Hello Sir, KCC sent me the email asking for my documents after submitting DS260. Then I unlocked my DS260, so shall I send my documents immediately after resubmitting Ds260 ? or wait for another email for documents ? Thanks.
December 5, 2020 at 14:21
No need to wait to be asked again.

Hi Brit, with ur past experience n knowledge, which region has more holes? In ur videos u hv mentioned that Asia has actual cases of 14000. Hope u gt that figure by no of selectees/ derivative rate. So the derivative rate is similar for each year?? If we take Asia region in which area they have more holes? Low , medium or high case no’s ?
December 5, 2020 at 14:28
At this point we have to assume the derivative rate is similar to previous years. It won’t be exactly the same, which is why I can only estimate the cases based on the known selectee count.
For Asia region Holes increase after Nepal and Iran are exhasuted.
I explain the case numbers in detail here:
https://youtu.be/0x379jYnbyU
And in greater detail showing exactly where the holes will be here:

Hi Brit!
Any thoughts on Young vs. Trump hearing that took place yesterday (December 4)? Is it able to somehow benefit the DV2020 winners with their visas issued that are subject to PP10014?
December 5, 2020 at 15:03
It did not apply to DV cases, but arguments against the Trump bans are useful.
December 5, 2020 at 08:16
Hi Brit.
My CN is AF26xxx and I have an issue.
My high school documents contain my former step fatherlast name (Amadou T. Bah) and I have won with my current biological father last name (Amadou Kamara).
Do I need to show a change of name documents before the CO validate my educational qualification? Or do I just explain showing proof they are all actually mine?
December 5, 2020 at 15:04
Do what you think is best to prove the documents are yours.
December 5, 2020 at 08:59
Hi Brit
I am a DV 2020 AF region with visa. If by the end of the month ie 31/12/2020 the PP 10014/52 is not extended, in my country there is no direct flight to the US in can I book and travel with France Airline or the regional ban will not permit me enter the US through Air France
December 5, 2020 at 15:07
OK – so you can either wait for the Schengen ban to end or arrange travel to NOT go through Schengen, or lastly travel to a third country and wait 14 days before entering. You have choices, you just need to think about it.
December 5, 2020 at 13:48
Hi Brit,
I sent the required documents to kccdvdocuments email 5 weeks ago and didn’t receive anything yet.
What I should do?
December 5, 2020 at 15:09
Learn how to be patient.
December 5, 2020 at 14:22
Hi brit I send my document to kcc the reply to me that the email send is sensitive but unclassified and I don’t know what it means please help me
December 5, 2020 at 15:12
It means you are overthinking trivialities that are on the bottom of every email they send.
December 11, 2020 at 03:20
Hi sir
I didn’t understand you please
what can I do to get out of this.
situation am worry ,please tell me what to do next
December 11, 2020 at 19:07
As I already told you, you are worrying for NOTHING.
December 5, 2020 at 14:50
Hi Brit,
I am a dv 2021 selectee and would want u to assist with the following :
I my sponsor as already filled in the ds260 has changed as in i am no longer taking
