Hi Mr.Brit
I’m a DV Visa holder after September
Thanks slot for your efforts and really you helped me a lot through this tough times
I traveled to USA on 27th Feb and made it to the CBP and got stamped all went good but after receiving the bags I received bad news from home which make have to return to home immediately so I was still in airport and I went to the departure and changed my returning ticket to same day and toke the flight back to home in same day I entered the USA and of my first stamp ?
So my question is
1- does this effect my visa or It may make me lose my chance in entering to USA again ?
2- what is the next step should I do now ?
Thanks
February 28, 2021 at 18:42
1. No.
2. You should return within the 6 month (guaranteed readmittance) or 12 month (normally fine) timeline.
February 28, 2021 at 21:35
Thank you again for advices
Regarding the social security number and the green card it will be mailed to the address automatically or should I do something ?
March 1, 2021 at 14:32
The GC is mailed to the address on the DS260.
The SSN will also be mailed, if you selected that option in your DS260.

Hi Brit what do you think about this?
March 2, 2021 at 19:57
I posted some thoughts on Twitter about it this am. Interesting interview, the answer about Schengen sucked.

Hello Brit,
The income of the person filling out the I-134 should be greater than that shown on the Federal Poverty Guidelines,
My question is the income is the gross income or the income after tax. Thank you.
March 1, 2021 at 08:35
Can you please answer my question? Thanks!
March 1, 2021 at 14:54
Gross.
February 28, 2021 at 18:14
BrittSimon, please help.
The skilled or unskilled labor question..
“Do you seek to enter the United States for the purpose of performing skilled or unskilled labor but have not yet been certified by the Secretary of Labor?”
If answered YES, one has to EXPLAIN.. to explain what exactly?
My spouse and I are skilled workers, with EU certified university diplomas, with more than 15 years of work experience in civil engineering and pharmacy, and we do plan to perform skilled (and in begging unskilled labor, if necessary) labor in US (if GC granted, hopefully).
Any advice, proposal?
February 28, 2021 at 18:43
Answer yes – answer “certification not required”.
February 28, 2021 at 18:49
Hi Brit,
Thanks for the unreserved support you are giving through your blog. I am DV21 selectee with case number AF10xxx, I submitted DS260 back in August and the case number was active in January’21 VB, but I have not received from KCC for document submission.
1- I would like to know if it is possible to submit documents to KCC without being asked for? if yes
2- what kind of documents are going to be submitted?
3- Is there specific guideline or instruction on format or naming of the documents.
Best,
Assab
February 28, 2021 at 20:06
I just posted an article/video a few days ago about this exact topic. Read that.
February 28, 2021 at 19:22
Hello Simon, hope you’re doing well.
My case number is 2021EU5xx. When KCC will sent the 2NL with specific details, does that mean the interview is offical now or still it will depend on embassy and conditions related to the pandemic?
February 28, 2021 at 20:07
It will be up to the embassy.
February 28, 2021 at 20:48
I believe that lawyers in Anunciato case should try to make our interviews as emergency, because looking at the circumstances we will have serious problems for the interview appointment. Hope I am wrong.
Thank you, best regards.
February 28, 2021 at 21:10
They are trying.
February 28, 2021 at 19:36
Good afternoon Sir ,
in Asia for this month the visa bulletin is 9000 cutoff are for April interview ,
1- does it mean that all the cases below 9000 should be ready for the interview if the documents are right?
2- what is the benefit to increase the visa bulletin if KCC can’t process the documents which are below the cutoff?
3- don’t you think that KCC was given a certain strategy about this problem or it will be very easy for DOS to order KCC not to increase the visa bulletin in a big way until it processes the documents below the cutoff?
4- Could you pl make an attempt in a certain way to talk to KCC to ask about this because it does not answer on our calls only by messages that are the same for most all us as they are autoreply?
5- suppose Sir the visa bulletin for May is 11000 in Asia , what does it worth if KCC does process the documents even for April visa bulletin (9000 for asia)?
Thank you Sir for answer in advance ,
February 28, 2021 at 20:11
1. Yes, although no cases have been scheduled yet.
2. AOS cases benefit.
3. It’s a feedback loop. We need interviews to be happening to see normal progression.
4. I have tried.
5. That is a repeat.
February 28, 2021 at 19:40
Hi Simon,
My number is 2021AS18xxx.
If my number is doesn’t shows up and the visa allocation number is CURRENT, should I re-apply for 2022/2023DV?
I received an email from KCC about the AoS.
Do I need to send the document to KCC?
Thank you
February 28, 2021 at 20:04
Please be more clear. Number questions.
February 28, 2021 at 20:32

