Hi Mr Simon, I’m DV2022 winner from Ethiopia. I am current for January. The US embassy in Addis Ababa is currently provide emergency visa service only. i didn’t get 2NL until now. I need your advice sir. Thank you.
December 30, 2021 at 22:12
If you have a way to travel somewhere else and preferably an address you could “move” to – do that and ask KCC to change your embassy.
December 30, 2021 at 23:50
I transferred my interview from the Sudanese embassy to Bangladesh and I am still in Sudan, does the delay in opening the ds260 and amending my address to Bangladesh so that I can go there later greatly affect the time of my interview? My case number is : AF202200055×××
January 3, 2022 at 02:59
Your number won’t be current for MONTHS – so you will not cause any delay by unlocking.
December 31, 2021 at 13:18
Hey Simon, I already got DQ and My Interview Location is Kathmandu, Nepal. My case number is 2022AS000004**. I am currently at Sydney, Australia. I emailed KCC to change my interview location but they said that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview and KCC can no longer make the change. Please let me know whom to contact to change the interview and how to change it. Thank You and Happy New Year 2022.
January 3, 2022 at 03:03
You should have ask for the change earlier. You will now have to ask the embassies to transfer your case BUT you are in a mess because KDI will have to accept you first and then Sydney will need to agree to accept your case. This is now complex, whereas it could have been simple.
January 3, 2022 at 13:10
Simon, I know I made a mess, Australia’s border decision took me at this point!! Still I am trying to schedule my interview here in Sydney.. Can u please help me by providing email address for both KDU and Sydney and please let me know How to write them email, so that I can change my location. Thank You in Advance
January 3, 2022 at 15:07
I don’t have that – check their websites.
December 31, 2021 at 13:21
Hi Simon,
Happy NY to you!
As we head into 2022 with radio silence from the Sydney embassy I was hoping for a little more clarity on changing embassies.
While I am not a dual resident anywhere else, I can travel to the UK for up to 90 days as tourist.
1. Could I update my address with KCC to one in London (friends place), and then travel over once interview date given?
2. Do you need to prove that you are fully living there? Without any legal right to remain in UK it could be obvious it’s not a permanent address.
Thank you in advance for your help Simon, becoming very stressed by the lack of clarity from Sydney embassy.
December 31, 2021 at 19:47
Dear Mr simon
I added a DS260 form for my newborn child but by mistake I put my name instead of his so I left this one incomplete and added a new one with the right name and completed it , my question is if leaving a DS260 form incompleted would stop the processing of my case or not , and if so what should I do.
thanks so much
January 3, 2022 at 03:06
No, you can leave it unsubmitted, no problem.
January 3, 2022 at 03:04
1. Yes that is possible.
2. Not normally, no.
I suggest you wait a couple of weeks and see what happens in Sydney. Neither country is doing well with Covid, so there could be travel concerns anyway.
January 3, 2022 at 07:51
Appreciate your insight thank you Simon.
If Sydney doesn’t provide any updates on the embassy construction in the coming weeks I will look into this possibly with Fiji also, as a bit closer to home… while it is possible to do this, would you recommend it? I am concerned about this causing a reason for denial.
January 3, 2022 at 15:16
It doesn’t cause denial, but it may not be possible if travel restrictions are implemented.
January 3, 2022 at 13:42
I contacted sydney embassy about the interview things and they reply me this email.????
Thank you for contacting the U.S. Visa Service Desk.
We understand your concern about applying for the Diversity Visa. Please be informed that the U.S Consulate General Sydney has paused all routine and emergency visa services while we move to our new location.
This includes Immigrant visa applicants (including K fiancé(e) visa applicants), Diversity visa (DV) applications and services for Lawful Permanent Residents.
We will resume public services as soon as possible. Please refer to updates on the Embassy website https://au.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/
In the meanwhile, some applicants may be able to transfer their application to another U.S. consulate servicing immigrant visas https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/list-of-posts.html
We hope this information is helpful to you.
December 31, 2021 at 21:40

