And it is excellent news – ALL REGIONS CURRENT (Only Nepal limited to 7100).

 

CURRENT for a region means they expect to have sufficient visas for all remaining demand, so all cases can be scheduled. Happy Days!!!!

 

OK – Now I will be asked about when the 2NLs will go out. Typically they go out 2 to 3 weeks after the VB. So – please don’t ask me about that!!

There are quite a number of cases that did not get scheduled for July interviews that should have been. That is unusual – and I would expect those cases to be scheduled for August. I also expect some of the busier embassies will have too many interviews for August, so some people might be delayed into September. We will have to wait and see if that happens.

 

By the way, the July VB also included the selectee numbers for DV2017 which is even lower than DV2016 (just under 84000 selectees). So – DV2017 can look forward to being current by the end.
