The news is that some 2NLs have been sent for Algiers US Embassy – watch the video below where I discuss what that means in the first few mintes.

Hi Simon,
we have successfully entered the US to activate our visa. According to USPS our green cards were delivered but actually they were not. Our friend who was the receiver went to the post office that she didn’t get those mails, post officer went with her to check some post boxes but they didn’t find it.
We have sent a mail searching request and claim to the customer service but their answer was that the mails were delivered.
What can we do now? Replacing GC would cost 445USD per person which is ridiculously expensive considering that we had nothing to do with this mistake.
Thank you!
April 27, 2021 at 18:57
It sounds like the address for your friend was a PO Box, not a real street address. They will not deliver some types of mail top PO Boxes, so unfortunately that is your mistake. You can ask them to resend, and perhaps they will do so without the fee, but make sure the address is a real address.

Hi Brit.
Thanks for the great job you are doing. My brother is a 2021 DV winner from Africa with CN 42K. Up to now, he is not received email for support documents from KCC. Should he needs to wait for the next visa bulletin or what are your advise?
Thank you

I forgot to write that I’m case number OC5** (this is for the NZ embassy comment I left earlier)
March 17, 2021 at 06:23
Hi all! Heads up for New Zealand 2021 cases, I hadn’t heard anything from KCC although my case was “current” so I reached out to the Auckland embassy directly and they said I was scheduled for April 12th!!!! So I’m working directly with the embassy to sort out the documents I need as I never received a 2NL or any instructions from KCC. I asked the embassy to reschedule because I need a new police report (the one I initially submitted to KCC is now older than 6months) and the embassy said that if you reschedule you may lose your chance to immigrate, so I’m hoping I can gather everything for my interview so I don’t have to reschedule… but they haven’t given me much time at all to work with!!!! When I asked what the reschedule date looks like they said “sorry can’t predict that, it changes everyday”.
It’s good to know they’ll forgive me for doing my medical after the interview because that’s what I plan to do!
While I’m here – Britt thank you so much for all your help. You are the CNN of DV Lottery updates haha, it’s super helpful! Happy to answer any questions about my experience in case it helps other people 🙂
March 18, 2021 at 03:08
Don’t reschedule at all, certainly not for the police cert. They accept the police cert up to 12 months old.
March 18, 2021 at 03:09
By the way, it sounds like you missed your 2NL email. Go to the ESC page and see if your interview schedule is there.
March 11, 2021 at 11:09
What about Sri lanka?
March 5, 2021 at 20:05
Hi brit,Marrying before dv interview and marrying after entering USA and take a petition which is much easier?
March 6, 2021 at 03:34
No contest. Before DV interview – as early as possible.
March 5, 2021 at 17:39
Hi Simon, I have contacted the embassy in London and they came back with a pretty generic response that due to the Proclamation they have reduced the issuance of immigrant visas and therefore cannot give timescales as to when they will start working on DV cases. I have now contacted KCC too pushing for my interview to be scheduled as I have a very low EU number. Is there anything else you could suggest for the time being?
Charles mentioned that him and Greg might be doing a new lawsuit specifically for the banned countries, however details haven’t been released yet.
Thanks for your help ?
March 5, 2021 at 18:54
I suggest you wait a little.
March 5, 2021 at 16:07
Hello,
I hope you are well and safe. Thank you for all of your videos and glad to see there is great news on 2021 visas. 🙂 Finally some good news!
I am a DV2021 winner and am case number 2021EU8***, I have become current as of this Month. I was requested to send my documents back in September, which I promptly submitted and I followed the instructions very carefully (+ verified as well with your latest video instructions on how to set them up and submit). I triple checked everything and all the documents I sent are definitely correct. However I have yet to receive any feedback from KCC on their need for further documents or notifying me I am ready to be scheduled.
I have followed up multiple times with KCC on the KCCDV@*****.*** email address and always receive the same standard reply (see below). Is there any other way to get an actual status update on my document processing status? I am growing concerned that there is no feedback at all on my documents, yet my case has become current already and I noticed EU cases with a higher number than me have already received their “ready to be scheduled” email. I did receive confirmation that my DS-260 has been processed.
Should I try to reach out to the same email address as where I submitted my documents to (KCCDVD********@*****.***)? Event hough they advise not to, however this might be my only way to get directly in touch with them and receive an actual status update of my documents?
Please let me know what you think would be the best approach in this case?
Thank you!!
“Thank you for your inquiry.
Your DS-260 has been processed. You should have received, or will soon receive, an email from the Kentucky Consular Center giving you instructions to complete in order for your case to continue processing. Please follow the instructions in the email. Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing. Please refer to the visa bulletin at travel.state.gov to locate the current numbers being processed. This bulletin is updated after the 15th day of each month. Once an interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via email to check dvlottery.state.gov.
After sending documents to KCCDVD********@*****.***, you will receive an automatic reply to your email. If there are no attachments, the auto reply explains there are no documents attached to the email. If there are attachments, the auto reply explains we received your email and are currently processing your documents. Please allow time for processing of your documents. Documents are processed in numerical order, based on lottery rank number. Once KCC has processed your documents, we will let you know if anything is missing or if we have received everything needed.”

Only the normal email address will respond.

