Wait for the email.
2. At interview.
July 7, 2020 at 05:24
Thanks a lot dear Simon for your prompt answer.
July 7, 2020 at 05:25
will i be able to see my submitted ds260 form again?
thank you brit
July 7, 2020 at 15:53
You can see that anytime.
July 7, 2020 at 05:48
Good morning Sir, DV2021
1- when will the number of selectees be known taking in consideration the announcement of the result was on 6 june ?
2- will the first VB be on the mid of August?
3- Do you expect an increase in the VB cases after the ban finishes because till now 3 months are out of interviews?
4- In case the embassies reopen soon, can they do the interviews but not issuing the visas until the ban finishes?
Thanks in advance , GOD bless you and your family ,
July 7, 2020 at 15:56
1. Maybe in the next VB (within the next week) or possibly the one after that (a month later).
2. Yes
3. I don’t know.
4. I don’t know.
July 7, 2020 at 22:12
Hi Simon i’m 2020dv winner I came into USA early February I have been paid for my immigrant fee GC but I didn’t receive it yet I submitted case inquiry I know covid 19 one problem but is it normal delaying of permanent resident card this much??
July 8, 2020 at 00:51
Well that is a long time. Did you go to the address listed on the DS260?
July 8, 2020 at 01:50
Of course there were some missing number on it but I corrected it and they send that letter on that address..I got social security number early
July 8, 2020 at 02:24
Unless you corrected it Before your entry, the GC was probably sent to the old address. Ask USCIS.
July 8, 2020 at 03:11
Probably yes I called them and they said in 45days they will answer… thank you Simon God bless you
July 7, 2020 at 05:59
Hi Brit,
I am DV 2021 winner. AS 11xxx. I and my family reside in the United States. Holding valid visa till 2024, F1 and F2 respectively.
1. I have not submitted my DS260. When would be an appropriate time for it?
2. During Visa interview in Afghanistan, they have asked me, how you ever applied for Green Card in the United States?
My answer was No.
After one and half year, I found out that my family relative had already filled Form I-130; where, I was not aware of it. Is this has a negative impact on my DV or not?
Appreciate your assistance!
July 7, 2020 at 16:05
1. If you are adjusting status, the DS260 is an optional part of the process. YOu should learn about that before you do anything.
2. I don’t think so.
July 7, 2020 at 06:25
hi britsimon,
i was diagnosed with extra pulmonary tuberculosis 4 years ago and i was treated according to dots regime for six months. and was cured. and i dont have active tuberculosis now.
so my question is does this affect my lottery ? will there be any issue in medical process because of this ?
July 7, 2020 at 16:06
You may need additional time to get a clear medical result. Discuss with the panel physician even before you are close to being interviewed.
July 7, 2020 at 17:22
Sorry sir ?? Additional time ?? How can i do that ?
July 7, 2020 at 17:29
By starting early. Re-read my answer from before.
July 7, 2020 at 07:05
What are the chances of visa having case number AS000010600
July 7, 2020 at 16:06
The number is fine.
July 7, 2020 at 07:14
Is there a case going on today about dv2020
July 7, 2020 at 16:06
Huh?
July 7, 2020 at 08:15
Hello Simon, I have some doubts about the dlv of 2020, my mother won the lottery and was only interviewing, now with all this virus everything has been paralyzed and the deadline that kcc puts is September 30 … that date will be extended ? What if that date arrives and you don’t have an interview date? … is there a way to ask kcc to extend that deadline? thanks for your help
July 7, 2020 at 16:10
The deadline will not be extended. Cases not approved by then will lose their chance.
July 7, 2020 at 13:06
Hi Brit
For DS260, how to fill in father’s name if spelling for Arabic names are different between the main applicant’s passport & father’s very old hand written one, do I follow the hand written passport for father’s details & carry a copy from it for the interview or use my passport to fill in father’s name spelling knowing that the old handwritten passport has an extra middle name which I don’t have
N.B: The said old passport is the only document I have with the English spelling of my father’s name
Appreciate your advice
July 7, 2020 at 16:25
It’s just your father’s name. So – list it in English.
July 7, 2020 at 16:47
Hi Brit,
For DS 260 previous addresses, do we have to overlap months if you moved from country to another within the month or we can just mention the following month as a start of living in the new country?
I submitted my form with no months overlap, now We are submitting the main applicant form & I would like to know what is the ideal & if I have to correct what I have submitted already?
July 7, 2020 at 17:09
No overlap and no gaps is fine.
July 7, 2020 at 18:18
dear Simon,
What is the chance of AS11000 to be interviewed in dv2021, I am from Nepal.
Thank you for your help Simon
July 7, 2020 at 19:00
We have to wait and understand more about the selectee numbers before we comment.
July 7, 2020 at 18:43
Dear sir,
1.when should we expect selectees statistics to be published?
2.Does previous rejection in f1 visa affect the dv interview?
3. Will 3 months delay in processing affects last case numbers?
4. In your opinion, is AS-96** from Nepal, a safe case number?
July 7, 2020 at 19:01
1. In the next VB, or possibly the one after that.
2. Depends on why
3. Possibly
4. Don’t know yet.
July 7, 2020 at 20:15
in 2019, Visa officer rejected my f1 visa and he gave two reasons
1. i was unable to convince him that i would return to my home country after my study completion.
2. i was also unable to convince him that i had sufficient financial capabilities to study in US.
It was simple rejection, but my question is, will this rejection affect me for my dv interview?
How previous rejection will affect my dv interview?
Thank you Brit…
July 7, 2020 at 20:54
So point 1 is not relevent to an immigrant application. Point 2 is something that you will be required to prove (an I-134 being the best way)
July 7, 2020 at 23:59
Is there a possible way to ask or make a request to the KCC to extend the DLV 2020 deadline??
July 8, 2020 at 00:50
It is not for them to extend it or not. It would require a change in the law.
July 8, 2020 at 12:58
Dear Brit,
Under the given circumstances which have never happened in DV lottery history, the Law should be changed for DV 2020 i.e. strictly specified deadline 30.september 2020 should be extended.
Othervise, no Law can justify the existence of DV lottery onwards.

