Hi ,Simon! I appreciate very much, all of you and below about the DV, it’s magnificent, but sometimes something like mimic gives to understand! but thanks for all the info! I have seen your most recent videos about DV 2023 and the case numbers….but I have to confess that I am still scared!!! I have a case number 2023SA3042… is this a bad number? Is it possible that when the region goes current , I can be called for an interview? I am Cuban, and it is known that this year there has been a lot of exodus to the USA, it is possible that many of the winners have already arrived. Use it in other ways, people who may not be interested in following the process or perhaps people who have not found out that they are a winner or that they do not have the requirements! How would this affect my case number? I have a case number 2023SA3042

Hello Britsimon,
Thanks once again for your good services to us. Please can my brother who’s a Veteran, be a sponsor, if his annual income is above the poverty guidelines?
July 15, 2022 at 11:10
Hello Sir,
My sponsor cannot give me tax report.
1) Is it okay to take the i-134 to the interview without it?
2) Is better in this case to go without the form?
Thanks in advance for your reply. Most appreciated.
July 15, 2022 at 16:00
You can try – I don’t know if the CO will accept it.

Good day Brit Simons
I’m currently in Abidjan but my case is being held in a queue in Accra and I haven’t received an interview date yet can i move my case to Abidjan.
July 15, 2022 at 16:01
There is very little time left, and KCC have been reluctant to move any cases once they are in the AV status (when they send emails that say “current for interview processing”). So the reality is you are probably stuck at Accra.

Thank you Brits for good service and support my question is Visa Bulletin which category between F1 and F4
July 15, 2022 at 15:25
Hello Sir,
I have submitted my Ds260 form a month ago my case number is AS17xxxx. My passport is valid for a year more there’s an issue with my passport in my passport my given name field is blank(empty) and my surname field they have written my first name in it. I have applied for new passport I’ll get by August end so should i then ask to re open my ds260 or not? Cuz if they email me and ask me for my documents i might get into trouble but if they dont then i can just show them both my passports during interview and explain the case. What do you suggest i do sir?
July 15, 2022 at 16:02
Correct the passport.
July 15, 2022 at 16:17
Sorry sir, asking again sir. Are you suggesting i request kcc to open my ds260 form and then add the new passport details in it which i will receive in August?
Thank you so much for all the help kind sir

Hi Simon
My wife is a 2023 winner of with a CN EU1XXXX. She has BS degree from University, I have BS degree and 10 years of working experience in American company. However, since 2020 we are both desided to leave job (it was our decision). She is taking care of kids, I make money from investments in various projects and also financial markets. Just to check with you, we have selected in Ocupation questions: Homemaker (for wife) and I selected “Other” for myself (and listed in details my sources of income). 1) Is it fight choice? 2) Since we are both technicaly speaking “unemployed” is that fact has a bad impact on decision?
July 25, 2022 at 10:07
1. It’s fine.
2. No problem.

Hi Brit, I am a winner of DV 2023 and am working on filling out my DS-260. In 2009, I entered USA on B2 (tourist) visa and stayed for 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, I do not remember and do not have a saved record of my visa number, date it was issued, date I entered the United States and the exact duration of my stay. Is it OK if I provide approximate dates on the application (I remember month/year), but not the exact day? Will it be considered an error/fraud and can negatively impact my case? Is there a place in DS-260 to provide notes/comments or should I send a separate email to KCC explaining the situation? Thank you for your insight!
July 25, 2022 at 10:10
Approximate dates are fine. You can also check your entry history – https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/history-search
July 15, 2022 at 20:18
Hello Brit,
My wife worked in Germany for 4 years, but only for 3 months each year, student seasonal work in Germany. She did not have a work visa because when it comes to a 3-month stay, ie 90 days in a year, a visa is not required, only a Work Permit. She worked at McDonald’s all 4 times.
In those 4 years, only for 3 months each year, she was in Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich. She was registered at 4 different addresses, but she does not have all the documents from the registration in the municipalities where she lived.
1: In the DS 260 form, in the previous addresses section, do you also enter the addresses where you lived for only 3 months?
2: Are student works (without visa, just with Work Permit) that were outside our home country, in this case Germany, and lasted for 3 months, included in previous works?
3: Is it necessary to bring confirmations from registered addresses from all three cities and work permits for all jobs in Germany to the interview?
We know that previous work places and previous address should match, so we don’t know should we fill out in DS 260 these past seasonal students work with past addresses in another country that are only for 3 months max.
Thank you in advance!!!

