I have created some videos to help you enter DV2026 covering topics such as completing the entry, creating a photo, choosing the correct country of chargeability and so on. Please check out these videos and don’t make a mistake on your DV2026 entry!
Also check back during the next few days as I am adding some more videos that will help you avoid mistakes.
Anyone can enter DV2026 – even those that are current DV2025 winners.

Hi Brit,
Many thanks for your guidance.
I pray this finds you in good health.
My family and i have had our photos taken. However reading through the photo requirements i see amongst other things that…”the image must be in color (24 bits per pixel) in sRGB color space…”
Going through the properties of our photos, i see that the color representation is labeled “uncalibrated” instead of sRGB.
Will this affect our application especially since meeting the photo requirement is very important.
We don’t want to take any chance. We want to get it right.

Use the official photo tool for the final version. That will create a compliant photo.

The video was very useful in helping me understand the process

Hi BritSimon
Hope you good sir.I have a question I’m yet to apply for Dv lottery 2026 and I’ve happen to spend so much already on dv passport photo but seems I’m not getting the correct one or maybe I’m overthinking. Recently I went to a studio and after that my photo came out so well though with a little shadow on my face even after several attempts and the studio guy after sending the photo I realized I’m abit light skinned and on asking he said he did a little face retouch to remove the shadow my question is can I used the same photo to apply sir
