Hi Brit,
I’m born in South Africa, grew up in Namibia. Lived all my life in Namibia. Still living in Namibia.
Never lived in South Africa. I have an eligible Namibian passport.
Will I be able to apply for the DV lottery. And if so, when can I apply for the 2022 dv lottery.
Regards,
Dirk Lochner
Namibia
August 23, 2020 at 21:14
You can apply. It opens October 1.
Your country of chargeability will be South Africa.

I applied for Dv lottery 2021 as a married couple. I have been selected..
(A)1.i have decided to go alone and she will join me later. Will she join me to my interview?
2. I’m i suppose to submit her documents in addition to mine to KCC when I’m ask to submit it by KCC?
(B)
1.What if i decide she will not join me at all…. Will she still have to go with me to the interview..
2.Will her documents has to be submitted to KCC..?
(C.)
Is it good to ask KCC to unlock your case for correction?
August 25, 2020 at 04:33
A. Read this first – https://britsimonsays.com/faq/dv-process-versus-family-based-immigration/
1. Not usually – but be sure you are ready for the more expensive complex process to bring her later.
2. Again – no.
B. Same answers.
C. Corrections avoid denials, so yes.
August 25, 2020 at 07:33
I have been ask to submit my documents to KCC, from my questions, do i i ha to submit marriage certificate? Or just my documents and ignore anything about my wife for now… ?
August 25, 2020 at 22:39

Hello Simon!
I had already filled out my ds260 with my marital status being single. And, now I am planning to get married coming December.
1- Is this going to make any impact on my processing?
2- What if I get my 2NL letter before getting married (hoping the court blocks the immigration ban)? Will I be able to adjust my marital status after receiving 2NL letter?
August 23, 2020 at 18:21
hello brit, when i send the email to get unblocked on ds 260, does the kcc send me an instant email? and then the one that tells me to unlock the ds 260? regards
August 23, 2020 at 21:22
You ask to unlock, then they send an email when they have done it.
August 23, 2020 at 21:21
1. Well, when you marry you will add your spouse, so yes, that could affect it.
2. You should do all you can to delay your case until after you marry. So – hold back your DS260 or documents.
August 24, 2020 at 02:16
Sorry to disturb you again ! But I already submitted my DS 260 as single (marital status), and waiting for the email for supporting documents. What I wanted to know is, my case no. being around AS6.5k, Is there any risk that I would be denied a VISA ? just because I adjusted my status from single to married?
August 25, 2020 at 04:28
People get married. It’s ok.
August 23, 2020 at 19:27
Hello brit so first thanks for everything! Second how are the lawsuits going ? Thanks for everything!
August 23, 2020 at 21:24
We are waiting for the August 27 hearing.
August 23, 2020 at 21:32
hello brit when i request that they unblock my ds 260 they send me this email instantly i don’t know why
The Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) has received your email. This email address, [email protected] is for case-specific Diversity Visa inquires only. If you would like to check the status of your entry, please do so at www.dvlottery.state.gov/ESC. This website is the definitive means of determining whether or not you were selected for possible further processing. You must see a notice that is addressed to you by name as proof of selection to process further in the DV program.
For inquiries about specific cases, please ensure that you have included your case number, first and last name, and date of birth with your inquiry. If this information is not provided or is inaccurate, KCC will be unable to process
August 23, 2020 at 22:16
It’s an automated email response. Ignore it and wait.
August 23, 2020 at 21:40
Hello Simon,
Two questions :
1. Has there been any new visa bulletin announced in this month? If yes, was there any information that could be relevant for DV2021 winner. I tried going through KCC website to read the bulletin but couldn’t understand how to interpret the information.
2. Assuming you are granted the DV after the interview, do they give you sometime(say few months) to migrate to US or is it like you have to move to US immediately say within 1-2 weeks??
Thanks,
Dharti
August 23, 2020 at 22:15
Sorry – but those questions show a complete lack of effort on your part. Read the FAQ.
August 24, 2020 at 19:11
You have 6
Months to move to US after you get receive your visa
August 25, 2020 at 13:42
Correction, you have 6 months to enter US after your medical exam 🙂
August 23, 2020 at 22:23
Hi Mr. Brit, plz i need ur advice about to do, i am DV 2021 & my visa # is in Oct. 2021 and i am inside US, so i want to AOS, i entered US as B2 visa last year and i requested an extension & yet i didn’t get the decision till now, can i start my AOS in Oct. 1, 2021 even i didn’t get it at that time? also, till now i didn’t submit my DS 260 as i heard that its not mandatory if i am going to AOS, plz advice, tnx.
August 25, 2020 at 00:12
I generally don’t answer DV AOS questions and instead refer people to the link below.