January 3, 2022 at 03:06
No predictions.
January 9, 2022 at 19:37
Hi ateca,
Are you ur fiji or the islands??
January 1, 2022 at 04:57
Hi BritSimon how are you.
1.Last week I got this massage,my case number 4k. Wht is it mean
(Congratulations! Our records indicate that your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview when your case number becomes current, and appointments are available. Interviews are scheduled numerically based on region and which case numbers have already been processed.)
2.My entry visa expired, at the day of interview is it must to have a visa, now adys kenya they stoped extension visa, the only option I have is to travel out and get entry visa bck.
3. Somali DV 2021 applicant interviewed US embassy nairobi and got refused because US embassy Kenya said they canot verify somali educational.
In kenya there KENYA NATIONAL QUALIFICATION ATHOURITY THAT verifies foreign qualifications, called equation, is it OK to have this as extra step to be safe and work with somali embassy to assist verify.
January 3, 2022 at 03:07
1. Exactly what is says.
2. I don’t know.
3. Your choice.
January 1, 2022 at 13:34
Dear Simon,
My case is currently ‘In Transit.’
My interview date will probably be announced when the next visa bulletin is released. (I expect it to be in March).
I have an upcoming marriage on 5th February, and I wish to include my soon-to-be wife as a beneficiary. Do you think it is still possible to add my future spose?
If yes, does including her jeopardize my case? Do I need to be ready to proof the genuine nature of the marriage to the CO? What documents do I need to provide for that?
January 3, 2022 at 03:07
In transit means they have already set the interview date. Check your ESC page.
January 3, 2022 at 14:07
They did not set my interview date. I checked multiple times… No 2NL!
Would you mind also answering my question regarding on how to add my fiancée?
January 3, 2022 at 15:07
Contact KCC and check about your 2NL and they will probably tell you to contact the embassy about adding your spouse,
January 3, 2022 at 15:18
Thanks Simon! I’ll contact the embassy.
Do you think marrying and adding the spouse will jeopardize the case? Isn’t it better to postpone the wedding and bring my future spouse with a family reunification-based visa?
January 1, 2022 at 13:40
Hello mr simon. I am a dv 2022 winner, case number 24keurope. Do you think i have the chance to get interviewed ?
January 3, 2022 at 03:08
I don’t know.
January 1, 2022 at 14:39
Happy new year Simon!
We recently received our 2NL! Thank you for the help we received from you so far, we really appreciate it 🙂
We’re trying to acquire an I-134 from a friend who has won a green card previously. He only started working in the US during the spring of 2021, so a full year haven’t passed yet. So far he made 29,000$, which is enough to sponsor us according to the federal poverty guidelines, but because he didn’t work for a full year yet he can’t acquire a the 1040 and W2 forms. Is a I-134 only with attached Recent Payslips and a Photo ID also acceptable in this case or do we need another sponsor?
January 3, 2022 at 03:08
Better find someone who has been there longer.
January 2, 2022 at 06:40
Dear Simon,
Happy New Year,
I’m AS9k from Iran. How do I know how many cases or people from my own country (not Asia) are before me in the line? Is there a formula?
January 3, 2022 at 03:13
You can work it out, approximately. But really – it won’t help you be certain about anything, so I suggest you just use some patience.
January 2, 2022 at 12:50
Hi Simon,
2 questions please.
1. Why is Europe moving quicker than Asia given that Asia has a higher highest case number?
2. Given that Asia density drops of to like 20%-25% after 14000, can we expect them to move a lot quicker through the rest of numbers after that on the visa bulletin?
Thanks,
Ibrahim
January 3, 2022 at 03:15
1. Because EU has a higher quota.