I134 from him but now have a new sponsor who will provide me with one.
1. DO I HAVE TO UNLOCK and update the ds260 eventhough the mailing address could still be used as i am still in touch with the old sponsor.
2. When should the new sponsor be sending me the I 134? My case number is AF1842x.
Thanks alot Brit.
December 5, 2020 at 15:13
1. The person whose address you use for the GC can be different to the person who provides an I-134.
2. Once you get your 2NL
December 5, 2020 at 15:57
Brit, KCC sends emails to DV2021 selectees asking for documents (birth, marriage, police certificate etc.) Does that mean KCC is confident on those people (who receive email asking for documents) that their case number will be ‘current’ by Sept 30, 2021?
December 5, 2020 at 16:56
No. That is not how it works. Collecting documents is simply part of the process and does not infer anything about the case numbers that will go current.
Where did you get that idea from?
December 5, 2020 at 22:50
Hi Simon,
I am married before entry application, I won with AF number but I born in ASIA (SAUDI ARABIA). But, my wife born in AFRICA (SUDAN). Would it be considered CROSS-CHARGEABILITY purpose if I said that I claimed my wife’s place of birth? I asked you earlier and you referred me to one of your articles “country of chargeability for dv Lottery” and to 9FAM rules.
As I understood from 9 FAM 502.6-4 paragraph a(2). I can claim clause (d), am I right? if not what should I do.
what is your advice for me in this situation and for the interview as well.
Thanks in advance.
December 6, 2020 at 08:21
Brit Simon would answer like that : You cannot claim your wife’s place of birth if you were born in an eligible country. Saudia Arabia is an eligible country , so you might be disqualified for this mistake, since AS and AF are two different regions.Good luck!
December 6, 2020 at 15:26
@Stephane, no that is incorrect. There is a thing called elective cross charging, and I have described how that can be used. Use the search feature for cross chargeability.
December 6, 2020 at 14:53
I answered earlier, so why are you asking again?
You can choose your spouse’s country of birth, and the article I referred you to says it all.
December 6, 2020 at 01:25
Hi Simon,
I am DV lottery 2021 selectee & my case number is AS17XXX.
I am a Sri Lankan Citizen currently live in Australia.
I got an email from KCC requesting my civil documents.
I have 2 questions regarding these documents.
1- Translated documents-
I already have requested documents in my native language & translated to English by a government SWORN translator, Registrar General’s Department, District court in Sri Lanka in 2016. Can I use those translated documents for this submission as well or do I need to submit recently translated documents? (I have used these translated documents for migration purposes of Australia.)
2- Police check-
I lived in Sri lanka since my birth to 2016 & then moved to Australia. Since then I am living in Australia. My last travel to Sri lanka was on 2018 June. Since then I have not travelled any other country rather than Australia.
Therefore, do I need to obtain police clearance from Australia & Sri lanka as well?
Many thanks
Randi