August 23, 2020 at 23:16
Hi Simon,
I have gone through your analysis for visa bulletin for DV 2021.
For Oceana(OC) region your analysis says there will only be roughly 820 visas issued.
My case number for DV 2021 is OC25XX.
I have been asked by KCC to submit documents.
Considering there will only be 800 odd visas issued and that my case number is so high, is it even worth going thru all the processes to gather and submit the docs?
Thanks,
DR
August 25, 2020 at 04:22
Well that will be up to you. I cannot be 100% certain of what will happen, for all the reasons I stated.
August 23, 2020 at 23:49
Good evening I am selected dv21 Af3xxx. I have not yet completed my ds260 since I am getting married in October. and after My marriage I will fill in my ds260 indicating I am married but I will not go with my wife to do the interview. Is it a problem during the interview to deny me the visa?
August 25, 2020 at 04:25
No. Why will you not take your wife? Doesn’t she want to move to the USA with you?
August 25, 2020 at 14:39
I wanted to integrate my wife and travel With her the problem is that my sponsor (the one who will send me the affidavit documents and the like) says he will not be able to take my wife and me in charge, that’s why I preferred to go alone to the interview
August 25, 2020 at 23:09
Really bad thinking. Once you interview, you have almost 6 months to move. So – interview togather, then you go to the USA and get a job and so on and your wife can join you once you have settled down (but within the 6 months).
August 24, 2020 at 03:25
Hello Simón, thank you very much for your help, I have a question and excuse me to ask you about something that I know that I clarify in your video but I do not speak English and I did not understand many things so I appeal to your kindness so that you briefly explain to me what opportunity I have being Cuban and having a case number SA3xxx to be called for an interview and receive a green card thank you very much.
August 25, 2020 at 04:29
You will have to wait and see what happens. You may have a chance, but it is too early to know for sure.
August 24, 2020 at 03:44
Dear Simon
Does thyroid disease make it difficult to get a visa?
Thank you
August 25, 2020 at 04:33
No. Always check the FAQ please.
August 24, 2020 at 04:52
Dear Simon, It’s a pleasure.
I was pre-selective on DV-2021 (if I’ve lucky, I could have an interview next year alone).
However, I would like to my parents could apply to DV-2022. I’ve 2 question about it:
1. Do you think that this apply (from my parents) could affect to my interview next year?
2. If there is no problem with my interview, It’s necessary to add my data in my parents’ application DV-2022?
Thank you very much for your attention.
Have a great day.
August 25, 2020 at 04:34
1. No
2. Only if you are under 21.
August 24, 2020 at 05:09
Hello sir,
1.I was rejected for f-1 (student visa). Does this affect my dv interview? (i think i was rejected because of my low confidence and insufficient scholarships)
lots of love brit!
August 25, 2020 at 04:35
No
August 27, 2020 at 10:51
Hi Brit,
I’m a dv2020 winner, I went to USA alone, I got the green card and SS, my wife and kids visa expired due to pandemic, I sent many emails to the embassy in Jordan, also last time a made a reservation for a flight to US for my family, they called me and they told me that there is no way to reissue the visa for my family members.
What you think?
Regards, Slwme
August 27, 2020 at 21:57
They are incorrect and I suggest you ask again. Other embassies HAVE re-issued visas.
August 24, 2020 at 06:50
Hi Simson,
Has Joe Biden has commented his opinion towards travel ban imposed towards few countries from 2017 on wards? Or is there is a possibility that Joe being elected and he still keep travel ban as it is?
August 24, 2020 at 08:14
Hi Brit, If you win US lottery and you didn’t go for the interview that year, how many years will the case number take to expire?
August 25, 2020 at 04:40
No years at all – it ends at the end of the fiscal year. So – DV2021 have until September 30th, 2021. That’s all.
August 25, 2020 at 04:37
In general his statements have been more welcoming of immigrants and less biased against people for the sake of their religion or skin color. That’s all we know right now.
August 24, 2020 at 09:40
Dear Simon
Many thanks for all your incredible help. I find your videos and blog posts comforting and elucidating. I was panicking when I got the letter, but am more subdued now.
1. My case number is 2021AF00048XXX. What can I know by that? I am in South Africa. I think I get the drift, I am on the border of likely and unlikely to be cut off before I get an interview.
2. Due to a coronavirus lockdown, my government (South Africa) is not renewing passports. My passport expires this month. Should I wait until the lockdown ends and I can renew my passport (not knowing when that will be)? Or should I submit my DS-260 with my current/expired passport? What is the deadline for submitting the DS-260? I hear there isn’t a deadline, but there must be right?
I am also in the process of getting married so my boyfriend can go with me to the USA. I am holding the DS-260 until we get married. Is there anything else I should know regarding the marriage? My biggest fears currently are that I miss some deadline or I am cut off as I have a high number.
Thank you
Kate
August 25, 2020 at 04:42
1. Yeah sort of – wait and see until we know more.
2. You could submit in Feb/March/April and still be OK – so get a new passport, and get married first.
August 24, 2020 at 10:33

