Do you expect 2Nls for this week? EU?
July 11, 2024 at 15:52
Maybe. Remember, the stupidity of the Vb will have caused extra work for KCC. Just be patient.
July 12, 2024 at 02:56
But what kind of work I thought it is automated in 2024 haha
July 12, 2024 at 08:25
Well they have about 40 people doing something…
July 12, 2024 at 13:02
Is it just because all people are sending messages to them?
Or because of organizing stuff?
July 12, 2024 at 14:12
Organization probably. They will be trying to use the capacity of smaller embassies.
July 11, 2024 at 14:00
Hi Simon,
what’s the comments on Colombo embassy, do you think they stop issuing interview appointments? No 2NL issues for nearly two months.
July 11, 2024 at 15:52
I dont know
July 11, 2024 at 13:45
hello simon i have question for you.
i am dv 2025AF64XXX winning.
1. my marriage is beginning to move at the end of life where in divorce is expecting and my wife with no children was already added in the ds-260, becos my marital status was married during filling the dv 2025 lottery form. in the ds-260 i stated that she will be moving with me to the US.

how will this issue affect me during interview.
can you please guide me the divorce process for my interview alone.
July 11, 2024 at 10:06
Is it possible to track the number for each country during the process? So, how far our embassy has gone till now and we can predict if we will have any chance.
July 11, 2024 at 12:52
We get data from Ceac.
https://dvcharts.xarthisius.xyz/ceacFY24.html
July 12, 2024 at 05:23
A visual tracker for each embassy would be a great idea, xarthisuis do you hear the People’s pleas for help? Lol

Hi Simon!
I have 2005EU32xxx number. Do we already know if that number has a chance, or is it too soon?
Thanks!
July 11, 2024 at 09:29
2025 you mean.
Too soon.
July 11, 2024 at 06:34
Does ds 260 filling date play role in this process? I MEAN If I filled it sooner than winner with lower case number does my queue comes first?
July 11, 2024 at 09:28
No
July 11, 2024 at 06:13
Hi Simon,
I’m a lucky winner of 2025 dv lottery with a case number 31k. I currently have a 5years B1/B2 VISA which expires in 2029. I recentky returned from the US after spending 3months and 1 week as a first time entrant. I’m based in Ghana but want to do my interview in Sierra Leone. I wrote to KCC to unlock my application which has been done. I have my wife and two children both below 7 years on my application.
Do you advice I submit my application now considering Sierra Leone? Which will indicate that I’m currently staying in Sierra Leon. In that case if I go there few weeks or a month before my interview will that not require me to get a police report from SierraLeone? And will that not also indicate that I lied when I was filling my form?
Can I leave the children in Ghana and go for the interview with my wife alone?
What advice can you give me to get the right timing and so as to do the right thing.
What are the possible implications on my nonimigrant visa?
Are children also expected to take vaccination? And which vaccinations are my wife and I suppose to have.
July 11, 2024 at 09:27
If you say you live in SL now, you will need a police cert later.
Number questions please.
July 11, 2024 at 06:12
Dear Mr. Simon,
I just received my immigration visas for all five of my family members. I would like to ask a question regarding the green card application. Do I have to apply now, even though I haven’t traveled to the US yet? Will applying abroad as early as possible help in receiving the green card sooner? Or does the countdown for receiving the Green Card start after I enter the US?Thank you, sir.
July 11, 2024 at 09:25
You have to enter and pay the fee.
July 11, 2024 at 05:30
HI Simon , My Number is EU 42xx , but in consular that I selected ( TBL- Tbilisi) looks like there is no chance that i’lll be invited to interview. What should be the case/basis reason for KSS to agree to change the consulate ?
July 11, 2024 at 09:23
That you moved countries
July 11, 2024 at 04:54
Hi Simon,
My Case number is AS18000 Iran. I’ve chosen the Kuala Lumpur Embassy for interview. Do you think still no garanty to get scheduled for interview?
By the way, I’ve been in US last year with my family by tourist visa. It that helps the investigation procedure or it will consider a new case?
July 11, 2024 at 09:22
No guarantee.
No help from the previous visit.
July 11, 2024 at 03:34
Hi Simon , was at the interview yesterday and was requested to update my divorce details as it was ready a few days to the interview. So they opened my Ds260 for me to update which I did on the same day. When I check my status am getting two results. The fort one is Refused and second one is Ready. What does this mean? Am I now ok?They remained with my passport.
