This is a quick analysis video of the CEAC data that was recently scraped. I’m disappointed with the number of 2NLs that were sent. I am certain this year will be underfilled, but also I am convinced there are people who are expecting or want interviews but will miss out because of the new document procedure. That is very unfortunate.
Anyway – watch the video below, and remember to subscibe to my YouTube channel!

July 18, 2019 at 19:53
Hi, Brit! Thank you for the effort you put in helping people. No one else does it as much as you do. My CN is eu291xx. I have submitted my ds260 in late june of 2018 and sent the doc scans on the 3rd of May. On the 8th of June i got the message that all docs and ds260 are allright. Have called to KCC few times, they say that the status is ready and it will be clear in few weeks. But as a GURU of the green card process i will be greatful to you for your thoughts about chances. How do you think how much chances do i have to be scheduled? Low, medium, high? Thank you!
July 18, 2019 at 22:44
If they are satisfied with your documents you have a good chance.
July 18, 2019 at 22:56
Thank you, Sir!
July 15, 2019 at 11:35
Hello britSimon, i got dv2019 , my CN is 21000. bet til not arrived respons to interview . i have no idea why is case of mated it. what you think so? may be my sponser is 2year only lived in USA.
July 16, 2019 at 00:35
Have you sent documents? If so, when? Have you asked KCC if they are satisfied?
July 13, 2019 at 07:53
Hi Brit.
I checked in CEAC data and it says status: NVC. so how long does they take to process.
Do i need to send the application fee so that NVC can process first.
July 13, 2019 at 07:54
sorry my case no is 2019AS61##
July 13, 2019 at 17:00
Ignore the text about NVC.
Have you submitted DS260 and documents?
July 14, 2019 at 04:32
Yes i have submitted both D260 and all required documents. I received an email from KCC that i have submitted complete Ds260 and correct documents. But the problem is i have sent documents very late that was on 29 June. And my case number is 2019AS61##. So what is next process.
July 14, 2019 at 04:51
Now you just wait to see if you made it in the September interviews.
July 12, 2019 at 19:43
Hello Brit. My friend missed her interview appointment in April and she is now looking for another interview date. So, if she can’t be scheduled until the end of the second half July, does it mean she lost her chance already? No possibilities of being scheduled in August for Sept interview?
July 14, 2019 at 06:22
Oh.. brit. U have nothing to say about the above Q?
July 14, 2019 at 15:01
I missed that. It wil be up to the embassy, not to do with KCC. She must communicate with the embassy.
July 16, 2019 at 20:53
Thank you.
You are always supportive.
July 12, 2019 at 11:58
Hi Brit
I ask my question yesterday the 11 2019 but I don’t understand ur answer, you said (Region year) my question is I send my document to kccducument since june 2019
Up now I don’t see my record, my case number is 31xxx ,can I have chance for September interview, that make me worry, thank u
July 12, 2019 at 14:53
Your number is meaningless without the year and region. Think.
July 12, 2019 at 05:34
hello brit thanks a lot for your effort on assisting people to understand the lottery issue,my question is that,
1. am a police officer by profession in my country and i included this in my d260 because as you advise you always say that we say the truth in the form, but recently someone told me police officers are not always easily approved unless you resign and produce clearance letter from you country, how true is this or have you heard such a case in you experience
2 am worried because most likely i might be booked for interview on september and incase am put in ap for the same reason i might miss the chance because getting clearence as a police offficer in our country is a long proccess and can take even a year, advice on this please if you do have any hint.thanks in advance and be blessed for your work.case no 2019AF43XXX
July 12, 2019 at 06:03
1. Nonsense.
2. That is the same idiotic nonsense.
July 12, 2019 at 11:32
so need not to worry, but prepare myself schologicaly incase i get the interview.thanks
July 12, 2019 at 11:34
need not to worry about the nonsense.thanks for the answer it relieve me of the worries

Potential DV 2020 Winner
September interview, August visa bulletin has just be released.
There are low selection rates, with Democratic Republic of Congo and Egypt Leading in the 4000 and 5000 ranges.
Liberia my country has a very low selection rate.

July 9, 2019 at 22:27
Hi brit,
Had a question…I completed all the units in my high school curriculum…bt failed one …due to which they dont want to write complete …but I am passing the overall course …I am currently on AP …do you think my Visa can still be issued on the bases that I am passing the course overall??
July 10, 2019 at 00:19
I can’t predict the outcome – you AP could also be for other things….