Dear Simon, I appreciate you effort to help all of us. My case number is 2021EU5XX, am I too late to submit DS 260? And should I fill it myself, or pay an agency to help me do so? Thank you, regards.
August 25, 2020 at 04:44
You should be able to do it yourself.
August 24, 2020 at 13:58
Hi Simon, thanks for all the work you do, I have won the 2021 lottery and am wondering that with all of the uncertainty at the moment should I enter again in Oct for the 2022 draw?
Cheers
August 25, 2020 at 04:45
Yes, everyone should.
August 24, 2020 at 15:36
Hello Brit,
Thanks for the answer to my previous questions. We won the DV2021 as a Family and completed the DS260 form already, is it advisable for us to take part in the DV2022 ?
Thanks
August 25, 2020 at 04:49
Yes
August 24, 2020 at 17:12
Dear Brit!
Please help me to figure this out! We got engaged this july and planning for our wedding function on December. We are living separately until December and hope to submit the form this month end.
Your advice is seeking for ??
1. Is it ok to fill and submit our form now with two addresses since we ara living two separate addresses until December ?
2.will it be a bad impact when we unblock the form in December and update the address according.
3. If any suggestion, pls help!
Thank you!
August 24, 2020 at 17:31
And one more clarification Brit,
there wont be any marriage registration again in December. We registered our marriage in July and only a function will be held in December.
August 24, 2020 at 21:25
Dear brit,
In case than the Ban is removed and the interview are scheduled also the visa are approved :
1. Can we travel to Usa without problems( i am not including the Schengen Countries)
2. When Arrived in Usa can we apply for Green Card, and can the green card be issued?
Regarda
Esi
August 25, 2020 at 04:57
1. Yes
2. Yes
August 25, 2020 at 04:50
You are not married yet – you cannot enter as married until you are actually legally married. So – delay submission until you are married.
August 25, 2020 at 07:25
Dear Brit,
We have already received the marriage certificate to show our marriage is legal. only the party will be held in December, because we are waiting for our siblings who are stuck in abroad due to the pandemic.
August 25, 2020 at 22:39
OK – so your questions.
1. Married people normally live together. So – you need to decide how to handle that.
2. Accurate forms are always better, corrections are common.
August 24, 2020 at 21:40
Hi Simon, I want to ask you please With the release of statistics for dv 2021 and about 132.404 were selected through your experience in the lottery, is it possible for a second draw for dv 2021 to take place in September, like what happened in dv 2017 ???
August 25, 2020 at 04:57
No – there are too many selectees already
August 25, 2020 at 00:48
Hi Brit. Could you please explain what no response rate means in the graph, and I’m going over your tables, what is NVC status for visa
August 25, 2020 at 05:12
Have a look at this post:
https://britsimonsays.com/dv2016-analysis-response-rate/
August 25, 2020 at 04:09
Hi Brit Simon,
Good day to you.
My marriage was annulled (not divorced) after being selected, what would be my marital status then be in the ds260?
Would it be single, or divorced? If divorced, can you explain to me why? As in my country, annulment reverts your status back to single, and only a divorce would revert it to divorced
August 26, 2020 at 03:28
Hi Brit Simon, you missed me out.. hoping to hear your opinion on this
August 26, 2020 at 19:34
You don’t need my opinion. You know laws in your country better than I do – I don’t even know your country.
August 27, 2020 at 02:48
Thanks appreciate the response, but, is it in accordance with my own country’s laws, or in accordance with the US laws in terms of how to declare my marital status? In the US, does an annulment revert your status to single, or to divorced? Sorry I didn’t mean to be rude, I truly appreciate your opinion.
August 27, 2020 at 03:59
mostly your countries own laws. Hence my answer.
August 25, 2020 at 04:29
Hi Brit
If my document is in official language of my country do I need to translate to English?
August 25, 2020 at 08:45
Follow the embassy guidelines where you will be interviewed: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/list-of-posts.html
August 25, 2020 at 05:52
My family is a winner of dv2020 and we were interviewed on the 16th of March in the ocenia region. We got our package on the 19th March. Our visa is due on the end of this month. We have arrived in the US on the 13th of August. I am a silent follower of this website. All my questions were clarified by reading through it.I want to thank you for reaching out to help us.You have done a great job and you are well versed with the system. My advice to people that have got visas don’t extend try your best to come within the valid 6 months. We are currently waiting for our Green Card and Social security number.Brit Simon may God richly bless you.
August 25, 2020 at 05:58
Great to hear, congratulations SP.
Would you be willing to tell us about your experience on arrival at the port of entry? your interview with the customs officer for activation, etc please?
August 27, 2020 at 00:58
On arrival at the port of entry the customs officer did not ask much but simple questions. Also they took our finger prints and photographs.Everything went smoothly. It took us about 20mins because there was four of us.Just be yourself and answer honestly.
August 25, 2020 at 06:04
congratulations, kindly tell us more about what u went thro at the ports and how u managed..
August 25, 2020 at 08:06

