Awesome news, it’s taken a few days, as was predicted, but now we are sure, there will be a return to decency in the Whitehouse.

What a relief! What a wonderful way to end the year with this clown out of the White House. Now there is hope for immigrants and visa lottery winners. Now it’s time to almost buy those one way tickets to the US.
November 7, 2020 at 17:12
Yeah, have been watching the race, not daring to hope. Here’s hoping that it’ll be the end of woes for DV-2020 and DV-2021 winners, as well as many others wronged by the current administration!
Couldn’t help but head to the Faux News website… Man, talk about rats and sinking ships…
Now if only we could do something about COVID… planning to get vaccinated as soon as we get the confirmation that the way’s clear. They started vaccination in China already, BTW. About US$ 70 for two shots… maybe will muster the courage and do it in January.
November 7, 2020 at 17:59
Yes yes yes……………. It happened finally. Thanks brit for the prediction.
Now we need to figure out how to chase him out of the white house. Am sure it will happen for. Below is a historical piece i want to share with the Previous Occupant of the whitehouse. He better advise himself and do the honorable thing to vacate in piece. Check this….
On March 4th 1801, the second president of the United States, John Adams, refused to hand over office to his main rival at the 1800 election, Thomas Jefferson.
The rule of midday January 20 had not been written yet but despite his stubbornness, the office simply left him!
After Thomas Jefferson was sworn in at an event which the incumbent refused to attend, Whitehouse staff started to remove the former president’s belongings from the White house (Adams was the first president to reside at the new official residence).
All security organs cut all official communication and all presidential staff stopped taking instructions from Adams – THE OFFICE MOVED.
From that time all incumbents at the White House prepare early to leave in case they see signs of losing to avoid humiliation by the independent organs of state (the military, the Secret Service, the CIA, FBI and White House staff all operate under a code – serving a man/woman who has carried the WILL of the people at an election).
As soon as Biden clinches the 270 votes and is officially declared by all returning officers in the states, the following is going to happen
1. The Secret Service divides its attention between the incumbent and the incoming President.
2. CIA begins to give them both security briefings (including top secret intelligence which is traditionally reserved for the commander in chief).
3. The counter intelligence teams of the CIA which also ‘spy’ on the CIA also begin to brief both of them.
4. Whitehouse staff prepare to re-do the WH in-line with the taste of the president-elect.
5. At Midday on January 20, Whitehouse staff remove all the former president’s belongings from the house and bring in the belongings of the new president (they wait for no one’s instructions).
6. The deductions for Whitehouse rent on Trump’s salary stops in January while the deductions for Whitehouse rent begins on Joe Biden’s presidential salary in January.
7. Melania Trump stops being the boss of Whitehouse on January 20 at midday and Dr. Jill Biden becomes the boss of Whitehouse on January 20 at midday.
8. At midday on January 20, all the power organs of the US cut official communication with Trump; The Pentagon, The CIA, The FBI, The Attorney General. The Secret Service however maintains minimal communication since it is going to guard the ex-president all his life.
8. The BEAST and AIRFORCE ONE salute Trump for the last time and move their attention to Biden. The BEAST begins to carry Biden’s blood samples as is the tradition.
All this without any executive orders or instructions from anyone! The system just kicks in.

LOL – fun post!
November 7, 2020 at 20:23
Interesting – I’m sure the efficacy of later vaccines will improve.
November 8, 2020 at 06:53
From what I gather, there are at least two types of vaccines on trial now. The first one (Russian Sputnik V, a few of Chinese vaccines and many others) are based on the adenovirus carrier modified to produce spike proteins. This is a well-developed platform so the production could be ramped up pretty fast, but there are a few limitations: First, you need to get two shots separated by 14 to 28 days. Second, the antibody count seems to drop after a few months. Third one’s a real bummer as you can’t use this vaccine to boost the immunity after the first two shots as the body will develop immunity to the adenovirus carrier. Still it may turn out to provide lasting protection and definitely will help to further slow the propagation.
Another way is to use the inactivated SARS-2 coronavirus, but I’m not sure what progress was made here, if any.
The third option is using just the spike protein. This approach allows for booster shots and seasonal vaccination and is much easier on the body. This approach is used by the vaccine produced by my neighbours (see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_Research_Center_of_Virology_and_Biotechnology_VECTOR – but they did move to human trials already), and what’s important it is considered safe for senior citizens. I’m 146% sure there’s a lot of work in this direction everywhere in the world – indeed, it looks quite scalable and safe.
So here’s hoping we’ll have something that’ll allow us to return to something that resembles normal life soon!