December 9, 2020 at 18:16
Hi, pls send me the group invitation link. Im also from SL
December 6, 2020 at 14:54
1. The ones you have would be fine.
2. Yes
December 7, 2020 at 03:46
Thanks for your reply Simon.
1-Australian Police check-
normally Australia process only name check police check or if we need police check including finger prints it will cost more & take more time.
Do we need to need to get police check with finger prints as well?
2- Sri Lankan police check
When we apply for Sri Lankan police check which one from below we need to address to?
1-Consulate general for D.S.R. of SL- New York
2-Consulate general for D.S.R. of SL- Los Angeles
3-Embassy of the D.S.R of SL-Washington DC
Thanks
December 7, 2020 at 04:08
1. I don’t think you need the fingerprint one.
2. I don’t know – what does the reciprocity page say?
December 7, 2020 at 12:00
Thanks Simon.
I checked that page as well. There is nothing mentioned regarding where to address.
December 7, 2020 at 20:36
OK – then you will need to choose for yourself.
December 8, 2020 at 01:27
Randi, from my experience you need the full (Australian Federal police certificate) one with finger prints as this is the national one. Another aussie going through same process. A friend many years ago had to get it as well, you can ask for them to remove your data.
December 8, 2020 at 03:46
That should not be needed. The OC’ers take the code 33 option, which I understand is (or at least was) $42. I have not seen anyone asked for the higher cost options – although everyone is free to spend the additional money if they want.
Just checked – still $42.
https://www.afp.gov.au/what-we-do/services/criminal-records/national-police-checks
December 8, 2020 at 06:22
Thanks Brit made a mistake
Reciprocity page for Australia says
“Australian Federal Police certificates based on fingerprints are preferred, but a certificate not based on fingerprints is acceptable if it shows all aliases ever used.”
December 7, 2020 at 06:35
Hi Randi,
I’m also sri lankan currently live in Australia, and didn’t submit documents yet. if you like to contact me sent me Facebook message https://www.facebook.com/malkiachiniappuhamy/
December 6, 2020 at 02:07
hello Simon,
As being a selectee from Nepal with the case number AS77XX and residing in the states as F-1. i am planning on going for AOS. As you know the visa bulIetin for Nepal is quite restricted with only the progression of 2850 case numbers for January. As you speculated that there is high chances that KCC would start scheduling interviews in the embassies from March. So my questions are:
1. What if the cut off number for Nepal only reaches to say 5000 or 6000 till the month of September. Will the higher case numbers will get no interview?
2. What scenarios do you think might play out with this situation?
3. If there is a lawsuit and can i sign up as a person doing an AOS?
December 6, 2020 at 15:20
1. Cases above the VB number (region or country) cannot get interviews or submit AOS.
2. Not sure what you mean, but I am not going to predict progress this year – there are too many factors.
3. There would be no point. You either become current, or you don’t. If you do, AOS cases have not been banned.
December 6, 2020 at 06:55
Hi Simon. With a 2021EU30xxx number, do I have any chance of getting an interview IF joining a current lawsuit? I mean, by winning the lawsuit, are they somehow obligated to process my case? If so, is it too late to join the lawsuit you mentioned?
December 6, 2020 at 15:22
It’s a matter of whether you become current or not. If you don’t become current, a lawsuit doesn’t help. The lawsuits that are proceeding aim to push the government to start interviews, so that will help you.
December 6, 2020 at 07:56
Hi Brit Simon,
Thanks for your support.
We are 2021 dv winner. We have used 2020 dv photo for 2021 dv. Will it leads to disqualification for our further process in kcc(not received email for supporting documents yet).
December 6, 2020 at 15:24
Up to now they have not been disqualifying cases for that. But they could start that policy later of course.
December 6, 2020 at 10:24
Hi Simon
Will the public charge be removed under Biden’s presidency ?
December 6, 2020 at 12:55
In general my CN 2021EU38XXX consider as high case number, but I wold like to ask you does specific country can have impact on chances. I am from Serbia, which have cca. 300 winners. Probably only 150-200 winners will proceed with the application, so my question is… have I higher chance to get interview, tacking into consideration that embassy in Belgrade should proceed only 1 or two cases per day if interview start on April. Do I have higher chance compared to (for example) Russia who have 6K winners?
