Hello British
Please am in need of some professional advice. I am called Leonard and i won the DV 2020 but was denied a visa due my history of drug use. Here’s what happened.. I was called back to the embassy and was told that the CO refused to issue me a visa because of my drug history. But the issue is my passport wasn’t stamped as denied nor does my profile indicate a denial. So what is the probability of me getting another appointment at the embassy if file an appeal and what advice can you please give me on what I can do because I really want to travel to the US because it’s been a dream of mine. And I no longer smoke marijuana because that’s the only drug I ever tried. I look forward to and will really appreciate your advice. Thanks
May 3, 2021 at 04:40
Zero chance. They will have updated your case number.
May 3, 2021 at 14:59
hi Leonard, solid you show them your court case documentary, did you have ever been convicted?
on what basis did they find out about your contact with marijuana and what kind of contact was it?
thanks for your answer
May 3, 2021 at 03:05
Hey Simon
I am Dv 2021 winner
My Ds260 is blocked and I contact KCC to help me with this problem
Their replay said that I should present to the embassy in Egypt to solve this issue but I didn’t get any appointment from the embassy.
There reply is (In order to continue processing your case, the primary Diversity Visa applicant (DV-1) must schedule an appointment to appear in person at the United States Embassy in Cairo. However, due to the novel COVID-19 outbreak, Cairo has limited services and is unable to schedule your appointment at this time.
When services resume, the primary Diversity Visa applicant (DV-1) must contact KCC to schedule your appointment)y This reply was in 19 april 2021 .
By way the embassy is now opening and istill do not get any appointment.
I wanted to join the new lawsuit
What should i do now ??
May 3, 2021 at 04:39
Well consider is it ESSENTIAL that you unlock your DS260. If it is you will have to keep trying – but it is likely that would be the end of your chances.
May 3, 2021 at 03:07
Hi Brit
If the number of plaintiffs in lawsuit is small, is it possible for the government to make a settlement with the lawyer without resorting to the judge’s intervention?
May 3, 2021 at 04:37
We’ll see.
May 3, 2021 at 05:07
Hi Simon, when can we know final news about dv2020 lawsuits?
May 3, 2021 at 09:47
no deadlie
May 3, 2021 at 22:09
There is no deadline. Patience is the only way.
May 3, 2021 at 06:29
Hi Brit,
I can’t seem to find back my question back so I just hope I didn’t actually send it through and you haven’t responded yet.
Do you have any news regarding the Brussels embassy? I see 2 cases are “ready” but the embassy is quiet and doesn’t respond to my emails. My case is still stuck at KCC (EU14xxx).
I sent my documents in December (had a bunch of them). Should I resend them now? Or no need?
Thanks.
May 3, 2021 at 22:12
The embassies that are accepting some interviews are not accepting many. If you watch my latest video you will understand why I am worried for people that have not yet been given the ready for scheduling response.
May 3, 2021 at 06:56
Hi Simon! My case is approx 2021EU10xxx. Submitted ds 260 at September 2020, then after 2 days later got thr message about documents scanning. But I uploaded scanned documents in may 2021(no replies yet) Visa numbers on CURRENT now. Does this (I mean late doc uploads) affect on interview date and etc.?
May 3, 2021 at 22:13
You waited a LONG time before sending documents – that may well affect you. Right now it is not possible to predict who will get an interview.
May 3, 2021 at 07:04
Hi Brit! Hope you’re doing great !
What do you think of Curtis Morrison’s new “MULTI-PARTICIPANT BIG MANDAMUS LAWSUIT”?
I’m a DV 21 winner from Nepal (case number 68**), will go current probably in the next visa bulletin !
May 3, 2021 at 22:14
I have said a number of times, I think the lawsuits may help some people.
May 3, 2021 at 07:52
Hello Brit,
I have sent my documents in November cn2021EU20k and still haven’t gotten the confirmation . As a subject I used my case number / Name and in the email I included all the documents as requested by KCC. Do I have to include my case number, name, DOB in the email body as well?
May 3, 2021 at 22:14
No
May 3, 2021 at 10:25
Hello Brit, when checking for dv 2022 start
May 3, 2021 at 20:50
May 8th
May 3, 2021 at 22:15
May 8 – but wait a couple of days after that.
May 3, 2021 at 12:06
Simon
Hope you & family are well, the same cannot be said for myself
I watched your latest video and stumbled when you said KCC is scheduling interviews based on lower numbers that completed processing. I’m one of those with AS37Xx. But, ive not been scheduled yet even though ive received ready for scheduling email twice. Embassy is running and many higher cases scheduled.