November 7, 2020 at 19:07
Dear Brit Simon,
Was watching live video- thank you !
Wanted to check last time, any hope for 2020EU40***, or its finish ? Group 5.
Thank you.
November 7, 2020 at 20:27
I can’t be certain its finished, but its not a low case number and documents not processed, so there are many more than 9000 people who would be ahead of you…
November 8, 2020 at 12:42
Bad news dear Brit Simon, but i still wanna be positive and try to believe :))))
Thank you so so much!
November 7, 2020 at 20:32
Unfortunately I couldn’t follow the live video. Can you please summarize what the election outcome means to the dvl process??? Thank you
November 8, 2020 at 05:29
Biden takes office January 20. Trump is president until then. Biden can only remove bans etc then.
November 7, 2020 at 21:11
This are great news, and a glimmer of hope for DV winners, however this is only just the beggining. I’m a SA DV winner, but the US embassy in my country has already been contacted and are not able to give a concrete answer as to when they plan to resume regular visa services. Does anyone have any insight as to when embassies plan to resume regular services?
November 7, 2020 at 21:15
As it won’t matter that Joe Biden is the new president if embassies don’t resume services.
November 8, 2020 at 02:27
We have to wait and see what happens. It may take another lawsuit to force the processing again.
November 8, 2020 at 18:20
Al Gore was also president for 36 days until recount finished . The media announced Biden next president. Not the states . Might it happen that recount now will overturn the numbers in some states ?
November 9, 2020 at 00:09
First, Al Gore was NEVER the president. That is nonsense.
And no – a recount would not overturn this result.
November 9, 2020 at 22:22
May be you were not in US at that time but Al Gore was president elect for 36 days until the recount finished and supreme court overturned it and Bush became president. Might it happen the same now? Supreme court has more Republicans than democrats and might do the same ?
November 9, 2020 at 23:08
No that did NOT happen, Gore had been predicted as the winner of Florida, then the vote looked like it went to Bush, Gore conceeded, and retracted his concession, then the recounts started – and all that happened within 24 hours of the election. Even if he had “won”, “President elect” is NOT the president.
So, first. Stop going on about Gore.
Second, this is a very different situation with Biden passing the EC threshold with a number of different states. This is not going to be overturned.

November 7, 2020 at 22:57
Dear Brit,
Thanks a lot for the great upload. My case number is 2021EU9***. I have already submitted my documents but yet to hear more from KCC. Around when do you think the interview would be possible?
Best regards
November 8, 2020 at 02:24
I don’t know when interviews will start – just be patient.
November 7, 2020 at 22:59
Dear Simon, what about EU283XX (DV-2021) now that Kyrgyzstan will most likely be allowed to participate under Biden? Still OK?
November 8, 2020 at 02:24
I don’t know – wait and see.
November 7, 2020 at 23:07
Hi Brit , hope you are doing well
now that Joe Biden win the election
1) Can we saw the meng amandment be adopted ?
2) If KCC dont send 2NL in november will that mean no interview before march for DV2021 ?
3) if 2 Happend can a number like AF64K have a chance for interview ?
thank you in advence
November 8, 2020 at 02:23

