I have a question and I need you answer if you do not mind!
My case NO is 2016AF00036***.
Based on your chart for predicting the interviews, I find that I might be interviewed in May, Jun, or July. So the question here is,
My passport will be expired in November 2016. Do I have to renew it now and unlock the DS260 to update it or just renew it and fix the expiration date on the interview day.
Note: My government will not renew the passport until I have six months remaining to be expired.

You can renew later and take both old and new to the interview. If timing allows, unlock the DS260, if not, don’t worry.

If you marry later you will sponsor her. That is a very long and expensive process. It is better to marry before the interview.

They started very fast due to the small number of DS260s processed. They speed will increase somewhat. However, it will be a long time before they get to your number as it is near the highest numbers.

i filled my dv 2016 and my CN is AF00052XXX , am in Kenya
1.is there chances of us getting visa?When can we go for interview?approximately….
2.i filled my online forms for the my 2 kids,but dint include their passports as i am yet to apply for them…is there a problem?but i and my hubby we included our passport details on the online forms.
3. I used an old passport photo when applying for the dv ….can this bring us problems?

1. There is a chance (some risk) but it would be late in the process, probably September 2016.
2. Not a problem. When you get the passports unlock and update the DS260.
3. It isn’t normally a problem as long as the photo isn’t obviously old.