Hello, good question, which county are you from?
July 8, 2020 at 05:07
Hello mr. Simon,
I would like to know if it is technically possible for them to make interviews in oct/nov/dec, put cases in AP and issue visas in january (or whenever ban will be lifted) or would it be against the law.
I’m sorry if it was already asked before, I could not find it.
July 8, 2020 at 20:43
Technically possible, but unlikely.
July 8, 2020 at 06:32
Hi Mr Brit. I have made a mistake on the getting started page of my Ds 260 form. Instead of choosing “yes” for my interview location, I chose “no”. Please how do I edit it? I have not yet submitted and I have tried to correct it to no avail.
What do I do?
July 8, 2020 at 20:45
KCC will choose the place of interview (based on your home address) regardless of what you enter there.
July 8, 2020 at 06:59
KCC never extend the deadline for DV2020.They emailed me. We are unlucky (not interview) .
Embassy are closed still. Ban for visa issuing till December end.
What is this UNFAIR?
We have to dismiss our hopes .
No light for DV2020 winners.
July 8, 2020 at 07:11
@Channa, our hopes should not die yet. Let’s wait and see the outcome of AILA
July 8, 2020 at 07:05
But it is unfair because it has not depended on anyone, the pandemic has paralyzed the world and has changed things, it should also go into the changes at least make an extension of the deadline ?

Hi simon! I just have a question about welfare. the industry I work in is basically dead at the moment ( I’m in TV) I wondered if it would be ok to go on govt support (jobseeker in Australia) at the moment, or would that not be a good look as it demonstrates that I could be a public charge? I’m entitled to these govt benefits, have won the 2021 DV which is obviously up in the air anyway. The money would be very helpful but not absolutely essential for my survival. A lot of people are on govt benefits atm in Aus. Thanks so much!
July 8, 2020 at 20:46
That won’t affect your case in any way.
July 8, 2020 at 08:56
Hi brit
On ds 260 I stated I had married before and now divorced but because the marriage was a Africa traditional marriage I can’t provide divorced certificate. I would to know
1.Will kcc still demand for divorce certificate
2.Will I be disqualified if I don’t provide the certificate.
July 8, 2020 at 20:50
1. Possibly (you can provide an explanation to KCC).
2. Possibly. It depends on procedures in your country.
July 8, 2020 at 09:10
How many times can request for your day 260 to be unlock.

16 States File Support for Lawsuits Against Trump’s Immigration Ban
Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum announced Monday that Oregon has signed on with 15 other states to an amicus brief in the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in support of Washington in their federal lawsuit against the Trump Administration’s executive order on immigration, according to a press release from Rosenblum’s office.
BY TRIBUNE NEWS SERVICE | FEBRUARY 7, 2017
Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum announced Monday that Oregon has signed on with 15 other states to an amicus brief in the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in support of Washington in their federal lawsuit against the Trump Administration’s executive order on immigration, according to a press release from Rosenblum’s office.
A temporary restraining order was issued by a Washington state federal judge last week ordering a nationwide halt to implementation of President Trump’s executive order on immigration. The court is expected to decide in the next few days whether to uphold the trial court’s ruling after the federal government appealed.
“If the appellate court upholds the TRO, which we hope it will, it is likely to send it back to the trial court in Washington state for further proceedings,” Rosenblum said. “We want to be ready to help in any way we can to establish the permanent illegality of the executive order.”
In addition to Oregon, the amicus brief is signed by attorneys general from California, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts , Maryland, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Virginia.
Oregon and the other states outline the harm that the executive order has caused residents, and outlines that the states have standing to challenge the immigration executive order because of the harm the order inflicts on the states themselves.
In addition to joining the amicus brief, Oregon is in close coordination with the Washington attorney general, and will jointly ask the Washington judge to allow an amendment to add Oregon to the lawsuit — possibly as soon as Tuesday. The Washington complaint alleges that the President’s executive order on immigration is unconstitutional on multiple grounds, including religious and national origin discrimination.
“I am pleased that Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson has invited us to join their lawsuit against the federal government,” Rosenblum said. “By joining Washington, we will be able to share legal resources with our neighboring state and at the same time ensure that the voices of Oregonians harmed by the President’s executive order are heard.”
1) I got this from google and just thought to share here.
