Hi Brit
thanks for your help in advance
1. What does “occupation” mean in DS260? For example if I have been co-operating somewhere in a part-time way and without any insurance, could that be considered as an occupation and do I have to mention it as my occupation in DS260?
2. Until which step of my procedure or which date exactly we will be able to change the embassy to be interviewed?
3. Is this possible to be invited for the interview before getting current?
October 16, 2021 at 04:17
1. Occupation is a JOB
2. It is possible, but not easy to change the embassy later. So – choose it now and don’t plan to change.
3. No
October 15, 2021 at 17:55
My DV Case number is 2021AS15****, and my status at CEAC was “READY” by 10-Sep-2021. I haven’t received the interview email until now. Now my status is showing ” IN TRANSIT “. Please guide me when can i expect my interview schedule. Also from where i can check my interview schedule online. Please reply at earliest.

Hello Simon, thanks for all that you do here. 3 questions:
1. If a person is already in the USA with a valid non-immigrant visa, does this person fill the same DS260 form for further processing?
2. Is the process be different with applicants who are applying from outside the USA? And if yes, what are the details?
3. What if the country of origin does not issue police certificate?
Thank you
October 16, 2021 at 04:24
1. That person could process via adjustment of status in the USA and in that case the DS260 is optional.
2. Read the guide here: https://forums.immigration.com/threads/dv-2022-aos-adjustment-of-status-only.344334
3. If that is what the reciprocity rules say, then it is not required. PCs are not required for AOS anyway.