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Darko
December 6, 2020 at 15:32
No difference between countries. The case number ordering is by region, not country.
December 6, 2020 at 15:30
No. It’s been a part of immigration law for 100 years.
December 6, 2020 at 10:30
Hi Brit, considering the limited processing time for DV2021, do you think embassies will consider DV cases as mission critical or do they require court order to consider DV 2021 cases as mission critical?
December 6, 2020 at 15:31
They only did that when the judge ordered them to do so. So they will need to be told again.
December 6, 2020 at 15:06
Hello Simon,
I wanted to thank you for your amazing content.
You have been a huge help so far in the DV process. My mother is a DV2021 winner. We have received an email from KCC for further DV documents. I am from Iran, but I have lived in Spain and I am currently living in the United States (I am a student in college). I am required to submit a police certificate from spain since I lived there for more than 12 months (before I was 18). However, the Spanish consulate in the states is not being cooperative and they are not providing a police certificate for the time I was in Spain. It’s been 3 weeks since we have received the email and the only missing document we have is the one I mentioned above. I was wondering what you suggest here. I am also worried that taking too long for getting back with the documents would harm our application.
I also got a police certificate from the local police here (United States). Is that enough or I should get a federal one?
Again thank you so much for the time you put and all the useful information you provide. I really appreciate the great work you do.
December 7, 2020 at 20:45
You are making things harder because you are not reading the instructions.
The reciprocity page for Spain mentions NOTHING about asking the Spanish consulate, and the instructions clear state no police certs are needed for the USA.
Read the instructions.
December 6, 2020 at 15:18
hello brit, i’m dv eu 202123xxx i have a curiosity in ds 260 i indicated the address of a friend in miami with relative name and surname etc the question is, if i arrive at the interview it is necessary that this friend make me an i 134 or is it not necessary and nothing changes?
December 7, 2020 at 04:30
It can be a different person, no problem
December 6, 2020 at 16:01
Hi BritSimon, greetings from Kenya (Obamaland)
Nwayz, question is, in your assessment, will DS5540 and i-134 Affidavit of Support, be necessary for a single person with about $40,000 in form of easily sellable stock shares, cash in bank & accumulated pension fund savings And can give Certified Statements of ALL these to the Consular during the interview for DV2021??
Sueshi
December 6, 2020 at 16:48
The DS5540 should not be requested now. However, the I-134 still can be useful. Think of assets in terms of liquid versus other types (semi liquid or non liquid). Cash is best – other assets would be less easy to convert into money. So – if you have the majority of your savings in liquid assets (cash at the bank), then that might be OK. An I-134 is always safer.
December 6, 2020 at 16:04
Hello BritSimon!
I am a DV winner with cn AF83xx which is a low number as you kindly told me before. In July KCC has asked me to submit my document which i already did but there is something which i clarified for them which is since i am from Egypt and cause of Covid-19 i could not manage a police record for me or my man because we live in Europe and it did not work through the embassy, but i have send an old police record which i had since 2017 and i explained everything to them in the email where i attached all documents. now i have three different questions to you:
-Is the reason for not getting a response regarding the submitted documents could be because of that i did not send new police records for me as principal applicant not either for my man as derivative?
-I was a 2016 DV winner but unfortunately i applied as single while i was just recently married (an immigration office did applied for me) and that caused a disqualification at the embassy by the interview but the case officer showed sympathy with us at the embassy and he asked his colleagues if he can approve us but unfortunately he could not help us at the end and wished us a good luck in the next time. Now I am Egyptian European and I have a visa to the USA, but do you think my case in 2016 could impact my case this time?
