This visa bulletin covers December interviews.
For those that are current, and have forms processed early enough, they can expect their 2NL in about 2 weeks from now. I know I am going to get a lot of people who will ask me this exact question – so let me say that again. 2NLs for December interviews will be sent in about two weeks time. They will include interviews for cases that have been made current in this latest visa bulletin AND backlog cases that were already current last month but the DS260 was
We don’t know how far KCC will have progressed in terms of what submission dates will have been processed. Last month most 2NLs went to people who had submitted up to mid June. However, as I always point out – processing times for each case can be different, meaning two cases submitted on the same day may not be fully processed by the same day. As a guess I would imagine most submissions up to mid to late June would have been processed in time – but once 2NLs for this month are out we will see better.
Whilst DV2015 is still processing, this is the first visa bulletin of DV2016. Read this link if you are unsure how to read the visa bulletin.
For those that cannot understand why the pace has slowed down, please read this post from a month ago that explained the backlog effect on the VB.

Hi, my CN is 2016EU00048 and am a winner. I sent a letter to KCC informing them about the marriage I had in December 2014. In the letter I made a mistake on my middle name. My middle name has two r in it, but I put one r during my letter to KCC. I have not fill in the ds260 form due to some passport issues. Can I correct it in my passport and the ds260 Form. Pls i need your advice

Submit the ds260 with the accurate names. That is all you need to do.

Good day Brit! Thanks a million for the expert advice that you dispense to us through this platform. By merely going through the forum discussions, I have learnt a lot regarding the Dv-lottery.God bless you richly!!I have a question to ask and i need your expert advice. I am residing in South Africa with my wife and kid and i am thinking of changing my interview location to my Home country,Zimbabwe.Do you think this would cause problems or affect the chances of me getting a visa?
Regards to your daughter and best wishes to her on the lil tree house project. Will surely give something towards that in due course!
October 31, 2015 at 15:13
There is no problem changing IF you do it before the interview is scheduled. Changing after the scheduling needs coordination between the two embassies and that can go wrong.
October 31, 2015 at 15:41
Thank you Brit for the quick response! Much appreciated!!
October 28, 2015 at 20:11
Hi Brit!I have a concern about filling in the ds-260 form.Do I have to complete filling in all the forms before submitting? I mean Principal applicant and derivatives as well before submitting? Or I fill them in and submit one at the time? Pls I need you to make this clear for me.Thanks!
October 28, 2015 at 22:35
Fill them all in and submit all at the same time.

Hello Simon. I didn’t know in which part of the site Im supposed to ask this question so I’m randomly asking it here, hope making any desagrement.
My case number is AF16xxx and probably not having my intervew before few months, I’m in London and supposed to have my intervew here, the thing is I’m planning to get married to a British lady and was wondering how i could deal with that regarding the intervew and what will come next. As in do I have to do anything before the intervew is this gonna affect the result ..,
Thanks a lot for your help you’re just doing a great job thank you.
October 28, 2015 at 14:05
You had better stop “planning” and get on with it. Your interview could be sooner than you think. Read this:

October 26, 2015 at 19:14
Is not if I want to, is all about the DV policy. And been an experience person in advicing people what to do, that is why i’m asking you to help me in the process sir. I don’t know my way out. Please, please help me.
October 26, 2015 at 21:01
Deciding whether to proceed or not is up to you. It is obviously pretty hard to explain that as a simply mistake of typing – and regardless of who did it, you are responsible. Some COs might disqualify a person for this mistake – others might not. It is a risk – I can’t give you a safe “fix”.
October 27, 2015 at 01:36
my dia one please stop stressing your self over that remember you first have to get selected which is not very easy. v
October 26, 2015 at 15:39
I cannot not tell the embassy that it was a mistake from the typewriter? A give my real date of birth to the embassy? Please advice on that.
October 26, 2015 at 17:33
You can try that if you want – it is up to you.
October 26, 2015 at 07:46
I mean the DV 2017 entry form. The man at the cafe made a mistake and type in september 10, 1979, instead of september 21, 1968. So simon what should I do in this case? Please advice me what to do.
October 26, 2015 at 13:57
There is nothing you can do. You can’t change it. If you are selected, you might be disqualified during interview. But – there is a very low chance of selection anyway.
October 26, 2015 at 00:56
Brit according to the above scenario if visa being approved and not given after, us it right to comment that september interviews are risky. thanks
October 26, 2015 at 02:53
Being badly prepared for a September interview is risky – yes.
October 26, 2015 at 00:51
hi brit you asked about the embassy were the affidavit of support is not applied, it is the us embassy nairobi, secondly is every married case surposed to go with wedding photos ?thanks
October 26, 2015 at 02:42
To my certain knowledge Nairobi embassy has asked for the I-134 from DV applicants. Rare, but possible.
Wedding photos are encouraged for recent marriages… those that might appear marriages for the sake of the DV lottery.
October 25, 2015 at 22:31
Hi Brit, I have a serious problem concerning the program. The person that type in my information made a mistake on My date of brith. Instead of september 21, 1968, he put in september 10, 1979. Simon pls advice me on what to do. I’m really worrying on the situation.
October 26, 2015 at 00:28

October 23, 2015 at 18:22

1)in part of work and training education i make some mistakes , i listed just my secondary school but not primary school . can i unlock ds for this or just stay my interview.
October 23, 2015 at 20:13
No need to unlock for that. They are most concerned with secondary school.