Greetings Mr Britsimon
Do you know if the interview for the Oceania region already start? I saw that my case number will be current in November. Still waiting to be DQ. Also do you think the interview will take place accirding to the visa bulletin or no?
October 16, 2021 at 04:26
No it is delayed.
November 1, 2021 at 17:01
Hi,
Have you been requested documents yet?
Ive been waiting since May
November 1, 2021 at 17:21
#Kat
Yes. I completed DS 260 on May 30. Sent my documents proactively on 7th of August. Further documents request on 7th of October. Then I sent it again on the same day with an explanation of why I changed passports during the process. Now am still waiting to be Documentarily Qualified.
November 3, 2021 at 20:28
May 30 would have been a few days after they switched resources to DV2021.
October 16, 2021 at 05:51
Hi Mr. Simon, hope you are doing great. On 24th August I submitted my DS260. I haven’t sent my documents yet. So, Questions:
1- a week ago I requested to unlock my case for updating alternative spelling names. Still no response and no unlocking
2- should I send my documents or wait for having my case unlocked ?
Thank you
October 16, 2021 at 15:06
2. Wait.
October 16, 2021 at 16:27
Will I be notified via email when they unlock my case?
– when sending the documents, should I put the DoB and last & first name in the subject line or only the case number?
– would you be kind enough to put the link of any video if you have made how to send documents to KCC please.
Thanks
October 16, 2021 at 17:14
1. Case number.
2. PLease learn how to search my site or youtube.
October 21, 2021 at 09:46
Hello Simon!
I’m a DV-2022 winner . KCC asked for my documents and i sent them right away then i had an automated reply that they received my documents and that it will take from 3-6 weeks to hear from them back the 6 weeks passed yet they didn’t send me anything so should i be concerned/take an action or not ?
October 21, 2021 at 13:07
Update : I sent them my documents for the second time right now
Sn: first email was submitted 11 September
October 22, 2021 at 03:14
Patience. Ignore the 6 weeks. It will depend on your case number.
October 16, 2021 at 06:03
Hello Simon, DV 2022 selectee with case number AF37XXX , will the law suit affect dv 2022 winners??
October 16, 2021 at 15:06
DV2022 is already affected!
October 20, 2021 at 12:04
Dear Mr. Simon. Frankly I do not have any idea of the Law suit which is often discussed here. Would you mind explaining if possible? Also what does it mean the DV 2022 affected? You mean possible delays or? If so, will there again be this so called law suits? Please excuse if these questions were annoying.
October 22, 2021 at 02:54
I have written much about this and made multiple videos. Take some time to educate yourself.
October 22, 2021 at 16:11
Thank you Mr. Simon, I will do so. I checked in FAQ but seems I missed this info. I will search more.
October 23, 2021 at 13:34
Thanks Mr. Simon, I found some valuable videos. In the FAQ there were loads of information. So as in the videos. Is there a particular one, how and why the Lawsuits, which were spoken frequently started? Can any friend give a link? Thank you.
October 23, 2021 at 19:11
It’s a big topic with many articles and videos. So I don’t have just one to recommend.
October 16, 2021 at 06:08
Good Day Brit,
Trust you are well. I’m a DV 2021 winner and we will be traveling from Johannesburg, South Africa to the Ohio next week. My wife and I have been fully vaccinated but as for our 13 years old son, he has not been vaccinated as vaccine isn’t available for Children yet in South Africa. Would you kindly advise what process should be followed in our case?
Thank you for you time
October 16, 2021 at 16:57
I don’t know specifics for your situation.
October 18, 2021 at 06:40
@Gabriel – on 20 October, they are opening the 12-17 year old age group for one shot Pfizer vaccine, here in South Africa.
October 16, 2021 at 06:12
Hello Simon,
I am a Gomez Diversity Class Members and still hoping for a happy ending. 🙂 I entered and ‘won’ the DV2020 lottery based on my country of birth (France). Would it be an issue if i apply for British citizenship while waiting? I would then have dual citizenship.
Many thanks.
Warm wishes,
C
October 16, 2021 at 16:58
No.
October 16, 2021 at 17:22
Thanks so much, Simon!x
October 16, 2021 at 15:55
Hi brit
DV 2020 winner. DQ received. South Asian country winner.
Around AS28XXX number.
1.How long filled I-134 form & other sponsor document valid?
2. What is the “RANDOM” order of selection of 9095 visas, did it mentioned already by KCC?
Thanks.