November 8, 2020 at 00:34
Hi Brit, need a small clarification..As Muslim ban has been gone through Supreme Court n has been approved. Can Biden remove it over one night?
November 8, 2020 at 02:21
Yes
November 8, 2020 at 00:46
Can’t wait ..
November 8, 2020 at 02:44
Hello Mr. Simon
I just submitted my DV2022 entry. I did a mistake
my birth date is July 21 and I entered July 12 “instead”. Is that fine, in case my application has been selected for further processing?
Can I submit another entry to correct this typo?
November 8, 2020 at 05:36
Do NOT submit another entry. If selected, you will correct the date later.
November 8, 2020 at 14:45
Thanks. So this error “12 instead of 21 in the date” will not disqualify my entry, if selected?
November 8, 2020 at 03:18
So Mr. Brite
Do you think that eliminating the Muslim ban will severely impact 2021 Egyptian selectees as 6K Sudanese will enter the process? My CN is AF25K Egypt.
I know it is hard to predict that, but just based on your experience and deep knowledge of DV, I would like to hear your expectations.
November 8, 2020 at 05:37
There would be an impact to high case numbers. Yours is not high.
November 8, 2020 at 03:18
Hey brit..Thanks for everything
I want to ask a simple thing please give a reply
Should spouse pass education requirement though he is the deriavative? Thanks alot..:)

November 8, 2020 at 03:23
Hello Sir. I was interviewed on September and I have a visa with annotation “subjected to pp 10014” valid until 10th of March. What are the chances that I will not be able to go to the USA? I want to liquidate my assets as I can’t do that overnight. If there’s strong chance, I would like to initiate process of liquidating my assets. Is there any chance that granted visa can be revoked?
November 8, 2020 at 05:38
You will be fine.
November 8, 2020 at 08:17
Mr Brit! What number is a high case number for Africa ?
I am confused!
November 8, 2020 at 23:36
Please click on archive above and read some of my recent explanations.
November 8, 2020 at 09:21
Hi Brit, I think the issuance of 9000 DV2020 visas could further delay DV2021 interviews because some of those selectees are yet to be interviewed. Because of all these reasons for delays do you think the person who oversees the work of USCIS and KCC or some other government authority under Biden administration, could order them to expedite the DV2021 interviewing / scheduling process or is it entirely up to USCIS and KCC? I also think that the Biden administration will have much important things to do other than influencing USCIS and KCC but is there any possibility for this scenario to happen? Sorry if my question is inappropriate.
November 8, 2020 at 23:38
We could speculate on these things all day long. Let’s wait and see what happens.
November 8, 2020 at 10:24
Hey brit .how are u
.I’m kindly requesting you for some guide lines of how i can write to the kcc
November 8, 2020 at 23:41

November 8, 2020 at 10:29
DV 2020EU54xxx
Dear Mr.Brit Simon
Thank you for your video.
1.Could you say that the below email from KCC means that my scan documents have been processed, since here is saying that the DS has been processed?
2.My PC is expired should we apply for another one or we must wait?
3.Is any chance for DV 2020 with big case number due to the last event?
Thank you in advance!
Thank you for your inquiry.
Your DS-260 has been processed. You should have received, or will soon receive, an email from the Kentucky Consular Center giving you instructions to complete in order for your case to continue processing. Please follow the instructions in the email. Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing. Interviews for the DV 2020 program will begin in October 2019 and conclude on September 30, 2020. Please refer to the visa bulletin at https://www.travel.state.gov to locate the current numbers being processed. This bulletin is updated after the 15th day of each month. Once an interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via email to check https://www.dvlottery.state.gov.
After sending documents to [email protected], you will receive an automatic reply to your email. If there are no attachments, the auto reply explains there are no documents attached to the email. If there are attachments, the auto reply explains we received your email and are currently processing your documents. Please allow time for processing of your documents. Documents are processed in numerical order, based on lottery rank number. Once KCC has processed your documents, we will let you know if anything is missing or if we have received everything needed.
In order for the Kentucky Consular Center to assist with inquiries regarding a specific Diversity Visa (DV) case, you must provide the Principal Applicant’s full name, complete case number, and date of birth in the following format (MMDDYYYY) as entered on the original entry. Please remember that the Kentucky Consular Center does not have the authority to tell you whether or not your specific case will be disqualified. Only a consular officer can do that at the time of your visa interview. Do not send any paper documents to the Kentucky Consular Center.

