Hi Simon,
I passed my Greencard interview at the Sydney Consulate! Woohoo! Thanks for all your help!
I just have to complete my medical exam next week.
I have an exemption letter from my doctor to not get the Covid and Flu vaccines because I have reactions to some medications. I will have had all the other vaccines required.
Will this affect my Greencard going through?
It says that you can ask for an exemption on grounds of religion and medical reasons and the doctor said they just check off a box to say I had a letter of exemption and it’s up to the Consulate.
If they decide it’s not ok, would I get an opportunity to get the vaccines to then get approved? I will get them if I absolutely have to, but I don’t want to take the risk of having a reaction if I don’t have to.
Thanks!
October 8, 2024 at 23:26
My advice would be to get the vaccines.
October 9, 2024 at 05:41
Do you know of any cases that were denied because of medical exemption? My health is pretty important
October 9, 2024 at 08:35
My health is pretty important too, which is why I expect people that I might be around to get vaccinated so that they don’t spread disease.

Subject: Inquiry Regarding DV Program Application
Hello Simon,
I hope you’re doing well. I would like to inquire about my case regarding the DV program. I hold passports from two countries: Pakistan and Afghanistan. The same applies to my wife and children. I was born in Afghanistan, which is an eligible country, whereas Pakistan is not.
Currently, I reside in Pakistan, where I obtained my degree, gained work experience, and run my own business. I am now looking to leave the country and would like to apply for the DV program using my Afghan passport. However, I am unsure how to present my education and work experience, which are based in Pakistan.
Could you kindly guide me on how to proceed with the application under these circumstances?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Sadiq Ahmad

Eligibility is based on place of birth. So apply.