Bye,
October 16, 2021 at 17:13
1. You would get a recent one and updated supporting documents just before the interview.
2. The random aspect probably means case number, but KCC might prioritize based on DQ date.
October 16, 2021 at 16:57
Dear BritSimon,
My dad got selected in the DV Lottery on May 8th this year (DV Lottery 2022). His number is under 100. I have emailed his supporting documents, and when I asked KCC.
I received an email seven weeks later that they did not have his documents.
I’ve emailed them again and asked them again, but I’ve not heard back from them.
Now, my question is that do you suggest sending them certified mail regarding my question?
In addition, do you think there is a problem that we have not heard anything about the scheduled time for the interview?
What do you suggest us to do at this point?
Thank you again for making great YouTube videos and helping people like us in this process.
Best Regards,
Zahra
October 16, 2021 at 17:30
Did you submit the DS260? When?
October 16, 2021 at 20:59
Yes I did submitted the DS260 and the confirmation. It was Jun 3rd 2021.
October 16, 2021 at 23:16
So – be patient.
October 16, 2021 at 18:03
Good day Brit, hope you are well
Please I need your take on this one. I submitted ds260 already CN Af13xxx dv2022 but realised I made an error in my address since I turned 16.
Instead of 19th July 2016 I rather put 19th July 2017.
Please is this something I should unlock the ds260 for to change or do I explain myself at the interview.
Thank you
October 16, 2021 at 18:48
Won’t matter.
October 16, 2021 at 18:19
Hello, I just entered USA and I am DV2021 winner from Asia. I wanted to ask that how can I apply for my Green Card.
October 16, 2021 at 18:47
It will be applied for automatically.
October 17, 2021 at 00:21
Am Dv 2022 selectee, AF37xxx when will I be likely to be interviewed??
October 17, 2021 at 00:27
No predictions.
October 17, 2021 at 04:32
Dear Simon,
Thanks for doing the Lord’s work!
I am the principal applicant and our Case Number is 2022OC000007XX. My spouse and I have submitted our completed DS-260 on 23 May 2021. Both my Wife & I had previously resided in Beijing, China (i.e. for more than 12-months after turning 16) and are currently living in Hong Kong (have been doing so for the past 5-years) – we are both neither Chinese nor Hong Kong nationals! We wish to follow your advice to pro-actively email our documents to KCC despite having not yet received a Request for Documents email. However, we have the following issues related to the China & Hong Kong police certificate processes:
– Hong Kong will not let you apply for a police certificate unless you first present a letter from a requesting Country (i.e. the USA) Embassy/Immigration stating why a police check is needed.
– China does not provide online resources to directly apply online for a police check and, with the current COVID travel restrictions, it is not feasible for us to travel to China to do this process in person, as required.
We’d greatly appreciate your thoughts on whether to send the documents that we do have (i.e. minus the 2 points above) to KCC proactively first, or whether we still need to sit and wait for their Document Request email.
We’re considering sending alternate evidence such as PDF letters explaining our situational difficulties and/or appointment letters indicating our intention to book an appointment for a Hong Kong police check.
Thank you in advance!
October 17, 2021 at 15:57
You are expected to send a complete set of documents. If you have studied the reciprocity pages for the countries concerned, and accurately followed the process, then you can send written explanation of that with your documents.
October 17, 2021 at 04:50
Hi Brit,
I have three questions please. We got document qualified and our number is current for December 2022. We haven’t gotten yet the interview email.
1- My husband is the principal applicant for DV2022. His parents passed away. He has the original death certificate of his father but a copy of his mother’s death certificate. In order for him to get a substitute certificate for his mother in Saudi Arabia, the procedures could take ages. If we take the copy of death certificate, would it be acceptable by the US embassy?
2- We got our police certificates in May 2021. Do we need to get new ones for the interview?
3- You have mentioned several times that all the DV winners should submit the I-134 form (sponsor). We are based in Saudi Arabia, we are a family of three, and we have more than 30,000 US dollars. Do we still need to submit this form?
Many thanks for your help and time.