The 2nd time i received ready for scheduling again was after unlocking the DS260 in March and completing everything again. Regardless, I keep beating myself up that my case is thrown back of the line and I may never be scheduled due to high demand of 11k processed people. I keep thinking that i wouldve been scheduled if not for unlocking.
I have fallen into anxiety & depression with minor focus on work and everything else. I just wish there is way to cancel this program for myself to stop thinking about it but that cant happen either because it’s everywhere front of me.
I apologise for the rant but I am just not feeling well. I didnt want to be pushed back in this uncertain year atleast.
May 3, 2021 at 22:17
Unlocking doesn’t normally cause delay. But is your embassy scheduling? Have they scheduled many cases? Perhaps you just need to wait.
May 3, 2021 at 13:05
Hi Brit,
My case number will be current in June according to the visa bulletin that has been posted about a week ago.
1) Assuming normal year:
Do I understand correctly, that in a normal year, the 2NL for my case would have been dispatched a few days ago indicating an interview in June. Or do I misunderstand the process, and, being current in June means they won’t schedule / notify me before June or maybe a few days before may ends?
2) Current year and situation:
According to savediversity website the highest case number with a ready is in the range 12,500 for EU. This matches I believe with Xarthisius files, there the highest EU number is 12XXX. Are you by change aware of a higher EU number?
2.1) Do you remember by heart a higher EU range number of someone posting here and saying they received the ready for scheduling e-mail?
Many thanks for your time!
May 3, 2021 at 22:20
1. In a normal year 2NLs (interview schedules) for June would have been sent in April. However, as I expected, some 2NLs have been sent today – but not many.
2. No – the data they provide is accurate.
2.1 Ready for scheduling emails could have gone out to higher numbers. That doesn’t mean for certain that those people will get an interview.
May 4, 2021 at 18:46
Hi Brit,
Thank you for your answers.
For 1) I am still confused, not sure if I understand you correctly. EU3X,XXX here. If it was a normal year, and it would say THE DIVERSITY (DV) IMMIGRANT CATEGORY RANK CUT-OFFS WHICH WILL APPLY IN JUNE in the visa bulletin: EU–> Current
–> In this instance they would have sent the notification in April for me to appear in June? Or they would have waited until June (or end of May) to send me only then a notification to appear some time later.
Thank you again for your time!!!
May 4, 2021 at 19:34
Again, interview notices for June interviews would normally be sent in June. So if the VB makes a case current “for June”, that case would normally be notified in SApril and would interview in June.
That is a “normal” year. This year is not normal.
May 3, 2021 at 14:48
Hi I just wanted to share some good news,
I got mail form KCC telling me that my interview was scheduled for8 June and I will get 2NL within few day.
Case 2021EU16XX. I got this mail as response to my mail to KCC. My mail was composed out of one sentence
“Pleas schedule interview! The Jerusalem embassy is open for interview.”.
Brit thanks for the advice and support!
May 3, 2021 at 14:52
After how many days did you get the respons at your email?
May 3, 2021 at 16:16
one week
May 3, 2021 at 15:01
Congratulations Ed! That’s great news. When you go to the DV Entrant Status Check does it show the actual 2NL?
May 3, 2021 at 16:18
Not yet, the mail said that 2NL will be updated in 3 to 4 dayes
May 3, 2021 at 22:20
One of the few…
May 4, 2021 at 05:48
congrats Ed, That’s very good news. could you tell how long does it take for them to reply your mail?
May 4, 2021 at 13:27
Congratulations, your case number is low too.
please share with us here when you actually get the 2NL.
May 4, 2021 at 18:55
Hi Ed,
Congrats! Did you receive any other communication (such as the ready for scheduling e-mail) before you made this request? Thx
May 3, 2021 at 16:35
Hi sir Brits
Thanks for your help in directing winners to their path. i am worried about my case number 2021AF70XXX
I have not received any emailed after i submitted my DS260 form.
May 3, 2021 at 22:30
Yes there is risk. When did you send your documents?
May 3, 2021 at 16:42
Hi Simon,
I hope you are doing well. I have a question regarding AOS. In your live you recommended submitting DS-260 at some point of the process. I know this might be totally irrelevant, but I was thinking since we are putting some extra info into DS-260 like social media, past phone numbers, etc, could submitting DS-260 possibly increase the background check time? Smom1 noted that USCIS will initiate a background check after biometric and based on submitted DS-260. Therefore, I was wondering could it be a good move to submit DS-260 since our interview/biometric will be close to the end of fiscal year.