hi Simons
I am a Ghanaian and currently in Ghana, but I have stayed in Nigeria before but was not more than 12 months in 2022. please I want to know must i go for a police clearance form from Nigeria or not?
October 8, 2024 at 10:08
If you were there close to 12 months, then get the police cert.
October 8, 2024 at 08:43
Hi Simon
A bit of a silly question
If we apply, and with luck, get selected under the diversity Visa.
We have six months to “move” to the usa.
Is this an actual “move” i.e do we need to actually move to the USA fully, or can we fly out, activate the visa, stay for a while and actually move on a later date?
October 8, 2024 at 10:07
The latter. Plenty of people do activation trips.
Once you are a GC holder (or LPR) you are expected to live in the USA. However, you are free to leave for up to 12 months at a time, although absences under 6 months are best.
October 8, 2024 at 08:05
Dear Simon,
I am in the process of completing my Diversity Visa application and would like to ask a question regarding the entry of my city of birth.
I was born in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. However, I am aware that the application form requests the city of birth without including the state, province, or additional regional details. Given that “im Breisgau” is part of the city’s official name (The appendix “in/im Breisgau” is used as there exists another town with the name Freiburg in Germany) but may be considered a regional addition, I am unsure whether I should enter the full name “Freiburg im Breisgau” or simply “Freiburg.”
Thank you very much for your help!
Sincerely,
Paul
October 8, 2024 at 10:05
Google finds the town as Freiburg im Breisgau. Use that.
Beautiful area – I have friends near Tubingen.
October 8, 2024 at 04:46
My date of birth on my birthday certificate is 10/01/84.but it’s written 10/09/84. Will that pose a problem at interview?
October 8, 2024 at 10:00
OK birth cert.
The birth cert is supposed to be correct. If you can’t get it fixed, then 10/1/84 is your DOB.
October 8, 2024 at 04:44
Mr Simon. My certificate has an error in the month of birth. Will that pose a problem at interview
October 8, 2024 at 09:59
Which certificate?? Are you talking about your birth cert?
October 8, 2024 at 03:19
I have a question to ask I am a divorcee I have three children only one will be coming with me if I’m selected in the lottery the other two will be staying here with the mother is that going to be a problem or no what are three of the kids have a green card or just the one that will be coming with me if selected
October 8, 2024 at 09:56
When you enter, you must include all unmarried children under 21.
If selected you then only complete the DS260 for those derivatives that you want to have a greencard.
October 8, 2024 at 02:43
Hi Simon,
I’m flying today to the USA to activate the visa and have a short vacation. What should I expect from the immigration process at the air port? Any preparation needed? Is it open at all times? I carry with me the passport with the visa ,the brown envelope I got from the embassy, and the x-ray CD. I paid the processing fee. Anything else I missed? Thanks
October 8, 2024 at 09:52
Nothing you missed. It is all very simple, just make sure they understand you are a new immigrant. Best of luck!
October 8, 2024 at 00:19
Good day Simon,
It says on the form to leave spouses or children out of the entry if they are US citizens so just to make sure – since both mine are indeed US citizens do I just put 0 for number of children? Thanks in advance for your response.
October 8, 2024 at 09:51
Yes
October 7, 2024 at 18:02
I’m a 2025 selectee. Am I allowed to enter the 2026 lottery as well in case I’m unsuccessful between now and the end of next September? Are there any restrictions on this?
October 7, 2024 at 18:06
Yes you can do that.
October 7, 2024 at 14:22
Hi Simon
This is probably a stupid question but want to get it right, for the education section I have completed 8 CSEs back in 1984 and for this count for high school with diploma?
Regards
Chris P
October 7, 2024 at 16:25
If we are talking about the UK education system, then no that would not meet the requirement. A US High School graduate is typical 18 and can enter college (US name for University). So the UK equivalent to that level is achieving 3 A level passes. So you probably don’t qualify on education.
Certain jobs do allow you to meet the requirement. Explained at the link below.
https://britsimonsays.com/education-or-work-experience-qualifying-for-the-dv-lottery/
October 7, 2024 at 18:40
Yes UK education and understand I don’t qualify for education as will meet requirements for jobs as I am a Software engineer for 20+ years. So I guess Primary school is my selection for this question?
October 7, 2024 at 20:00
OK great.
You can say you finished HS with no diploma
October 7, 2024 at 11:11
Can a 19 year old person apply individually if he has higher education eligibility?
Is it correct that the same person is in his family in his father’s and his mother’s separate application?
October 7, 2024 at 16:20
All correct.
October 7, 2024 at 10:12
Dear Simon,
I have a few questions regarding entering the USA and applying for AOS:
1- I would like to know when is the best time to enter the USA and apply for AOS, after being current or is it possible to be there before being current?
2- Will I face difficulties at the point of entry with a B1/B2 Visa? Do I have to declare my intention to apply for an AOS to the officer at the port of entry?
3- If I have a big number can I apply for AOS even if I know that my number will never become current?
Thank you
October 7, 2024 at 16:19
1. Depends on the precise situation, but generally before being current.
2. You have to be careful about that. Either don’t have the intention or speak to a lawyer to agree what you would say if asked.
3. No.
October 7, 2024 at 10:02
Hello BritSimon,
I am a DV2025 winner.
My interview at the embassy is scheduled for November.
As I have no family living in the United States, I have indicated in my DS-260 the address of a hotel where I could possibly stay for the first few weeks. I have not yet booked the accommodation.
My 2 questions are as follows:
– First, during the interview, does the agent ask for proof of our address (such as proof of reservation, for example).
– Secondly, if I get the green card after my interview, I think I’ll look for an apartment to rent before arriving in the USA. And the address and city may be totally different from the one I gave at my interview in November. Can I easily change my address and city when I arrive at the airport with the immigration officer to receive my green card?
Thank you very much for your help.
October 7, 2024 at 16:17
1. No
2. This really isn’t a good plan since it will be hard to secure an apartment before you arrive.
Find an alternative.
October 8, 2024 at 09:33
Hi Brit.
Ok I understand. To prepare for my arrival, I think I’ll look for an apartment hotel specializing in stays of more than 30 days. This will give me time to find an apartment afterwards.