Hi Brit, Thanks always for sharing the info. Japan embassy has updated their website saying that they are open for all immigrant visa! –“As of February 24, 2021, the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo has resumed routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa services for all visa categories except B visas. ” Great news for DV2021.
March 5, 2021 at 18:39
Yes that’s good.
March 5, 2021 at 14:03
Dear Mr. Bithsimon,
I was watching you on the video. I stand to be corrected, Watching your video, I overhead you saying that some interviews will be done in this month March?
Also, that KCC will bend some of her rules. Please clarify.
Thanks
March 5, 2021 at 18:38
Yes – Algeria has accepted some interviews in March. Some other embassies are now starting to schedule interviews in April.
March 5, 2021 at 09:09
Hi Brit. Thanks for the great job you are doing. I am a 2021 DV winner from Africa with CN 25K. Up to now, I have not received email for support documents from KCC. Should I need to wait for the next visa bulletin or what are your advise?Thank you

March 5, 2021 at 17:09
1. Yes, wait and see.
2. I have articles and videos about that already. Read the FAQ. Basically, if you plan to marry it is far easier to marry before the DV interview.
March 5, 2021 at 17:19
Hi Nany,
Great to hear you have confirmation on your documents. How long did it take to receive this confirmation? I have submitted my documents in September and have yet to receive a confirmation or ready to schedule email. Did you follow up with KCC on the status of your documents? Thank you!
March 5, 2021 at 01:35
Hi. Mr Brit i have read and watched your video on document submission but still need clarity on the ff:
1. So i am married with 2 kids thus 4 applicant s hence 4 birthcerts. If i want to group all birthcerts separately. All passports separately etc as different attachements, whose name will be in the naming convention. Eg. If I the principal applicant is Brit Simon and my wife Any Simon and my 2 kids Ayan and Dave Simon. How will i name the 4 sets of birthcerts for example as 1 attachment. Will it be
A. I the principal applicants name only eg.
2021AF00012XXX_Brit_Simon_birthcerts.pdf
Or
B. 2021AF00012xxx_All_Birthcerts. Pdf
Or How is the best way.
Thank you
March 5, 2021 at 17:06

March 4, 2021 at 22:34
How do you find the information on your embassy? You speak about knowing what kind of action each embassy is taking, mine is Sydney and I’m just curious whether they’ve been proactive/open much! Seems hard to find that info! You were talking about different embassies and how helpful they’ve been so am just curious. Many Thanks!
March 5, 2021 at 16:58
You just ask them. Sydney are pretty good at answering questions.
March 4, 2021 at 21:09
Dear Mr. BritSimon, Thank you for sharing such a vital news, i am very pleased and excited.
Q. How can I find some one in USA to fill out the I-134 form for me, is there any office in USA to provide such services?
I have asked many people in USA to fill out I-134 form for me, they said we are not allowed because we receive social walfare from government.
As well they said US Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan never asking about sponsership form. What do you know about afghanistan embassy procidures Sir? I mean is it true afghanistan embassy do not ask about sponsership form?
Thanks
March 4, 2021 at 21:52
There is not some office to get that completed. The idea is that this is someone in the USA that will help you, financially, and to do that they have to be willing, and able to do so.
I don’t know whether is will be expected in your case. You can try without it, but of course, it will create a delay if they want it and you don’t have it.
March 5, 2021 at 05:43
Thanks for your comprehencive reply dear Mr. BritSimon, i will try to find someone.
March 4, 2021 at 22:05
Hello Brit my documents sent I do not have any sponsorship is it necessary? If I have already sent the documents and I get a sponsorship, should I send it or do I only bring it on the day of the interview?
March 5, 2021 at 16:57
You take it to the interview, yes.
March 4, 2021 at 19:46

March 4, 2021 at 19:07
Hi Brit,
Thank you for your great video today. A real DV geek!
Just let me know this, I am sure I have sent all the required documents and KCC acknowledged receipt last year September.
I am AF5*** and yet I have not received “ready for scheduling” email. I have not been successful in reaching KCC despite trying numerous times.
Will this delay my prospects of receiving 2NL?
March 4, 2021 at 18:18
Finally DV2021 has begun!!!!
😀
March 4, 2021 at 22:47
Simon crees que este año Sur America sea actual.
March 5, 2021 at 16:59
I have said that (given enough time) SA would be the most likely region to go current in 2021 – partly because of the difficulties facing Cuban and Venezuelan selectees – with Peru being an unknown factor.
March 4, 2021 at 18:04
You mention there is a cap for each country, does that mean there are always X number of visas reserved to each country whether it’s CP or AOS? I am AOS but I probably won’t become current for three more months if the current trend continues, I’m from EU region, are there any chances there won’t be visas available by the time I get my interview?
March 4, 2021 at 18:56
There are not visas reserved for ANY country. A cap is not an allocation, it’s a cap.
There is always a chance that visas run out – but very unlikely this year.
March 5, 2021 at 04:59
So if I were to file AOS in mid May-ish, with a CN that’s current in February (for certain reasons I can’t file until then); will I still receive a visa?
Thank you!
March 5, 2021 at 17:10
That is enough time.
March 4, 2021 at 18:01
your website is now often “white on white” on prime site – not a cache issue but perhaps setup of dns redirect on your side and remote-site mirror is not up to date
March 4, 2021 at 18:55
Not sure why some people are having problems.
March 5, 2021 at 21:53
Hi Brit, Im 2021AF50xxx and didn’t get the ( Send your documents Email ) ..
What shall I do ?
March 6, 2021 at 04:56
Be more patient.
March 4, 2021 at 17:50
Is Iran under a 14 day ban too? Although the Muslim ban is gone would they be denied interviews just like in the Schengen countries and South Africa?
March 4, 2021 at 17:41
Hi Simon,
What if we get scheduled for interview very early and we are not able to prepare sponsor documents soon enough.
March 4, 2021 at 18:53
Do your best. If there are documents missing at the interview they will put you on AP while you provide the missing documents.
March 4, 2021 at 17:33
I hope it is a good news Brit!
March 4, 2021 at 17:13