2. Maybe, yes – but there are many factors that will affect that.
January 2, 2022 at 12:59
Hi Simon. I sent you a Facebook message so apologies for the double up. I’m hoping you can put my fears to rest. I have a moderately low case number in Oceania (12**) but the New Zealand embassy and consulate have been closed since our lockdown started in August. They plan to restart interviews this month but they will inevitably be approximately 5 months behind. Is there any recourse if I can be scheduled for an interview but there are no interviews left before the end of the fiscal year? Based on current numbers and previous years, I am expecting my case number to become current in April but add 5 months to that and it’s September so it’s cutting it close! Thanks, I’m getting very nervous!!
January 3, 2022 at 03:16
NZ has very few DV cases. They could do a complete years worth of cases in a week or two – so relax and be patient.
January 2, 2022 at 16:29
Hi BritSimon! DV2021 winner here. I have until mid-March to enter the US on the printed visa in order to present my sealed immigrant packet and be admitted in – I have booked a holiday trip to NYC for mid-Feb to do this, however it looks like I have a job offer also which means I’d stay permanently once I’ve entered the country.
From my understanding, provided I’m admitted into the country on that day without issue (don’t see a reason why I wouldn’t be), I should then be able to start working the week after? I read that they will give me a stamp with a resident (?) number and I can provide this to my employer while I wait for the physical green card. Can I confirm if I am understanding this correctly?
In terms of SSN, I’ve read online that ‘’an employer can use a letter from us stating you applied for a number, and your immigration documents can prove your authorization to work in the United States.” I applied for a SSN card on the same application as my green card. What paperwork would I need to present to my employer?
Apologies if this has been covered in your FAQ, the page doesn’t seem to work at the moment.
Thank you so much for your help!
January 3, 2022 at 03:17
1. Yes you understand correctly.
2. The SSN usually takes about 3 weeks to arrive. You will need to warn the employer, and you might be better to delay the start a week or two.
January 2, 2022 at 16:48
Hello Mr Simon and HAPPY NEW YEAR! I wish you all the best!
Please could you tell me what is the difference between КCC and NVC.
My case is in NVC EU 8 ****
Thank You!
January 3, 2022 at 03:18
Ignore NVC – they have nothing to do with your case. KCC all the way.
January 2, 2022 at 20:06
Hi Mr Simon,
Happy New Year
I am a green card applicant from Fiji .Currently in Pennsylvania .Just a question. For how long should I stay in USA in order to qualify for citizenship?
Thank you and blessings.
Ana Bataba
January 3, 2022 at 03:18
5 years.
January 2, 2022 at 20:59
Hi Sir,
I hope you’re great!
There are 941 cases before and 11562 after you in the AS region. That yields approximately 1806 people before and 22193 after you.
This belongs to me.
Is it good?
January 3, 2022 at 03:19
Bloody silly question. Use your common sense.
January 2, 2022 at 21:14
Hi Simon. What do you think about Ethiopian dv 2022 winners? No one interviewed or ready for interview until now. We should transfer our cases to another embassy or not.
January 3, 2022 at 03:19
Yes.
January 3, 2022 at 11:19
dear simon,
thanks for all the effort to inform us.
my question is a bit complicated: i read your blog post saying that KCC not requiring documents anymore can harm higher numbers’ chances, which makes sense. my number is pretty high (eu26xxx). that being said, i am living in the US now, so I can do AOS. i know that demand/capacity dynamics drive cutoff points, but i am not sure what these correspond to exactly. do they look at region quotas? do number of people interviewed (which is abysmal at this point) affect it? for example, technically, consulates can issue a lot of visa, but they don’t at the moment. when the US determines the cutoff, they can think that not a lot of visas are issued, or they can think theoretically. i hope my question is clear.
