Anyone any details about this tweet from Chuck?
#GOh @DV2021 Our @immpactlitigat1 team will be sharing later today information related to at least one consulates request for confirmation of plaintiff status to initiate case processing. There is no need to DM or email. All plaintiffs will receive the information. @immlawACHall

Hi BritSimon, hope you are keeping well and thank you for the amazing job you continue to do for the DV selectees family.
My question is, many of us have sent our supporting documents to KCC without KCC requesting for these documents.
Are we still going to receive the request to send documents email from KCC before they will finally send congratulations message email that we are now documentary qualified.
Thank you
June 13, 2021 at 14:30
Some people have received requests to send documents after they have proactively sent documents and others have received ready for scheduling even though they were not asked to send documents.
June 13, 2021 at 23:20
Hi Simon, my case number is 2021AS19*** and I reside in canada. Unfortunately, I have not registered for the Goodluck lawsuit and the Montreal consulate is not processing the DV cases. I have submitted my documents as I were asked to, but now I wonder if there is anything else I can do. I would appreciate your advice. Thank you
June 15, 2021 at 05:21
Nothing else but hope.
June 14, 2021 at 01:25
hi britsimon,
my wife is principal applicant and her passport will be expired in 2025. But, my passport will be expired in september 16, 2021.We sent our documents to kcc one week ago. i thought that i could renew my passport before interview. and show both passports (new-old) during the interview
Do you think that we can get documents approval or should i urgently renew my passport and send documents to kcc again ?
thanks in advance
June 15, 2021 at 05:24
It doesn’t matter. Just renew for the interview.
June 14, 2021 at 23:59
Hello Brit,
Thanks for your support.
I am a selectee with cn 2022af12×××.
I submitted my ds-260 form on 12th May.
With the education requirement,I only entered for my University education(degree) but not my secondary education.
I sent a mail to kcc on the 15th may for them to unlock but have not received any feedback yet aside the auto-mail.
1. Please will it be necessary to send another mail since ive had not response for over 4weeks?
2. How soon can i send my documents if i don’t receive the 1NL?
3. How soon can i scheduled for an interview?
4. My passport expires july 2022. Will i have to renew my passport for a pending interview considering the time?
Please waiting on your response
Thanks
June 15, 2021 at 06:24
1. Ask again.
2. Just wait a few weeks.
3. Maybe November/December
4. I would renew before interview.
June 15, 2021 at 07:54
Thank you Simon for your response.
First question is will i have to send a second mail to kcc to unlock my ds-260 after i sent one 4weeks ago purposely to add my secondary education?
June 16, 2021 at 04:10
If it is not already unlocked, yes.
June 12, 2021 at 11:51
Hi BritSimon
Hope you have a nice day,
I won the DV 2022 and i made these two mistakes when i was filling the entry on October last year and i want your opinion in it.
First: my name on the passport contains four parts (John Jack Jemmy Jordan) and on the entry i only entered three names (John Jack Jordan) without my grandpa name, will that lead to the denial of my visa?
Second: I was born in a city and in the entry i filled a different city, but the country is the same, will that lead to the denial of my visa?
Note that i corrected everything in my DS 260 form
thanks in advance!
June 13, 2021 at 14:40
1. No.
2. No
June 12, 2021 at 12:53
Dear Brit Simon,
I’m a dv 2022 selectee from Asia and with me will apply my wife and our newborn son.
A few questions please;
1. My wife was previously a Permanent resident until she surrendered her green card in 2015. Ever since she visited the US using her tourist visa (this tourist visa was given to her at the US consulate on the day she surrendered her green card, without any question asked and no formal non-immigrant visa application).
Will the fact she was previously a Permanent resident may jeopardize our immigrant application now in any way?
2. During the time my wife was living in the US she was both on a F1 visa status and later on she became a permanent resident (marriage based).
Does this mean she is still exempt from providing a US “clear criminal records” form even though for some part of the time she lived there she was on a F1 status?
3. My stepdaughter, who is a US citizen and was not included in my dv entry is obviously also not included in our application and we are planing on listing her as “no intend to immigrate to the US” at this point, however as part of the necessary documentation we need to provide her NY birth certificate anyway.
In this birth certificate from 16 years ago my wife’s first name was misspelled and for some unexplained reason my wife never bothered correcting it. Do you think it’s important to make sure it’s corrected before we send this document in with the rest of the documents?
