I have sent several emails to KCC, to inquire about DS-260 status. same reply ” forms are received, currently processing, allow several weeks to process…..”.
I am confused, as me primary applicant (04 foreign tour – 3-5 days – NO Middle east, no any complicated work, etc.) spouse (02 foreign 3-5 days- NO Middle EAST, no work exp), and 02 children less than 5 years.

However, this was before they removed the document procedure. Now that the entire process has become much quicker, should I worry that 2NLs are being sent out for February while I still haven’t received mine for January (the CN being EU90xx)? Is it worth contacting KCC again in the current context, even if they had replied a month ago, before the document procedure removal?

I followed your advice and contacted KCC again. I specifically described my concern – only to get the following general info (which I already knew). Here is what they replied:

DV2021 ended. If you were not in the lawsuits, then your hope is almost gone. The only remaining chance is the legislation, but that has a small chance of being passed.

Pls can u clarify this for me.i learnt dv 2020 d order from court was for dos to submit the number of visas issued starting from January 11 and then every 60 days and also d appeal does not stop d government from issuing d visas unless stay of execution. OC11xx here, I just received my 2NL scheduled for February (I just recently moved to Asia from NZ). I know once the green card is issued I have to enter within 6 months. As I wasn’t expecting to have an interview so early,
1) What is the max time that I can be away from the US (after entering within the 6 months)?
What happens in the worst case scenario that after staying for a few years we want to move back to NZ? Will we have to:

My income qualifies to support the three of them. Do they usually give them a hard time at the embassy interviews due to being retired with not a lot of cash in bank? Just an FYI for you to show they are looking at emails super fast. I sent an email on 1/4/22 1511 to KCC to inquire about whether they were still processing 2022EU00010xxx 260 form since we have never received any emails from them since June when we turned in our 260. They replied 1/5/22 0616 that they were currently processing and had received the 260. They said to allow several weeks for processing. Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing. Once they finish processing they will send me an email giving me instructions so the case can continue processing. Our case involves 1 applicant and two derivatives. Thank you BritSimon for everything! I never know when you are doing a live session until after. I have to figure out how to get notified do I can join live.

The exact process depends on the timing – but in the first 2 scenarios you would arrange it with the embassy to add a DS260 for the child, update yours and so on. In the third scenario you can actually enter the USA without a visa for the child and the baby will be processed automatically at the POE.