July 9, 2019 at 14:51
Hi sir, I have summited my DS260 since August 13 2018, and received email from kcc July 03 2019 telling me that their completed processing my DS260 in order to continued I have to summit the electronic copy of all documents, and I did summit it quick. My question is, is that mean I will be part of the process? Because so am so worry.
July 9, 2019 at 23:18
I keep answering you about this. You have to be patient – wait and see.
July 9, 2019 at 07:50
Hullo Brit
some cases like 46k have ready as a case code when you check on the CEAC data.
1. How come we in a range of 45k ours are still at nvc yet we have ready for scheduling email
2. Should we expect 2nls in mid July for the first batch.
July 9, 2019 at 23:06
1. That is normal.
2. No – anytime in the second half of July.
July 8, 2019 at 15:23
Hi brit , plz i have a lack of sight of my right eye, I can not read the alphabet with it during the medical visit, I hope that it will not be a problem for me, note: I see 10/10 with the left eye and i can read the alphabet with it . thanks
July 8, 2019 at 23:39
That should not be a concern.
July 8, 2019 at 15:05
HELLO BRIT!!@I see a great deal of delay in solving AP issues … Can you tell us in which months can these issues be solved in EU region???
July 8, 2019 at 23:39
What delay? What we are seeing for AP is normal.
July 9, 2019 at 14:00
I look at many issues that have passed AP a couple of months ago and still do not finish verifying …. I am very stressed because I have an interview on August 19 and I’m afraid? Can you give your opinion please…Thank Brit
July 9, 2019 at 23:14
My opinion is that there is no point in worrying when you haven’t even had your interview yet.
July 8, 2019 at 12:34
Thanks for the analysis Simon!
July 8, 2019 at 12:14
Hi Simon
I just received an email from KCC saying they have received complete and valid documents. Further it says
“Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing”
So does it mean they have completed my document processing?
Do yo think I might miss an opportunity this year ??
CN : 2019AS216##
July 8, 2019 at 23:36
I don’t know. You have to wait and see.
July 8, 2019 at 11:20
Good Morning Britt,
I am from Liberia, I will like to know if anyone won from Liberia DV 2020? I did a survey on one had won from Liberia 2020. Please advice if you know of such.
July 8, 2019 at 23:33
In a few days we will have the selectees per country info.
July 9, 2019 at 01:37
DV 2020 Lottery
Myself am awaiting the final selectee total counts.
When is published I will recheck my entry.
From Liberia, there are people who won. Few colleagues from church and Neighbors.
But the sad news is they are Unprepared and not really interested of taking the opportunity.
This world is not fair though
July 8, 2019 at 10:42
Thank you I was waiting for it
Is it possible for people who received ‘ready for schedule’ letter to miss an opportunity this year? Or does it somehow depends on the date of this letter?
I received it at 14th of June and a bit worry.
July 8, 2019 at 23:33
It should be OK, but I cannot be certain of course.
July 8, 2019 at 08:52
Secondly I wanted how cam some higher cases are ready for interview e.g AF47k (AUGUST INTERVIEW) & cases of 45k aren’t yet ready yet we have the ready for scheduling
Are we going to be pushed to September interviews the remaining cases
July 8, 2019 at 23:30
Cases that had sent their documents sooner got ready first. Normal.
July 8, 2019 at 05:52
Hi, britso. Thanx for the great work u r doing- updating us in every step made.in saying maybe for the cases processed later June means u r not sure whether we will make it?pliz make us clear.
July 8, 2019 at 20:58
Please remember this is the first year the new document procedure has been in place – so I am not certain what will be the final date – but I EXPECT any case ready for scheduling in June should be OK, and I hope that continues for some time in July too.
July 8, 2019 at 03:52
Hullo Brit
Early June DS 260 processed.
June 24 ready for scheduling.
Do we have chance for getting 2nl this month for the Sept interviews
July 8, 2019 at 04:26
Maybe.
July 8, 2019 at 02:12
Sir, My case was AP since 2019 June 11. This how effect my case.
July 8, 2019 at 04:25
This does not affect your case.
July 8, 2019 at 07:21
Thank you sir
July 8, 2019 at 01:45
Hi Brit .Once again thank you for your advice regarding the case of my new born baby.My interview is already scheduled in end August.I contacted the embassy and they told me to come with the passport of the baby once it’s issued.i notified KCC and they told me that my DS260 is already closed and no way to unlock it and all futur cases related to me must be addressed to the embassy.Would be the baby issued a visa?