4. My wife was born in a european country to a Russian mother. My wife’s main nationality however is not Russian. When my wife was a child her parents got her a Russian passport that was never used and got expired long time ago. Ever since then there is no record of this passport and we can’t find it.
How do you suggest dealing with this on the ds260. Shall we mention this or not?
My wife can’t remember if she ever mentioned this detail in previous non immigrant or immigrant applications she had.
5. We currently consider starting the process of applying for a European passport for both myself and my newborn child. It will be a marriage based application for myself and for my newborn it will be based on his mother’s nationality.
Would you suggest postponing this process for after the interview will occur (if we ever get current of course), Or it makes no difference?
If it doesn’t matter, how do you suggest dealing with it if we will receive our European passports after we will already submit the ds260 but right before our interview?
Thank you so much for your time and help for so many clueless people.
June 13, 2021 at 14:50
1. No
2. No police certs needed for USA from anyone.
3. No
4. She has Russian nationality – she should mention that.
5. No difference – use your own judgement.
Your case number will impact timing of the DV case – so it would have helped to have given that.
June 13, 2021 at 16:46
Thank you so much for your reply. Case number is AS13xxx
June 13, 2021 at 17:46
OK – so that means you have a long time to wait before interview – probably mid 2022.
June 12, 2021 at 14:18
Hi Simon, I’m selected DV Lottery and physically in the US on F1 visa. I’ve been watching your YouTube videos and find it very useful. But still not sure with many things about the procedure so I would grateful if you can answer my questions.
1. I just submitted my ds260 with my current passport but I’m also getting a new passport because the current one is expiring in August 2021. Should I just attached both passports when I submit my documents? What should I do with my passports?
2. If I want to apply as Adjustments of status, should I still go through the same process submitting DS260 and schedule my interview in region where I’m now ? What should I do ?
June 13, 2021 at 14:53
Case number (with year and region)?
June 12, 2021 at 14:48
hi Simon.. Dv202185XXX and I applied for the Curtis suit… please I wish to find out what it means to be granted a paralegal.. I got a mail from a suppose lawyer saying he’s the paralegal from Curtis Morrison in charge of my case and I’m sure other cases…
Is it okay to keep working with him or should I contact the Cutis team to know what’s going on?
Thanks.
June 13, 2021 at 14:56
A paralegal is essentially an assistant. So they are simply a part of the legal team for Curtis.
June 12, 2021 at 15:47
Hi Brit Simon,
My case number is AS32k. I have sent my documents since early April and have asked KCC if they are complete, but still havent gotten any reply yet from KCC.
I live in Sydney, Australia. Do you think I might have a chance to be scheduled with this little remaining time?
Thank you.
June 13, 2021 at 14:57
Maybe – I can’t be certain.
June 12, 2021 at 17:47
Hello Brit
I am a DV 2022 winner but physically present in the U.S as a student (F1). My case number is 2022AF0003X,XXX. I read about the adjustment of status (I-485) and completing the DS 260. I am somehow confused with which one to begin with. Can you kindly walk me through the procedure please.
June 13, 2021 at 15:00
On the link below there is a link from the first post. It has full details of the AOS process. Study that.

June 14, 2021 at 21:42
That helps. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it Brit.
June 12, 2021 at 18:32
Hey Brit, I’m a Goh plaintiff I have a question concerning the information to be provided, I have sent information to the lawyers (full name , full case number, my location) howerver I haven’t entered my date of birth because it wasn’t in the field of information that i should provied, my question is that important? should be a problem if i didnt put my date of birth? thank you for your reply
regards.
June 13, 2021 at 15:00
Ask them.
June 12, 2021 at 18:42
Hi Simon, good morning
Hope u r doing well
I m confused about present work. After complete my high school I have 2yr gappe. I m jobless because of lockdown(Covid-19) so, what happen if I showed unemploy on my ds260 form? They can disqualify me. I hope you will reply my question soon.
Thank you.
June 13, 2021 at 15:01
No problem, just tell the truth.
June 12, 2021 at 20:17
Hello Brit,
Following your last live on youtube about documents, you’ve advised lottery 2022 members to start sending their documents anyway
My question: my case is 2022AS22xxx and I have submitted dv260 since 12 May 2022
Do you advice me to send documents anytime sooner ?!