However, as I’m not yet sure where I’ll be, can I easily change the address I gave during my interview? For example, when I enter the U.S. with the immigration officer?
Thank you !
October 8, 2024 at 10:09
The last time you can change the address is upon your first entry to the USA at the port of entry.
October 7, 2024 at 08:51
Hello Mr. Simon. Watched your webinar with Jesse Bless. Case number is EU34K(Yerevan). My wife is primery winner and both of us have B1/B2 visa. Planning to visit California in the middle of this month for 2 weeks. This visit aims to get familiar with California. We are planning and I would like to get your advise as well regarding to meet a good lawyer (Jesse Bless for example, if he lives in California) to keep in touch with throughout this fiscal year in order to organize the AOS process properly with his/her guidance if it will be necessary.
What is your opinion regarding this early contacts with lawyer, and what generally would you advise to do during this trip to use it for the good of the process?
October 7, 2024 at 09:38
Generally you don’t need to meet face to face with the lawyers, so you choose the lawyer based on their skills and your trust, rather than whether they are in the area you might want to settle. Jesse is in Massachusetts, I believe.
At your case number you have a long time to wait before becoming current. You might be faced with a situation like DV2024 where the final VB makes your number current, BUT your embassy won’t schedule you because they have limited capacity. So it’s not a bad idea to talk to a lawyer, but it is too soon to switch to AOS in your situation.
October 7, 2024 at 14:55
Soo although it is yet soon to speak about AOS, but if my embassy will not schedule me anyway, I should find a good lawyer to act fast when the time comes, right?
October 7, 2024 at 16:26
That is up to you.
October 7, 2024 at 07:53
Hi Simon!
I was a selectee in dv 2024. But I didnt receive 2NL. However, I want to apply again for dv 2026. I was born in Kuwait and my husband in Lebanon. Can I use my place of born to my husband to increase the chance of winning.
Thank you
October 7, 2024 at 08:18
You could, but there is no advantage to doing so since those two countries have identical chance of selection. So it would just be adding complexity for no reason.
October 7, 2024 at 10:22
I understood, thank you
October 7, 2024 at 07:38
Hey Simon, I got a question regarding work.
I am currently employed (working as a software engineer in germany) and got a Bachelor degree as highest education level. The agency i am currently working at has lost a few big customers in the last months which could lead to me getting unemployed in early 2025. My CN is 13xxx so I would expect an interview in early 2025. In case my unemployment and the interview date would overlap, I would for sure be honest at the interview in the case they ask me if I am employed at the moment. My question is, does this affect my case under any circumstances? I know you dont “have” to be employed to get a GC in the first place. Nevertheless I think it looks better to have an employment status. Do you think this could lead to any issues or problems, even if I explain the situation?
Thanks for your advice and all the best!
October 7, 2024 at 08:16
No problem. You would be quitting your job anyway.
October 7, 2024 at 06:22
Hello Sir, I completed a 2-year program at an institution. Which option should I select? Should I choose “Some university courses” or another one?
October 7, 2024 at 06:54
You can choose.
October 7, 2024 at 07:02
sorry , you said “you can choose” , choose what if i may ask ?
October 7, 2024 at 08:15
Choose an education level that you feel is correct for your circumstance. It’s not an important question, so no need to be concerned.
October 7, 2024 at 10:30
Hope you’re doing great mrsimon im a winner of AF2025 with a cn of 30xxx i have submitted the ds260 and choose cairo for interview so im worrying about do i actually need to email kcc for further information on where i will be interviewed or they will automatically interview me in cairo sincerely yours.
October 7, 2024 at 16:20
They will base your interview on your current address.
October 7, 2024 at 06:07
Hi Simon
Do you know if any UK applicants were actually selected in last years?
October 7, 2024 at 06:53
I’m 100% sure there are some – but I don’t know how many.
October 7, 2024 at 06:05
Hi Sir I have filled my form for DV Lottery 20026 and I have also received confirmation code but there is some difference with my name and I want to solve it by you sir. My name is Abdul Raziq, I belong to Afghanistan, when I was filling this form, according to research, I wrote the form of my name Raziq in mini family name or last name and my name is Abdul. ABDUL I WRITTEN IN THE FIRST NAME AND I LEFT THE MEDIUM MIDDLE NAME AS PER RESEARCH AS I DID ON THE INTERNET BUT WHEN I RECEIVED THE CONFIRMATION CODE WITH IT MY NAME WAS NOT ABDURL RAZIQ BUT RAZIQ ABDUL BECAUSE IT WAS MINE. I had a wrong name because my own name is Abdul Raziq, now I am worried that if I get selected, what will I answer them during the interview, they will tell me that your name is Raziq Abdul and I will say that my name is Abdul Raziq. Is there any risk of visa rejection because of this or not because I am very worried please help me for God’s sake
October 7, 2024 at 06:52
This is a lottery where your chance of selection is 1 in 100 years. If you win, this can be fixed. But win first.
October 7, 2024 at 05:29
Hi Brit, Thank You so much for your help.
I register for the DV2026, by a mistake, I selected the country of Birth – Israel, but Israel is my country where I live since I was 1 year old. I was born in Uzbekistan. Can I try to register again?
Thank You!
October 7, 2024 at 06:51
No. You don’t want to become identified as someone that tries multiple entries. Try again in DV2027.
October 7, 2024 at 05:05
Hello Brit. I live in eastern Europe and I live in an apartment building. The ”building” I live in uses a letter from the Cyrillic alphabet to be identified. My question is do I write the letter as it is in Cyrillic or the English equivalent? Cheers!
October 7, 2024 at 06:50
English
October 7, 2024 at 03:51
Hi Simon,
Could we reschedule the interview to a later date after receiving the 2NL? The reason is the J1 two-year home residency requirement.
October 7, 2024 at 06:49
Yes
October 7, 2024 at 01:03
Hi Simon
I will be applying this year to the DV lottery however I am engaged living with my partner, due to be married next year.
How do we apply? Do we both apply as unmarried applicants? As we will be married next year meaning if one of us is successful our marital status will have changed. I accept a lot could change in two years so would we just notify the embassy etc if we were successful? I obviously don’t want to say I’m married when I’m applying because I’m not married yet.
Thank you
October 7, 2024 at 06:48
You apply as unmarried, and if you win, once married you can process together.