Thank you!
May 3, 2021 at 22:33
You can decide the timing.
May 3, 2021 at 19:05
Hi Simon,
I am the DV2021 winner (case number 4xxx).I have submitted ds260 and my documents got approval.
my interview location is in Vancouver. Today I found out Vancouver didn’t take immigration interview.
so My question is:
1. will my case will automatically transfer to Montreal, the only open interview location in Canada?
and Montreal is in limit service right now , I am afraid I won’t get interview before 9/30…
2. So I have another choice is to fly back to my birth country for interview. That means I
need to unlock ds260, change current address. will KCC review all ds260 again and
ask me to re-upload all documents if I just change the current address ?
Thank you for your time! really appreciate!
May 3, 2021 at 22:36
1. Your interview was never going to be in Vancouver. Only Montreal. And yes – there is significant risk because the embassies either are not accepting cases at all, or if they are, very few cases.
2. You can ask KCC if they will schedule in your home country.
May 3, 2021 at 19:40
Dear Brit, AS12xxx.
I received an email on 28/04/2021 stating “ Congratulations! Our records indicate that your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview when your case number becomes current and appointments are available” . CEAC data shows Case status as At NVC. Is it normal or shouldn’t the status be “Ready”? I was surprised receiving documents confirmation email from KCC as none of the closer number received this yet.
Appreciate your reply.
May 3, 2021 at 20:44
Hello Vernita,
Congratulations for receiving the email…
May you please tell me from which country are you? I have a very close case number to yours
May 3, 2021 at 20:48
That’s normal, it won’t show as “READY” until your interview is scheduled
May 3, 2021 at 22:37
That is normal. Cases show at NVC until they are actually sent to the embassy. At that time they will briefly show a status of In Transit, then READY.
May 4, 2021 at 03:55
Hello Vernita , could you tell us when you submitted the documents?
thank you
May 4, 2021 at 08:14
Hi vernita when you submitted your documents?
May 3, 2021 at 20:45
So I sent my documents 8 weeks ago and with no updates from KCC.
I tried to check whether KCC are satisfied with my documents 6 weeks after submission date and of course there was no resposne.
Can anyone help to check whether I sent the rights documents.
Case # 2021AS00011xxx and interview location Riyadh which is currently processing both Imigrant & non Imigrant visas.
The documents I sent were all in comination of English & Arabic as below:
1) Passoprt bio page for all applicants
2) Birth Certificates for all applicants
3) Marriage Certificate
4) Police Certificates for all countries for every country where we spent 12 months or more
We haven’t served in the military and there were no previous marriage terminations.
Are these the right set of documents !!!
May 3, 2021 at 22:41
4 might be incorrect. You should also include police certs from the country of citizenship (assuming you spent at least 6 months there over the age of 16), and current country.
How about translations?
Any previous marriages?
May 4, 2021 at 02:36
Country of residency & country of citizinship were both included. I also included one from UK as I lived there before.
No previous marriges.
I am planning to translate all documents and re-send the whole package again. I might get lucky this time
May 3, 2021 at 20:53
Hello Sir,
The government announced lately that the KCC has determined 11,112 cases to be documentarily qualified.
Does this means that ALL of the 11,112 cases have already received the email of documents confirmation??
Or we still have hope to be one of these 11,112 cases and will receive the email soon ??
May 3, 2021 at 22:41
They will have been informed already.
May 3, 2021 at 22:59
Hi brit. KCC keeps asking me to resend my documents. I am going over them for errors right now. Question: do I upload to CEAC at the same time or just send via email?
May 4, 2021 at 18:00
Just email.
May 3, 2021 at 23:11
Hi Brit, following the spreadsheet concerning 2NL for June interviews only 70 interviews have been scheduled worldwide. Is this a definitive number or will KCC send another pack of 2NL for June interviews.
May 4, 2021 at 18:00
I believe there will be some more – but clearly nothing like the volume we needed to see.
May 3, 2021 at 23:59
hi mr simon can i send my documents to u via ur email to check if they are correct ? if yes could u give me ur email my cn AS17xxx
May 4, 2021 at 18:07
No – I have produced a video to explain clearly how you check your documents yourself.

