More odd happenings.
The normal behavior for the release of the 2NLs is that the 2NLs are sent and CEAC is dated later – often within an hour or so of the 2NLs being sent. This month, the 2NL emails have not yet been sent, but the CEAC system is showing many cases with “in Transit” which is how the cases appear before the embassy marks the case as received.
So – if you are waiting for your 2NL, you might find some comfort by checking the CEAC data to see if you case is “in Transit”.
The technical problems appear to be not yet completely fixed, but some embassies have been “reconnected – meaning they are getting closer to fixing the entire system.

I called kcc the nice lady on phone told me my interview will be 21 August but when I asked about the 2nl she says by the end of the month

The data on 24/06/2015 does not reflect the real situation with August interviews, unfortunately…
WRW is sleeping on 37 486. My CN is still AT NVC (37***, ds 16/12/2014). I called KCC again on wednesday: “the interview wll definintely be in August, everything is OK with your forms, but the date is scheduling and will be scheduled in a few days”
And MOS interviews are not updated at all (the last scheduled case is 35 671 – the july cut-off)…

DS260 processing for AoS cases is very fast – a couple of weeks. Your number is announced as being current. Have you submitted your I485 yet (early filing)?

I just called KCC and they told me that my interview will be in september (EU37*** WRW).
Last wednesday they told me it will definitely be in august.
I asked whether the delay is caused by our late ds-260 submission (dec.2014) and the operator said no, that is because of their internal processes: too many forms, a lot of current cases etc… I asked what has changed from the last week and she said nothing has changed and she doesn’t really know why that operator said it.

But why don’t they schedule them numerically? Why some embassies have got all their current cases proceeded, while the other don’t? The embassies are busy in different way, OK send me to another embassy!
Is it honest that the CN higherthan mine is already ready just because interview is in ATA, not in WRW, for example? And all the ATA cases will get their interview but the lower CNs in WRW won’t and even may not get their visas because of its limited number, taken by higher CNs… I can’t understand the logic and I don’t believe it’s fair.

How could they possibly enforce numeric order across all the embassies. Once cases are current, they schedule them according to the availability at the embassy. That’s it. There is no point worrying about it. Just relax and be patient.

If you have an early August interview – your notice could be only 4 or 5 weeks – but it should be plenty of time….

You have to choose a physician as stated by the embassy. The DV fee is paid at the embassy on the day of interview.