August 25, 2020 at 22:43
1. Write your full legal name to match your passport.
2. Doesn’t matter
3. You mean you now have two children? So – add the new child to your case – its in the FAQ.
August 25, 2020 at 10:18
Dear BritSimon,
In Part 03, Q 38 of i-134 mentioned that ” I [ ] intend [ ] do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in Part 2. “(The DV Applicant and family)
Will it negatively impact to the applicant at the interview if this ticked to “do not intend” by the sponsor?
August 25, 2020 at 22:49
Not normally.
August 25, 2020 at 11:49
hello sir
I am very thankful you are helping us here, may God bless you!
i have questions i tried to look if its in fAQ but i cant get there
#1,after we enter US,how long does it takes to be permanet resident and have green card?
#2, after getting the green card, how can one bring spouse to us? What are the requiremnents ? And how long will it takes ?
#3, i have won dv 2021 with case number AF161*** i already sumbitted ds260 in june.i was planning to get merried on coming october but in the middle the dv is out and we decide to postponed our marriage because at first when i fill dv2021 i said single cause i wasnt merried.so what i did is to fill my ds 260 as single.and now if i am going to get in US,can i come back after geting my green card and marry and then take my spouse?
Thank you
August 25, 2020 at 22:51
1. You would be a permanent resident immediately. The plastic GC takes up to 3 or 4 months to arrive.
2. You can sponsor a spouse via an I-130 process – that takes around 2 years.
3. You are making bad decisions. Better to marry first, process as married. READ THE FAQ.
August 25, 2020 at 12:21