Also … I’ve lived in the US before on a work Visa. Do I need to get a police clearance from the USA? Or is it only for countries other than the USA. Thanks so much for the blog info.
May 4, 2021 at 02:24
There is no need for a US police certificate.
May 4, 2021 at 02:24
There is no need for a US police certificate
May 4, 2021 at 18:08
No police certs needed for the USA. That is in the instructions – please make sure you have read the instructions.
May 4, 2021 at 02:33
Oh, yay. Thanks! Hopefully my documents will all be in order this time. KCC keeps sending form emails saying I need to submit documents. I can’t figure out what’s missing.
May 4, 2021 at 05:20
Dear Simon good day. Hope you are doing great with your family
I have worry to be clarifiés sir. My CN is AF2021 15***.
I unlocked D’s 260 one month 2wks ago to make and.made some corrections. Then I sent documents 4 weeks ago. Till today I have recieve no comfirmation no ready to be scheduled. I’m scared, is it normal, should continue keeping patient. Pls Mr. Brit suggest something.
May 4, 2021 at 08:18
Hi Nkeih, We did a same things……. MY case is AS2021 20***.wait Mr.Brit to Reply
May 4, 2021 at 18:55
There is reason to be concerned. Right now KCC and the embassies are not scheduling as many cases as they need to – and already have more than enough cases ready for scheduling to last to the end of the year. The outlook looks bleak unless we get more time through a lawsuit.
May 4, 2021 at 07:16
Hi Simon,
Do you think I’ll manage to succeed with AoS (DV2021) if I go to the US now, wait 90 days, then apply for AoS?
Thank you for your help!
May 4, 2021 at 18:56
That would be a tight timeline – but technically possible if you do everything right.
May 4, 2021 at 07:28
Hello sir, and hello all the people here. I wish u all the best, for you,and your families.
Im albanian,dv21 winner, cn 6k. The embassy of albania notice that the priority of interview for dv lottery is the last of the visas. Now,if u can give an advice. Am i at risk with this cn? Thank you. Best regards from albania..
May 4, 2021 at 18:56
Everyone is at risk.
May 4, 2021 at 07:49
Is anybody else waiting for their visa after the interview? We were told to have the passports back one week after the interview. Now already 3 weeks have passed. According the embassy there is technical problems worldwide since two weeks and they had to contact the service desk, but so far it is still pending.
May 4, 2021 at 18:57
I have heard of other cases being delayed also.
May 4, 2021 at 08:38
Dear Brit,
My case number is 2021AFxxxx, I’m from Morocco but living in Turkey, as you know the U.S Embassy in Turkey is not processing DV visas, so I wrote to KCC asking them to allow to me to have the interview in Morocco my original country, and they accepted, but they asked me to unlock my DS-260 and change my address, which confused me, because I’m still living in Turkey and I will go to Morocco JUST for the interview, so which address should I change? is that might be a problem? will they really deny the visa if they understand that I’m not resident in Morocco (which I tried to explain to them in the emails)?
Thanks in Advance.
May 4, 2021 at 18:58
They responded that way because they must have thought you had moved back to Morocco, and that move would justify the reason for moving your case back there. If you have a family address there – use that.
May 4, 2021 at 10:32
Hi BritSimon
Am a DV 2021 selectee from Ghana with CN AF630*. Please below is the reply i received from KCC after an enquiry on my interview appointment. Do you think i will get to be interviewed. Thank you
Your case number is now current for interview processing. Once the interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via email to check https://dvprogram.state.gov. If you need to make changes to your DS-260 you should contact the consular section where you will be interviewed, or bring the information about your changes to your interview appointment. Because your case is ready to be scheduled, KCC can no longer unlock your application.
May 4, 2021 at 18:59
The reply means they are actively working on getting your case scheduled, but it obviously depends on capacity/status of the embassy.
May 4, 2021 at 10:47
Hello Brit,
What will it be like for Dv 2022?
May 4, 2021 at 18:59
I suspect we will still see some COVID impacts.
May 4, 2021 at 12:15
Hi, I am have been following since a year, you have provided clear information about DV. I am DV2021 selecte from Nepal with case number 67XX. What would you suggest about participating in Curtis Morrison Lawsuit which will be filed on June,6. My documents are verified last month. As embassy is closed in Nepal due to lock down in Nepal. What would you suggest?
May 4, 2021 at 19:06
The reason that people get involved in the lawsuits is for the hope that it will improve their chances. However, it isn’t a guarantee of getting your visa. So – you have to decide for yourself what to do.
May 4, 2021 at 12:18
Hi There, I am an ex-military person who is not in active service now and got discharge. I was able to obtain a US visitor visa during my stay in New Zealand in 2018 but I did not mention my military history, honestly, I kept it hide from them. When I submit DS 260 from Sri Lanka does it essential to mention military history? though it’s essential I can’t because already they have my DS 160 records as I never work for the military. My question is if I keep continues this as a secret, will us embassy in Srilanka will be able to find out it. I do have clear police clearance, no criminal records, never been sentenced to jail or prison. I need help from someone, yes indeed I did fraud it’s because of my situation, actually, I flew to NZ as a protected person who seeks shelter there for political revenge during 2015, so I couldn’t expose my military data to US
May 4, 2021 at 19:04
I can only advise you to tell the truth. When you lie, you create problems.
If you are DV2021 and only now completing your DS260, you have probably left this too late.