January 3, 2022 at 15:14
Yes they consider the quotas, so it would be possible that they believe they can fill the quota before numbers reach your case and then you cannot do anything with your win (because you have to be current to file the I-485).
January 3, 2022 at 12:17
Hey Simon, happy new year! Happy, but a bit of a grim outlook for high EU cases considering the low percentage of holes. EU19xxx here, at Madrid embassy, was DQed in early september. 3 questions:
1. does DQ date still have any influence on scheduling cases nowadays even though the process has changed?
2. does the Visa Bulletin have to increase every month or can it stand still? (I imagine since they scheduled so few cases for Europe so far, and they have around 6-7000 cases more that haven’t been scheduled – taking in account a 35% rate of no-show)
3. When do you see 19-20k cases becoming current? Before seeing the holes I was expecting somewhere around march-april.
Thank you!
January 3, 2022 at 15:10
1. Yes. Once you are current, the date is used to prioritize your case with OTHER current cases at that embassy.
2. It can stand still and even go backwards.
3. I don’t have any predictions. As you mention, they have catchup work to do with the existing current cases.
January 3, 2022 at 17:42
Hi Brits, happy new year to you, please help, I am a DV 2022 winner by the time filled in the DS260 I was unemployed, but I got a job for about 4 months now… do I have to ask KCC to unlock for me to update my Job information. Please note that I have 2 years job experience which is on the DS 260 form and also honours degree. Kindly assist.
Awaiting for your answer!
January 3, 2022 at 18:02
No
January 3, 2022 at 17:47
Hello Mr. Simon. My file number is up to date since January, AF10xxx, I sent my ds on June 06. my wife just gave birth to a daughter i asked to unlock my ds260 and so done. I ask you for advice how to do it knowing that the baby does not have a passport. will the passport be available only after one month?
January 3, 2022 at 18:02
Submit the DS260 for the child using the passport of one of the parents. You will later be able to update that at the interview.
January 3, 2022 at 18:27
Hello Brit Simon happy new year Sir. I am dv 2022 winner i lost my old passport and i have received a new passport that i applied in my DS260 form and i got a approvel letter for my immigration that indicates i lost my old passport.
Kindly asking you Sir is that immigration approvel letter enough just to have at the time of interview.
Thank you.
January 4, 2022 at 06:31
It should be, yes.
January 4, 2022 at 17:05
Dear Brit Simon
Kindly asking you Sir same question the date i got the approval immigration letter for lost old passport was 04/17/2021 and I received the new passport at 05/17/2021
The approvel immigration letter is one month before recieving the new passport
Is it ok for that date Sir
Thank you.
January 4, 2022 at 19:04
Doesn’t matter.
January 3, 2022 at 19:02
hi simon, my number is 7k, I filled in ds260 in September. I want to ask you about it. I mentioned in the ds260 that I will be interviewed in Djibouti and my current residence is in Sudan. Will I be asked for an entry visa or will a very normal interview be set for me?
January 4, 2022 at 06:32
I don’t know for certain.
January 3, 2022 at 19:42
Hello Brit,
I have a question concerning the DS260.
I work in the US as a seconded employee of a foreign company, under a NIV E1.
In February, I will switch from seconded to localized employee, for the same company, same role, same project, same US facility (albeit with the loss of some monetary seconded perks).
My CN number is EU15xxx, which might be current in March.
I am torn if it is advisable to update the DS260 (the new position, salary update aside, is exactly the same as the current one).