1. The email does NOT mean they have processed your documents. So – unless you got another email satying your documents are processed, then you are in category 5. Since you also have a high case number, it is extremely unlikely that you get one of the remaining visas.
2. Your choice.
3. See 1.
November 8, 2020 at 10:44
Hi Brittany Simon, what is the current situation for selectees from Sierra Leone as there is temporal bad , should I submit my DS-260?
November 8, 2020 at 23:46
You can if you want. Biden being elected might help.
November 8, 2020 at 12:34
Any chances to increase reserve visa in future if Charles kuck again challenge in court in future as per his comments
November 8, 2020 at 23:53
We shall have to wait and see.
November 8, 2020 at 13:56
Hello Brit, I was one of the selected of DV2020 and had an interview on 7th May. On September the May interviews failed to be conducted on my county. With the decision of state lawyers to appeal the judgment decision do you see any risk that the quote of 9000 visas that are reserved to be canceled on the court? We should be patient and we are but I don’t want to still wait something that maybeit is with no hope anymore and I am not seeing it! Thank you for your time
November 8, 2020 at 23:56
There are no guarantees. You just have to wait and see.
November 8, 2020 at 15:28
Mr. Britsimon
I have few inqurinqu. I am DV 2021 selectee. CN is AF2xxx.
1. Does my spouse as devirative have to meet up with the employment and education requirements to be eligible for the best visa.
2. With the election of Mr. Biden, when do you think the 2NL will be served?
3. With this, when do you think interview will be conducted?

November 8, 2020 at 16:10
Hi Dear Simon.
Thanks for your great efforts.
I am from Yemen and I had won the lottery 2018 and I was interviewing in Djibouti.
Because of the embargo imposed by Trump on a number of countries, including Yemen, I was refused a visa based on the ban.
Now, after Biden won the American elections, can we file a lawsuit in an American court because we were wronged?
November 9, 2020 at 00:06
No. DV2018 is over.
November 8, 2020 at 19:22
Hello
I am a DV2018 winner, I was in the USA got my GC and worked a couple of months, but due personal reasons I had to travel back to my origin country. From April 2019 till April 2020 i stayed at my country of origin. Before I would surpass the 1 year timeline of staing out of US, I booked e flying ticket with a flight date 2-3 weeks before the 1 year timeline, but pandemic hit really hard everything shot down, flights were canceled and everything went south. Now some things stabilised & I want to re entry again in the USA. My questions are as follow:
1. Should I apply right now for the re entry permit? What are the chances that I will be refused from my local embassy, even tho it was a mess primarily due to COVID-19?!
2. Could I get a problem with overstaying, at the border with the border officer? If I have a re entry permit?
P.S. I scanned my booked flying tickets that I had before the covid19 hit.
Are any other steps that I should consider?
Thanks You very much
November 9, 2020 at 00:13
1. You would apply for an SB1, not a re-entry permit.
2. If you get the SB-1, no problem.
November 8, 2020 at 21:58
Hello, will they make exceptions for dv winners 2018,2019 and 2020 whoes interview date was ignored or not scheduled due to cut off as it happened in DV 2018?Thank you
November 9, 2020 at 00:15
No.
November 9, 2020 at 05:50
hi simon
can kcc schedule all 2021 current cases in just one month or they will divide cases for few months.
November 9, 2020 at 14:42
The cases are spread over the full year.