Hello Sabrina
my case similar to your case and my interview at SA Riyadh.
may i know when you submitted you DS-260 and your documents .?
thanks
October 17, 2021 at 21:47
Hello Eddei
Our case number is 2022AS32XX. We’re a family of three. My husband is the main applicant and my little son and myself are derivatives.
– We submitted DS260 on May 10, 2021.
– We sent the documents without being asked on July 22,2021.
– KCC sent us a request to send the documents on August 11, 2021. We sent all the required documents again to them on the same day (August 11)
– We get DQ on November 20,2021.
– Our number is current for December bulletin 2021.
How about you? did you Know If any one get interview in Riyadh?
October 18, 2021 at 06:11
Hello Sabrina
Thanks for your quick response
Our case number is 2022AS2XXX. We’re a family of four.
– Submitted DS260 early July, 2021.
– Sent the documents without being asked on August 2021.
– Didn’t hear anything from KCC yet , that’s why i asked you my question
so far i don’t hear anybody get interviewed in Riyadh Embassy, but the Embassy is working with full capacity.
you may have your interview next month, or you can communicate with your Riyadh embassy and check your case number since you are already DQ
do you mind to communicate with you or your husband for update since we are living in same place and our interview location is the same.
October 17, 2021 at 15:59
1. They won’t ask for death certs of parents.
2. No – they are accepted up to 2 years old.
3. Possibly. The advice is to have it ready to avoid delays.
October 17, 2021 at 12:51
Hi,
I just entered USA on Friday so do I need to apply for social security card and green card and if yes how can I apply it please, I am DV2021 Winner
thanks
October 17, 2021 at 16:05
In your DS260 there was a question about having the SSN applied for automatically. If you selected that option, you should wait (normally about 3 weeks). Otherwise make an appointment at the local SSA office.
October 17, 2021 at 15:27
I am winner of dv2022 I can apply for dv2023?
October 17, 2021 at 16:52
Yes
October 17, 2021 at 16:02
If I win the lottery as a single applicant, then get married soon after results are announced, will that create problems for me? Will they question the motivation behind my marriage?
October 17, 2021 at 16:52
If it is a genuine marriage it should be OK
October 17, 2021 at 16:55
Dear Brit,
I have received first notification letter :
My case is ready to be scheduled for interview
As English isn’t my first language I didn’t understand how to check the progress for my case, can you help me to understand that?
I will quote:
All DV 2022 interviews must be concluded by September 30, 2022. Please refer to the visa bulletin at travel.state.gov to locate the current numbers being processed. This bulletin is updated after the 15th day of each month. Once an interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via the email address listed on your DS-260 to check dvprogram.state.gov for details.
If your case becomes current and you have not received notification to check dvprogram.state.gov, you may contact [email protected] to confirm all of your documents have been received, and that you are ready to be scheduled for an interview. This notice does not necessarily confirm that all your documents have been received or are acceptable.
I just need explaining about above quote from their email.
Info about my CN:
High case number in Asia region 2022
Thank you in advance
October 17, 2021 at 18:12
You won’t get an interview until you number is current.
October 17, 2021 at 17:13
Hello sir.
You might know the situation in Afghanistan at this moment. Most people can’t get passports because of the current political crisis. Do they qualify to apply for DV-2023 without passport or their electronic ID cards?
October 17, 2021 at 18:11
No one has said they “qualify” to do that, but people in that position can enter and hope for a positive decision later.
October 17, 2021 at 18:25
Hi Mr. Simon, hope you are doing great
I am the winner of the 2022 lottery visa
I mistyped my military rank when filling out the DS260 . I also mistyped my parents name. Should I unlock the form or tell the officer before the interview?
October 17, 2021 at 18:36
If your case number is high you might as well correct those things by unlocking.
October 17, 2021 at 18:48
Hi Brit,
2022AF00031XXX, Cairo Egypt.
Last May I submitted by DS-260, sent my documents and already got the ready for Scheduling email Last month.
Recently, I got relocated by work to Muscat and got a issued a temporary work residence here. I will now have to Unlock my DS-260 to update my present address as its important information to add, then I will have to resend again the same Docs i sent before to KCC but adding the Omani police certificate with them ( Im not sure wether i’ll be more than six month here or not )
My Three questions are :
1) After I unlock my ds-260 to update my present address and resend Docs, Will i be expecting to receive a second ” ready for scheduling ” email from KCC ? or not because i already received one before?
2)Should i resend all the same documents again after updating the DS-260 or just the Police certificate ?
3) Will updating the DS-260 cause any delay to my case ? As per your youtube videos its an important factor along with the case number. In other means, Will KCC use the First submission or the second submission date after updating the DS-260?
Thank you Brit.
October 17, 2021 at 20:26
1. No
2. All
3. No