-Now and after struggling with the authorities in Egypt we got our new police records, should we send only the new police records or the whole documents which we sent in July?
best regards
Meral
December 6, 2020 at 17:24
NUMBER questions please.
1. Probably not. Everyone is being delayed right now and no one is getting interviews.
2. No
3. Resend the whole package.
December 6, 2020 at 16:10
Hi Brit Simon,
I am from iran and a 2021 dv winner with CN 2021AS000003XX.
I have a brother and he is a US citizen and he want to become my sponsor.
My questions are:
1. My brother needs to fill i-864 form instead of i-134?
2. Should I also fills ds-5540 form for public charge?
3. Because of Trump travel ban Is any chance for me to win?
Thanks for your reply,
Best regards
Azita makh
December 6, 2020 at 17:25
1. NO. The I-134.
2. No
3. Once Biden removes the Muslim ban, yes.
December 6, 2020 at 17:00
Hi Simon,
Hope you are well and Thanks for the efforts you are taking.
I am a DV2021 winner from Sri Lanka, with cs AS00013***. I am at Ireland now doing my Msc Eng by research and completing in early 2021.
My question is about the denial based on public charge criteria. Is it a must for us to have a sponsor from US? or just few grands of dollars will be sufficient?
I am single, hence I have seen somewhere that around 10K USD is sufficient enough. Is it true? What is your thoughts?
Thanks and best regards
Siva
December 6, 2020 at 19:08
Each case is different. A strong education and a bit of money “might” be enough, but the I-134 removes any doubt.
December 6, 2020 at 18:00
Hi Brit,
Am DV2020 winner and I send my ds260 in June but to date I am still waiting for KCC nitification to submit my document. Am I in progress or should I do something about it?
December 6, 2020 at 19:11
You probably just need to be patient. Case number?
December 7, 2020 at 04:12
My case number is 2020AF47xxxx
December 6, 2020 at 18:06
Im a 2021 selectee and my case number is Af52***, is there any chance for an interview date?
December 6, 2020 at 19:12
Maybe. Take a look at my Q&A yesterday.
December 6, 2020 at 20:28
Hello Mr. Britt, I know you will be asked these questions many times, but I want to know if there is any chance of a Category 5 participant who was involved in a paid lawsuit.
December 7, 2020 at 03:57
POssibly Katy. We don’t know exactly how the final order would be written – and whether named plaintiffs get priority. It’s hard to predict.
December 6, 2020 at 20:52
Good Day Mr Brit
i’m a DV2020 with a visa subjected to PP 10014/10052 and i have booked direct flight on 1st Jan to USA but my worries about if Trump did renew the PP in the last minute as he did before in last June.
and my be at this time i will be in the way to airport or in plane itself.
so my questions are :
1) if Trump renewed the PP can i enter or at the airport the immigration officer will cancel my visa and send me back ?
2) is there any hope that any of the lawsuits now a days may stop the ban ? and if so do you advice to change the traveling date and travel as soon as possible after stopping the ban ?
3) could the immigration officer in US airport cancel my visa for any reason ?
thanks alot for you help
December 7, 2020 at 03:59
1. I can’t be certain. It would depend on when Trump extends.
2. I don’t think any lawsuit has the chance of stopping the ban before January.
3. No
December 6, 2020 at 20:58
Hi Simon,
In the yellow envelop that we get, it says I have to pay the GC fees before travelling.
Can I pay after I arrive? Any implications?
Thanks
December 7, 2020 at 04:00
No problem to pay after arrival.
December 6, 2020 at 21:29
Heloo I’m from macedonia
When I complited my aplication for dv 2021 i make a mustake for my living adress
And in ds 260 a write correct
It is problem or not
December 7, 2020 at 04:00
No problem.
December 6, 2020 at 23:37
brit i have a curiosity i am winner dv 2021 when i applied to the lottery i mistakenly inverted the surname with the name and therefore to enter the status check i had to put the name instead of the surname, when i was extracted i filled in the ds260 in correct surname and name. I don’t remember where but I read that the official document is the form. it’s correct ? or risk there disqualification? thank you very much as always and sorry
December 7, 2020 at 04:03
The DS260 is what you need to get right. Whilst there is some risk of denial, there is some chance of the CO forgiving the mistake. The only way to be sure is to attend the interview.
December 7, 2020 at 01:02
Temporary Injunction
Hello Simon, is the temporary injunction referred to in the attached article related to the presidential proclamation which affects us DV 2020ers? Regards, H