July 11, 2024 at 09:20
I dont know from your explanation.
July 11, 2024 at 03:17

July 11, 2024 at 01:15
Hello Sir.
There will be another visabulletin for 2024 and if it will , will it be the last one for 2024?
And another question if you may help me.
How many people are selected for Eu Romania in 2024 and how many visas ar available for the same region and country?
Thank you so much for your time and help.
July 11, 2024 at 09:18
That was the final bulletin.
The selectee numbers are in the September 2023 visa bulletin. Go check.
July 10, 2024 at 23:43
Hey simon,
Thanks for your yt videos. You have helped me a lot.
My friend got his green card via DV just 3 months ago. And his father is also in US seeking asylum but his asylum case is still pending.
So, can he apply for his father’s green card through his side once he gets citizenship??
July 10, 2024 at 23:46
Yes, but getting citizenship will take 5 years.
July 11, 2024 at 02:25
The other option is he becomes a citizen through US military service and naturalization can happen quickly…. Google the process. Food for thought
July 10, 2024 at 23:38
Hey simon,
I got my 10 years green card through dv lottery on May,2024.
So, can i go to my home country, stay for a month and then return back to US??
Will it create any problems while returning??
I dont plan to stay there for more than a month tho.
Also, what should i do to travel??
Just book my tickets or is there any other additional process?
July 10, 2024 at 23:46
No problem, no other process.
July 10, 2024 at 22:04
Hello Simon,
I am DV 2025 selectee with case number AF164**. Looking at the performance of the Accra Embassy, Ghana this fiscal year, do I stand a chance of getting 2NL? Again, will you advice me to change my interview location sooner?
I commend for your good works.
July 10, 2024 at 23:22
If they operate the same as this year, you will lose your chance. So if you can move, do so.
July 10, 2024 at 19:25
Do you know if people from FRN received Their 2NLs?
Getting nervous CN30500
July 10, 2024 at 20:06
None yet.
July 10, 2024 at 17:41
Hi Simon,
I am a DV 2024 applicaant have got my DS-260 recently unlocked by Consular service and have added my wife whom i married after i had submitted my ds-260; I will attend the interview on 22 July 24. However we have no option to complete a DS-260 for my wife as a derivative. The application portal https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx doesnt give us any option to add a derivative. We have messaged the consular asking helping us finding out how we can fill in her application but they havent been able to help. Their reply has been that we should be able to complete her DS-260 but without telling us how to do so. I would appreciate any advice on this situation.
July 10, 2024 at 20:05
There is an add applicant button on the CEAC site, but it may only be visible if your case is unlocked. However, discuss with the embassy also.
July 11, 2024 at 06:31
Thank you so much for your reply Simon. An Add applicant button is not available on my CEAC application page, with the case unlocked. I will keep e-mailing the embassy to see if they can provide some guidance. Many thanks
July 10, 2024 at 15:35
Hi Simon,
At the time I filled and submitted the DS-260 form, my marital status was single. However, I am now married and will be adding my spouse’s DS-260 form. My question is, should I unlock my submitted DS-260 form to change my marital status, or is adding my spouse and the marriage certificate sufficient?
July 15, 2024 at 09:53
You have to unlock your own form too.
July 10, 2024 at 11:14
Hi Simon,
Is it even worth applying the adjustment of status as I’m EU 66,6xx ?
Do USCIS accept application beyond the cut-off number ?
Are there any chance that they change for EU into CURRENT when they release Bulletin on Sep ?
July 10, 2024 at 16:19
No chance.
July 10, 2024 at 11:13
Hi Simon, my case number is 2024AS42XXX which is not current. But still I have received an email from KCC with subject Adjustment of Status Mail Form. The reason I am confused upon receiving this email is because in the letter they have attached, one of the line says “Also, it is important to remember that you cannot apply for adjustment of status until an immigrant visa number is available. To see if a visa number is available, please refer to your DV case number and check the current Department of State Visa Bulletin”. Could you please guide.
July 10, 2024 at 16:18
Because of your number there is not a visa available for you and you should not submit AOS paperwork.
