If those selectees were on a lawsuit, they have some hope. Other than that the only remaining hope is the bill being discussed in congress.

Hi Brit,
First of all, thanks for what you do, very appreciated. I am DV2022 winner EU14xxx. I am DQ since September (early DQ because of immediate DS260 submission and being a single derivative). So now I’ll most likely be current in 2022 March month in a visa bulletin. And my DQ is early so I’ll have a priority over some others with later DQ dates as I understand. I am all in for participating in lawsuits that have a possibility to succeed. I want to ask you:
1- If this lawsuit against tier 4 wins, do I get any benefits as I am already a DQ here in europe? Does it mean that I’ll get invited quicker? Can you explain what it would help me?
2- If this lawsuit goes into my case current month March, could my case be suspended or stopped from being invited for an interview (let’s say an embassy would have time for me without the help of a lawsuit). Would I then have to wait for a lawsuit outcome before getting 2NL?

The lawsuit is cancelled because the government cancelled their policy.
We will probably need lawsuits later – but let’s wait and see how things change.

It is so difficult to decide to join this lawsuit or wait for the preservation of visa lawsuit later in the fiscal year. I know it is a near impossible question, BUT – what would you do if DV2022 was the year you were selected and you have a case number AF46xxx ? Ultimately the visa is the goal, but we might not get there if the tiered approach is still in effect.

What is the purpose of the lawsuit? Is it for the high case number or both high and low case number?
Okay if you join is it 100% that you will go to USA?
How many people of 2020 and 2021 who join lawsuit and they are now in USA?
Finally how do you pay the money is it through USA embassy or just on personal account?
