Hello Simon , Well the thing is on the first September i emailed KCC about my case status you know about interview , and they emailed me back saying my case is ready to be scheduled which does not make sense do you think its normal?
September 24, 2024 at 08:39
That is their standard reply. It does not mean your DV2024 case will be scheduled. As I have already told you some weeks ago, it is over for you. I’m sorry.
September 23, 2024 at 12:51

September 22, 2024 at 05:19
Hey Mr. BritSimon
My name is Mohammed Kamara
I am a DV 2024 winner, I had my interview on July 17, but up to now my case status is still Ready. Just this gone September 11, it was check but still Ready.
Do I still have the chance
September 22, 2024 at 09:55
Maybe.
September 21, 2024 at 04:09
Dear Simon,
Our situation is awful.. we are from Russia and had an interview on 20 September in Warsaw. There was 5 people (3 kids) there. The visa officer approved the visas for mom and 3 children, but sent Dad to the administrative process (he is a plant engineer, producing polymers). I sent all the necessary documents (CV+diploma) to the embassy immediately after the interview. Status is still “refused”. Do you think Dad still has a chance to get his visa? Considering the data that you announced in your last YouTube video. I have no idea how to go to America alone with 3 small children, without a husband(( therefore, denying a visa to my husband is equivalent to denying a visa to everyone…
September 22, 2024 at 09:38
Approval is possible, but not certain. There is nothing you can do now. If you are the principal I don’t understand why they wanted his CV and so on, unless they were concerned about public charge.
September 23, 2024 at 11:31
Not because of public charge. He talked too much about polymers, his plant produces. I guess, this made them think, he is some kind of industrial spy and all that stuff…(((
September 20, 2024 at 12:40
Hello Brit, my status today say last updated is 18th but status has not changed, you said the programme may come to an end on 23rd, that is on Monday, is there a possibility of being issued on Monday or is it done.
September 20, 2024 at 16:01
It’s possible until the visas are gone.
September 19, 2024 at 18:49
Simon, the DV 26 entry date has not been announced yet.
Do you think that’s normal?
September 19, 2024 at 20:13
Yes
September 18, 2024 at 19:53
Hi Brit! DV-25 winner, 168XX**. Interview post – Islamabad,Pakistan . I’ve read that they are pretty slow in scheduling and processing. Do you know anything about that? Should I try to transfer my case to another place? Thanks
September 18, 2024 at 01:17
Hello Simon i wanted to ask a question well , my friend won the DV lottery for 2021 but due to corona it was delayed , well they are saying that their case is under the court for some reason but still haven’t heard anything . Is there any chance that they will hear from now and then or should she stop hoping?
September 18, 2024 at 09:21
There was a court case that held open some hope for a long time, but that case was recently decided finally and now all remaining hope is gone.
September 17, 2024 at 12:45
Hi Brit, I’d like to say thank you for the support since day one. My visa has been issued at MTL when I transferred from ACC. A question I have; can I enter US via the border and process my docs there or the only option is to travel there via air and process my docs at their customs? Also, can I come back to Canada to finish my course (few months for me to be done/complete) knowing that the stamped passport has the indication “UPON ENDORSEMENT SERVES AS TEMPORARY I-551 EVIDENCING PERMANENT RESIDENCE FOR 1 YEAR. Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon.
September 17, 2024 at 18:28
Ground is fine, and yes they will endorse your visa which is useful until the GC arrives.
September 17, 2024 at 11:17
hello simon,i emailed the kcc and the reply was this KCC
13:47 (il y a 19 minutes)
À moi
Thank you for your inquiry.
Your case number is now current for interview processing. If you are scheduled for an interview date, you will receive notification via email to check https://dvprogram.state.gov. If you need to make changes to your DS-260 you should contact the consular section where you will be interviewed, or bring the information about your changes to your interview appointment. Because your case is ready to be scheduled, KCC can no longer unlock your application.
is it a good news or ???
September 17, 2024 at 18:32
Yes it’s fine.

Hello mr brit simon. I was put on 221g on my interview day in August in djibouti embassy.I was cleared from the 221g in 12th august and asked to turn in my family pasports and my flight booking, till that day Iam waiting for the embassy to issue my visa which still shows refused. My question is, can 221g cases still be issued visas till 30 septemper or are they ending with the interviews in 23 septemper?? Please clarify that for me.Iam kindly waiting for your response
Thanks
September 19, 2024 at 13:02
Once visas are exhausted, they won’t issue any more. You should contact the embassy to ask whether your case will be approved.
September 20, 2024 at 08:23
They have already clearedme from 221g and asked me to turn in my passports.
1)is there another approval I should be waiting from the embassy?
2) are visas more likely to be exhousted for 221g’s before the end of september?
Kindly waiting for your response
September 20, 2024 at 09:13
1. You need them to approve the visas.
2. Yes
September 17, 2024 at 01:20
Dear Simon,
I had my interview on 5 September. I was approved and the CO said that it would take about 3 weeks to issue the visa. Last week Thursday my application status changed to AP.
After seeing your video this morning, I’m thinking of emailing the Consulate with the screenshot of Curtis Morrison’s message, expressing my concerns, and asking them by when I can expect the visa to be issued…
Do you think it would be appropriate? In your opinion, could this email help speed up issuance of visa at all? Or would it have reverse effect?
A few years ago a friend of mine went through the DV process here in JHN. She was approved. They kept her passport for weeks to eventually return it with no visa, saying that EU region ran out of visas (she’s from Finland living in SA). I’m really worried that it could happen to me too.
Please advise.
Warm regards,
J
September 17, 2024 at 08:42
Emailing them won’t harm
September 18, 2024 at 22:29
Hello J
I wanted to ask someone, does the JHN embassy request for affidavit of support?
And also how’s the interview like
Thank you
September 19, 2024 at 12:53
They sometimes ask for that, yes.
