Hi. thank you for your video. well my brother case number is AF467^^ and he just received the confirmation of the email from KCC that his documents are processed.
Does that mean that he will be scheduled for the interview in Septermber ? or no? what are his chances?

It means someone who was selected, but has not moved to the next stage. That could be for one of several reasons:
1. They simply never checked their win.
2. They knew they won but decided against proceeding with the process and therefore never submitted the DS260.
3. They started the process of submitting the DS260 too late.
4. They submitted the DS260 but did not submit the documents in time.

I have a question about my visa,
I have recited three courier belonging three visas me and my two little child but when arriving at home my wife opened two of these envelopes knowing that it is forbidden to open it.
So I called for U.S. ambancy nairobi to ask if it can be sealed again he told me to send to DHL with an explanation and why she opened
my question is the how time to make to return the envelopes

I don’t really understand your question. You have to get the envelopes resealed – so do that.

You are really doing a great job with this blog.
Up to April 2019 I`ve been totally blind in terms of DV Process until I found your blog with all the info.
At beginning I have not been concerned about the backlog, but as time passed I realized it is more serious than I`ve expected.
Now I see that some people will miss their chance of a lifetime because of it (and probably their own lack of attention).
In my case I have submitted the documents in April 2019, DS260 in June 2018 and I am still waiting for my 2NL letter, that should be for August interview. A quick calculation shows April to August is 4 months, from June till September we have just 3 months left so for some people it may already be too late if they did not listen to your guidelines.
When I look at it now I am shocked that it could be me as well if I would never found this blog.
I hope people will have a good understanding of what you are trying to say to them after this video, I know it is not easy to deal with the DV process if you doing it first time, but from other side it may be the only time you will do it in your life.
So people hurry up!

That i submitted my decuments last may and kcc reply me with automatic then after three days they sent again that my decuments are recieved and currently processing ,again now this past week they sent me my ds260 has processed but they ask me to submite my listed decuments ,i also submitted it multiple times because they reply with auto reply then what should i do ?please help me

I’m AF39xxx , ds260 submitted last year and documents sent on 25may and again 13 june , and I got nothing but the automatic reply , I called the KCC 2 times in the last month and every time they tell me that my case under processing , when I ask them about the documents they tell me that they will consider them after they have processed my ds260 , I inted to call them again today
Is there a chance I’ll never get the ready for shceduling email ?

All numbers are current for DV2019. Once the cases are current, high case numbers don’t have to wait for lower cases numbers.

Hi mr Simon, Am dv2020 selectee, during the Entery I typed the 1st letter of my name wrongly instead of Roland Ackerson, I made it (Poland Ackerson) should I go ahead and submit the ds260 with the right name being Roland Ackerson since all my Certificate bares that name, and how are my chances going to be like?

It depends on whether that is truly the only mistake, or whether there are concerns of fraud. If you are from Ghana they are especially wary of people who often have this type of “mistake”. In any case, the ONLY way forward is to correctly enter the name on the DS260.

We got our password with visa.My daughter had Japannese scholarship and she now studies in Japan. in the August we will enter USA after that she will leave to (2-3 days after) Japan for study. She will come back every summer and winterbreak. My question is: does she have to apply I-131 and get travel documentation?

There is no formal appeal process, but if you feel you have some IMPORTANT evidence that could change their mind, you could contact the embassy. But they are not obliged to reconsider your case – you had your opportunity to show how you meet the requirements.

1- Do I wait until the KCC sends me an email asking for documents or do I send my documents directly without delay?
2- I have seen people asking you about sponsors, and ADVIT. Does it concern DV lottery cases too? And where can I find more info on that on your blog?
3- I have submitted my DS260 with an address of a friend in the US. The problem, another person submitted the same address, is there a problem if 2 case numbers submitted the same address?