Hello sir will there be a draw this year. since the virus have bring about a lot of travelling sacntions
August 25, 2020 at 23:04
Are you asking about a second draw – no.
August 25, 2020 at 12:43
Hi BritSimon,
How do I remove my child from the DS-260 Immigrant Visa Electronic Application?
I no longer plan to bring him with me to the United States because
he is a small child and I want him to stay with his mom. How should I proceed?
August 25, 2020 at 23:05
You cannot remove the child. Simply don’t submit the DS260 for him, or if you have already, then email KCC and let them know your decision.
August 25, 2020 at 13:12
Hey Brit, I hope you are doing well. Sir I would like to get a clarification from you regarding Educational requirement. When I applied the DV lottery back in last year, I did so with a degree and now am filling the DS260, so my question is that sir is it a must to add my secondary certificate as I lost it and will they ask me if I did not put it?
August 25, 2020 at 23:06
You should be prepared to show the High school documents, yes.
August 25, 2020 at 14:31
Dear Simon
How can a sponsor fill the I-134 form and send it to a selectee ?
Should it be printed , filled using pen and then scanned to be sent or it’s possible to be filled online?
August 25, 2020 at 15:15
Hi Brit there is one thing that I do not understand the winners of the raffle should take the form I 134 where? At what point do they ask you for that? Is it necessary for everyone to present it?
August 25, 2020 at 23:10
At the interview.
It is asked for often, but not always.
August 25, 2020 at 23:08
Email.
August 25, 2020 at 16:46
August 27 is coming. Good luck guy’s! Pray pray pray….
August 25, 2020 at 17:56
Good morning Simon. I am DV2021,
I already sent my DS 260 and documentation.
I also received an email from KCC informing me that I am now ready to schedule an interview. Being in this instance, I have not yet been asked for the i-134 form in any mail.
1 When would be the moment to present it?
2 How is it that they request it, “for example an email or another form”?
3 Don’t we have to change anyway even if they don’t ask for it?
Greetings and thank you very much
August 25, 2020 at 18:07
3 Don’t we have to send anyway even if they don’t ask for it? I meant send.
Sorry for the sloppy
August 25, 2020 at 23:14
1. At the interview.
2. See 1
3. They may ask for it, they may not. If they do – show it.
August 25, 2020 at 18:03
Good afternoon sir,
When supporting documents is submitted and suppose we receive an email about satisfied document from KCC ,and everything is ready until your number becomes current , after that who will decide the date of the interview the kcc or the embassy after it received all the file of the winners from KCC ? In other way does kcc impose a date for interview or embassy does ?
Thank you Sir
August 25, 2020 at 23:14
KCC schedules cases.
August 25, 2020 at 18:08
My mom has won DV2021 but her case number is too hight and we need to bring her to the US as soon as possible. Is it possible to change status from Diversity Visa Lottery to Immediate Relative Visa or can i do this two immigrate processes simultaneously? We have already submitted DS-260 for DV2021.
Thank you
August 25, 2020 at 23:15
You can start a different process – both can continue.
August 25, 2020 at 18:49
Hello Mr Brit,
Here is my CN: 2021AF00046xxx / i live in France but my country of chargeability is Morocco.
I have a few questions for you please:
1- You said in your latest videos that the interviews take A little more time in Africa than the other Regions (something like that). What if I live in France ? Is the delay in Africa has an impact on my possible interview date that would take place in Paris?
2- You also said that for Africa, 20K, 30K and 40K « are clearly safe », but from 50K it’s starting to be a bit more risky. What about 46xxx ? I mean I’m in the 40Ks but still not that far from 50Ks. What do you think ?
3- I am studying aeronautical engineering. I havent got my diploma yet (probably next year). So in highest degree obtained I put « some university courses ». Is that alright ? (When I get my diploma it will be equivalent to a master’s degree)
4- I have a J1 Visa that I never activated because I couldn’t go to the USA due to COVID19. My internship was cancelled. Would that be an issue to have a visa In my passport that was never activated?
Thank you for everything you are doing.
Wish you all the best

1. Still goes by AF numbers.
2. I think I was clear.
3. You don’t just jump past a Bachelors to Masters, so I think there should be some qualification on the way, but “some university courses ” is ok.
4. No

I can’t really advise you how to move, and whether to bring the kids immediately or not. It depends on your abilities to find work, your resources and so on.

Hi Simon,
I want to confirm something about the recent data analysis you posted. I believe I heard it in one of your videos, but I can’t find it anymore. Did you say that if, for example, a selectee with a case number 2021EU1000 specified that they are married and have two kids while entering into lottery, then the spouse and kids will be automatically assigned case numbers 2021EU1001, 2021EU1002, and 2021EU1003. In other words, do case numbers already take into account the selectees + their derivatives?
Best regards,
Andrew

one case number is for the selectee and all derivates. They do not get those extra case numbers.

The Global Cap for Nepal is about 3830 visas and likewise, there are 3801 selectees for Nepal. Based on this fact, Can’t we PREDICT that the all cases in last 2 months will go current (if everything goes well after Jan or law suits wins)?
2. Assume As-10,000 is the highest case for Nepal and similarly, srilanka has As-25000 highest case. Can we compare CN from two different country to analyze the low, moderate, and risk CN?
August 26, 2020 at 02:48
1. No. Marriages and births.
2. Watch the next video.
August 26, 2020 at 03:06
i thought marriages and births will be neutral by the number of rejected cases.
Please sir, make detail video for nepal and its case numbers. We Nepalese have so many confusions about CN.

I will be posting a new video shortly.