May 4, 2021 at 14:09
Hello BritSimon
Please clarify, for avoidance of any doubt..
Is KCC e-mail (subject title: 2021EU… Documents Received), with following text:
“Congratulations! Our records indicate that your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview when your case number becomes current and appointments are available.”
the ONLY e-mail we should care about (as you indicate in your YT video), i.e. ready for scheduling e-mail? Or, this e-mail is just announcement of possible future “Ready for scheduling” e-mail?
May 4, 2021 at 15:30
That is the “Ready for Scheduling” email
May 4, 2021 at 18:16
What is your case number GanDra if I may ask? I am from EU too. Thanks.
May 5, 2021 at 14:40
Violet_EU2021 case number is below 3000..
May 4, 2021 at 19:11
This is not the only format of email they use – but each is very clear in its meaning, as this one is.
May 5, 2021 at 14:53
Thank you BritSimon.. Although, some KCC e-mails are like prepared by the oracle Pythia herself…
May 4, 2021 at 14:54
Hi Simon
I’ve heard you saying on your latest video: ” if a person has not got ready for scheduling email so far, then he/she won’t has a chance to be interviewed ”
I didn’t understand this clearly
1- is KCC not going to process documents any longer ?
2- has document processing a timeline in a year?
Please Simon, show me a little hope . My CN is around 2021AF19500, my ds260 has been processed. But I don’t know if my documents are processed as well. I sent them to KCC 45 days ago, and I’ve asking if they’re satisfied with them but I’m just getting that generic email .
I thought KCC is not active with me because my local embassy is not accepting interviews I’m afraid . So I ended up asking KCC to switch my interview to Cairo – Egypt .
3- you talked about Cairo embassy positively on one of your videos a couple months ago. And how they handle great number of cases annualy. Could they accept my case?
Thank you so much for your tremendous work and help
May 4, 2021 at 19:17
I I did not say anything so definitive in my video. I do think there is an obvious risk – but I cannot be certain of what will happen next.
Most embassies are refusing to accept cases from outside of their local population. With Cairo having THOUSANDS of waiting cases locally, you should not be surprised if they don’t accept your case.
I would like to give you some more positive news, but there is obviously great risk at the moment.
May 4, 2021 at 18:11
Hello Brit,
I noticed some mistakes in the submitted DS-260 forms:
1. In two of my derivatives’ forms instead of specifying the course of study in university (still ongoing) I wrote “academic”.
2. In my form (main applicant) I forgot to write one previous work email address.
Is it worth unlocking the three forms to correct these mistakes or should I just update them at the interview?
May 4, 2021 at 19:32
No need to unlock for that.
May 4, 2021 at 23:16
Okay thank you!
May 4, 2021 at 18:48
Hi Brit,
Current in VB,………. From Nepal…… CN 5000
I have requested KCC to change my interview location to Abu Dhabi. But not get reply yet.
I also sent to Abu dhabi the same request. They asked me my residence visa copy.
My question
1) If Abu dhabi accept my request to change my interview location, Should I still get reply from KCC?
2) After accepting my request , will Abu Dhabi itself transfer my case and schedule my interview ? I mean – shouldn’t I need to contact KCC if Abu Dhabi accept my request?
May 4, 2021 at 19:36
KCC schedule the interviews. The embassy only controls the interviews that have been sent to them by KCC.
May 4, 2021 at 19:39
Hello Brit
We are EU10k, we are thinking about sending translations for some documents that are in the local language.
Should we resend the whole package or just the translations with an explanation pdf maybe?
Maybe we can sleep better knowing they will have nothing they could complain about.
May 4, 2021 at 19:50
If you resend any documents, you should resend ALL documents.
May 4, 2021 at 19:42
Hi Simon. I am curious why you think that if the Goh case wins, not ALL plaintiffs are going to be scheduled for their interviews? As far as I know there are no more than 800-900 plaintiffs. Won’t KCC be able to process such amount of cases?
Thanks in advance!
May 4, 2021 at 19:55
First, I haven’t said exactly that, but here is the problem.
1. You don’t know the mandamus cases will only be 800/900 plaintiffs. You mention Goh, but what about the suits filed and being filed by Curtis Morrison et al. They have developed a very successful process to onboard clients in volume. What makes you think it will only be 800/900? Without knowing that number, how can we be sure there is time for all cases to be scheduled. Have you seen how few cases are actually getting scheduled?
2. A Judge will not force an embassy to work if that embassy insists it is not safe to do so. There will for sure be a number of embassies that will not perform interviews, no matter what the Judge orders.
May 4, 2021 at 19:57
Hopefully, they will be able to reserve visas.
May 4, 2021 at 20:01
Yes that is my hope – and is something that is a part of the Goh strategy. However, we haven’t seen that reservation play out yet for the DV2020 cases so it isn’t a done deal yet whether such reservation is effective, even if achieved.
May 4, 2021 at 20:04
Right, Goh lawyers made a very convincing argument for reserving visas yesterday during their livestream, but who knows whether that actually is legal.
May 5, 2021 at 08:01
This is logical reasoning but there is still the possibility of relief through a visa reservation and this is not yet clear for DV2020.
May 4, 2021 at 20:01
Thanks for your opinion, Simon! And if a particular embassy is open for interviews, do you think the chances for these plaintiffs will be high to be scheduled even though KCC hasn’t confirmed that their docs were processed already?
May 4, 2021 at 20:07
That’s a lot of speculation…. your speculation is as good as mine.