July 10, 2024 at 11:03
You’re getting swarmed with question with the new VB lol. It’s gonna be a mess. *prepps popcorn*
July 10, 2024 at 09:37
Hi Brit,
I faced the interview on 07th of June and got approved.
However still status Indicates as “Ready”. Why is that?
I have all education qualifications, my sponsor has salary limits and all, I don’t have any travel histories, I’m single applicant. So don’t know why its getting late
July 10, 2024 at 09:53
I dont know why they haven’t updated the status yet
July 10, 2024 at 16:35
Just waiting.
July 11, 2024 at 12:25
Is there anything I can do?
July 11, 2024 at 12:50
Wait
July 10, 2024 at 08:34
Hello Simon,
toady was my interview and they approved my case, thank you so much for all your help,
Now they asked me to sign in ustraveldocs for IV Address Registration, now when I login and put my information, their is field to choose what is the type of your visa, and there is no DV field to check, so I put a random visa name (AM), is it okay? they told me to register just to send back my passport with Aramex
July 10, 2024 at 09:18
If you registered then that’s ok.
July 10, 2024 at 07:56
Have you Heard about frankfurt embassy, did they already sent out 2NLS?
July 10, 2024 at 09:15
It’s 10.15 am in Kentucky. Patience.
July 10, 2024 at 06:59
Hello , i just want to know do i have any chance to get 2nl ,if in the september visa bulletin for example goes to 55k eu or this was the last number ,, my case num 54keu , thnx u
July 10, 2024 at 09:14
This was the final VB for 2024 and the numbers won’t change.
July 10, 2024 at 06:35
Hi Brit Simon,
I have been watching your videos for a few years and now a winner myself DV25. Thanks for the free information! I enjoy watching your channel. I am OC28** my case number is going to be tight, do you know much about Perth Consulate in Australia, how efficient they are with scheduling interviews etc or do you recommend I change to Melbourne or Sydney or if it makes no difference in Australia?
Also, if I should unlock to update every little change of jobs that occurs between now and the interview and if I should add current university (I’m now a masters student) info? As well, I didn’t complete high school (I proceeded with entry because it says high school or equivalent education in itself to gain US college admission). Should I add this info even though high school is not complete?
Sorry for the million questions, appreciate your time helping us out 🙂
Regards,
Timothy
July 10, 2024 at 09:13
Only Sydney is authorized for DV interviews.
No need to update for new jobs etc.
July 10, 2024 at 20:27
I already selected Perth as my place of interview. Would I need to contact KCC to change it to Sydney or will it get assigned to Sydney automatically?
Do you know why they allow a selection of an embassy if it doesn’t interview DV cases?
July 10, 2024 at 20:31
They will ignore your choice.
The ds260 is used for other cases.
July 10, 2024 at 20:48
So it sounds like I don’t unlock to change location if Sydney is the only embassy.
Last question would the medical still be done in Perth?
Thanks for the quick answers.
July 10, 2024 at 21:02
No need to unlock.
Check the physician list.
July 11, 2024 at 04:38
Should I unlock to add in high school history even if year 12 is not completed? I applied because it says high school or equivalent education in itself to qualify for US college admission. DV25.
July 11, 2024 at 09:21
Yes
July 10, 2024 at 05:36
Hey Brit just watched your last vid
And im wondering if i have a chance in the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia embassy with my AF112k case number
July 10, 2024 at 09:10
Everyone has to wait and see
July 10, 2024 at 05:06
Hi Brit , today I receive e-mail saying , they refuse to give 9095 visas is it true?
we are hopeless now.

July 10, 2024 at 09:07
Yes.
July 10, 2024 at 09:20
Hello Simon,
I am from Kenya, case number 65k .
I got my 2nl and Interview appointment but I have pending medical issue that is supposed to end September 9. I have been told to attend the interview but then I will not be issued a visa till 9th September.
My question is will the current situation affect me?
July 10, 2024 at 09:52
I don’t know.
July 10, 2024 at 04:14
Hi Simon! Do I need to submit any documents to the KCC in addition to the DS-260 form?
July 10, 2024 at 09:06
No
July 16, 2024 at 13:51
Thank you very much for your reply!
July 10, 2024 at 02:03
Hi Simon!
Are the September VB numbers totally final or there could still be a retrogression next month ?
Thank you!
