Just a quick note to calm some nerves.
I have received a lot of messages from people who have been scheduled for June interviews (and possibly May interview cases also, I am not certain) who have seen that their 2NLs on the ESC site have been replaced by their 1NLs again. This is almost certainly to do with the DV2020 rollout because that same site will be the place where 20 million people will be coming to check if they are winners in the latest lottery. That draw starts today, and the database that holds to 1NLs and 2NLs will have been updated for the new cases.
So – it does not mean anything bad about your case. Hopefully the 2NLs will be replaced within a few days, but those of you with June interviews will already know that date and can arrange medicals and so on. So, no need to panic!
Now – because of DV2020 the site will be overwhelmed by people checking for the next day or so (after noon USA Eastern time zone today, May 7). So – no need to worry about that either – it is expected.
Remember – RELAX, be patient. Don’t freak out….

My 2NL is also removed and i didn’t print it yet. But what really worries me is that the status on ceac website is still in transit, is it normal? I read here that usually it is for very short time. It’s must be in Cairo embassy while my region is EU, not AF. can it be the reason? or can the embassy reschedule the interview or cancel it after it is set? really not sure what to expect from this year’s DV process.thanks in advance for all your support and help.

We also encountered this issue as we are appointed for interview in June. Can you explain a little more how do you think it is connected to this years draw? Heyy.. I’m from Ethiopia too. My 2nl is never back until now. I haven’t printed it and I couldn’t go to the medical check up. So, I want to know if there is a possibility of the 2nl coming back and then disappear again in time(u may recheck it and confirm me if it’s still there).
I’ll have to hunt my 2nl and print it out before it gets disappeared.

May 2NL not yet back and my interview in few days ( 4 days ) , sadly I print it once to complete the medical examination . now for my interview day I don’t have a copy .
I know I should relax and wait but my Question is what I have to do if until before one day from our interview didn’t come back the 2NL ,

Hi brit! I received my 2NL which mentions beneficiaries: my husband’s name. My husband is not planning on immigrating with me he initially submit a ds260 then he unlocked it and did not resubmit it. Is that normal that his nane is still mentioned under beneficiaries? Does it mean he has to go to the interview? Should I email the embassy to inform them he is not immigrating with me therefore not attending the interview? Many thanks for tour help.