Hi Simon,
I had my interview today. I submitted all the documents and everything was OK.then, The CO asked me 3 questions and I answered them all. He told me that my file was good but he gave me a yellow sheet .it is written on it 221g ( refusal) and told me to fill ds5535 and send to the Embassy by mail.my status show “refused”. Do I have a chance to have my visa approved or it is over. Anyway I would like to thank you for everything you have done for us. You were very helpful. But I was not lucky today.

I don’t understand clearly filing a lawsuit of dv2021 winners. If you file a lawsuit is there any change to get interview early or what….what does it mean filing a lawsuit and for what purpose its done??
May 4, 2021 at 21:16
Most DV2021 winners won’t get an interview. The lawsuits are hoping to improve that either for the people on the lawsuits, or possibly for everyone. You don’t have to participate in the lawsuits, that is your choice.

KCC and the US embassies worldwide are just using Covid 19 as an excuse to frustrate DV 2021 winners. What’s the use of making all numbers current then move from bad to worse with regards to scheduling interviews. They can as well abolish the dv lottery program since they are not treating it as a priority. To hell with DV 2021. Biden is not different from Trump.

Hi brit, when I requested kcc to change my interview location and unlock ds260 , instead they replied me like that…. that mean they didn’t changed my interview location .. Am I right?
Thank you for your inquiry.
In order for the Kentucky Consular Center to assist with inquiries regarding a specific Diversity Visa (DV) case, you must provide the Principal Applicant’s full name, complete case number, and date of birth in the following format (MMDDYYYY) as entered on the original entry. Please remember that the Kentucky Consular Center does not have the authority to tell you whether or not your specific case will be disqualified. Only a consular officer can do that at the time of your visa interview. Do not send any paper documents to the Kentucky Consular Center.
For additional information, please refer to the following websites:

That email is normally sent when they have scheduled the interview, but have not yet sent the 2NL because they send the 2NLs in batches.