Hello Sir! Hope you’re doing great! Do you have any information about the Colombo embassy (Sri Lanka)? Have they scheduled any interview as of now? Or has anyone received their 2NLs?
October 6, 2024 at 22:33
I dont have data.
October 6, 2024 at 17:51
Hi Simon,
Regarding the address on the form, i currently live in an apartment and lease is due to renew in Feb 2025 with uncertainty to remain here, and will be also commencing the K1 visa process in the coming weeks. Should i still list my current address or potentially my parents address? Can you please advise
October 6, 2024 at 19:13
You can choose based on your situation.
October 6, 2024 at 19:56
OK can we change the address at a later date?
October 7, 2024 at 04:44

October 6, 2024 at 19:39
Hi,
I want to ask you that i was born in Saudia Arabia and i have a nationality and passport from Pakistani and currently i am employed in UAE.
Saudia is eligible for DV lottery
Pakistan is ineligible
Please let me know if i am eligible to apply this dv lottery or nit?
October 6, 2024 at 22:31
You are.
It is based on birthplace
October 6, 2024 at 16:59
Hi Simon, my address has been changed. Do I need to update my DS 260?
October 6, 2024 at 19:13
Not usually.
October 6, 2024 at 16:11
Hi Simon,
A few questions in one go, hope it is ok:
1. My wife won in DV-2025 lottery with an EU number just over 33000. My understanding that this is borderline, neither a guarantee of getting an interview, nor too far out to say that it’s impossible. Would you say that is the right way to look at it?
2. Is it possible to check which number they got to in EU for DV2024? I.e. I see that (if I am reading it correctly) cut off was at 50000, but is it possible to find out which number was the highest that actually got the visa or was invited to an interview?
3. My wife is a Latvian citizen, so her potential visa is allocated to Latvia. We are now already living in US, with a working visa. Is it more beneficial to apply to be processed in US or in Latvia, in your opinion?
Thanks!
Ed
October 6, 2024 at 19:10
1. Yes
2. All the data is at the link below, but I suggest you wait until January 1 when we have 2025 data.
3. Both methods have pros and cons. Again, you have time to wait to make your decision.