February 28, 2021 at 20:59
Thanks Brit for all the help.
I’m a DV2021 selectee from AF region and I submitted my documents in October last year. I however moved to Europe 2 months ago after I was offered a job as a registered nurse. My case number is now current on the visa bulletin and I wish to attend the visa interview in my home country in Africa.
1. Please do I have to inform KCC or update my DS260 about my change in location?
Thank you very much.
February 28, 2021 at 21:12
Why inform them of your location change. Leave it as is.
February 28, 2021 at 21:28
Hello brit, I didn’t find the answer in FAQs
Kindly, help me.
I am a DV2021 winner with 20K Asia case number. And I didn’t submitted DS-260 yet because my daughter passport will be expire on 2 May 2022.
My questions is:
1- Should I submitting DS-260 immediately without renewal the passport ?
( take in consideration, the renewal process will take long time, not less than 3 month )
2- If I apply for renew the passport and in the same time, I submit the DS-260 it is necessary to open it again before the interview in order to add the new passport number? Or i can going to the embassy with the this two passport ?
Thank you brit??
March 1, 2021 at 14:26
1. Yes – there is no need to renew now.
2. Renew after submission, and keep proof of the old passport. Take both to the interview.
February 28, 2021 at 22:01
Hello sir… my wife is in the military. On the work section of the DS260 I entered it but there is a question that says “Have you served in the military?” And there is an end service date with some additional vital details, if I choose yes. What do you advice to answer that… it’s the only issue am facing before I submit
March 1, 2021 at 14:34
Use your own judgement. Be sure she can leave the military.
February 28, 2021 at 22:41
I am DV2020 winner,. On the day of the interview (Mar.2020), my visa was refused because of P.P 9983. Any probabilities of reconsidering my application?
March 1, 2021 at 14:34
Yes, if the Gomez case is won. Wait until April.
February 28, 2021 at 23:38
Hi Brit, I’m Dv 2021 selectee with CN AF45XXX. Please can I send my documents when I have been asked by KCC to submit it? Is it too early to send it now?
March 1, 2021 at 14:39
You can send them if you want.
March 1, 2021 at 01:30
Thank you Sir for your support to us all. May God bless you and your family.
My question is, is the schengen ban applicable to US immigrants that are US permanent residents holders?
Thank you in advance
March 1, 2021 at 14:41
No
March 1, 2021 at 15:33
Thank you
March 1, 2021 at 04:54
Hi Mr.Simon.Many thanks for your great efforts to help all of us regarding the lottery.I need your advice as a winner of Diversity visa in 2018 but because the travel ban as I am from Yemen I only sent the DS260 form but didn’t get an interview as the US embassy in EGYPT told me they will contact me if any thing changes regarding travel ban.As you know currently there is no travel ban so please tell me what to do.
March 1, 2021 at 14:44
It is too soon to know if cases DV2017 to DV2019 will get a chance. I suspect not. So – if that changes I will post about it on my site.
March 1, 2021 at 21:42
Many Thanks
March 1, 2021 at 05:36
Hello Brit,
Please I wish to ask that you forward to me the link from DoS that was published on the 2/24 telling us that President Biden has rescinded PP10014. I want to print it and take it along.
March 1, 2021 at 14:44
I posted the link in my recent article. Read that.
March 1, 2021 at 06:13
Hi Brit,
DV 2020, AF32k. I received ready to schedule email in February 2020 but my status in ceac website is ‘at NVC’.What happens for the 9k visas as the last batch to receive 2nl in AF was about case 31500. Is there any chance for an interview or my case to be moved to embassy?
March 1, 2021 at 14:45
We have to wait for the Gomez case to finish – probably in April.
March 1, 2021 at 08:13
Hi Brit,
Just for your information, email received from US embassy in Saudi Arabia. The second part is the reply for query regarding interview schedule
“Yes, we will accept the Absher police clearance. Once a case becomes documentarily-qualified, NVC schedules the appointment for our office in the order it becomes qualified. Your case is currently waiting in the queue based on its documentarily-qualified date.