October 18, 2021 at 03:34
Hi Simon,
Are there people that got Visas with a bit of shadow behind of their ears, like I tried my best and everything is perfect just that a bit of not strong shadow is behind my ears?
Is there a possibility I will pass?
October 18, 2021 at 03:52
Stop overthinking trivial details.
October 18, 2021 at 04:25
Hi Simon
2022OC12XX here. I received my ready for scheduling /DQ email a few backs and since then have discovered I didn’t list my high school information just my degree. Am now waiting for KCC to unlock. Couple of questions:
1) How do I change my interview location to Taiwan if I am moving there next month?
2) Can I hold off resubmitting the DS 260 until I have a permanent address?
2) Will holding off resubmitting the DS260 change my DQ date?
3) Should I send all supporting docs again after resubmitting the DS260?
October 18, 2021 at 04:43
1. Unlock the DS260 – it’s in the FAQ
2. Your choice, but I would not recommend it.
3. It might cause some problem if you leave it a long time.
4. Only if they have changed.
October 20, 2021 at 03:04
Hey KL. When did you submit your DS260?
October 18, 2021 at 04:54
Hello Mr. Simon
Thank you very much for your videos and posts
I live with her as a couple for 8 year, we have 2 children but we don’t have any legal papers to prove this. Then we broke up because she ran after another man, I could not find her now. The children are with me. I want to apply for DV 2023 my question is:
1. Which one should I choose in the marital status?
2. I want to add my children (they have only birth certificate), is this will be disqualified?
3. Should I add their mother in the DV form or not? and what are your thoughts?
Sorry my English not good.
Your help is very very highly appreciated.
Thank you.
October 19, 2021 at 02:00
1. If you were never married you are single.
2. No, if you FAIL to list them you will be disqualified.
3. No, not if you were not married.
October 18, 2021 at 07:26
Hello Mr Simon. Hope you are doing well. My apologises for my long letter.
Last year in October when I registered I wrote “a university degree” as an answer to “what is your the highest education?” question. I thought that till the interview I would get my diploma and I would be a graduate. However I submitted my DS form on May 21. As I hadn’t got my diploma yet at that time I mentioned my education as a High School Diploma and I registered as a Student. **What worries me now is discrepancy between the levels of my education may create any problem or not?**
I want to unlock my DS form and to mention there the date of receipt of my diploma as June30 and University degree. Furthermore I want to mention there my postgraduate degree which I am currently doing.
**My case EU9.6k, Submission date is May21. I wonder If the scan requested submission date matches , whether the unlock may cause any delay in the process or not?**
**I kindly ask you to give me advice related to this process.**
Thanks beforehand
I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards
Vagif
October 19, 2021 at 02:05
You don’t need to worry about that, and don’t update the DS260 for it either.
October 18, 2021 at 09:11
when sending supporting documents i forgot to include marriage and termination certificates. so when sending this documents i used the reply button in the email of the already sent documents, so will that make a problem using the reply button instead of not using a new email.
October 19, 2021 at 02:08
Yes.
Resend the whole complete package.
October 18, 2021 at 09:32
Hi BritSimon
If I have green card already but stay outside US more than 1 year can I apply for dv lotto?
Regards,
October 19, 2021 at 02:07
No – but you can apply for an SB-1 visa to get back in to the USA as an LPR. Look it up.
October 18, 2021 at 12:42
Hi Simon,
I am noticing that almost every embassy on their website in Europe has stopped from giving non immigrant visas except from students visas and employment visas. Is this a good sign for DV2022 or it doesn’t affect at all.
October 19, 2021 at 02:09
No impact.
October 18, 2021 at 14:24
Hi Simon,
Will applying for DV lottery affect my future leisure travel to the USA?
Thanks,
Monica
October 19, 2021 at 02:09
Just entering the lottery – no.
October 18, 2021 at 15:10
Hello Brit! when someone is DQ:
1) he could ask for unlocking the DS-260?
2) the unlocking change of DQ status?
3) if, for instance, the CN will be current in January, unlocking now will delay the interview date.
4) If the changes do not impact the documents, Is it not necessary to send the docs again, after submitting the DS-260?
Thank you very much.
October 19, 2021 at 02:10
1. Yes
2. Sometimes, depending on what is changed.
3. That still might not cause delay.
4. No change to the documents means no need to resubmit documents.
October 18, 2021 at 16:22
Hi Simon,
Good day,
I went through FAQ and couldn’t find a similar question, so I decided to ask here.
My wife is a winner, but I am at an another country working. Can we interview from the different country? It’s difficult for me to go back because of COVID. Could you please advise?
Cheers
Min
October 19, 2021 at 02:11
You must interview with her.
October 18, 2021 at 16:28
Am dv22 selectee with case number AF 37xxx, are all dv winners to fill the I-134 forms??
October 19, 2021 at 02:12
Having an I-134 is a wise precaution. Some people will be asked to provide it, some won’t.
October 18, 2021 at 16:58
Hello Simon,
I have a U.S B2 visitor visa and I am currently out of the country but I’m planning to visit America again soon. If I now apply for the DV-2023, will it affect my entrance or bring any issues for me at the airport passport control?
October 19, 2021 at 02:13
No
October 18, 2021 at 21:58
Hi there again Simon,
Hoping you can advise me on something. We are a DV2022 winner, AF3k, already DQ’d. We have only recently (in the last week) moved home. Obviously, the address in our application is now an old address. I was just going to leave this as is and update it at the interview. But my sponsor is currently in the process of filling out the I-134 and I’m just wondering should she use the old address or the new one? Will using the new one cause any confusion do you think? Seeing as the form will be taken to the interview anyway where I will be updating the address? Or is it best to just have her put the old one on?
Thanks so much.
October 19, 2021 at 02:18
You won’t show the I-134 until the interview, which is where you will update any address, so no problem.
October 19, 2021 at 01:55
Yes, but I ask just to be sure. In photo examples in the adults pictures I almost see no shadow behind them, like those are really too perfect. But there are two photos of kids where it is shown a bit of not strong shadow in the backgorund such as mine. But yet I am not sute it will pass. Like imagine situation where I pass the dv lottery and pay for the interview and Visa and get rejected just because I had a bit of shadow behind my ears.
October 19, 2021 at 19:53
Hello Sir,
I am DQ for DV 2022 AF region, interview date not decided yet.
# Do I need to request my sponsor to provide I-134 now or once interview date is known?
Appreciate your help in advance,
October 22, 2021 at 02:43
Once you get the 2NL (interview date)
October 19, 2021 at 06:01
Hi Brit Simon. I am a DV 2020 winner and my status was ready for schedule and I am not in Plaintiff can I have a chance with the final order of Judge Mehta?
October 22, 2021 at 02:27
Maybe.
October 19, 2021 at 07:24
do i need to include both the new and the expired passport scan when sending the supporting documents through the email, or i just bring the expired one at interview?
October 22, 2021 at 02:27
Send both.
October 19, 2021 at 07:52
HI SIMON,
I sent my documents to the KCC on August 30, today they are asking me for a copy of the passports. I had sent it full page with the top page, maybe it’s not good, we had to send only the biographical page or maybe the problem comes from the full page? Where could I find an example of the passport copy to send hat they demand exactly. I’m so afraid it will disqualify me if i’m wrong again this time.
Thank you

