Hello Brit, greetings from my end to yours. Am dv2020. I have been waiting with faith
a) if things are favorable how will i get a visa with pregnancy?
b) if things work out well for the gomez case I will be heavily pregnant maybe during my interview. Will the pregnancy have an impact?
April 6, 2022 at 23:33
a. The procedure is not clear at this time – you will have to deal with that at the time.
b. Probably not.

February 13, 2022 at 23:24
Dear Sir:
Hope all is well, I have 2022SA00000027, I received an email last Dec 16 21 stating with congratulations that my case is ready for interview, but up to today i have not received the appointment. Could you comment what should i expect?
February 15, 2022 at 00:12
It depends on your embassy being open and having capacity for interviews.

Dear Brit, PASSPORT rule canceled – Does it mean that we can file an appeal, because we were refused on DV2021 interview in August, due to an illegal passport rule? We had some passport-ID related issues – applied by ID not passport.
February 13, 2022 at 18:16
Well you could try a lawsuit, but because the year ended you would probably not be successful.

Just a follow up to my question above.
My family in Georgia want to ask the one Senator to look into things at KCC on their (and obviously our) behalf and push them to do their jobs and process DV applications quicker.
When we write the description of the issue, should it be from a personal point of view of how it would reunite our family etc.? Or more a stating of the facts and failings at KCC type of essay and a link to the Forbes article on 1 Feb where you and Jesse Bless were both mentioned/quoted, and the excellent suggestions on 4 actions to be taken for DV2022 to save the FY?
I suppose we would want to do anything and everything in our limited power to help any way we can and possibly change things around for us and fellow DV2022 winners.
February 9, 2022 at 17:07
I don’t have any particular suggestions on format for such a request.
March 8, 2022 at 16:42
I shared his response with Jesse. I don’t mind if he shows you. Don’t really want to post the entire exchange on a public platform. We sent a follow up response with proof and the Senators office will follow up again with Mr Miles.

Hi Simon,
I listened to your recent Q&A with Jesse Bless (6 Jan) and there was a conversation about how DV is viewed as just someone who won a lottery and have no real ties to America. If we do have close family in America, would it make any difference to have the family contact KCC asking for an update, and have our US Citizen family member possibly petition a state Senator to contact KCC and ask for processing once CN is current?
February 9, 2022 at 15:02
No – that is not necessary.
February 17, 2022 at 06:51
Thank you Simon.
Would it harm anyone in the DV program if my sister just asks to follow up on my specific case? Obviously don’t want to do any harm (to my own case or others). The Senator has a form that citizens can complete specifically to follow up on immigration cases.
February 17, 2022 at 13:50
No harm.
March 3, 2022 at 14:58
Got feedback. Mr Miles is not very truthful in his response…
March 5, 2022 at 23:20
What do you mean?
February 4, 2022 at 13:19
Issue of Dv 2020,is there hope or is over
February 4, 2022 at 16:22
More waiting needed.
February 3, 2022 at 09:32
Hey Simon
Just wanted to find out will KCC get to a point where by they would have finished processing everyone’s DS260 ;its frustrating when your number was current December 2021 and you can not get an interview because your DS260 is still processing. Will try to keep being patient.
February 3, 2022 at 17:18
I think they will – but we have to wait and see.
February 3, 2022 at 05:51

February 1, 2022 at 22:19
Hello Simon, pls I’m cane number AF38k how are my chances of getting interview and pls
February 2, 2022 at 19:33
I don’t have a prediction for you.
February 1, 2022 at 01:23
Hi Simon, I hope you’re well. I’m in US on O1 and wishing to do change of status but my number is high 2022AF00055xxx. Do you agree with Jesse Bless on chances of numbers becoming current? Thank you.
February 2, 2022 at 19:23
I consider things from the point of view of the math and the remaining time. Neither of those things suggest regions going current. Jesse is looking at it a different way. My prediction or anyone else’s won’t change the outcome. So, I’ll wait and see.
January 30, 2022 at 21:52
Hi. Dear Brit.
my case number is 2022AS9xxx. I’m Iranian and I live in Iran and KCC chose Ankara as my interview location. I’ve change it to Yerevan in my DS260 form. is it enough or I should also email them and ask them to change my interview location to Yerevan?
January 31, 2022 at 00:29
Email them.
February 1, 2022 at 05:43