1. No
2. Yes
3. No

Hello Brit
I had some questions regarding the embassies and their numbers for the 2023 DV. I am 2023EU22xxx case number.
1.I am from Albania, and saw that Tirana had 2001 winners including derivatives, do you think that is a relatively low number that can issue a date for me being a high number?
2. Based on your previous experience and knowledge, is Tirana a “fast” embassy that has high chances of processing all of these cases and winners?
July 25, 2022 at 10:13
1. We don’t know the maximum numbers yet so it is too soon to make assumptions about numbers but yours is probably ok. t ha nothing to do with your country.
2. Again – too soon to see the future.
July 15, 2022 at 21:58
Hi Brit, thanks for all the great work you are doing.
My question relates to documents:
OTHER DOCUMENTS REFLECTING NAME CHANGE
My wife has previously been married (changed her surname) and got divorced (changed her surname back). When we got married she kept her surname due to us winning DV23 so we don’t have to redo passports and all those documents.
My question is – what document would you require to present that reflects name change? We went to our local government affairs and asked proof of name change as they did the name change but we got told they don’t provide such documents. What would you recommend we do? What documentation would be good enough for when we have our interview and this comes up?
South Africa
Johannesburg
Many thanks
DV23AF9xxx
July 25, 2022 at 11:19
Name changes through marriage are documented through the marriage certificate, and divorce documents achieve the same thing.
July 15, 2022 at 23:45
hello brit
i am a winner of the dv 2022 and i have my interview for august in benin but i lived in algeria for a few years and i won there
1 – I got my criminal record around two months before leaving for Algeria and the validity of the criminal record is three months should I do another criminal record or can I still use the same knowing that I am not an Algerian?
2- can they ask me on the days of the interview what work my host is doing?? and if I don’t know it can harm me?
July 25, 2022 at 11:20
1. The police cert is accepted up to 2 years old.
2. You should have some knowledge of a friend/host.
July 16, 2022 at 06:22
Hey Brit
I am from Nepal and my case number is 2023AS3153. Can you tell me how many case number do KCC process in a lot?
July 25, 2022 at 11:36
I don’t understand your question.
July 16, 2022 at 14:03
hey Mr Simon in the video (DV2022 embassy queue data published) on your youtube channel, you explained that in PDF documents about the cases status in embassies there are columns showing AV and FP, what does mean?
July 25, 2022 at 11:38
AV is a queue of cases allocated to an embassy, but not scheduled. FP is scheduled.
July 16, 2022 at 16:07
Hello Mr Simon,
Thank you so much for all your precious help and the dedication you put for DV winners.
I am a DV winner of 2023 CN 2023EU5XXX, and sent my DS-260 form May 17th. I have watched almost every videos you did, and couldn’t find answers to the questions I had. They are probably stupid, but I would be highly grateful if you could enlighten me:
1- My visa photo for my entry was a picture modified by the visafoto website, as I couldn’t use the services of a professionnal photographer at the time. I was wondering if that could get me disqualified from the get go, or, if entries beiing disqualified because of a photo problems couldn’t even win? I have US Visa photos made by a photographer for my required documents.
2- The address written on my Entrants status check, which is the one where I currently live, was written differently than on my DS-260 current address, because I live in a brand new residence, and the address can be written in different ways. Shall I unlock the DS-260 form and write it the same way it was on my entry?
3- In the Travel section within the last 5 years of the DS-260, I have entered INDONESIA, but I remembered after that it has been 5 years and 2-3 months at the submission of my DS-260, shall I modify that?
4- Do you know when approximately we should have updates from KCC to know wether or not we are documentary qualified?
Thank you so much in advance, I hope you’ll enjoy your holidays in Europe.
July 23, 2022 at 18:16
Last question, and I’m sorry to ask this, but I cannot seem to find an answer anywhere: is it possible that even if you submitted your DS-260 super early and have a super low CN, your case never gets processed by KCC, or you never get an interview? Is it possible that you don’t get an interview the month your CN becomes current although you submitted DS-260 super early?
Thanks in advance.
July 25, 2022 at 14:34
Sort of possible – but normally the fault of the applicant.
July 25, 2022 at 11:40
1. No problem.
2. No
3. No
4. Probably in the next couple of months.
July 25, 2022 at 16:41
Hello Brit, thank you so much for your answers.