Or I should wait till January since my case number is high?!
Is there any time frame you advice me to send the bloody documents?!
We appreciate your help dear
Thanks
June 13, 2021 at 15:01
Your number is probably quite high so no need to rush. Wait a couple of months before we know more.
June 12, 2021 at 21:59
Hi Simon,
I’m a DV2022 winner and my case number is 3xxx. I’m based in Saudi Arabia. I already sent the DS260 to KCC over a month ago. My question is should I send the supporting documents now or wait for KCC email that asks me to submit the documentation? In Saudi Arabia, COVID-19 cases are under control. All embassies and consulates are working. The rate of the new covid-19 cases has been stable for the past two months. Until now, over 14 million covid-19 doses have been given. In the light of this situation, do you think it’d better for us to send the supporting documents now or should we just wait until further instructions from the KCC? Thanks for your help and advice.
June 13, 2021 at 15:09
If it were me, I would probably wait a few weeks to be asked, and then send documents anyway.
June 12, 2021 at 22:35
Hi Brit
KCC agreed to change my interview location from Accra to Dublin as requested. There were 29 dv2021 selectees here altogether and the embassy has hitherto accepted dv cases. I’ve submitted my supporting documents but not yet dq’d. At the time of submitting the documents I was only a couple of months here so I sent only one police certificate from my home country. Now, It’ll be my 6th month here in Ireland next month and I’m wondering if I’ll have to send a new police certificate from Ireland to kcc.
Kind regards,
June 13, 2021 at 15:09
You will need it for the interview, not for KCC.
June 12, 2021 at 23:32
Hi Brit !
I’m a DV2022 Selectee and my case number is 47XXX; AF Zone.
Is it possible from now to know how many CN is there on front to me? I saw throug “CEAC DATA” that it’s possible for DV 2021 Winners.
Thank you in advance
June 13, 2021 at 15:11
It is too early to know that. In a couple of months we will know more.
June 13, 2021 at 01:14
Hi Britsimon
I am a DV 2021 winner, CN AS178XXand submitted all the documents for my self and family members. Do you think it’s good to join the lawsuit with my high CN?
June 13, 2021 at 15:13
Too late to join a lawsuit.
June 13, 2021 at 02:56
Hi Simon. I have couple of questions.
1, How Gomez plaintiffs’s case were processed last September? I heard government mainly focused on processing cases that are already scheduled but canceled.
2, For the Goh case, once decision and court order made, how plaintiffs’ case will be processed? Will they still send “documents confirmation” mail and 2NL as usual? I am asking because I am wondering how counsel and KCC handling 900 cases within two months frame.
3, Should I schedule medical ahead assume we will be scheduled in September? Because I heard some plaintiffs did not have a time to get medical check up before interview due to the short time frame after court order made. (from Gomez case)
4, Will case that is already received RFS mail, scheduled interview faster compare who is not within Goh plaintiffs? (after court order)
Thanks always!
June 13, 2021 at 15:17
1. Correct. Of the 7k visas issues, around 5k were not newly scheduled interviews.
2. Goh cases are already seeing some movement on their cases. That is what you want to see – early action.
3. No. It’s June.
4. Maybe.
June 13, 2021 at 03:13
Hi brit
I am a plaintiff in Goh case.
I have two big concerns.
1- my CN is high
2- US embassy in Baghdad stopped their all activities because of security concerns and threats of terrorist groups.
My question is :
1- Am I having any chances of getting processed?
2- if my case was processed but US embassy in Baghdad is not working, does lawyers in Goh case help me transfer my case to another embassy?
June 13, 2021 at 15:18
1. Maybe
2. I don’t know – ask them.
June 13, 2021 at 04:49
Hi Simon
Dv2021 AF32k. Kcc responded to my inquiry on June 3
Thank you for your inquiry.
Your forms have been received and are currently processing. Allow several weeks for processing. Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing. Once the Kentucky Consular Center has finished processing your DS-260, you will receive an email from the Kentucky Consular Center giving you instructions to complete in order for your case to continue processing.
What should I do now
1. Send the documents again without being asked or wait
2. US embassy in Islamabad Pakistan is working and there are only 3 Dv cases
June 13, 2021 at 15:23
1. Your chance of getting an interview is very low, but the chance of getting an interview without documents is ZERO%. So send the documents.