In March 2020, the United States Government suspended routine visa services due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh has resumed routine visa services, subject to COVID-19 safety protocols that have affected our service capacity. We are unable to provide a specific date for your case at this time. There will be a significant and prolonged delay of many months in scheduling interviews for new cases from NVC as we work through the backlog created by the suspension of services. When we reach your case in the queue, NVC will automatically schedule your case and send it to our office, at which time you will be notified.
We regret the inconvenience caused. You can monitor the status of our visa operations on the Embassy website https://sa.usembassy.gov/visas/. “
March 1, 2021 at 14:53
Thanks. Seems like SA is doing well.
March 1, 2021 at 09:09
Hello Brit! Hope you are doing good!
Im about to send my scanned documents but my birth ceritificate includes the current address which is different from the one i completed on DS-260 (i live in a different city). Should i unlock the DS-260 to change that information?
Thanks in advance!
March 1, 2021 at 14:59
Use your own judgement.
March 1, 2021 at 10:44
Hi brit,
I am DV2020 winner. waiting for 2nl.
Can I change my DS260 forms now?
or
After the judge give final order for DV2020,can I change my DS260 forms for my family members?
March 1, 2021 at 15:00
You will have to wait for the final outcome.
March 1, 2021 at 11:15
Hi Brit
I’d like to make sure whether sending a not required document will delay my case. For example, I am single but I got a certificate and sent it to KCCDVdocument saying that I am officially single from 2010 to 2020.
March 1, 2021 at 15:01
No problem.
March 1, 2021 at 12:16
2021AF45***
Filled the Ds 260 in November 2020, yet to receive the further documents email.
My question is about police reports. I worked under a U.S military contractor in Iraq from 2008 to 2010. During my stay i was always in a US military camp never ventured out until i left the country, so i cant get a police report from Iraq.
How should i state it when the time for police reports comes?
March 1, 2021 at 15:02
Provide a letter to KCC explaining that.
March 1, 2021 at 15:30
Hi Britsimon,
We didn’t get email requesting supporting documents. When we inquiried KCC, they send generic mail saying.. “Your DS-260 has been processed. You should have received, or will soon receive, an email from the Kentucky Consular Center giving you instructions to complete in order for your case to continue processing.”
Then now we found out that we didn’t submit high school details in ds260. We unlocked and updated it. Then we got the reply from KCC that
“After sending documents to [email protected], you will receive an automatic reply to your email. If there are no attachments, the auto reply explains there are no documents attached to the email. If there are attachments, the auto reply explains we received your email and are currently processing your documents. Please allow time for processing of your documents”
What it means -can we expect a from email requesting supporting documents soon or they don’t need documents as we were in h1b last 6years in USA.
Thanks
March 1, 2021 at 16:44
They will need your documents. Send them.
March 2, 2021 at 02:09
Will they schedule interview if we send them docs without we been asked for? What is your prior experience on this type case?
March 1, 2021 at 17:14
Dear Brit;
Greetings!
I am a winner of DV 2021. I am in the process of renewing my wife’s passport because its expiry date is now less than six months.
Should I get my DS 260 reactivated and update the new passport number on the DS260?
With my best regards;
March 1, 2021 at 18:22
I would just take old and new passports to the interview.
March 1, 2021 at 17:59
Hi mr simon,
I’m DV2021 winner,
I have a ban from Turkey since 2014 the reason of the ban I have applied for UNHCR (any iraqian person have applied for this program and leave Turkey and back to iraq the turkish government give him a ban) so cannot enter again.
3 months ago I got turkish visa and i tried to enter to Turkey but i couldn’t enter due to the ban and they asked me to go back at the turkish border, AS A RESULT i got in my passport exit stamp and enter stamp from iraqi border without exit stamp and enter stamp from turkish border.
MY QUESTION : is that ban and what happened in my passport gonna effect on my chance or disqualify me to get DV visa?
NOTICE: I am not required to make turkish police certificate cause i spent just 8 months in Turkey and my residence has ended from JUNE 2014.
March 1, 2021 at 18:24
Probably no impact.
March 1, 2021 at 18:06