I have an immigration lawyer because I was supposed to do an interview for an F1 visa, I dont know if you remember me. That was prior to find you and your precious informations. Since then, my lawyer submitted DS-260 AND documents on May 17th. I wanted to know if you would be able to tell me, since my case is 2023EU5XXX, when I should approximately hear from KCC to see when my DS-260 has been processed and to send documents (hypothetically since we don’t know yet for this year). I am single no kids always lived and worked in my country, so no complication, and I have nothing that would disqualify me. I believe like you told me, that my case would become current somewhere around December. If the visa bulletin of November (published in October) says that my case is current in December for example, is the interview supposed to be given that month?
Thank you so so much for everything, I hope you are enjoying Europe.
Looking forward to hearing form you.
Best,
Thomas
July 25, 2022 at 22:23
And last question, when given the fact that I already submitted my documents, will I receive an e-mail asking to submit them, and if so, should I send them again?
Thank you so much, I am so sorry to bother you so much, I am struggling to keep my patience in such a stressfull process.
Thanks for everything.
July 28, 2022 at 08:43
If asked, send them again.
July 26, 2022 at 12:52
You will probably hear about your DS260 pretty soon. You can email KCC and ask your status. The documents most likely won’t be needed. I’ll avoid predictions, so maybe November/December – but in time you will see. Sometimes cases are interviewed in later months after they were originally current – but that doesn’t matter. No need to worry – just relax and wait.
July 27, 2022 at 05:29
Thank you so much Brit for everything, I appreciate it deeply. Enjoy the rest of your holidays.
July 16, 2022 at 18:05
Hello Mr Simon,
I couldn’t find an answer through the FAQ so I have to ask here. Can you explain to me the country of chargeability? What that means? I’m from Greece so I have Greek nationality and I work and live in London for the last 2 and half years. I will enrolled at the DV programm and the only thing I don’t understand is that country of chargeability. WHat is that, where I have to put what and how it works?
Thank you for your work
July 25, 2022 at 11:41
You choose the country of birth, and normally don’t touch the country of chargeability.
July 16, 2022 at 18:41
Hey Brit, hope u are enjoying your vacation. Cheers!
DV selectee AS2023176xx here from Sri Lanka. I have seen cases lot behind my case number from AS reporting here mentioning that they have received emails from KCC that their DS260 got processed. I have submitted on 15th May and resubmitted on 2nd June but nothing from KCC so far. Should I be worried here? Do I need to e-mail KCC?
July 17, 2022 at 04:31
Hey im also sri lankan. My case no AS202311XXX. Im aslo did not get any mail from kcc yet.
July 21, 2022 at 05:59
helo there,
mine is 2023AS15K and submitted DS-260 ON May 17th 2022 but still nothing.
July 25, 2022 at 14:25
Yep – you have to be patient.
July 25, 2022 at 15:32
Hi Simon,
Thank you for all the help you provide by answering our questions.
I have been selected for DV with Case Number 2023AS6###.
Me and my husband are currently living in UAE for 7 years and we do not have a home postal system in UAE unless we own a PO box which we have to pay for. We never got one because we never use paper mail here. Even if we get something we always get it through a courier service.
1. In our DS-260s under our mailing addresses, I put my parents’ home mailing address in Sri Lanka and for my husband he put his parents’ mailing address in Sri Lanka, because we live really closeby and it didn’t matter to us where the mail goes because we get mail anyway from our parents houses. Will this be an issue for us having two different mailing addresses?
July 26, 2022 at 12:44
No
July 25, 2022 at 12:21
No – just be patient. Your number won’t be current for almost a year – so why would you worry about the processing?
July 16, 2022 at 22:11
Greetings Simon!
Country SCAC code is “THT” (Tashkent, Uzbekistan)
So my question is we are waiting for appt for September when is approximately going to be made? and CN stopped at 11203 but my case is 119** would I be selected for September’s appt according to selection by CN? Thank you in advance.
July 25, 2022 at 12:20
I don’t know what will happen in your case.
July 16, 2022 at 23:10
Hello, Mr. Simon. I hope you are well.
My question is, a student who has with legal residency in Canada, Can he travel to the US and work legally (does he need visa for this?)?
If possible, how many months can he live and work in the US?
July 25, 2022 at 12:22
I only answer DV lottery questions.
July 16, 2022 at 23:44
Hi Brit, hope you’re enjoying your Vacation. I submitted my supporting documents for me and my derivatives and also emailed KCC to confirm if they received them or not. But until now i didn’t get any feedback and it’s been above a week since I emailed them. Is there something to worry about,DV 2023AF2***
July 25, 2022 at 12:22
They probably won’t answer because they are not asking for documents at this time for DV2023.
July 17, 2022 at 05:22

