I am taking a short trip, so I won’t have access to my PCs for a week, so I thought I would extract a CEAC file to keep you all going!
As you can see from the file, there have been a lot of issuances in the last few days. This is obviously some catching up from the period of time where interviews were happening but cases not being updated in CEAC. I expect the rapid increase to continue for the remainder of the month.
AF region has had the largest increase since the end of last month. I would not be surprised to see AF reach 14000 by the end of this month. Given the numbers released, that suggests they will be able to get close to or even meet the regional quota for AF, since I expect them to issue 3000 visas each month for August and September.
We can also see that EU region is still moving fast. At almost 14000, they are already well on track to hit the targets in the remaining weeks. Again, my expectation would be for EU to hit 15500 by the end of July.
AS is not so solid. The recent VB was most obviously “odd” for AS region. They will need to see a sharp increase in issued numbers from Iranian AP, otherwise the region may not reach its quota.

It’s Warsaw, and the date was determined by the CO during the interview. It’s not really an AP, it’s rather a wait time, I can tell you all the details later when everything’s over, if you like.

Some embassies ask for documents to be submitted before the interview date – most don’t ask that. Wait for instructions from your embassy and if none come, then take the documents to the interview.

Just out of curiosity – how long does it actually take for the script to get all the entries out of the system? Does the server feel OK with so many requests from one IP?

It takes a few hours – each region is run individually then I do a little work to present the data in Excel sheets and of course write the blog post. So – the whole process takes about 4 to 6 hours.
They have made changes in the past, perhaps to confuse scripts, but I get <1 second responses with few issues.

Clearing AP cases in EU will have a tough time getting visas allocated. EU is moving fast and they really pushed the boat out to get to 43050. So – you will have a nervous wait…

If you qualify on education grounds, they will not check the detail about work experience. But be sure you have proved your education based on elementary and secondary education.

In some embassies that can be a problem. In order to have a chance at passing your interview you must correct that on the DS260.

The CO can make the decision – but obviously they will need some evidence to show why they approved or rejected a particular case.

Well I assume they would have asked you to correct the education history. Either way – you cannot correct the DS260 at this point – so simply comply with the instructions from the embassy.

Just make sure the information is the best that you can remember. You are unlikely to be disqualified for a minor mistake in a date you finished high school or something similar, but lots of errors can make the CO suspicious that you are hiding something – so do the best you can.

No you cannot unlock after the 2NL. Take the new PP to the interview along with any documentation about the loss of the old one.

What Rabica trying to ask is whether KCC may revise the cut off number when releasing September VB, which will contains September and October. What I understand from the question posed, is whether KCC can make September cut of number different from the one released on August, this after realizing that the people which were expected on August did not fill the quota.
Is that possible of that tuning of VB number?

Yes I understood the point of the question – hence my answer. They won’t do that. They won’t know about the shortfall from August until the end of August and it is too late by that time to make the adjustments. Further, they will have moved on to DV2016 scheduling by then.
I understand the desire to want this to be true – but it is best to “move on”.

The process for adding a spouse to the DV application is fast. The other way (sponsoring him after you have your Green Card) takes about 2 years.

3. You pay the fee of $330 at the embassy on the day of interview and the fee for the Green Card itself ($165) is paid online before or after you travel to the USA.

No ikt is not compulsory for everyone – but everyone could be asked how they will avoid becoming a public charge.
If you decide to use one, the I-134 is the only form to be used in a DV case. More info at the link below.

I’m sorry you did not get through – but around 3500 Nepalis will have got their Green Cards this year – so Nepal were limited because of their own success. So – that is not unfair to Nepalis – but it is hard luck for you.

Some embassies would see that as more serious than others. It MUST be accurate in the DS260, and if I were you I would list the other version as an alias.

The VB always contains two months. The 2NLs are sent about 2 weeks after the VB is published to people made current by the number for the later month only (section C)

I have two kids both are US citizens. I never filled DS 260 for them. I remember contacting Kentucky center and they told me that I don’t need to fill out their applications. Now I logged into my DS 260 and found that a summary that states” in order to process your application each applicant must complete an application” and they listed the applications of me and my husband as completed and one of my sons’ application as not started. When I check My case status it says at NVC and please follow the instructions that we sent to you. By the way, I’m adjusting status.

Sue, I am a bit surprised at your question. It makes me think you don’t understand the AoS process. You could ALREADY have filed your I-485 based on the early submission memo. Have you read the spreadsheet about the process (at the link below). Do you know what you need to do to process your case?

I did submit my application, but other applicants who are adjusting status keep telling me things that I never found on the spreadsheet you indicated. I used it as guide and I really appreciate your efforts. I sent my paper work to Chicago lockbox. I have not heardback from them yet.
I didn’t apply for work authorization as in the form you mentioned the expert recommended that those who will be current in the last month had better not doing that as it may delay the process.