June 13, 2021 at 05:11
Hello Brit,
I am DV2021 winner and applied for a change of interview location about a 5 weeks ago. Now I got a reply confirming the change.
“Based on the information you have provided, your interview location has been changed from xxxx to yyyy. The new interview location will not appear on your DS-260, but will be used by KCC for scheduling purposes. When we have scheduled your interview, you will be required to log into the Entrant Status Check (ESC) to view your appointment notification….”
Question
What should be understood from the statement: ” When we have scheduled your interview, you will be required to log into the….” . Is this an indication that there is room for hope that I will be scheduled for interview or is it just an automatic response. My visa application status is still “At NVC”. Already have provided supporting documents without a request from KCC.
June 13, 2021 at 15:24
It’s just a standard email, doesn’t infer anything.
June 13, 2021 at 07:25
Hi Brit,
I would like to know which CN is current for the AF region.
Thank you!
June 13, 2021 at 15:25
All DV2021 numbers are current.
June 13, 2021 at 08:29
Hello Brit,
Regarding DV2022, I have these concerns regarding the DS260:
1. I did not include my child in DV entry as he is U.S. citizen (by birth), so should I do the same in DS260? And what is the right answer for the question ( Will this child Immigrate to U.S. with you? )
2. My wife is the principal applicant (winner), She was working as a pharmacist in a hospital in Jordan. She is now on temporary long vacation for child care since July 2019 and she left Jordan and moved to Kuwait but she can resume her work at any time. The Interview will be in Kuwait. In primary occupation question, should we answer with Homemaker, Not employed or pharmacist in XX hospital?
3. As a pharmacist, in below 2 questions many people advice us to answer NO because she will not work with her profession:
-Are you a health care worker seeking to perform such work in the U.S. but have not yet received certification from the commission……?
-Are you a graduate of a foreign medical school seeking to perform medical services but have not passed the national board of examiners……?
What is your advice?
I appreciate your time. Thanks in advance.
June 13, 2021 at 15:31
1. No problem. List the child and say he is not emigrating with you.
2. Whatever is accurate.
3. Those questions are unimportant for DV, but just answer them honestly.
June 13, 2021 at 09:59
Hi Simon,
Are you well?
The court directed DV2021 plaintiffs of the Goodluck lawsuit to file a second amended complaint which properly alleges class action and file a renewed motion of class certification and preliminary injunctive relief.
Does this mean the above case now somehow covers all the DV2021 selectees.
Thanks alot Brit.
June 13, 2021 at 12:01
I dont think that is right. Jacob is asking for class cert.
June 13, 2021 at 15:36
Agreed Paulie. But in any case it is not “done” yet.
June 13, 2021 at 15:35
No
June 13, 2021 at 10:23
Hello britsimon
Am a kenyan with CN 2022AF55×× curently working in united arab of emirates, will my interview be scheduled in my curent location and do i have an advantage of being interviewed in UAE sooner compared with someone who we have almost the same case number sheduled to be interviewed in kenya.
June 13, 2021 at 15:35
You interview where you reside currently.
No advantage.
June 13, 2021 at 13:51
hi brit, in dv 2020 around September was their any cases that got their ds260 and documents processed (that was not processed in earlier months) and visas issued for named plaintiffs after judge’s ruling
June 13, 2021 at 15:37
Yes
June 13, 2021 at 15:29
Hi Simon. Do DV2021 winners benefit from the NIE which was granted earlier this year for travelling to the US? If I travel from a travel ban country such as the UK, can I travel directly from London? Thanks
June 13, 2021 at 15:38
Yes
June 13, 2021 at 15:58
Hi BritSimon
DV 2021 winners are racing against time because the fiscal year end on 30th September 2021. I think I also made a similar mistake of not listing my secondary education. Although I listed my ba(hons) and Bsc(hons) and Masters degree and other professional qualifications. Although I didn’t list my secondary education, I have sent the secondary school certificate to KCC as part of sending documents to KCC.
Considering the time we have as DV 2021 winners, do you believe it is a good decision for me ask KCC to unlock my ds260 so I could update the secondary education?
June 13, 2021 at 16:05
No. Just leave it as it is.