Hello Britsimon,
With all due respect,
I am a citizen of Afghanistan, the winner of the DV Lottery 2020. If the distribution of 9095 reserved visas starts, and I am also in the Gomez member class, I am an Afghan citizen, which consulate should I go to, so that my document can be prepared for the interview. Because the American embassy is closed in Afghanistan.
Please provide information, thank you in advance for your cooperation
July 25, 2022 at 12:24
We have to wait for the outcome of the appeals and then see whether you have a chance.
July 17, 2022 at 08:44
Hello Sir,thanks so much for enormous services you are rendering.I have these worries about numbers on the queue.(1)The 296 cases on the queue in Cameroon, are they the total number of remaining cases waiting to be interviewed in that embassy?(2)How can one check if he/her number is on the queue? Thanks alot Sir Britsimon

DS-260 ISSUE HELP!
Hi there! I’m wondering if you’ve ever heard of/had this issue and know how to overcome this?
I’ve won the DV lottery for the year 2022. A month ago I got an email stating that both my husband and I have an interview date in August. The interview date story is a bit of a mess. Our original date for the interview was the 31st of august. The consulate contacted me 2 days after receiving our letter stating that they have changed our interview date to the 6th of July because of unforeseen circumstances.
After changing the date the consulate is requested my husband to fill in a DS-260. Upon logging in to the ceac home page – it only displays my name and my completed ds-260 (my husband is listed in mine), his name doesn’t appear below mine as it states it should. It says on the home page if this is the case we’re to contact the Embassy where our interview is scheduled so we did. We’ve gone back and forth with them and long story short we still can’t find a solution to it and have confirmed they can’t fix it and “it’s up to you to fix it now”.
So medicals are done and I’ve been for my interview, and my husband was supposed to be interviewed on the same day but without the DS-260 they couldn’t interview him. They said since we’re having a technical issue my husband can contact them anytime for an interview once he’s sorted out his DS-260 as long as it’s before September 31st. Obviously the sooner the better. I got a walkaway letter to say everything is on hold from the interviewer. The interviewer also confirmed that on their side they can see that my husband is definitely linked to my case. When checking my case status it lists the both of us too.
I’m not sure if I’m contacting the right people as I can’t seem to find much information about this issue online. I’ve contacted the KCC as the consulate requested, but they can’t help since the interview has been scheduled already. I have contacted US visa support and they haven’t confirmed they too can’t fix it.
Any tips/suggestions, please?
July 25, 2022 at 12:28
Only the embassy can fix it. You have to push them.
July 25, 2022 at 12:25
1. That is cases – each case being around 2 people.
2. Only via a lawsuit.
July 18, 2022 at 04:48
Hi Brit, upon enquiring on the status of my DV 2022 scheduling, this is the response I had from the KCC;
“Thank you for your inquiry.
Your case number is now current for interview processing. Once the interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via email to check https://dvprogram.state.gov. If you need to make changes to your DS-260 you should contact the consular section where you will be interviewed, or bring the information about your changes to your interview appointment. Because your case is ready to be scheduled, KCC can no longer unlock your application or change your interview location.”
Please, does this seem to mean that I may get an appointment before September 30, 2022?
Thank you
July 25, 2022 at 12:26
Not necessarily.
July 18, 2022 at 05:35
Hi Brit
Could you please let me know whether we need to see line no 11 (adjusted gross income) or line 15 (taxable income) of form 1040 to compare with poverty guideline
Many thanks

July 18, 2022 at 06:17
Dear Sir,
I was born in the UAE and currently residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I submitted that the foreign state chargeability is Saudi Arabia by mistake. Can this error be corrected in the DS-260 form or can i explain the case to the consular later in interview ?
Thanks in advance
July 25, 2022 at 12:27
No need to correct anything – you might discuss at the interview.
July 18, 2022 at 15:54
Hi Brit,
I applied for DV2022 from the USA. So my interview should be in the US. I saw kinda late (September 2021) that I was selected. I then immediately filed DS260. My DV number is low and was already in bulletin board. I paid $330 fee but have not heard anything from KCC. They did not send an email asking for documents, interview, anything. I tried calling emailing but nothing. I don’t know what to do at this point and Im afraid to lose this. My understanding is that they email you requesting documentation and then schedule an interview…any recommendations?
July 25, 2022 at 12:33
You failed to understand the process or follow it. You might have ruined your chance because you have almost no time, and have not understood the process correctly. It was up to YOU to do things such as file the I-485. Honestly you would probably be better hiring a lawyer. Contact Jesse Bless immediately – he might be able to save your chance.

Hello
I have a question in Ds260 I said that I have traveled for the last five years except countries and I have not traveled to them because of whether I need to open Ds or wait for the interview time
July 25, 2022 at 13:54
Interview.