Thank you
Guma77
January 4, 2022 at 06:32
No need.
January 3, 2022 at 20:33
Hello Mr. Simon, I am primary applicant, my wife’s and son’s passport is different that the initial entry. My wife’s passport was printed with wrong place of birth and son’s was expired so i replace both with new while complaining DS260. Does it cause delay processing my case? Is there anything i can do further to clarify? Thank you so much for your unconditional and valuable support for DV winners.
January 4, 2022 at 06:32
No problem.
January 3, 2022 at 22:50
Hello simon,
I’m from Uganda with case number 2022AF10K, right now I am in Dhaka Bangladesh for almost 4 years, first time i was university student for about one and half year (BSc in computer science) than i drop out because lack of tuition fees than that time i was study some online skills than I realized i won dv22, so my question is: is there any problem about drop out my university to disqualify my visa?
and also i know lowest qualification is high school and i have my high school certificate and also i got results about my all semesters that i attended.
January 4, 2022 at 06:33
No problem.
January 4, 2022 at 02:14
Happy new year Brit.
My BF has just finished the interview. He told me that the interviewer said, “It seems all fine, you may receive your visa in a few days”.
However, after the call to tell me above, my BF called me back and said “I’m not sure whether they mentioned something they’re going to give me after the interview or not, but I already got out of the embassy. I don’t have my passport anymore so I can’t get into there again.”
I’m wondering if there is anything the embassy give to the interviewee right after the interview…?
Thank you for reading and all of your help.
January 4, 2022 at 06:34
Sometimes they give the interviewee a sheet of paper, but there is no problem if they did not do that.
January 5, 2022 at 05:37
I see…! I’m so relieved to get your answer. thank you very much!
January 4, 2022 at 04:46
Hello Brit
My CN EU11XX my case at NVC
However i checked xarthisius data table it shows there CN between 4001 -8000 got interview and visa issued.embassy both us is same.Tbilisi Georgia
Is it normal?
January 4, 2022 at 06:34
Yes. The whole world does not wait for your case…
January 4, 2022 at 14:52
Hi Brits, now that there is no need to send Documents to KCC, what about the police clearance from different countries where a person lived before for about 5 years, how long does it has to be valid to take to the interview.
January 4, 2022 at 19:03
It must be less than 2 years old at interview.
January 4, 2022 at 20:20
I was born in the greater city of Wad Madani. in My passport is written “greater” for short only, and in the rest of my documents it is written entirely ” greater Wad Madani “. I want to make a ds26 file. Write as in passport or as in all documents
January 4, 2022 at 20:29
Doesn’t matter.
January 4, 2022 at 20:30
Hi Simon,
How accurate is the Visa Bulletin for DV2022?
It is understandable that Covid is affecting the process globally, however, for instance, if my case (EU17K) becomes current, should I assume that I will invited for the interview the following month?
According to your knowledge, does London usually process many DVs?
As always, Thank you very much.
Thank you.
January 6, 2022 at 18:58
The numbers published don’t (at the moment) mean that everyone under than number will be scheduled immediately. Yes London is normally quite active.
January 4, 2022 at 20:44
Hi Sir,
I hope you are great!
My question is that now that the removed documents procedure based on what they send 2NL?
I am current and a couple days before I emailed KCC about my case, they said that the are processing it and it is still at NVC
Thank you in advance!
January 6, 2022 at 18:59
A case must be current and DS260 must be processed, and also the embassy must have capacity to take the case.
January 5, 2022 at 00:15