I would like to report something private

Hi mate
Thanks again for all of your assistance on this site, it’s very much appreciated.
I’m a full GC holder, valid through 2029.
I’m approaching the 12 month mark of having flown out of the USA due to the COVID situation. I’m currently in Australia where the vaccine rollout is slow, and flights to the USA scarce.
Q: Given these unprecedented times, have you seen any flexibility whatsoever on the 12 month (max) leave / re-entry rule? Is there a way to extend my time out of the USA until I’m vaccinated and can travel safely?
Thank you so much
J
March 1, 2021 at 18:26
It is too soon to have seen many cases doing this. If you believe it can shown to be unavoidable and you go over the 12 month absence you can apply for a SB-1 visa.
March 1, 2021 at 22:05
I have might missed your answer but I am asking my question one more time and I do apologise for that.
We are originally from Egypt but we live in Sweden, but both embassies and due to coronavirus and not intending to schedule interviews as they confirmed when I called the US embassy in Stockholm yesterday and he said literally that revoking the proclamationdoes not mean that the embassy will schedule interviews. You have clearly said that the interview location is related to the current adress as well we have only 5 months left for the interviews, and here is my first question:
1- In case the coronavirus restrictions still remains in Sweden and both countries continue acting very slow in vaccination can we choose for example US embassy in Paris, Abu Dhabi or anywhere else because both embassies in Sweden or Egypt are not scheduling interviews?
Our case nr is AF 8××× which is a low number, and in a normal year we should have had our interview in January or February 2021 and here I have my second question:
2- Based on the visa bulletin and that our number been become current in the fifth visa bulletin does that mean our interview should be in August or September 2021? Or we should expect to be be scheduled in July 2021?
Best regards
Victor
March 1, 2021 at 22:48
1. No, you should wait for now – things might change.
2. I can’t predict.
March 2, 2021 at 08:35
Hi Victor,
I’m on telegram, username jackadam0 if you want to talk 🙂
I’m in Sweden as well.

March 1, 2021 at 22:14
Hi Simon, quick question. Are airbnb long term rentals OK to use as my address in the US? Or should I actually rent a place?
March 1, 2021 at 22:50
Fine for living there but no good for the address you give in the DS260
March 1, 2021 at 23:25
Hi Brit,
I am a DV2020 winner, my visa expires on March 20th. Appreciate your time and effort helping us all on your page!
1) I understood from your other responses that flying over to the US and returning back is a good option to activate my green card. How much time is it reasonable to stay in the US at this first visit?
2) I will not be staying under the address provided in DS-260 but in a hotel, probably in a different state – any issues with that?
3) What’s the latest time I can change the US address in DV-260 (as I provided my friend’s address and she is not there at the moment – I will provide my other friend’s one)
4) After “activating” green card and returning back to Europe – what is the timeframe to permanently re-locate to the US without running the risk that the green card will lose its validity? 6/12/… months?
5) Will I be able to re-enter the US with the visa sticker and not yet having the card itself at hand?
Many thanks!
Michael
March 1, 2021 at 23:59
1. 10 minutes.
2. No
3. At the arrival airport
4. The lawyers fiercely recommend 6 months, but 12 months should not cause any issues.
5. Yes
March 2, 2021 at 23:21
Thanks for crystal clear answers. Maybe any thoughts on three more below?
6) Upon returning to Europe I will continue working at my company in Europe for a couple of months until making my final re-location to the US. Isn’t it an issue considering I will be seen by the US as the permanent resident of the US (in terms of taxation or any other legal considerations)?
7) If i due to some personal reasons do not make it with the final re-location (after having “activated” the green card) – what implications would it have? The green card will just expire after 12 months or anything else will happen/should be done?
8) Regarding changing the address for the green card delivery before I enter the US – how can I do it? Via KCC/Consulate/…?
Appreciate your reply.
March 3, 2021 at 03:12
6. No problem.
7. You should renounce your GC status – because otherwise you could owe US tax.
8. Last chance is at the POE.
March 3, 2021 at 09:10
7) via the Embassy/Consulate I assume?
8) And if I want to do it in advance – is it contacting KCC or Embassy?
Thanks
March 3, 2021 at 23:47
7. I don’t know.
8. At the interview or at the POE. That’s it.
March 3, 2021 at 09:58
7) Pay Attention, because renounces, maybe i’m wrong, but i think it means that you give up your GC, so you are not able to re-locate in the US anymore. Neither after 2 months nor after 2 days.
March 1, 2021 at 23:31
Hi Brit,
Greetings !!!
I am Eric (DV 2021 selectee) and have completed all documentation processing as confirmed by KCC. I am humbly waiting to be scheduled for interview by KCC.
Please, as we speak, KCC still insist that scheduling for DV 2021 program interview has not yet begun. Even upon PP10014 GONE.
Please, what is happening at KCC with them not scheduling interviews for DV 2021.
Thanks.
March 2, 2021 at 00:00
Please read my latest article about that.
March 1, 2021 at 23:40
hi Simon! i am from AF region with cn 46k.
Shall I send my documents and see what will happen?
March 2, 2021 at 00:00
Sure.
March 2, 2021 at 00:12
Hello Brit my father is DV1 and I am Dv3 can I travel separately knowing that we had not indicated to go together in the boxes on the DS?
If so, he must travel with the package given by the embassy.?
Thank you for everything.
March 2, 2021 at 19:34
I think I already answered you. He can travel before or with you. You should carry your own package if you enter after him.
March 2, 2021 at 00:39
Hi simon, there is thousands of posts here so im sure you much have answered these uestions somewhere else, so my apologies.
My case number is 2021OC0000105X
I still have not received my 2NL
The status on CEAC is still “at NVC”
I am from Fiji
I had sent all the required ducuments last year in August and received the KCC email saying that they are happy with the documents.
I am married and my husband is a British Army veteran, we sent his certificate confrming he left in good standing, unsure if they require so other sort of paperwork? I wonder if that is relevant?
Since we are current for april, does not receiving yhe 2nl yet mean we wont be interviewed for April?
Do some 2nls come the month before the month you are current?
If we dont get a 2nl by april.do we lose our ability to obtain a visa?
Are cases being interviewed?
Really appreciate your response and advice, Thank you.

