This visa bulletin covers April interviews.

For those that are current, and have forms processed early enough, they can expect their 2NL in about 2 weeks from now. I know I am going to get a lot of people who will ask me this exact question – so let me say that again. 2NLs for April interviews will be sent in about two weeks time. They will include interviews for cases that have been made current in this latest visa bulletin AND backlog cases that were already current last month but the DS260 was submitted late.

I have to say – these are great numbers – higher than I expected in AF in particular. Nepal and Asia have also moved on nicely.

I am chuckling at EU and OC. They have got so close to being current without actually being current. OC for example only have 10 case numbers left that are not current. Imagine being one of those 10! EU only has 18 case numbers not current. So – essentially this means EU and OC are basically current already – for April interviews.

The backlog seems to be massively reduced now so progress from now on can be largely due to new VB numbers, not backlog.

Read this link if you are unsure how to read the visa bulletin.

For those that cannot understand why the pace has slowed down, please read this post from months ago that explained the backlog effect on the VB. People should also read my analysis posts over the last week or so, and catch up with the CEASC data that I have published.
