The appeals court has denied the petition for an en banc review, so the DV2020/DV2021 appeal is now over. It’s a sad end to the process, but at least people can now process this news and find a way to emotionally move on.
Many thanks to the many fine lawyers that gave it their best shot and so very nearly got the DV selectees the justice they sought.

Hey BritSimon, I was one of the winners of the DV2020 who was not able to get an interview (basically one of the denied applications), I have been applying for the lottery ever since and do not get selected. Is there an algorithm keeping an eye on me or I can keep trying my luck? What do you suggest?

There is no algorithm against you. The reality is that chances of selection are very low, about 1 in 100 years.

Continue to vote Democrats. USCIS gets now more additional paid holidays than ever. Mayorkas spent 2.6 bln dollars of paid additional holidays but still theg are backlogged the worst. Mayorkas doesn’t have money to secure southern border though. And the delays are the worst for all categories of visas ar USCIS .

Sad, frustrating but not the end of the world as longer as am still alive.
My wife we attend DV2012 but our case remains administrative processing(221) until end of the FY.
I was sad at beginning but finally realize it is an experience and nowadays if we get chance to win and get visa I won’t waiste time like friends those went since that year.
We thank you for your time to assist people without paying one cent. I learnt a lot here

Hello Simon, My case number is 2024AF49****, it was true that I did not show up for the interview on June 12 as I have not received any email due to presenting the wrong email adress on the ds-260 form. I reached out to Nairobi embassy and they sent me the 2NL but I had to reschedule.
When I tried it reads the ‘System is busy’. I emailed the embassy to help me with this issue.
What do you think of this?!

I am a Cuban dv2020 winner. I am already in the United States, not because of dv but because I entered through the border, but I was on the lookout because I left several dv friends waiting for this answer and unfortunately unfavorable, but life goes on, you have to get up and follow the path of life.