Hi Brit’s you’re doing good work and I’m interested and am pray for my cases
July 19, 2022 at 01:58
Hello Brit. Simon! My family are DV 2023 winners including my parents and two siblings. I am not included in the initial application since I am over the age of 21 and already residing in the US. When filing out the DS 260, under “family information: children” section, it says to include all children but doesn’t specify if it only means eligible children (unmarried and under 21) or all children even if over the age of 21. Can you please shed a light on who to include in this section?
Much appreciated!
July 25, 2022 at 13:55
All children, even those over 21
July 19, 2022 at 05:44
Hi Brit!
#DV-21
Oral argument on September 16!
What actually does that mean ? Would you please make it a bit easy for me to understand?
Thank you!
July 25, 2022 at 13:55
A hearing in front of the JUdge where the lawyers can verbally make their case.
July 19, 2022 at 09:13
Hi Simon,
Just circling back and letting you know my family and I were approved today for our green cards from the Sydney Australia US consulate.
Would like to thank you for all your answers to our queries and making the process less stressful.
Do you have any articles re next steps after greencard approval I can read up on?
Regards
Sharlene
July 19, 2022 at 11:05
Congratulations Sharlene! What a relief for you and your family, particularly with the delays in Sydney. Can I ask where were you ranked and when did receive the 2NL? x
July 25, 2022 at 13:56
Congrats.
The FAQ has a section with a couple of notes about next steps
July 19, 2022 at 15:15
Hello Sir,
I have been scheduled for August 17th, but got fired from my previous job. Getting a new one was inevitable because I have to finance the upcoming cost in connection to my upcoming interview. Now my new Job is not listed in my DS260. Do I have to unlock or can I tell them at the Interview that I have a new Job?
July 25, 2022 at 13:56
At interview.
July 19, 2022 at 23:36
HiBrett Simon, I have a Ds260 blocking issue
I contacted kcc and they sent me that they will send my information to the appropriate department and until today you have not contacted the embassy to give me the code in order to open the form again
What do you recommend
July 25, 2022 at 14:01
Keep asking them.
July 20, 2022 at 08:08
Dear brit,
Thank you for your effort in supporting us,
I want to tell you that Syria’s post is amman, but amman only allows syrians to enter its border, “palastinian syrian” aren’t allowed to get into jordan/amman,
Do you think KCC don’t know that matter?
And please what Can I do to avoid being scheduled in a country I can’t have an access to
Regards,
July 25, 2022 at 14:03
You will need to contact KCC by email and make sure that is clear.
July 20, 2022 at 10:33
Hi Brit, thank you for your good work
I am dv lottery selectee from Ghana with case number AF44xxx
Am now filling my form Ds- 260
Looking at the case delay in ghana am afraid I will not get interview slot here.