November 9, 2020 at 14:29
Yes.
November 9, 2020 at 13:41
What if Trump refuse to peacefully transfer the presidency?
November 9, 2020 at 14:21
He’ll be dragged out of the Whitehouse if needed. The Secret Service, who provide the Presidential security, will have no problem removing him. There is absolutely no doubt.
November 9, 2020 at 14:55
Hello Brit,
Thank you for running this blog it has a wealth of information .
Am a DV 2021 winner AF30xxx. My question is I used my new passport to fill the DS260 could it be a problem or I should have used my old passport the one i used during entry or i should unlock the Ds260 and change the details.
November 9, 2020 at 15:23
You can use the new one. When you send in documents, send scans of both old and new passports.
November 9, 2020 at 16:27
Please help… I ve been trying to apply today all day and I constantly get ERR_CONNECTION_RESET messages! I managed to get to the final screen “Submission in progress” but I still get the errors… What should I do? I am worried if I close the browser and try on a different one that I will be disqualified having two entries… Please help!
November 9, 2020 at 16:44
Check your network connection is good.
Make sure you don’t have multiple browser sessions (windows) open.
Complete the form quickly.
November 9, 2020 at 16:47
Thanks for the quick response! Should I start over? Is there chance of multiple entries if I start over?
November 9, 2020 at 18:34
The only time the entry is in is when you see the confirmation code.
November 9, 2020 at 16:41
Hi Simon,
if you were had your visa reissued (in Schengen) would you travel to a 3rd not banned country and activate your GC or would you wait for Jan/February with hope travel bans will be lifted?
November 9, 2020 at 17:37
Hello, Mr. Brit! Case no. 2021EU20XXX here ☺️ In your opinion, what is the normal timing to get letter from KCC asking for supporting documents? P.S. Thank you so much for this video and all the work that you do! ?
November 9, 2020 at 18:14
Timing varies, and there is no doubt that the ban/covid impact has slowed down their efforts. So – be patient.
November 9, 2020 at 19:04
Brit, I’m in group 5 and in my country everyone who was documentary qualified all of them were interviewed in September. My case is EU35K 2020 winner. Do you think I still have the chances? Interviews stopped at EU32XXX, also I’m Keneddy plaintiffs. And another question. Do we have the chances to get more visas as Biden won elections? I guess Kuck was writing about it
November 9, 2020 at 23:12
You should know my answer already. Wait and see.
November 10, 2020 at 09:53
Hi brit is it possible president biden to remove public charge when he sworn the presidency
November 10, 2020 at 18:41
I’m going to guess you are confused about what is meant by public charge, so your question is ambiguous.
Public charge rules are part of immigration and have been so for 100 years. Biden would need Congress to change the laws to change that.
The Trump administration recently tried to change a few aspects of another part of the rules, also related to public charge. That has confused people and is probably what you think you are asking about. That change is blocked anyway, and yes Biden to remove it.
November 11, 2020 at 04:34
Brit i am 2020 DVwinner from Rwanda 2020AF50XXX,I submitted all my DS260 and documents

November 11, 2020 at 04:34
As dv2020

November 11, 2020 at 15:42
I don’t know. All you can do is wait and see.
November 11, 2020 at 08:44
Dear Brit, I have found a potential affidavit of support. But there are few issues, apricate your valuable advice.
1. He is a relative of a close friend of mine. I don’t know him personally. Would this raise an issue?
2. He is over 65 years of age and his income is his pension but he says its enough to meet the poverty guidelines.
3. He lives with his wife but has 2 children who are living separately. They have their own income and houses. When considering the poverty guidelines do I need to include his 2 children?
November 11, 2020 at 15:45
1. It weakens the support a little if they ask you about the relationship.
2. That could be a problem.
3. No
November 11, 2020 at 17:22
Thank you sir!
November 11, 2020 at 17:38
For the 2nd question, what if he had another source of income? Would his age still raise an issue?
November 11, 2020 at 20:27
Given the circumstances, choose someone else.
November 12, 2020 at 08:54
Thank you sir!

Dear Brit
I got DV2020 visa expired on 11 Mar 2021 but due to high number of Covid-19 in US, is there any chance that I could extend my visa? Thanks in advance for your help.
November 11, 2020 at 17:12
At this time, you should assume that will not be possible. The lawyers are trying to get approval to allow further renewals, but that is by no means certain, so just plan on travelling before Mar 11.
November 11, 2020 at 22:01
Hello, how long till I get my green card/resident card!
November 11, 2020 at 23:10
How could I possibly answer that.