Congratulations. I landed in Boston last week now back to Europe. The officer was really nice he said awesome that I am immigrating, took the envelope and congratulated. That was it. I am planning to move permanently around May. Such a great feeling. Congrats again and all the best.
November 26, 2022 at 15:47
Hi! The stamp is given in the airport upon arrival?
Thanks!
January 5, 2022 at 08:40
Hello simon
I am currently at France.
My interview and current location is in Nepal.
However, I requested KCC to change my interview location from Nepal to france. And they did.
Now, Should I need to unlock DS260 to change current location.
Or I can change it during interview?
Thank you
January 6, 2022 at 19:03
I have not seen any case not scheduled because they did not update the address, BUT it is safest to do so.
January 5, 2022 at 10:01
Hi Simon!
Just saw your Q&A in which you mentioned Nepali embassy is shut. It doesn’t affect Asia directly with the VB and current cases, but it does with higher (Non-Nepali & Non-Irani) cases getting a chance before higher Nepali cases. I know it isn’t ideal but it is what it is, isn’t it.
So in Asia currently we’ve got-
Afghanistan – 3410 (Some might move to Pakistan)
Iran – 5739 (As you mentioned, longer process)
Iraq – 1512 (Except Curtis’s 25 others might be in trouble, as of now)
Nepal – 3802 (Currently closed embassy)
Yemen – 1561 (Not sure about the embassy)
So this brings the total to about 16,024 Visas in kind of a state of limbo. In a dark perspective, it bodes well for the Asian countries other than the ones mentioned above. (with covid you can never say, but still)
Your thoughts?
January 5, 2022 at 22:03
Ouch!
Ok… Seriously!!
Either the DoS is following you and your blog
Or
It’s “again” a coincidence
That they announced about the Afghanistan and Iraq Embassy. That’s around 4922 Visas from the above post impacted.
There’s still another 11k Visas in limbo
January 6, 2022 at 19:10
Well I think its coincidence, but it’s good to see they are trying to fix the “big issues”.
January 6, 2022 at 19:04
These are the factors that make me NOT do mathematical predictions.
January 5, 2022 at 10:08
Dear Simon,
Thank you so much for being here for our DV questions.
2022AF20K
Last time (before a month or two) I asked you if KCC change interview location for Ethiopian winners as they did for countries like Russia, Iraq, Eritrea… and you told me to wait for a couple of months since my CN will not become current soon. But the Embassy is still closed and most likely my CN will be current on March VB.
Please forward me your best advice sir.
Thank you in advance for all your cooperation.
January 6, 2022 at 19:05
You should decide for yourself. If you have the ability to travel to another country, you can ask KCC to move you there.
January 5, 2022 at 12:55
hello mr simon
how to understand that my ds submitted in july, cn 5xxx is not yet processed and that cn 56xxx in the same region receives 2nl, the processing of ds has been stopped?
January 6, 2022 at 19:06
No
January 5, 2022 at 14:15
dear simon,
i have a high CN, and can do both CP and AOS. although CPs are super slow now, due to my CN being high, getting AOS might not be possible since it is a longish process even if my CN goes current. for that reason, I want to keep my both options open, and am planning to submit my DS260 nowadays. However, in your last video, you said that sending DS earlier than i485 is a mistake. can I ask why, and what would you advise me?
January 6, 2022 at 19:08
Sending the DS is a declaration of immigrant intent. That can affect future NIV applications if you need to do that.
January 7, 2022 at 08:26
oh I see, since I already have F visa and live in the US, it should not be a problem for me to send ds260 then.
January 5, 2022 at 19:34
Hello Simon, Happy new year to you!
I hope you are good!
I would like to ask you when I write to KCC which family I have to write down – the one that I had when I was chosen for the lottery or the new one with which i filled in the DS form?
Thank you a lot!
January 6, 2022 at 19:09
How many families do you have???
January 6, 2022 at 09:03
Hello Simon and Happy New Year!
i already have the I-551 stamp on passport and i’m planning first entry to U.S. to get passport endorsed etc but i’m not fully covid-19 vaccinated; in my case vaccination is mandatory or since i already have stamp on passport i only need to show result of negative covid-19 test?
Best Regards
January 7, 2022 at 16:34
Get the vaccine. Problem solved.
January 7, 2022 at 16:45
Get vaccinated asap. They won’t let you in otherwise. I got vaccinated a bit later in the process and I am glad I did. I was concerned and had to get other vaccines too so it was hectic and stressful. You can get jabbed in one month. You will also need a negative test. It’s crazy there as the testing capacity is not as advanced as here in Europe. You will be glad you did believe me. I just got back from my activation trip.
January 7, 2022 at 16:46
Also 9 out of 10 jobs are asking to be fully vaccinated. There is no way around it. Protect yourself and others.
January 7, 2022 at 17:07
Agreed Blanka. The other thing is, what happens if you catch COVID while in the USA. That is significantly more likely if you are unvaccinated and the sickness can be significantly worse for unvaccinated people. Healthcare and Hospital treatment in the USA is hugely expensive, I have seen bills that exceed $100,000 and some that exceed $1,000,000. So – unless you have excellent insurance from the moment you land you are taking a stupid risk with your own health, your finances and the health of others.