July 10, 2024 at 09:03
Final
July 10, 2024 at 00:58
Hi Simon, not sure if my question was submitted before 🙂 So I have this case, my interview is scheduled in August EU, on my DS form, I did not include that I had changed my name back in 2018, every single document that I have is with my new name, even birth certificate and high school diploma…will it be an issue if I bring my name change document + police records for both old and new name to the interview and if they ask me I tell them it was just a genuine mistake while sending ds, not me trying to hide somethin?? (btw, I mentioned that I had name changes to the person who filled it out, I went to the office and they work on dvl winners…), thanks <3
July 10, 2024 at 08:59
It sounds problematic to me. The only way to be sure is attend the interview.
July 10, 2024 at 00:48
Hi Simon
My case no 24019AS
CAN I GET2NL
July 10, 2024 at 08:55
Wait and see.
July 10, 2024 at 00:20
Greeting dear Brit Simon, couple of days ago I was collecting my thought to write a thank you comment to the great effort you do to help many people in the world, since I ,at that time, lost hope in getting a chance!
But this morning I saw your video and was surprized that I might get a chance! So, I’m 2024AS255xx in Amman, I found that:-
• Amman did well in june (50 scheduled interviews)
• 67 cases in Amman embassy before me (29 of them already scheduled until Aug 14th)
would I have a chance to get a visa?
July 10, 2024 at 08:53
You have calculated as well as I would. All you can do now is wait and see.
July 10, 2024 at 18:24
Hi brit, I got my visa approved yesterday, in ceac data it’s showing administrative processing, what does this mean? And how much time does it take to stay in this status?
July 10, 2024 at 20:06
Wait a few days to see issued.
July 9, 2024 at 23:40
Sir Nepal is already backlog in 2 nl and recently got updated to 13 k is there any chance to get 2 nl up to 12 k or all 13 k will get
July 9, 2024 at 23:54
We will see.
July 9, 2024 at 23:04
Good morning Mr Simon
I am from Algeria living in UAE
Now Africa region is Current but my number is AF115k
Is there any chance for an interview at Abu Dhabi even I am from Algeria cutoff is 108k
Just a hope 😊or it is not logic
Thank you
July 9, 2024 at 23:54
No.
July 9, 2024 at 21:45
Hi Simon,
I’ve been patiently waiting for DV2025 selectee numbers while trying to maintain my sanity. I guess I’ll need to wait for another month. I was surprised to see the recent VB numbers and I can think of 2 reasons why the government may have drastically increased the case numbers: 1) State Department might be trying to argue for an increase in their budget in the next fiscal year by showing capacity issues due to increased demand for visa processing. 2) The government might be favoring selectees who are comparatively more privileged economically, at least privileged enough to support themselves living in a different country while processing their visas after carrying their cases to another embassy. Do you think either of these scenarios could be true?
July 9, 2024 at 23:53
Two bad guesses.
July 10, 2024 at 05:13
Well, what would be a better guess? It is hard to believe this was an uncalculated move with no reason.
July 10, 2024 at 09:09
I didn’t say I have a better guess. It’s nuts.
July 9, 2024 at 19:35
Hi Simon,
Huge thanks to you for all the free knowledge!
My situation is a bit more complicated:
Case n 2024EU00033xxx
I might get a chance at an interview in September but I completed my ds260 as single and I want to marry my girlfriend. How long should it take for my ds260 to be edited and for hers to be accepted? I’ll add that im currently in California with a j1 visa while she’s in romania, where im planing to fly for the wedding certificate
July 9, 2024 at 23:52
You have left this stupidly late. What process are you using, AOS or CP?
July 9, 2024 at 17:17
Hi Simon,
I am a 2024 selectee with CN 2024AF82XXX , from Sudan and expected to interview in Egypt , I read the last Visa bulletin and I am little confused , for Africa it says Current , According to my case is there still a chance to get 2nl ?
Thank you very much.
July 9, 2024 at 23:50
Maybe
July 9, 2024 at 16:50
Dear Simon,
My case number is 2024AS20XXX
I’m from the West Bank and my interview is in Jerusalem. I know that it impossible to attend an interview in Jerusalem under the current circumstances in Israel.