In Nepal many more csse before my CN. So I don’t expect they have scheduled my interview . This made me crazy …… Is that email mean they have transfered my case to Abu Dhabi and scheduled interview and sent me this mail? is it possible ?

Wait and see.

Hello mr Brit Simon. After sending several emails to kcc regarding my documents, I asked them if my documents have been processed since (I sent them several times since September 2020 when they asked me to ), they answer me in this way:
Thank you for your inquiry.
Your DS-260 has been processed. You should have received, or will soon receive, an email from the Kentucky Consular Center giving you instructions to complete in order for your case to continue processing. Please follow the instructions in the email. Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing. Please refer to the visa bulletin at travel.state.gov to locate the current numbers being processed. This bulletin is updated after the 15th day of each month. Once an interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via email to check dvprogram.state.gov.
After sending documents to [email protected], you will receive an automatic reply to your email. If there are no attachments, the auto reply explains there are no documents attached to the email. If there are attachments, the auto reply explains we received your email and are currently processing your documents. Please allow time for processing of your documents. Documents are processed in numerical order, based on lottery rank number. Once KCC has processed your documents, we will let you know if anything is missing or if we have received everything needed.
KCC is aware of recent executive orders and is actively working on Diversity Visa (DV) Program cases. Please monitor travel.state.gov for general updates to the DV Program and related regulations. You should also check the information posted by the Embassy or Consulate you chose for the location of your interview for operations details. The process for scheduling DV appointments has not changed from previous years. Selectees will be asked to check the Entrant Status Check (ESC) website by an email sent to the address they provided as soon as an interview is scheduled. KCC cannot predict when individual cases will be scheduled for interview, and you are not asked to take any additional steps if you have already provided all your documents and information. Please remember that selection for participation in the DV Program is not a guarantee of a visa or of a visa interview.
What does it means?
May 5, 2021 at 00:04
It’s difficult to guess what it means. It might mean they don’t have your documents, or they do but they haven’t processed them yet. There is only one way to know – and that is asking them again. Wait a couple of weeks and ask again.
May 5, 2021 at 00:35
I ask them so many times and I got this answer but yes I will follow your your advice and ask them
In two weeks thank you so much

Hello Mr Simon!
My CN is 2021AF18*** and I need clarification on my case. In December 2020 I wrote to KCC asking them if I can send the supporting documents or if I have to wait for their requesting email. Their reply was “In order to continue processing your case, all documents should be submitted as attachments to your email to ensure they are properly received. We ask that you use the following method to name and attach your files…”; so I sent my documents in December 2020 and surprisingly in March 2021, I got that generic message asking for further documents required. Since, I’ve been writing to them asking if I need to send the documents again or if they are satisfied with the ones I sent and their reply is this message
“Thank you for your inquiry.
Once an interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via email to check dvprogram.state.gov….”. My question is should I send the documents again or keep asking them if that means they haven’t processed the ones I sent?
Thanks for your help

This year is a mess. That email might not mean what it seems to mean – so focus on finding out whether they have processed your documents – or whether they think something is missing.

May 5, 2021 at 21:44
Right now there are risks for most cases. If you feel you have a better chance by moving your case, then you should make your decision and take action.

DV2021 OC13XX. Documents have been processed and case is ready for scheduling (confirmation email received on 04/02/2021 [April]). Getting a little worried that no 2NL has been sent yet. U.S. Consulate Sydney is available to take appointments. Should I continue waiting or email KCC for an update?
Thanks ?
May 5, 2021 at 21:44
There is no harm asking KCC.
May 5, 2021 at 04:07

Hello sir. I would like to know if those who will participate in the lawsuit will pay money to the organizers once in the USA.
May 5, 2021 at 21:45
It depends on the lawsuit. Read the lawyers own instructions to know the details.

Hello, i attended DV interview late Feb, my case shows refused, the Last Date Updated keep changing, what does this mean?
May 5, 2021 at 21:46
The last updated field often gets updated for mundane and unclear reasons – you cannot assume any meaning from the updates.