March 2, 2021 at 19:36
Interviews are not being scheduled yet – hopefully they will begin sending 2NLs in a couple of weeks, and that would be for May interviews. You won’t “miss” your chance if it goes past your “current” month.
March 2, 2021 at 02:11
Hi Brit Simon,
Will they schedule interview if we send them docs without we been asked for? What is your prior experience on this type case?
Thanks
March 2, 2021 at 19:37
Why would I suggest that otherwise?
March 2, 2021 at 05:52
Hi I’m a dv2020 visa holder. I will be arriving at LAX airport on 4th March, but on same day will be catching another flight to another state. Do I need to fill in the Los Angeles traveller online form?
March 2, 2021 at 19:43
Please make your own enquiries.
March 2, 2021 at 07:49
I received an email on September 30, 2020 at 10:00 PM (local time).
I checked my number according to the email instructions. The interview was scheduled for 2:30 pm at the US Embassy.
The next morning, October 1, at 8:30 am, I went to the US Embassy to explain the situation. We waited for konsul until 11:50. They said there was no way to accept us.
KCC said he had to contact KCC because he had set the wrong time.
E-mail was received from KCC stating that our employee was at fault.
We were ready for the interview, which provided all the necessary documents, but it is unfortunate that we were harmed by the fault of others.
What should we do now?
Please help us
March 2, 2021 at 19:46
Wait for the outcome of the Gomez case.
March 2, 2021 at 09:51
Hello Brit,
I just called my embassy ( Eastern Europe) , and they told me that thay contacted KCC to let them know they are able to start interview people , and also they expect to start the interviews in april.
I hopw everything will start soon!
March 2, 2021 at 19:48
Thanks
March 2, 2021 at 10:46
Hi Simon,
Regarding documents translation, how do I submit them in the email to KCC? Should I add them in pdfs with the accompanying document eg. within
2021AS00012344_John_Doe_Birth_Certificate.pdf
Or separately named
2021AS00012344_John_Doe_Birth_Certificate_Translation.pdf
Or within all documents
2021AS00012344_John_Doe_All_Documents
Or it’s own separate documents
2021AS00012344_John_Doe_All_Documents_Translations
March 2, 2021 at 19:52
I have explained that in an article a few days ago. Look at that.
March 2, 2021 at 11:54
Good day Sir,
I am winner of DV2021 and I have received the doc request email.
In my country we are given two identical copies of marriage certificate. So my questions is how do I name the Marriage certificate? do I send two times or I send just once with the name of the principal applicant?
Also there was a mistake on the name of the principal passport at the time of entry and we I used it same as in passport but now I had to change the passport to correct the name. My question is how do I name the old passport and should I write the explanation mail as attachment or in body of the mail I will send?
Thank you for your time.

Don’t overthink this – just use your judgement.

Embassies are canceling the upcoming tourism dates in April and May to focus on the reunification and the lottery interviews
Does this mean that the interviews will go faster than usual?
March 2, 2021 at 20:21
Not necessarily. They are operating at reduced capacity, so the experience will vary by embassy.
March 3, 2021 at 01:20
I think it will go faster, since the ratio of non-immigrant visa to immigrant visa issuing is 10000000 to 500000 per year, that is 20:1. So if consulates only focus on immigrant visas they will go faster.

But as Simon said the two probable problems
1. The pandemic
2. The longer processing time of immigrant visa compared to non -immigrant visas

Staffing levels have been reduced. Don’t bank on it.