June 13, 2021 at 16:24
Thank you so much BritSimon
June 13, 2021 at 16:17
Thank you Simon, my case number is 2022SA00000XXX, and We are from Venezuela.
June 13, 2021 at 16:24
So that is a low case number (if you are indicating the number is under 1000), so you could choose to send the documents early.
June 13, 2021 at 16:26
Hello BRIT and a big thank you once again for the sacrifice, my case number is 2021AF00022XXX I have received this email from Kcc since March 18, 2021 and I would like to have your opinion on this, thank you in advance for your reply.
The Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) has received your email and is currently processing your documents. This email address, [email protected], is only used for applicants to provide the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) with documents required to continue processing Diversity Visa applications. [email protected] does not respond to inquiries. If you have any Diversity Visa related questions, please email [email protected] with your case number, complete name, and date of birth, as entered on your original entry.
Document processing generally takes 3-6 weeks. Please give us time to complete that process before sending questions about your application.
June 13, 2021 at 16:28
Opinion about what?
June 13, 2021 at 16:55
Hello brit,
Please i would like to know if the i 134 form must be filled by hand or electronically.
Or it doesn’t matter?
Thanks
June 13, 2021 at 17:45
Doesn’t matter.
June 14, 2021 at 05:58
Thank you
June 13, 2021 at 17:05
Hi brit, my cn is 2022SA*****6**. I have a few questions so please be patient with me.
1- I’m currently living with my wife at her home but that’s not my ID address, so wich one should I put on my ds-260?
2- we are both university students, not graduated yet, so what should I put on higher degree?
3- we are cubans, so we don’t know where the interview Will be. So we are translating the documents just in case. Should we send the translations to kcc or just for the interview?
4- Should the I-134 be sended to kcc or just for the interview?
5- On petitioner info my wife should put SELF or SPOUSE.
Thanks a million
June 13, 2021 at 17:44
1. Actual residence.
2. In the education section you list education completed, and your current occupation is where you will list your current course.
3. That would be wise.
4. Just for the interview, and you only present it if asked.
5. Spouse if you were the principal selectee.
June 13, 2021 at 17:32
Hello brit .am from Kenya and my case no is 2021AF00019XXX. Right now the maximum CN under interview in Kenya is 9500. Do you think I have a chance of getting interviewed before the end of this fiscal year in september?
June 13, 2021 at 17:42
Maybe.
June 13, 2021 at 17:36
Hi Simon,
Hope you are well!
Dv2021 EU28xx. After a month, KCC responded to my inquiry on June 11.
Thank you for your inquiry.
Your case number is now current for interview processing. Once the interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via email to check https://dvprogram.state.gov. If you need to make changes to your DS-260 you should contact the consular section where you will be interviewed, or bring the information about your changes to your interview appointment. Because your case is ready to be scheduled, KCC can no longer unlock your application.(Is this just a formal answer or does it show any difference from ready for scheduling e-mail?)
US embassy in my country, Albania has scheduled few interviews until now, approximately 7 interviews/month (around cn 1700, for July interviews) inviting only single applicants(exluding couples and families). In this conditions do you see possible to get an interview (meaning KCC will continue to increase the invitations or situation will be the same)?…I am a single applicant and my documents are confirmed in August.
Thank you!
June 13, 2021 at 17:42
It’s possible, but of course have to wait and see.
June 13, 2021 at 17:57
Buenas tardes Simón , soy venezolano seleccionado dv2020 , estamos en la demanda de kennedy , ahora estamos en uSA como turista , quería saber de las 9095 visas que se salvaron , entro yo en esas visas?
June 13, 2021 at 18:05
Please post oin English only.
The final decision by Judge Mehta has not happened yet – so there is no news.
June 13, 2021 at 23:35
Thank you, I just don’t know whether to do an extension of stay, or apply for the tps, until we have a final decision, and thanks again
June 15, 2021 at 05:22
You have to decide for yourself.
June 13, 2021 at 18:23
Hi Simon am dv 2022 winner with case number AF38000 and I completed the DS 260 and indicated that am not working hoping to get job soon will this affect my chance of processing or can I ask to unlock my DS 260, Thank you
June 15, 2021 at 05:14
It has no impact.
June 13, 2021 at 18:41
Mr Brit
I do greatly appreciate your immense support given for DV lottery winners. I have been following you for more than four years.