Is it possible to choose a neighbor country as my place for interview and but will be staying in ghana until interview time then go to the selected country for the interview
July 25, 2022 at 14:12
You left off the year, but I assume it’s 2023. Your number won’t be current for almost a year – so no one knows what the situation will be then. They choose the embassy based on your home address. So – they will choose Accra, regardless of what you select.
July 20, 2022 at 12:55
A friend and wife have been schedule an appointement at Dakar on Septemmber 21, 2022.
Does anyone know the current medical fees?
CN 2022AF58XXX
July 25, 2022 at 14:12
Ask the physician.
July 20, 2022 at 14:27
Hello Simon, while filling the dv application I used high school diploma as the highest education. At that time I was still in the university but had not completed course work. When I filled ds260, I specified other in the highest level of education and wrote “completed course work expecting graduation in june 2022”. How can you advise on this?
July 25, 2022 at 14:13
I can’t advise with such a vague question.
July 20, 2022 at 18:42
Hello dear Simon, hope you are doing well!
I’m from Afghanistan and since Afghanistan is one of the two countries which still suffers from polio and we all get polio vaccination and other vaccination like ( BCG, OPV, Penta, Heb B, Rota, measles, IPV ) in the childhood.
1 : I’ve answered yes to the ( do you have documentation which proves you are vaccinated according to US law? ) in the DS-260 even though I don’t have any documentation.
I answered yes because some so called expert told me that we will need to do medical check up before interview and I can prove being vaccinated in the medical check up.
Do you think that I should unlock my DS260 form and change the answer to No or should I tell the counselor in the interview about why I answered yes.
Regards. ( 2023AS20k )

It’s not a big problem. No was the better answer, but you don’t need to change it or be worried.
July 20, 2022 at 19:11
My second and third questions are
2 : what is i-134? And who are supposed to fill it?
Does all dv winners need to know someone in US that should support them and have a specified amount of income?
3 : In filling Ds260 I answered to question of adding the address and details of a relative, friend or someone that I know in the US. And I think my green card will also be send to his address. And also I didn’t face any question regarding I-134 in the DS260 should I be worried or not?
( that person will let me stay in his house for like month or 2 until I find a job and settle my self )

Hello britsimon
I got approved and now I need to enter the USA , I need more time to organize for the relocation , im planing to enter the USA for a week and then come back on later date .
Question is , should I tell about my plans to exit to the immigration officer?
Also Is it problematic of I will return about 8 months later?
Thanks

No need to tell anyone your plans and the return after 8 months is fine.