Hi BritSimon,
Thank you for the clarification in advance.
I am a srilankan born person and my wife is indian born and with this situation could we apply 2 applications with the first one with me as the main applicant and my wife as derivative and the second application with my wife as the main applicant and myself as the derivative.
October 6, 2024 at 14:47
Yes
October 6, 2024 at 10:02
I jut found your page and am so interested as we have the case number 2025OC8XX.
I would love to know what our chances are and if we can increase them in anyway and would love any insight!!!
Thank you so much for what you do.
October 6, 2024 at 10:08
Well welcome! That’s a good number, which means you are safe to have an interview. The only way to increase your chances then is simply to know how to prepare for the interview, which is normally pretty easy.
FYI I will be live on my Youtube channel in 20 minutes talking with a well known immigration lawyer about DV lottery topics.
October 6, 2024 at 08:09
I just wanted to thank you and Jesse for doing the DV2024 follow-up! EU39.7k, currently in NYC on my activation trip. 🙂 I’ve previously shared my improbable journey in the interview stories. Adding to the story, I considered an AOS and consulted with Jesse back in July. Ultimately, I leaned on Jesse’s wisdom and trusted that the Stockholm embassy would get to my case number. The AOS would have meant abruptly leaving a job where people depend on me. It feels good to have the time now to do things right. You guys are the best!!
October 6, 2024 at 09:36
That’s great to hear. I’ll mention the story to Jesse.
October 6, 2024 at 07:46
Hi Simon!
Is there any reliable place I could read up more information about the process on getting married to a non US citizen. This can be in terms of length/what if the person is doing AOS etc.
Or if you have anything to add from your own expertise too!
Thanks!
October 6, 2024 at 09:34
I don’t know about that.
October 6, 2024 at 06:11
Iam married to a US citizen should I include that in my lottery entry
October 6, 2024 at 09:34
There is a selection on the entry form for exactly that situation.
October 6, 2024 at 05:29
Can I apply as main applicant and my wife as derivatives As well. My wife as Main applicant and me as derivatives at same time
October 6, 2024 at 09:33
Yes
October 6, 2024 at 02:17
Thank you for your kindness. My boy has a small earring în his left ear. He can t take it out because it s not healed. Îs it a photo problem?
October 6, 2024 at 09:31
If it is very small it probably won’t be a problem.
October 5, 2024 at 23:44
Hi Simon, I hope you are well .I will like to play a dv entry lotto, but my surname is too long with 3 separeted word can I put it all . Please I need your guidance. Thanks
October 6, 2024 at 09:25
Use your judgement on how to represent your name according to International standards.
October 5, 2024 at 19:25
Hi Brit, I have a question about qualifying through work experience. As I mentioned in a comment below, I completed a computer science PhD but have bad highschool marks. While I was completing the PhD (2020 – 2023) I was working as a computer science instructor for the university I was attending (possibly would be O*net code: 25-1021.00). Being a zone 5 occupation, it would appear to meet the bar for work experience, however, would the fact that it was part time (30 weeks per year) negate this?
Any help appreciated, thanks.
October 6, 2024 at 09:22
If it is not a full time position, then it would technically not count, BUT it might help with the overall impression. But have you not had any full time work experience? What job do you do?
October 6, 2024 at 16:57
According to O*Net, my current job is ‘Computer and Information Research Scientists, 15-1221.00’ which is SVP 8.0, but I’ve only been here one year since completing the PhD. The 3.5 years prior to that I was doing the PhD and working part-time as an instructor at the university across variety of AI and algorithm classes. This was a career tranistion for me, so before that was my first career in the medical field (also SVP 8.0) but obviously this is outside the 5 year window as stipulated in the relevant clause in the immigration law for the DV lottery. If the officer gets all hung up about old high school grades I’d be surprised if they were flexible on the 5 year work experience window.
October 5, 2024 at 17:04
Hello Simon,Where do you check your status after Dv visa interview please
October 6, 2024 at 09:18
You would normally check in CEAC at the link below, but DV2025 cases won’t be checkable until January 1.
https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx
October 5, 2024 at 17:00
Good day Simon,
Please in making payment for the GC on the USCIS page, there is a placed for mailing address. Just to confirm, is that address supposed to be that of the host?
October 6, 2024 at 09:17
Yes
October 10, 2024 at 11:36
Hello Simon,
Thanks for your feedback.
After paying for the GC fees on the USCIS platform, there is an information/instruction on the receipt that directs on what to do if you have to change your mailing address. It says you can update the address on the USCIS account created.
I have been able to create the account and updated the address accordingly.
1. Do I create the account for my spouse and child and update the address accordingly? and
2. Do I still need to inform immigration/CBP at POE to update the mailing address eventhough I have update on the USCIS accounts?
October 11, 2024 at 00:05
1. No it would be under one account.
2. Yes.
October 5, 2024 at 16:05
Hi Simon! Hope you are well. I have a couple of questions.
1. I know you mention that case numbers in the lower half of the total (so below 20K out of 40K for example) should be fine and without risk. I was wondering how that holds up this year as you mentioned a couple times how whatever case number you’ve got this year will be comparatively higher than its counterpart the other years. I guess I am trying to gauge how my DV25EU27K (post: Frankfurt) will hold up comparatively to other years. In 20 out of the 25 years the number became current – obviously who knows how this year will go. If you have any thoughts, I’d appreciate it!
2. There has been lots of talk about photos getting disqualified at least in the telegram channel. I plan on entering DV2026 and the photo studio where I got my pictures taken last year always wants to edit out the frizz on top and sides of my hair. I have to repeatedly tell them not to. Would that be a potential cause to disqualify?
Thank your for all your help!
October 5, 2024 at 16:56
1. Numbers are relative to the distribution in that year. We won’t havce the data until January 1. So wait.
2. If it were noticeable, yes
October 6, 2024 at 12:53
Thank you! Do you think EU27K (Frankfurt) is super high this year or manageable high given what we know now? Also when would you expect it to go current in terms of range of months? I really appreciate it.
October 6, 2024 at 14:47
We don’t know the distribution of cases yet – we will find that out on January 1. Wait until then.
October 5, 2024 at 13:39
Dear Mr. Simon
I hope this message finds you well.
I am a 2025 Diversity Visa (DV) winner under case number CN AF20XX. I would like to clarify a few points regarding my application:
Background: I was born in Kenya and raised in Sri Lanka. I have only lived in Kenya for about one to two months as a baby. As a result, I hold Sri Lankan citizenship and do not have Kenyan citizenship.
Documentation: I possess the following documents:
Original Kenyan birth certificate
Transferred birth certificate to Sri Lanka (indicating place of birth as Nairobi, Kenya)
Citizenship act documentation.
Interview Location: My interview has been scheduled in Sri Lanka.
Documentation Requirements: Could you please provide guidance on the specific documents I need to prepare for the interview process?
DV Process Classification: Given my background, should my DV process be considered as a Kenyan or Sri Lankan applicant?
Second Notification Letter (2NL): Based on my case number, when can I expect to receive my second notification letter?
Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your prompt response.