Hello dear Simon
Do you think the US Senate will vote and pass the BBB reform bill which includes some DV 2017 to DV 2020 regarding visas that were denied due to a presidential decision imposed by President Trump.

I don’t know.

Hi Simon!
I’m activating my visa this week.
Background to questions:
– Several year ago when I was a student in the US, I had a previous SSN issued but have since then misplaced it. On the DS-260 I marked that I needed a new one issued.
– I later found a scanned copy of the SSN I had back then, so I now know the number.
Questions:
1. Do you know if the new SSN card have the same number as I had before?
2. If so, should I be able to open up a US bank account before I receive it the new card as I have a scanned copy of it and now know the number?
Thanks you 🙂

Hello Brit,
Am 2022 lottery selected with case number AF37XXX, after submitting my DS-260 form and receiving 2nl, what next should be done??
January 7, 2022 at 16:36
You didn’t receive the 2NL. The 2NL is the interview appointment.
Now, you just wait to be current.

Hi Simon Cn2022 AF55K just want to ask you couple questions
I am a refugee claimant in Canada and I never got approved for my refugee status. I applied for DV lottery 2022 and won it. When I was applying for the lottery, I did not had any passport with me and the reciprocal page of Somalia shows that the passport can be waived because of lack of stable governance in the country. Long short story I got a Somali passport from Somalia by help of family members in Mogadishu.
1 Can I use that passport on my ds 260
2 Will it disqualify me if I use it
3 I got my old high school documents from Somalia can I use it. I also have a Canadian high school certification because they told me to re do high school when I came to Canada 2015
Lastly can I request kcc to expedite my case because I have a deportation order back to Somalia and you know Somalia is not peaceful country at the moment
Please just need your advice here

1. Yes, you must.
2. I don’t know, but you cannot lie in this process.
3. No you cannot be expedited.

Hi Brit, my case is current in February, I am DQ-ed in November, EU10xxx. My case is trasnfered from KCC to embassy. Yesterday Frank published my number among those that received 2NL.
How long doest it take to get 2NL through dvprogram.state.gov? I guess that Frank has access to real data and that it isnt an error but just takes sme time to get updated.
January 7, 2022 at 16:45
It usually takes a few hours at most (although we have seen some screwups by KCC on that recently). Did you get it yet?
January 12, 2022 at 12:25
I did received email to register myself at usvisa site and to schedulle appointment, that I did. But still no 2NL at CEAC and my status at dvprogram.state.gov is still In transit. Kind of odd situation?!?!

Others are experiencing the same.

Brit, hello
Could you tell me please, now I can some where look how moved the line and start yet or not interview in embassy for that people who win in 2021 ?
Thank you so much for your help !!!

DV2020 and DV2021 cases are not being processed yet. The government made clear they need until about April to make some system changes. The appeals are also continuing for the time being.
January 6, 2022 at 22:19
Hi Simon,
I submitted my DS-260 on June 3rd.
My case number is 2022EU1700. It’s a pretty basic case (single, educated, no weird travels)
I haven’t received any word from KCC yet (no mail at all). When I ask about the status, they just say it’s “currently processing”.
1. Should I be worried ?
I’m afraid they take too long to process it, and then I won’t have enough time left to be scheduled for interview even though I’m current
2. Is there anything I can do to know more ? Or should I just be patient and stop panicking ?
Thanks for the help
Alex

Ask them again in a couple of weeks. Did you use the same passport in the entry and the DS260?
January 7, 2022 at 18:50
Yes, I used the same passport, it’s valid till 2026
Thanks for the answer! I’ll ask again in February if I don’t hear anything since then