Dear Brit
Can you please do more in-depth analysis on Asia, please predict which month when quota for the region or particular country will be reached? Or CN being max’ed out?
August 26, 2020 at 19:35
I am about to publish a video that will help – BUT this is a long process so prepare to be patient.
August 26, 2020 at 02:37
Dear Brit, according to your experience and reading to our plaintiffs and motion brief,if we win the case that I’m sure we will win,do u think it’s enought time for us who had interviews in March to be rescheduled?
Thanx in advance!
August 26, 2020 at 02:43
How can anyone guess that?

Hi Simon,
I am DV2021 from Africa, I applied for a Canadian student visa last year 2019 through an agent but apparently he was a scam and it cost me a lot. He submitted recycled papers on my behalf to the embassy and finally am inadmissible to Canada for 5 years, will this lead to a visa denial if I continue with the process. My case number is 53*** I haven’t submitted my DS 260 because I am unable to answer the following questions
1.Have you ever sought to obtain or assist others to obtain a visa, entry into the United States, or any other United States immigration benefit by fraud or willful misrepresentation or other unlawful means?
Yes No
2.Have you ever been removed or deported from any country?
How do I go about this kindly help.
August 26, 2020 at 19:46
You should answer these questions yourself – but understand Canada is NOT part of the USA.

Hi Brit, so after you’ve received a little bit of data what do you think of cut-off and what numbers could be safe for Ukraine? I actually posted your survey form to a couple of groups: post Soviet Union and Ukrainian. I clearly understand that you don’t know for sure, but at least you can express some of your suggestions
August 26, 2020 at 19:49
It looks like neither Ukraine nor Uzbekistan is limited – which would be the first time in years. But the passport changes probably caused that outcome. Russia is limited, but I suspect they are limited only at the 38/39K range – meaning just below the regional max number anyway.
August 26, 2020 at 20:03
Could this mean that my 23,5k case is ok??
August 26, 2020 at 07:59
Hi Simon,
Below question is bit confusing since I saw you suggest to another friend of ours (tried but can’t find which topic it was) to list WhatsApp, although the form doesn’t require that.
Information about your presence on any other websites or applications you have used.
There is a clarification statement:
This does not include private messaging on person-to-person services, such as WhatsApp.
Now:
1. Is it wrong/god to list such applications as: Viber, Skype, Zoom etc. because they are also private person-to-person messaging services?
2. Does your forum / website counts as social media platform that we are using?
Thanks.
August 26, 2020 at 19:50
1. Same type of apps as Whatsapp.
2. No
August 26, 2020 at 09:48
Hello simon.
Hope u r doing fine.
Just a question. In the selectee number analysis u mentioned that there is around 8300 visa for Asia region although Asia is the biggest county. So my question is: the number 8300 visa is accurate or just a prediction?
If its accurate this means Asia is the only region with quadruple selectee than the visas number since in africa there is 80000 selectee with 27000 visas and same goes for europe.
Thx in advance
August 26, 2020 at 21:11
I think you are talking about the quote – around 8600. That is pretty accurate – so yes there is a large over selection BUT there are many selectees affected by the travel ban (Iran, Yemen and so on). So – if Trump wins the election, the travel bans may mean those people can’t process their cases, BUT if Biden wins, he may remove the travle ban and the previously banned people will get a chance. I created a video about this topic.

Dear brit.
There is around 25000 selectee in Asia with 8600 visas. According to ur experience in the past years, whats the percentage Of selectees that goes further with application in Asia. And whats the percentage of ppl that get disqualified after interview? Since its mentioned on the DV website that they pick much higher number of ppl than needed cause 55% of the selectee dont meet the criteria or dont proceed further with application. So if 55% r disqualified or dont go further this leaves us with around 11000 selectee in Asia that will go further (including the muslim ban countries) And with the cut off for nepal and iran this will leave us with a high possibility of getting current for all other countries am i right or i misunderstood something?
August 27, 2020 at 21:51
You didn’t really misunderstand something, but your number is optimistic. We have to wait and see what happens.
August 26, 2020 at 10:09
And even if we remove the holes we still have 25000 selectee in Asia for 8300 visas which is much higher percentage than any other region.
August 26, 2020 at 11:16

August 26, 2020 at 12:10
Hi Brit, this is a small question about sponsor.. if my sponsor has 3 members in family n the FB applicant has 4 members ( including d member) all together 7 people, so the sponsor’s household size count as 3 or 7???
August 26, 2020 at 21:18
7
August 26, 2020 at 12:13
Suppose, Aug 2021 VB went current, will all selectees can be interviewed by September?
August 26, 2020 at 21:18
They only make the region current if there are enough visas for remaining demand.