One more concern, i just discovered now while checking the ceac file that I mentioned on the DS260 the date of the church wedding and the celebration of the wedding which was the 14OCT instead of the civil date at the mayor which was the 13OCT. Is it a major issue that will cause me a denial of a visa?I never verified my DS closely since it was submitted last year. bsce all my infos are true.
Lastly how do you check the NVC status.?
Please advice kindly as usual.
GOD bless you and reward you abundantly for the immense and free help you provide to many people.
July 8, 2019 at 04:25
Please number questions.
Now that you are scheduled all your processing is with the embassy – so make sure they know the baby is coming – and ask them if they can allow you to complete a DS260 for the baby. You will need the passport, birth cert and medical for the baby.
Date thing is trivial.
You DON’T check the NVC status.
July 8, 2019 at 06:27
Well noted Brit for next time.
Please can you further explain when you say :Date thing is trivial?
I didn’t understand what it’s really mean?
Thank you!
GOD bless you
July 8, 2019 at 20:59
It means forget about it.
July 8, 2019 at 00:14
what do you think brit !will this continue also in dv2020 ,low issuance ?if it so i think dv2020 will go current.
July 8, 2019 at 04:18
Please think. How can you make such a general statement without knowing how many selectees there are. YOU CAN’T.
Wait.
July 7, 2019 at 23:23
I apologize if it was said in the video, I must have missed it, but will there be a second draw? Around what time is that usually? Out of curiosity, were there many years that were this under filled? What happened at those times, did all 50 k visas still get distributed or was it much less?
Thanks for all of your work Simon, as always 🙂
July 8, 2019 at 04:21
This video concerned DV2019 – so surely you can’t be asking if there will be a second draw for DV2019? Of course not – there is NO TIME.
Yes there have been years where they underfilled…
July 8, 2019 at 14:41
yes, I was asking about 2019, sorry simon 🙂 I guess my poor brain was so stuck on the sheer number of wasted green cards that it completely disregarded the fact we’re nearing the end of dv2019 and kept coming up with a new draw. Honestly it so shocking to me that a year can be this under filled, I never witnessed it before. Between the new procedure and the new passport requirement I wonder how few visas will be issued until people catch up 😐
July 7, 2019 at 23:13
Your video on you tube help me for the first time to understand visas issued each month. KCC must take your time in charge the whole time ? you are helping them.
One thing I have to add and excuse me le it hurts you. You always encourage people to say truth and regarding to my religion de have been always adviced to say truth whatever it costs.
Thanks for all and sorry
July 8, 2019 at 04:20
I don’t understand what part of that was something that might have hurt me.
July 7, 2019 at 22:18
Hi Brit! I read your last article about 2LNs of this year 2019 but i didn’t understand if these results mean something also for 2020 lottery.
I have been selected for 2020 with number Eu27XXX
July 7, 2019 at 23:13
No this does NOT impact DV2020.
July 7, 2019 at 22:02
Thanks for the video, patiently waiting for 2NL to come out .
July 7, 2019 at 21:25
Thank you for this fruitful video.
one question to ask, having the number of visa under filled, will you suspect that it will be CURRENT again this month.
my cousin received his ready for schedule email early June and his number is in the later part of AF 467**, and we are worried that he will not get a chance.
Any hopes for being current and for receiving his 2NL?
July 7, 2019 at 21:44
No reason for them to regress the number – in other words it will stay current. He should get his 2NL this month.
July 7, 2019 at 22:26
thank you very much….this is indeed a great news
July 7, 2019 at 21:06
Hi Brit,
How are you, i’m now in Austin, TX and having a wonderful time. And here i’m onto the next challenge which is opening up a bank account.
We have a lot of money to deposit, i’m talking about 1.2 million dollars in multiple bank accounts. Will this money be taxed or what? Because i won’t be happy about my grandfathers inheritance being taken away.
July 7, 2019 at 21:57
Tax is paid on income, not savings. To illustrate, if you make interest on your savings, that interest is income, and that is taxed.
July 9, 2019 at 14:21
I think there is no income tax in the state of Texas
July 9, 2019 at 23:15
@DVE – but there is Federal tax.
July 7, 2019 at 20:44
Thanks
July 7, 2019 at 20:38
Hello, thanks for this video.
Is it possible for people who received ‘ready for schedule’ letter to miss an opportunity this year? Or does it somehow depends on the date of this letter?
I received it at late of June and a bit worry.
Thanks
July 7, 2019 at 20:44
Thanks
July 7, 2019 at 22:00
It is possible if an embassy is unable to accommodate all interviews – but that is unlikely.
July 7, 2019 at 20:13
Thanks Brit for information