They ask for the biographic page.

I was helped by my husband by my lottery entry, which also helped two other people, and due to the busy he swapped some information between me and another girl. One of the other two people he was helping had the following information:
1. Selected ” Married and my spouse is U.S citizen”
2. 0 children
3. Her level of education was middle school
He wrote these informations for me instead of the other girl.
1. that my spouse and I live together.
2. I have identified ds260 with 3 children, two of whom are stepchildren and they are not part of our journey but it is important to mention, the remaining child was born to me and she was born on 15.nov.2021 she is part of the journey.
3. My current level of education is a nursing bachelor degree.
i have any proof if embassy asks me, because that was not intentional but human mistake, but i dont know whether they will ask me or not.

Your question is very unclear, but if you listed yourself as single when you are actually married you are certain to be disqualified.
October 22, 2021 at 13:10
no listed as married, but instead of choosing that my spouse is not U.S. citizen, i chose my spouse is U.S. citizen, that is the entire mistake which was not intentional.
but in the ds260 i entered the correct information, that and my spouse live together same address.

So did you include your husband in the entry, yes or no?
October 23, 2021 at 06:58
yes included

So I’m not really clear on the problem then.

dear Simon,
I have one troubling question. i am the principal applicant. my wife have lived both in Kuwait and UAE long time ago. my question is concerning the police certificate. in Reciprocity page both countries seem to avail the certificates only to those residing there. what should we do?
thanks in advance.

If the police certificates are “not available” that means you are not expected to present them for that country.

hi Brit , how are you ?
by mistake i submit 2 times for dv 2023 , what will happen ? anything i can do like send email to cancel one of them ?
October 22, 2021 at 02:31
No – there is nothing you can do.

Hi Brits. I hope you are quite well. I’m dv 2022 winner with CN 2022AF 25***.
My questions;
1. I have filled the highest level of education in initial DV 2022 entry form with M.Sc. degree. Can I fill the the highest level of education in ds 260 form with B.Sc. degree. B/c I can’t bring the official certificate of M.Sc. degree for interview but I have the the official certificate of my B.Sc. degree?
2. Is filling the highest level of education in ds 260 application form with B.Sc. degree instead of M.Sc. damages the chance of getting green card?

1. You should complete the form with the truth.
2. No. Lying can affect your case though.

Good day mr Simson. I have 2 questions. I have a son 20 years of age and don’t want to be part of the process. From my understanding it is compulsory to add him under the application. However he does not have a passort and it will time to get it now. Will I still be able to be part of the lottery or disqualified because I can not upload a copy of my son’s passport?
My second question is I have another son but he is adopted by USA parents in 2017 and is living now in Utah . I am only the biological father but his new parents has full custody over him as it is their son now. Even his surname changed to their surname. Do I have to add him also on the loterry program or not? I don’t want to be disqualified for not uploading all the correct information. Kind regards David

1. You are not asked to upload passports of derivatives. But you MUST list your son.
2. No.

Hi Simon!
It’s me again,
My children’s passports have expired in the meantime and I have renewed them.
Do I also have to send the elders who were used for the registration of the lottery? I read that this only concerns the main applicator, is that correct?
Thank you for you help!

Only the person entering the lottery needs the passport.

Hello,
I have been selected for DV2022. Since I had eye surgery and some health problem, I couldn’t check my entry status any sooner so I JUST noticed I have been selected.
I am so nervous. I wanted to know if I can go ahead and submit my ds-260 form or is it late?
My case number 2022AS000016XX

It is not too late.

Hello Sir!
I have a question on marital status please. I am going to submit 2023 DV, but I am a single now. My wedding is going to be on Nov 14. So I will probably have my marriage cert. issued on the same date Nov. 14. However, the entry form for DV-2023 will only be available for submission till Nov. 9, 2021. In this case, can I complete the form saying “married” or still “single” ? Technically, the registration date to obtain a marriage cert. is October 14. Please advise! I’m afraid of being disqualified for not completing the form correct.
Thank you so much in advance!

You will be single on the day you enter, so you enter as single.