I have won 2020 DV and awaiting to 9095 Visa issuance and there I am in Group no 05.
And I am lucky enough to win 2022 DV lottery . My No DV 2022 As 20***.
I watched your yesterday vedio and it said that send documents even you have high case number.
So I already submit my DS 260 AND PLANING to send documents which does not have any changes my documents except renewal police certificates of my self and my Spouce. I have already done that.
1. If I used same set of scanned copies which I sent for the DV 2020 will it be a problem? (Except I have to only scanned new police certificates)
2. Do I still need to submit expired police certificate (which were submitted for DV 2020)
With renewal Police certificates for DV2022.
3. My spouse had been lived UK for one year (2009) and not visited again once left the UK.
So already got the police certificate and submitted for DV 2020.
Will it be possible to use same police certificate for the DV 2022 as well.?( It was issued Feb 2020 and already expired. But not visited UK one my Spouce left in 2009.)
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
June 15, 2021 at 05:15
1. No
2. The police certs are valid for 2 years now, but if you can get renewed ones, do that.
3. Use the old one.
June 13, 2021 at 18:56
Hello Simon,
Please help with the following questions:
1.This will seem like a silly question, but I want to be sure. In Education Section, i saw in one of your live videos saying that applicant must list down their education from age 12 and above, so do i need to list down my education from Grade 9 and above or do i list it from high school degree and above.
2. I have Technical High School diploma, does this type of school equivalent to USA high school diploma and would this be acceptable by the CO
3. In Education Level, high school course of study please indicate “Academic” or “Vocational”, As mentioned before I have a Technical High School Diploma which is considered satisfactory in my country for continuing onto higher education, so do i select Vocational or Academic.
4. Technical Diploma is usually given by Vocational Institutes, if i insert Academic instead of Vocational, will this considered as misrepresentation?
5. the requirements say “at least high school”, i have bachelor degree, so will this make a difference?
June 15, 2021 at 05:17
1. Most recent first, working backwards.
2. Just drop the word technical.
3. Academic.
4. No because it clearly is general education that can lead to any career. Vocational means specific to one skill/profession.
5. It might help make things easier.

hello Simon, hope you’re doing great!
I had a question, I haven’t filled out the DS-260 form yet because I’m waiting to finish college and get my degree, will this affect on how sooner or how later I get interviewed my case number 2022AS21xxx
and if I fill it out later like in a month, will my chances be gone in getting interviewed?
June 15, 2021 at 05:17
You are not late there is plenty of time – months.

Hi Simon. I am a DV2022 EU16xxx selectee. Both myself and my wife were born in country A but currently live in Canada and both have Canadian citizenship too. For primary nationality, I indicated A and for secondary – Canada. For my wife, I did opposite (Canada being primary) as her passport from A expires in August 2022 and she might not have a chance to renew her passport by our interview. Is it Ok? Or, she needs to indicate A as primary and make every effort to get it renewed?
June 15, 2021 at 05:21
She can use either passport.

Hi,
Case # 2021AS00011xxx
We have already joined the Goodluck case.
I am seeing Larry R Glazer is filing a suit for specific consulates which includes ours (Riyadh). As per Save Diversity Visa up to July only 16 cases were scheduled in Riyadh and all are from AF region. Do you think it’s wise to be in two law suits. Larry FAQ doesnot mention whether you are allowed to participate or not if you are a named plaintiff in another suit.
June 15, 2021 at 05:22
No
June 15, 2021 at 07:46
Dear Yas,
For your kind information, i am scheduled in Riyadh Embassy for July. Case 2021AS3XXX. It is not shown in the statistics as case status is still “In Transit”. The actual number could be more than 16 cases in Riyadh.

Great – understood.

Hey Brit. 2021OC5xx…. Goh plantiff and not yet received 2nl for a Sydney interview. I read in an earlier question a suggestion of emailing KCC to let them know we are plantiffs to potentially help things along. My doccuments were accepted some months ago so i have no other questions for KCC. Not sure if I should wait for further instruction from lawsuit or be a squeaky wheel and email ? Thanks so much for steering us all through this
June 15, 2021 at 05:23
Squeak.
June 15, 2021 at 05:38

Hello Simon
I finished my level 7 and Master Degrees from UK through the University representative agent office in my country and I went to UK for graduation ceremony only. The length of study is for two years and I need to fill the university name and address in DS260. So which address should I include? noting that the agent name is different from university name. Will KCC returns back asking for Police certificate from UK. Shall I include distance learning in address box?
