Understandably there are far fewer people working on scraping data. Many people left out this year probably don’t want to put in their effort – that is understandable. However, we need people to keep scraping. The CEAC data is critical to understand the progress toward the quotas, without that data we are guessing blind.
So – please take a few minutes and solve some capthchas on Xarthisus’ site https://dvcharts.xarthisius.xyz/login.html
Scraping is easy, but boring. If everyone reading my blog can go and spend 20 minutes solving captchas we can get an update to the data. We have not had an update for almost two weeks – so 20 minutes of your time shouldn’t be too much for me to ask….

I think most of us get interrested when we are still waiting for 2nls but let us not firget that this dv thing is not yet over; we still nees those data as Simon said. So guys wake up and scrap/solving captchas

BritSimon, Thanks for a great source of info. I have started solving capthchas, but do not fully understand how that helps with scrapping data. If you have time, could you let me know how this works. More than willing to help (and are helping) – just want to understand why capthchas and how solving them scrapes data.

There is a public system called CEAC wityh the case status of every case. You can check the cases one by one, but each time you check a case the system asks you to “solve” a CAPTCHA. A smart guy called Xarthisius wrote a program that presents those CAPTCHAS from their system and captures the case status, so each time you solve a captch on his site, one case is checked in CEAC by his program.