My best chance is to have my interview is in Amman Jordan. What measures should I take to make this happen? I’m assuming I need to wait until I’m scheduled in Jerusalem then ask them to transfer me to Amman, is that correct ? Is there enough time for me to process the transfer and re schedule in Jordan ?
I’m both grateful for having become current and panicking over how I’m going to get my visa.
July 9, 2024 at 23:49
Yes you understand correctly.
July 10, 2024 at 08:03
How long does a transfer often take?
Also Jerusalem embassy requires me to bring 1)Palestinian certificate of non conviction from the court 2)Palestinian certificate of good conduct from the police 3) Israeli police certificate.
I can bring all of the paperwork from the Palestinian side. But bringing any documents from the Israeli side is an impossibility now.
My only option if I’m transferred to Amman is to bring only Palestinian documents and see what happens.
July 10, 2024 at 09:16
Transfers between embassies happen after a 2nl, and time varies.
July 11, 2024 at 18:06
On the Israeli side, you fill a form online at the police department website and they send the approval directly to the embassy. This is the procesure for everyone, not just people who are not able to get the document. I hope this helps.
July 10, 2024 at 08:08
I have another question
If I’m transferred to Amman, do I enter a queue where I waited to be scheduled again with other cases at Amman or do I immediately get rescheduled as soon as I’m transferred?
Do I have a priority over others since I have been already scheduled in Jerusalem?
July 10, 2024 at 09:17
No other queue if they agree to take the case.
July 9, 2024 at 15:57
Dear Simon, I’m African and have been randomly selected in 2025 dv lottery. But, my DV case number is given as Oceania(2025OC2xxx). I haven corrected and completed as African ds-260 form .What shall I do? What are my chance to get interview schedule and getting visa? Can I refuse a visa for the 2025 DV lottery?
July 9, 2024 at 23:48
You made a mistake in the entry and will be refused. Don’t waste your money on the interview.
July 9, 2024 at 15:56
Hello Simon, I am from DV2024 lottery and I made a disastrous mistake by not noticing it. I wrote my son’s name incorrectly, his first name, and my number has been scheduled as AS18000. What can I do?
July 9, 2024 at 23:47
Trivial. Fox it at the interview.
July 9, 2024 at 12:12
Hi Simon,
I recently posted a question during your live youtube session. I wanted to know if you have any suggestions for good lawyers in the US to help out for complicated AOS cases? The reason I ask is because my partner who won the DV 2025 lottery has an arrest record, I don’t want to go too much into it, but our case might have cause to be inadmissible from what I’ve gathered. Since our case isn’t straightforward, I believe we should consult with a lawyer so that we don’t lose such a great opportunity. Please do let me know if you have any suggestions or advice! I really appreciate all that you do
July 9, 2024 at 23:39
Bless litigation would be my recommendation
July 9, 2024 at 12:03
Hi Simon! am pretty sure you are getting questions now left, right and center due to the good Visa Bulletin Jump today! I appreciate your help and time!
So now, my case number made it (case number is 2024AF53K from Egypt) but I live in the US since 2019 on an E2 status. I have submitted my DS260 back in May the very next day after I knew I got a selection. Submitted the application for me, my spouse and three dependent children.
Now what? how can I adjust the status to permanent residence? and am I still in “trouble” since the deadline to file my adjustment of status is September 30 and I’ve heard that USCIS takes forever to process my application?
Thank you for your time!
July 9, 2024 at 23:38
To stand a chance you should file AOS immediately.
July 9, 2024 at 12:01
Hello Simon, I just checked the visa bulletin and it showed me different numbers than in the screenshot you got. Did they change the numbers? :O For example EU 30.000 instead of 50000
Greetings from France xx

July 9, 2024 at 11:55
Hi Simon,
I was shocked when I saw this DV2024 EU jump from 30000 to 50000. Being a number EU31823 I was hoping that they at least jump to 32000 which would be he same cut-off number as previous year so we could hope for a chance to get inteviewed, but in this case it sounds like we should be fine. I still hope it’s not some mistake 😀
I wanted to ask you since all regions have jumped high and September is the last month for interviews, do you think there will be a queue which would put our number ahead than someone who is let’s say EU49800.
Does that mean that we should expect interview in the beginning of September?
And when are usually 2NLs sent when it’s the last month, like middle of August or?
I believe many people are curios about this so I hope you will explain it in the next video 🙂
Best regards