Hello mr Simon . Hope u r doing well.
Case number as27000. I just got my interview date it on sep 15 . I have a questions I need ur advice with .
1 .I mistakenly used my grandfather’s name as my middle name . The winning letter was my first name/grandfather’s name/ surname.
I corrected that in the ds260 . And got the confirmation page with the correct name order. Still the interview letter was like the old order . Should I contact kcc or the embassy to explain . Will that be an issue in the that of the interview ?
July 25, 2022 at 14:26
No need to explain to KCC. It might come up at the interview, but wouldn’t normally cause denial.

Hi Simon
I believe that the consulate in Sydney is finally open and processing cases and people. Have made a video about reaching the final day September 30 and you have not attended your interview because of the delays caused by the pandemic. Please let me know. I am curious and I want to learn a lot from you. Thanks a lot

Dear Britsimon,
I applied green card in Sri Lanka. However now I live in UK with my younger daughter and husband. I am a student and and student visa in UK. But my elder daughter is in Sri Lanka.
It will be an issue for us to participate interview in two countries…..
I have submitted our DV -260 applications and received only confirmation. Not yet requested to upload the documents.
My case number 2023AS00011734
Appreciate your kind advice.

Dear Simon,
I have a question regarding my DS-260. I work as an airline pilot. Currently based in Turkey and flying from here to many Middle Eastern countries as well as Europe. Do the places where I stay overnight on business also count among the places that I have to enter in the DS-260 under Travel History? I don’t have a registered address in Turkey because I commute between Germany and Turkey. Should I still give an address because the police clearance certificate does not have an address either.
July 25, 2022 at 14:27
No & No.
Number questions.
July 25, 2022 at 14:48
Dear Brit,
I have already send the DS-260 with the country’s visited.
1. Should I unlock my one and delete the country’s that I have visited? I have a B1/2 visa because of ESTA was not approved for me which means they now already more or lees everything about me????
2. even I watched you videos I still have to study a bit about the case numbers. Is 2023EU111XX a case number that have a chance to be invited for the interview in FRA?
July 26, 2022 at 12:44
1. NO need.
2. The number is fine.
July 25, 2022 at 15:56
By the way….you do a great job and make the journey towards the green card more understandable.
I will definitely donate to support you with this side.

Hi Mr. Simon, Its me again. Hope you are doing good. Another question. What really happens at the AP stage at the Consular? Is it a kind of background check? Does it take long time?
July 25, 2022 at 14:28
Varies by case. I can’t answer generically.
July 22, 2022 at 15:35
No documents required for Dv2023. Wait for the instructions from KCC.
July 24, 2022 at 12:39

Hello Simon,
Hope all is well.
If i am accepted at interview and they stamp my passport with the visa, can i apply for jobs based on the visa before travelling to the states and receiving my SSN and green card?
Can i stay in my home country for 3-4 months and apply for jobs from here? and are there disadvantages in doing so?
Thank you!
July 25, 2022 at 14:30
You can do so, but employers are unlikely to take you seriously unless you have a very sought after skill.
July 23, 2022 at 09:40
Close. Forget it

Hi Mr.Simon, I am a 2022Dv winner from Asia Region. My case is already scheduled at the U.S Embassy in Bangkok. Currently the U.S embassy in bangkok said that the diversity visa winners have to submit I-134 form when they attend the visa interview. I want to know that does it really need to fill I-134 form as a dv winner?
July 25, 2022 at 14:33
Yes – if they are asking for it – you need an answer to that!

July 25, 2022 at 14:35