Hi Sir,
Thank you for your assistance to everyone,
Please,
I would like to know if the consular accepts BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOCOPIES of the original documents requested?
Thank you.
March 2, 2021 at 20:23
Normally they would, yes.
March 2, 2021 at 21:09
Hi sir,
Pardon me if I’m rushing ?
On the CEAC, that’s after completing the ds 260, when I’m I suppose to to complete or pay the IV FEES?
2.At what specific time would I need the affidavit of support form (1-134)
God bless you….
March 3, 2021 at 03:07

Hello Sir!
I am DV2021 winner EU6900. Received document scan email and completed on September 2020 but I have not received confirmation email yet. In my country below 10K nearly everyone got their confirmation email. Periodically I inquired KCC (6 times) and every time they send generic mail saying:
“Your DS-260 has been processed. You should have received, or will soon receive, an email from the Kentucky Consular Center giving you instructions to complete in order for your case to continue processing. After sending documents to [email protected], you will receive an automatic reply to your email. If there are no attachments, the auto reply explains there are no documents attached to the email. If there are attachments, the auto reply explains we received your email and are currently processing your documents. Please allow time for processing of your documents … ”.
They don’t reply if they received the documents I sent them. I want to send the files again. Would it be problem if I send them again. I also want to add a certificate about marriage (that I have not married). Sir, what would you advise me to do?
March 3, 2021 at 03:07
No problem to send them again.

Dear Britt,
I am DV2020 CN 15956,
Any chance to have the visa ??
March 3, 2021 at 03:08
Your number is meaningless without the region, but for DV2020 you have to wait until the Gomez case is finalized.
March 4, 2021 at 09:15
Sorry I am As15956
And I am Sudanese who’s living in Saudi
March 4, 2021 at 18:36
OK – well you will need to wait as I mention.
However, your case number is AS region whereas you said you are Sudanese. If you were born in Sudan and have no reason (such as marriage) to be charged to Saudi – then you would be disqualified anyway. So do you have a reason why you have an AS number?

I’m hoping to come here in the soonest possible time n see someone comment saying they have received 2NL

Dear Brit, I have a question and I need to get it out.
My wife lived for 1 year as an au pair in the United States, we never knew how to obtain a criminal record from the United States, do you know how to obtain it and present it in the interview?
March 3, 2021 at 03:13
No police certs required for USA. That is in the instructions you were meant to read.
March 2, 2021 at 23:50

March 3, 2021 at 03:14
I really can’t predict what cases will go current.
March 3, 2021 at 02:28
Hi Simon, thank you for all the great work you are doing!
I have a valid DV1 visa and I am planning to travel to the US through Amsterdam this Friday. I checked KLM guidance and it looks like they will board me on the plane (they know about no geographical restrictions for DV visas). However, an “average” CBP officer in Chicago CBP was not aware about the blanked NIE grant.
Do you think CBP in Chicago will know the rules by Friday?
Do you think it is OK to travel with a layover in EU?
Do you think even if there are any issues at the airports or CBP, they will eventually figure it out and admit me? They will not deport me due to their incompetence, right? 🙂
Do you know if anybody who recently travelled from/through EU and entered the US with no issues? What were the airports in the US and EU?
Thanks again!
March 3, 2021 at 03:17
1. Well you will have the info printed out won’t you.
2. Yes
3. You’ll be fine.
4. Lots of people are entering.
March 3, 2021 at 05:26
Cool, thanks for your reply! I’ll send you my legal fees in case I am detained :-p
March 3, 2021 at 23:43
As long as you make the same commitment if you are NOT detained, I’d take that bet!
March 3, 2021 at 05:01
Hi brit
There are 9k visas may be issued for DV2020 in future, according to Judge order,
1. 9k visa count only number of principal applicant or both principal applicants and family members?
March 3, 2021 at 05:28
The cap includes all visas issued, i.e. both principal applications and immigrating family members. However, lawyers are asking the judge for more visas than 9k!
Wait a few months until the final judgement to see how many visas will be available 🙂
March 3, 2021 at 23:42
Family members count too.
March 3, 2021 at 05:08
Hi mate
Bit of a left field one – have you heard anecdotal accounts of people not being able to access their i94 travel history? Mine seems to have completely disappeared from the DHS website (have tried multiple times / days / browsers etc). Seems quite odd… would there be a reason for this?
TIA, and for everything you do for this community.

No – never heard that.