Nothing to do with DV Lottery
December 7, 2020 at 04:18
Simon, in your historical Bulletin list, 2020 is twice We love U !
December 7, 2020 at 04:23
Thank you Rita – just fixed it.
December 7, 2020 at 09:41
Dear Simon
The first time I submitted my ds 260 around June 10th 2020, I forgot to add Singapore as one country I travelled within the last five years (28 June 2015).
In the meantime I unlocked my form last week to make corrections of other points. Then I realized about Singapore.
Today is the 7th of December, and if we take the span of the last 5y, my Singapore travel is not in it.
Question:
Do you recommend that I still put it on my submission today because of the first ds 260 submission in June when actually Singapore should have been listed?
Thank you for your feedback !
Andy
December 7, 2020 at 20:18
Yes
December 7, 2020 at 10:34
Hi Simon have another question outside topics I remember last year December you posted a form to fill for an opportunity to win a free year in New York City, all Bill’s paid. I wanted to know if that could repeat itself this year due to covid that fragilise the sponsors and every other one finances…
December 7, 2020 at 20:21
I don’t think that will be repeated this year, partly because COVID makes that sort of thing harder.
December 7, 2020 at 10:44
Hi Brit, just watched ur latest live video where u predicted safe zone for a Asia as 15xxx. I know it’s a prediction n can vary.. my question is u predicted cut off fr Asia as AS 15k where we lost 6 months frm 2021 FY. In a normal year ( without COVID, without travel ban) what can be the cut off case no for Asia? I mean the safe zone fr Asia ?
December 7, 2020 at 20:27
Lost time will affect the number of visas processed. There are too many variables in play this year to be sure of what is safe, or not safe.
December 7, 2020 at 22:21
Hey mr Brits when I entered dv lottery I had a mixs up with my first name ,middle name and last name ..what I mean is I did not put them in order but when filling DS260 I put them in the correct order and all other document and my passport have the name in the correct order I know this won’t cause a prob …I thought it wise to ask you cus I see your page is very helpful
December 8, 2020 at 03:50
Well you have to enter them correctly on the DS260, so you did the wise thing. However, only the CO can decide whether to forgive the original mistake or not.
December 7, 2020 at 14:52
Hi simon! SAxxx4000
How do you see my probability for an interview? I know my case number is high. All this time loosed by the ban will impact mu case? Or maybe because the pandemic situation to many participans will not process their case increasing my chances?
Thank you
December 7, 2020 at 20:39
I cannot guess the probability.
December 7, 2020 at 16:29
Hi Simon,
This year we got 132k selectees for DV2021 as you know.If everything going perfect and they give all 55k visas, EU25xxx and higher cade numbers has a chance to get a visa or it is impossible for this year ?
Thank you
December 7, 2020 at 20:41
Everything is not going perfect. So for now, no predictions.
December 8, 2020 at 01:16
Hi Simon,
Thank you for your Youtube video “Case number analysis for EUROPE”. That gave me a better idea of the mathematical aspect of it.
I’m currently living in the U.S with case number 2021EU30XXX.
Is the low bulletin numbers related to the travel ban/visa ban?
I will go through AOS processing here in the U.S but I’m trying to understand if the travel ban/DV-processing will affect me the same way as people in their home countries?
When I look at your statistics the visa bulletin numbers are lower than ever before in previous years. 🙁
Thank you.
December 8, 2020 at 03:48
Certainly the ban is affecting case number progression. However, I cannot predict what will happen next. You cannot file for AOS until your CN is current – so you’ll have to be patient for now.
December 8, 2020 at 02:59
Hi Simon, according to this link: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Immigrant-Statistics/MonthlyIVIssuances/OCTOBER%202020%20-%20IV%20Issuances%20by%20Post%20and%20Visa%20Class.pdf
Look like there some DV Visa issuance in October 2020 (Amman, Budapest, Kathmandu, Yerevan). So KCC is starting to send 2 NL?
December 8, 2020 at 03:32
No.
As previously discussed here, there were a tiny handful of cases processed in October, some exceptional cases. Not evidence of KCC sending 2NLs.
December 8, 2020 at 03:48
Hi Simon,
The police certificate is sent directly to the embassy by police in my country, I only got a receipt, do I need to attach any cover page with a receipt to show KCC, my police certificate will be sent directly to the embassy?
Thanks!
December 8, 2020 at 04:19

