Hi Brit! A bunch of appreciation for all your effort for us. I am a DV 2020 selectee, with case number EU323XX from Ukraine. My my documents were confirmed and ready for the interview, but I did not receive a date. May my case qualify for a reserved judge visa? Thanks you.

I don’t know. You just have to wait and see.

Dear Simon,
I guess you heard my question from many ,but forgive me as i tried to get an answer from U.S Consulate in Sudan and so far all my emails come back with Auto reply.
I am a DV 2020 winner, all my documents were in order as per KCC , I got scheduled for interview on april 13th . Unfortianatly Covid – 19 accelerate the embassy evacuation on march 28th and i got an email stating that my appointment was cancelled due to the evacuation and they can’t tell when the embassy will resume work again,
Till this date none of consulate Staff were returned back and no respond on my emails except the auto reply also no one is picking the phone , Finally i wrote to KCCwho refers me to the consulate to seek another appointment.
I Thought i lost the oppourtunity , until a freind of mine says that some of DV2020 winners in other countries got another interview schedule after september 2020.
would you please advise me to whome else i can present my case just to know wether i have lost my oppourtunity of immigration as a DV2020 winner or there is still chance to have another interview appointment.
appreciate your support
Sincere regards
saleh Abdulrhamn

There is no one else to present the case to. For now – just wait and see what happens about the lawsuit.

Thank you dear Britsimon from your assistance
i received email from embassy today that your visa documents are ready for collection, but i guess my Visa would be for three months due to my medical exam. my medical was conducted on 03-June-2020.
Dear Simon what should i do next, Please?
There are also remained 3 and half months for expiring of June Trump Proclamation!!!!
September 16, 2020 at 21:44
Unless you had a visa prior to April 23, three months is no good. I have already explained that you needed a new medical. Sort that out with the embassy.
September 12, 2020 at 20:31
Hi BritSimon,
I am the main applicant ,my spouse was on medical hold before because of X-ray ( lung scar which are permanent) she was cleared after 2 months hold and this time too Embassy suggest not to go for medical again because she will be on medical hold again and it would be the waste of money .
In this case is it better too go for Curtis Morrison new lawsuit on September 14 and if yes will it be on the winner name that is mine?
Thank you.

Dear Brit Simon,
My case number is EU54XXX
I belong to 5 group I have tried reaching out to KCC and Embassy of Kazakhstan but no avail.
Could you say is their any chance and does it make sense to join Morison’s 3.0 case?
Thank you in advance

Without an extension there is no chance for you. You need to make up your own mind about whether to join the additional lawsuits. You could also sign up for this lawsuit without a fee:

hello brit , i am a liberian and a dv 2020 winner and received my get ready email from KCC since march 2020. and my case number is 2020AF00017xxxxxx. is there any hope for me.

Hi Brit! A bunch of appreciation for all your effort for us. I am a DV 2020 selectee, with case number EU251XX from Ukraine ( NOT in Schengen area) I am in group 4, got my confirmation mail saying ready for scheduling on 10th of March . KCC answered me like this : If your name is in the list of lawsuit, you will be interviewed. If not , no interview. Here the embassy didn’t give me a clear reply .
1) In which way can I force my chance to KCC about my case ? ( despite of the fact that my group doesn’t have that much of priority as the first 3 groups)
2) Is it the fact, I mean no need to push ahead if my name is not in the list ? ( I had filled out the form you provided to participate in AILA lawsuit , but not one of those 7 people )
I have read all your posts , watched the videos , read the comments but still need some guidance . With regards

1. You can’t. Just hope they get to your case number, but given Ukraine is high volume, that is unlikely.
2. They are correct and also all the people in Ukraine embassy from groups 1, 2 and 3 would be ahead of you. It’s possible that the embassy has too much work just doing the rescheduled cases, and they may not have opened up any interview slots for group 4 cases.
September 11, 2020 at 20:03
Thanks for your reply ?? How can I reach out the excel type of table that shows the data about the case numbers in certain regions ? To find out about the number of selectees to be interviewed in Ukraine, for instance.
September 11, 2020 at 20:10
It’s a lot. You don’t need an Excel.

Hi Brit, your efforts are much appreciated. I fall under group 3, embassy in Egypt refusing to deal my DV case.. I send and call everyday, and finally they informed yesterday they are closed for DV cases …very Frustrating!
September 11, 2020 at 18:24
This may change over the next few days, BUT Cairo have a lot of interviews, so they may not be able to reschedule everyone.
September 11, 2020 at 07:54
Can I do medical exam in another country and pass it to country that I have faced my interview?
I have no time to travel back because there is no flights.

September 11, 2020 at 18:21

Hi Brit, I am a dv 2020 selectee with case number 2020AF00058××××× I think I fall in group 4 or 5 because I haven’t received any get ready email and I have tried reaching out to KCC to no avail. What do you advice me . I am confused . Kind regards .
September 11, 2020 at 18:19
You can try calling KCC, but if you have not had your documents processed you probably have little chance. Only an extension can help you.
September 11, 2020 at 01:37

September 10, 2020 at 23:21
Hello Brit!
I really appreciate your service to us…By the way, I am DV 2020 winner , fortunately my embassy is cooperating to my case but unfortunately , my passport will expire on 17th March 2021 meaning between September 17th,2020 to 17th March,2021 is 6 month periods . I will like to know if there’ll be a problem with the embassy issuing the visa of such period left for my passport . Thanks for your quick response .
September 11, 2020 at 00:06
Not a problem. When you get your new passport you will travel with the old and new passports, the old visa will still be valid.
September 10, 2020 at 18:15
Hey Mister, we are the dv2020 winners and we are the big numbers. What will you present to us? Will we see our dream lost before us?
September 10, 2020 at 17:40
Hi Brit. Thank you for the information . I appreciate everything That you are doing for us . With regard to rescheduling the interview , I tried contacting the Mumbai embassy and they are rescheduling interview for F, M, and certain J categories (alien physician, government visitor, international visitor, professor, research scholar, short-term research scholar, specialist, secondary school student and college/university student). I supposed that I don’t fall in any of the mentioned catagories . I was told my case won’t be considered if it’s not in line with the given instruction . Is there any other way out or do I have to keep waiting ?

Tell them that DoS have classified these cases as “mission critical/emergency” cases.
