BritSimonSays.com annual statistics
I started this blog in late 2014, as I saw a need to provide good information to DV lottery winners and hopefuls! I hope the information and advice has helped many people – but I can’t be certain of the numbers who have been approved instead of refused thanks to my advice, but I know there are some…
As 2015 draws to the end I have received a report on the activity on my blog which shows I have had over 1 million visits to the site this year, from 207 countries! I have answered thousands of questions on the blog, through DV forums and Facebook. Many people have taken the time to say thanks, and some have very kindly shown their support by leaving a message or giving a donation to the Treehouse Project for my daughter. I really appreciate that – and would encourage you to do the same if I have helped you.
In 2016, I will continue to help to the best of my ability. I am waiting for the CEAC data to be published, and once that is available I will provide guidance about what that means. Then in May a new batch of winners will need help. I live in California myself, my Green Card gained through this program, and I am honored to help others achieve this wonderful dream….
Happy New Year to you all – I wish you all success, health and happiness.

misunderstanding between us. and we got marriage living as happy

Hi Brit
Before I came to know of your blog and immigration.com forum, I had absolutely zero knowledge of how DV works. I would have surely failed in my DV application if not for you. I now have a DV visa for my family and making a move to USA in April. All because of you

Hi Simon, thank you very much for your support to millions applicants… Happy New year! We have been getting lot of information since we got selected for DV 2016 and as our case numbers was low, the process was succesfully quick through documentation, visas interview and travel to the USA. We arrived in the USA on last Tuesday. However, we lost the handsheet where our DOS numbers were written… So we cannot be able to pay our green cards without these numbers… Please tell me which sources where we can we get these numbers?
January 1, 2016 at 12:05 am
Congratulations, and welcome to the USA. For your numbers, I suppose the best idea is to contact USCIS, either by phone or at the local office.
January 1, 2016 at 8:08 am

Hi Simon, happy new year. Have a great time ahead. Thanks a lot for your help. My visa was approved on 21 Dec. I am waiting for my passports for the time being. I am just wondering if I would be able to check my visa status online. Hould could I able to find immigrant visa case number? Your answes would be great help
January 1, 2016 at 7:17 pm
You can’t get much more information at this point – just wait for your passports.
January 1, 2016 at 3:42 pm
Whilst applying for the 2017 DV lottery (stupidly chose the last hour of last day to do it), I realised after the fact that one of the children’s photos was in black and white (it was surprisingly accepted since I got the application in) ! Will the folks at KCC look through all photos manually before potential candidates are picked with randomizer or do I have some hope of still be amongst those forms where winners are picked? Thanks.
January 1, 2016 at 4:45 pm
That won’t cause a problem…
January 1, 2016 at 4:11 pm

You will need to discuss that with the CO. In theory you can get your visa before her.
January 1, 2016 at 7:39 pm
Thanks, what can i say for the co and what u mean in theory
January 1, 2016 at 8:39 pm
Use your words….
“in theory” meaning that is technically possible, but up to the CO.

January 1, 2016 at 9:53 pm
