In recent news published by Reuters insiders say that trump may impose a travel ban on Afghans and Pakistani citizens, would this effect Afghan DV lottery winners who have not had their interviews yet? What happened historically to DV lottery winners of countries where trump imposed a travel ban? Thanks.
It hasn’t happened yet, so I don’t know exactly what the terms of any such ban would be. However previous travel bans affect DV cases, and whilst visa issuance was allowed to continue, entry was barred.