June 15, 2021 at 05:26
UK address. If you resided there you may need a police cert.
June 14, 2021 at 05:25
Dear Simon,
I hope you are still going strong.
I am 2021AF5K. Though I had completed my DS260 and was requested for documents and submitted them in September 2020. I got ready for scheduling email in mid March this year.
As you said a few days ago, some 2NLs will be send after the visa bulletin presumably this week.
What is the probability of me receiving the expected 2NLs this week.
Thanks.
June 15, 2021 at 05:26
I don’t know.
June 14, 2021 at 07:03
Hi Simon – regarding the latest update by DOS about extending the validity period of PC’s to 2 yrs. Does the 2 year validity period apply to all countries (that is my understanding)? My PC expires on 15 Aug 2021 and I would be grateful if you could please clarify your understanding about this change. 21AF25xxx and Goh plaintiff.
By the way, I submitted my ds260’s on Aug27 ’20 and supporting documents on Oct 09 ’20, I received confirmation of both actions as well as monthly email responses from KCC that they have everything and I should allow for several weeks to process… I don’t buy their argument presented on Friday in Jacob case. Thank you for your time and effort.

June 15, 2021 at 05:31
2 years all countries.
You don’t have to “buy” their argument. I really don’t understand why Curtis made it seem such a surprise. It is common sense, and exactly what I have explained before. You submitted your case late enough that there was by then a backlog and they never got close to processing your case number range. All of that is stuff I have been explaining for many months, and contrary to what Curtis said there is no rule that said they had to process in strict order. He just plucked that from his imagination.
June 14, 2021 at 07:21
Hi Brit, I and another 6 people from Romania received last week mail from KCC that we are DQ and ready for sheduling as soon there are appointments available. Does this mean that we should receive 2NL soon? Can we start hopping again? At Bucharest Embassy were 17 interviews in the end of April/beginning of May. Since then was silence at Bucharest Embassy for DV, even that they process even J visas and working normal. My CN is EU11.3xx
June 15, 2021 at 05:32
Receiving that email does not guarantee an interview.
June 14, 2021 at 07:52
Hi, just a very quick question. I am about to submit my DS-260 as a 2022 application winner. Only question I am stuck on is “do you have documentation to establish that you have recieved vaccinations in accordance to the u.s?” Will it matter if I put yes or no. I have been told that you have to put yes but I also read that you said it doesn’t matter what you put. I intend on getting all the vaccines on or before the medical exam. What do you advise?
Thank you.
June 14, 2021 at 13:14
It does not matter, but for 99% of people a NO and a comment is closer to the truth.

June 15, 2021 at 05:33
No is the more accurate answer (because you most likely do not have documentation even if you have the vaccinations – but whether you pick yes or no won’t matter.

Hi Simon
I would like to know the extra time added beyond the 21st birthday for DV2021, knowing that my child turned 21 on 04/04/2000.
Thank you.
June 15, 2021 at 05:34
Then read the FAQ.
June 14, 2021 at 09:56
The following is a reply from an embassy knowing that i’am a GOH Plaintiff..
The Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) controls the scheduling for all DV cases. KCC makes its schedules over a month in advance and will contact you directly about your scheduled appointment. The Embassy has already contacted KCC and asked for DV appointments to be scheduled. You will only be scheduled for an interview when and if there is a visa number available for you. Visa number allocations are determined by provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) which determines the number of diversity immigrant visas available each year. The total number of diversity visas is allocated by visa category and region of the world. The allocations are revised monthly as available visas are issued.
June 15, 2021 at 05:35
All accurate.
June 14, 2021 at 11:56
Hi! I have 2 questions in relation to the DV 2021,
1. Since the interviews are deemed to stop by 30th September 2021 and given the current situation, is it possible for them to schedule some interviews after 30th September (say in October 2021)?
2. If one is interviewed at the end of September 2021 and they receive their visa, before when are they expected to go to the US?
Thank you in advance for your time!
June 15, 2021 at 05:38
1. You answered your own question. The ONLY chance for more time would be via lawsuits.
2. Visas are issued with 6 months validity (from the date of the medical), even those issued in late September.