I recommend to the winners not to enter to certain DVgroups because seems they are scams and are giving false info. I ve just abandoned one of them

Good Morning Brit.
I trust you are keeping safe.
What do you think is the best case scenario for DV2021 selectees.
December 8, 2020 at 14:45
That’s too vague to answer. The reality is we need interviews to start. However that happens, I don’t know, but the sooner the better. Having said that, COVID will obviously have impacts, so we’ll see.

Hi Mr Brit I’m a dv2020 winner with a 34***k number case.
But Without a Visa.
I have sent all the required documents and have been waiting since spring when I will be sent at least some letter in response from KCC. So..
My question is, do I have a chance of getting a visa yet? Although to get one of those 9095 reserved visas.
thanks

I don’t know. Like everyone else, you just have to wait and see.

Hi Simon
Just wanted to share what the US consulate in Casablanca posted in the ‘medical exam’ instructions:
*COVID-19 Update: Due to measures put in place to keep social distancing at the panel physicians and at the Consulate General, as well as the high volume of immigrant visa appointments at the Consulate General in October and November 2020, you may have difficulty securing an appointment with a panel physician before your interview. If you experience a delay in seeing a panel physician, please do not be concerned. You can still come to your interview on the scheduled date, even if your medical exam is not complete. You will have an opportunity to schedule an appointment with the panel physician after your visa interview.
That would allow people more time between 2NLs and the interview I suppose. Your thoughts on it?

It’s a worrying sign of COVID affecting capacity of the “system”.

Hi Brit. I have been in the States in 2008/2009 on exchange visitor J1 visa and been issued SSN number. Do I need to ask for a new card on my DS260 or not?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
December 9, 2020 at 02:16
No.
December 9, 2020 at 10:59
I was an F1 student and my SSN had a remark saying “valid for work only with DHS authorization”, on my DS260 I have chosen “Yes” on the question for a new card as the new one (I guess) will not have this remark on it, right?
December 9, 2020 at 14:42
You can get a new card, but you would do that yourself. It will be the same number.

Hello Britsimon!
My case number is AF202183xx from Egypt. I do need your help because I started to lose the hope and I really need your advice about the worst scenario for dv2021. Do you think we will be scheduled? Will go for further process?
Another question: is there any possibility to know my number in my country not only in the region?
Last question: due to your estimation and calculations of the holes in Africa that over 60% are just holes. What is my real number in Africa according to that estimation?
Best regards
MERAL

Really? People with AF88xxx still keep hoping and you with just 8xxx you already lose the hope?
December 9, 2020 at 08:46
Hello Stephanie! Although my question is directed to Britsimon but anyhow thank you for your comment. Do you have logic responses to my inquiries? If yes, please tell, but if no and you just want to bully me so please keep your comments to yourself because I didn’t talk to you from the beginning.
Regards

Bully you for what?Come on!I wanted just to say don’t lost hope because you are lucky to have AF8xxx since we know the highess CN in AF is 88xxx. So no need to be rude with me.
December 9, 2020 at 14:34
@Meral,
Your losing hope and questions are inappropriate for your case number range. Leave the worrying to those that actually have reason to be worried.

Hi I would like to know how many times can DS 260 be unlocked to make changes
December 9, 2020 at 14:32
There is no limit.
December 9, 2020 at 03:39
Can you give me an advice what to do by considering this case, my case number is around Af 15k, even if I have sent Ds 260 form in july29, still I do not get any message from the kcc,but I have seen the message from kcc to those who have higher case number (18k).then I try to see again all the pdf forms of confirmation page . I have got a mistake on the way of writing my case number by missing three zeros digit(000). It looks like 2021Af16xxx rather than Af00016xxx .could it makes me out of the dv program or not ?

No.

Hi Simon,
I’ve been to Europe for only 2 weeks as a tourist, what should be my answer to this question “Have you traveled to any countries/regions within the last five years? ” ? And should I mention all the countries I’ve been to even if it was for a couple of hours? Thanks
December 9, 2020 at 07:38
++ Or is this only related to work/education ?
December 9, 2020 at 14:36
The question does not mention any minimum time, does it. So answer the question.
December 9, 2020 at 15:07
Ok thanks, but what about the note on the top of this page “NOTE: Provide the following work, education, or training related information. Provide complete and accurate information to all questions that require an explanation.”
Does this mean that I should ONLY mention any international trip that is related to work/education? Or am I overthinking?
December 9, 2020 at 15:15
Overthinking. Just answer the questions.
December 9, 2020 at 07:46
Hi Simon. I have 2 passports and my LAST NAME is completely different in the other one. Should I add the other name as an answer to this question? “Have you ever used other names (i.e., maiden, religious, professional, alias, etc.)? Thanks
Note: I’m not the main applicant