For the purpose of the lottery you are charged to Kenya.
If you have been scheduled, then it is pointless to ask when you will get the 2NL.

No, sir, that’s a mistake. I mentioned that my interview location is Sri Lanka. Do you know when my second interview dates will be? Additionally, I need clarification about the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) for Kenya. Since I stayed there for only one year as a baby, do I still need a PCC? I understand that it is only required for individuals aged 16 and older. Please clarify. Thank you.

I don’t know when you will get the 2NL. Be patient.
As the instructions make clear Police certs are not required for the period before you turned 16. Please read the instructions well.

Hi Brit,
I was selected as DV2025 but I noticed that my entry photo (Submitted on DV2025 Entry) was used on another Visa stamp but it is recent. My question is does it affect with my upcoming interview?
Thank You

No

Thank You so much🙏🏻

Again Brit, The Entry photo used on a Visa (Taiwan) and it stamp on my passport. I concern that Embassy would check and compared my passport with entry photo and disqualified me. Is it going to happen? Have you seen that kind of case before?
Thank you

Well you are supposed to have used a new photo. If the passport photo proves you reused an old photo, that can cause a problem.

So even photo used on another Visa Stamp is the same as DV Lottery Entry photo? It would not affect to my interview or will disqualify me?
Note: I also noticed that my photo is not fully meet the requirements 😭 it has abit bigger head.
Please help answering me

Hi Simon, please could you help me with translating the British education system to the DV lottery form?
I have GCSE’s which according to Google is the equivalent of a US high school diploma… After GCSE’s I went to college and studied a for a BTEC National Diploma in Theatre – which I suppose could come under ‘vocational course’ – so technically that is my highest level of education (I haven’t been to university). But reading the part of the form that said ‘vocation schools are not acceptable’ really put me off selecting that, and I’m not even sure if that’s what my BTEC is. Will it be ok for me to select High School Degree? I just want to make sure that I whatever I put doesn’t look like I lied if I do get selected!
Thanks.
HJ

The required level is successful A level, not GCSE. You can complete GCSEs at agae 16 – and cannot enter University with that level of education. Check the BTEC to see if it is enough to enter a University (UCAS points)

Reply: Thanks for the quick response Simon. I have now checked and yes, the BTEC was A-Level equivalent qualifications/definitely enough UCAS points to enter a university, so I will tick the High School Diploma box. Thanks again for your help.

Hi .. I’ve seen your detailed video on selectees selection , great work by the way !!
It looks like some countries gets zero 0 selectee , although they participate in lottery registration
Provided they are minority,it’s impossible for them to have major DV registration numbers .
This sounds like too much effort for diversity, maybe a point was lost in the process
Or is there like a threshold number for those countries to be selected ?
I’ve noticed like Belize, Sao Tome, Suriname etc all have 0 selectee and some had upto 500+ DV registration

Statistical chances tend to not be accurate on very small slices of a large number. So – nothing surprising.

Hi Brit,
I am an Indian citizen, but I was born in Saudi Arabia as my father was working there at the time. I am married and would like to know if it’s possible for us to submit two separate entries: one for myself, claiming eligibility based on my birth country, and another for my wife, using my country of birth to claim eligibility for her entry.
Thank you for your guidance.

can you change your address after admitting into a state and relocating to another state without receiving the green-card yet? Can we do change the USPS as well while I have not received the GC in the host address and wanna relocate to another state?
Thanks
