I want to show everyone how to determine the following questions that will help you understand whether your embassy is processing well or not. Watch this video to understand:
1. Pre-pandemic monthly capacity for each embassy
2. Pre-pandemic ratio between DV cases and other IV cases at each embassy.
3. Whether the embassy has resumed a normal level of processing compared to the “normal” levels.
4. Whether they are treating DV fairly OR are in fact applying some sort of prioritization scheme that favors other immigrant visa types.
The tool I show is at the link below. It is a visualization of official issuance data.
https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/noyan1550/viz/USVisas-SaveDiversityVisa/USVisas
I also use the current CEAC data as shown by SaveDiversityVisa.org

Hello Simon, thank you for the answers and the availability.
I ask :
2-Why has the kcc not treated our ds260 for 6 months? While they claim to take between 6-8 weeks.
3-The recourse to Justice of dv22 to fight against the prioritization in the embassy of Mr. JESSE is at what level please.
5-What is our way to claim our treatment of ds260 which sent in June not yet processed?
February 18, 2022 at 14:37
2. I don’t know.
3. I don’t understand what you mean.
4. Lawsuits or just waiting.

Thank you for everything

Hello simon my file number is 2022AF14K, DS260 sent on June 4, 2021 to me and my family members. I just unlocked my ds260 and sent it back on September 3, 2021, the documents were sent in July 2021 then September 3, 2021. my questions please:
1- The kcc will consider the submission date of June 4, 2021 or September 3, 2021.
2- Why the kcc does not process the ds260 while waiting for the availability of the embassies because my remark is that no one receives any more or very rarely any ds260 treatment if it is not their maintenance date which is at the same time available.
3-The process for prioritization of dv lottery in embassies is at what level?
4- Is it normal that the kcc number given by themselves on their site has not been functional for years and the response to their email is still not explicit to the request on the delay in processing.

1. I don’t know.
2. I don’t understand your question.
3. DQ date order.
4. Normal in a way.

Hi Simon, DV2021 here.
I currently live in UAE and seeing the DV issuance in Abu Dhabi post worries me a bit.
Let’s assume that DoS will start to follow Judges’ order for GOH and schedule interviews. How can I ask to change my interview location? And when will that be appropriate since I am already DQ?
Thanks.
February 17, 2022 at 13:49
You have to wait until process starts. There should be no need to change the embassy.
February 19, 2022 at 05:38
Given the slow pace of Abu Dhabi Embassy (in 2021&2022) I fear that Goh visas might get exhausted before they move their ass. At this point I learned not to take anything for granted.

visa bulletin for April is out 50,000 CUTOFF ,but surprisingly ..people are not getting their 2NL ….
February 17, 2022 at 13:18
Did you expect that to happen within 20 minutes?
February 15, 2022 at 18:41
Hi BritSimon,
I am a little confused as to how many interviews a post should do. I am EU3XXX and have been current since November. I submitted DS260, June 3rd. My post i Stockholm and they only seem to be doing an average of 5 – 6 interviews. Some months have 0. (prior to covid)
Would you suggest changing post? Or is it just because it’s a small post and not many people have cases here?
My case is still at NVC.
Thank you in advance!
February 15, 2022 at 18:59
Well you can see the prepandemic capcity using the method I describe.
You should email KCC and see if they processed your DS260.
February 16, 2022 at 16:49
Hi BritSimon, this is what they replied. (1 day reply, pretty fast) … However it’s, a little ambiguous to me, does it mean they haven’t processed my case? If so, what could that mean?
“Thank you for your inquiry.
Records indicate you have submitted a complete and valid DS-260 application for each family member, and you have provided all required documentation to the Kentucky Consular Center. Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing. Please refer to the visa bulletin at https://travel.state.gov to locate the current numbers being processed. This bulletin is updated after the 15th day of each month. Once an interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via email to check dvprogram.state.gov.”
Thank you for you help in advance!

Hey Simon,
thank you for the analysis. in the SaveDV site when you select a particular consulate in DV2022 Statistics Of All US Consulates, it shows individual case numbers which are Ready and their individual statuses (i.e. Ready, AP or Refused) which you explained in the video.
my confusion is; are these Refusals due to issues in the DS-260?? because at the moment the embassy i looked for has not done any interviews and the 12 out of 53 cases sent by NVC are already refused.
can you please explain further. thank you.
February 11, 2022 at 15:56
No refusals happen before interview although there are a couple of embassies that mark the case as AP prior to the interview. Your message is confused, and you don’t mention the embassy, so I can’t figure out what you are looking at.
February 14, 2022 at 09:58
Im sorry for the confusion. the embassy is CLM.
heres the link https://savediversityvisa.org/dv2022allconsulates/
it shows 1 issued, 13 refused and rest is ready.
im asking are these 13 refusals being refused by the embassy or at NVC???
February 15, 2022 at 00:03
NVC having no involvement in DV cases, KCC do. KCC cannot refuse any case, so any status change is by the embassy.
February 10, 2022 at 17:40
Dear Mr. Simon, Thanks a lot, though I miss your live videos I appreciate your explanations put up on these videos. I was once lost in these data tables I mean, trying to read them and you shed light on them. Glad that you took time to post the elaboration.

Hello Sir,
I hope you are great!
After watching your new video for embassy capacity, I checked the US consulate Mumbai. In the entire year of 2021, I think they have issued only one DV visa in September.
And I have also changed my interview location from Kabul to Mumbai.
My case number has been current since November. And I have not received 2NL so do you think they will get to me?
February 11, 2022 at 15:36
I don’t know.
