People have recently suggested various petitions when Trump was in power. That was a pointless exercise in my opinion, because it was asking a bully to be nicer to the people he wanted to bully.
However, We will soon have a different President in the Whitehouse, so let’s greet President Biden with a petition to remove the ban immediately (to help DV2020 winners) and to instruct KCC to get to work on DV2021 cases. We can’t afford to lose more time.
Please review and sign the petition HERE.
Do all you can to get all your friends and family to sign the petition. Spread the word about this petition. Blow it up! Let’s get as many signatures as possible by the time Joe Biden gets into office.

Good day Simon , trust you are good and enjoying fall season,
my question is, I was born in the very small town and the town name is on my birth certificate as a place of birth , my city is 3 hours driver away from my small town and its not on my birth certificate , when I apply I choose city of birth as unknown due to I cant put the town as a city of birth.
my worry is, should I be selected for 2024 and consular on the day of interview see that I have town name on my place of birth but on my application I said my city is unknown, is this dilemma can lead me to fail my visa? ,
or on the day of DS260 I must complete the city of birth and use my small town or continues with city of birth as unknown
Your help here will be highly appreciated
thank you in advance .

Your chance of selection in DV is one in 100 years. If you are selected, you list your place of birth.

The president just signed 3 executive orders and nothing was mentioned about the PP10014 band. Is it that this petition we signed didn’t catch his attention? I’m really feeling disappointed as visas are expiring already in our passports. Don’t you think we should risk and take the journey, then see what happens when we get to the US?
February 3, 2021 at 05:15
The petition did not reach the required number of signatures before it was taken down by the Whitehouse website changes.
I don’t think you should attempt an entry right now, no.
January 25, 2021 at 09:34
Dear Mr. Bithsimon,
I am a beneficiary of DV 2021 with CN AF2XXX. I tried to access the petition and sign. But I observe that it is no longer available on the site. Does this suggest
1. that that numbers signed are adequate to get the work done?
2. that the petition has already been submitted to the relevant authority at the White House?
3.Is there any way the government can instruct KCC to start sending 2NL and the embassies start to process visa, extend the visa validity period to one (1) instead of six (6) months while we await the lifting of ban for entry to the US in consideration of COVID 19? with this, when there is encouraging sign in the fight against the virus, people can just immigrate to the US. I am of the conviction that if this is done, lot of visa will be saved, people will get visa and the opportunities will not be lost as we see it with DV 2020. What you make of this, sir?
Thanks and best regards
January 25, 2021 at 14:02
1 & 2, the whitehouse site was revamped by the new administration. I am waiting to see if they re-implement the petitions.
3. The lawyers are arguing for that now.
January 23, 2021 at 23:20
Still not available the link!
January 20, 2021 at 17:47
we can’t access the petition.
is this temporary?
January 20, 2021 at 18:22
Yes.
January 20, 2021 at 15:04
Hello Brit,
Can anyone sign the petition? What about illegal people in the USA or people from another countries who are being affected by Trump proclamation?
January 20, 2021 at 15:31
Anyone. From anywhere.
January 17, 2021 at 12:18
Only 17xxx signed yet even though it should be 110,000 (winners only) from DV 2020 and 2021. Sad ?
January 19, 2021 at 17:32
Sad indeed…I’m afraid a great part of the winners do not know what’s really going on, the other reason might be that a lot less people are interested in moving to the USA during these “covid” years.

Gracias mil Britt. Cuides mucho.
January 15, 2021 at 18:02
Ok Britt Gracias.
January 15, 2021 at 18:15
January 15, 2021 at 00:26
Hello Brit please I have a question to ask.
1. Is the travel ban for all countries or is for only the European countries because I called the US customs and border protection for enquiry about travelling to the US and they told me the ban is for only the European countries and also that if u have DV immigrant visa u can enter the US but if u are coming from an European country u can’t enter.
2. We also showed our visas to the airline and they said we can travel with it because the Annotations on the visas was ENTRY NOT SUBJECT TO PP 10014
January 15, 2021 at 17:25
1. The ban (PP10014) covers all countries. There is another ban which affects travel from certain countries like the Schengen area.
2. I’m suspicious of annotations. Some were just incorrect. So – were your visas re-issued in September after being issued prior to April 23? If so, then yes you could travel. If not, you are impacted by the ban, no matter what the annotation says.
January 15, 2021 at 22:32
Yes it was issued on March 3rd 2020.
January 14, 2021 at 17:03
Hello dear Britt, sorry my English! We need your Help! Two ask for you! I am winner DV 2020 SA24xx send DS-260 as single, remained me the wait of interview by subtracting a few 580 cases. Now marry me, my relationship is of longs date with convincing proofs! Not marry us before because in Cuba say us that was to case of fraud. Now it discovers that it is not! Also obtain a new employment!
1- As sending the documents to KCC of my spouse, for the same email in which send the mine? Or KCC send me new indications?
2- This change of status can affect my possible interview?
Thanks for your work! Please we need your help!
January 15, 2021 at 15:43
1. All communication should be from you and your email quoting your case number.
2. I’m not really sure what is your status. It is too late to add a spouse to a DV2020 case – but I suspect there is some confusion here. Your English is adding to the confusion. Write in Spanish.
January 14, 2021 at 16:17
thanks Sir !

Hello Mr. Brit !
I learned on the France 24 TV channel that from January 26, 2021, the negative test is required to enter the USA.
My question is whether this announcement also concerns us who are DV visa holders and who are ready to enter the USA ?
January 14, 2021 at 03:03
Yes it does.
January 14, 2021 at 09:56
ok thanks Sir !
January 14, 2021 at 10:29
Sir please I have two question :
1 – Does that mean that this announcement will impact the PP100014 and PP100052 proclamations ?
2 – I would like to know if from January 26, we who hold the immigrant visa will be allowed to set foot on American soil ?
January 14, 2021 at 13:24
1. No.
2. I don’t know for sure.
January 10, 2021 at 22:55
hi brit, hope you are doing well.
i am gangant dv 2020, case number 35000, kcc sent me the documents confirmation email.
my daughter’s passport is going to expire next november, so i am going to renew her passport. so my question:
what is the procedure to follow (that I renew it and inform kcc, or only inform the embassy during the interview …..)
note that in my country, when we renew the passport, he gives you the new one and he gets the old one
January 11, 2021 at 19:30
Keep copies/scans of the old one and take the new one to the interview.
January 11, 2021 at 22:18
Thank you brit.
January 10, 2021 at 10:06
Let‘s pray and hope all remained DV2020 cases get a chance throughout the Congress. It‘s been a long damn journey so far…

January 10, 2021 at 17:20

January 10, 2021 at 17:22
RELAX!
January 10, 2021 at 17:52
Great thanks Sir!
January 10, 2021 at 05:07
Hello sir from your recent video I heard made a statement that if your visa was issued to u before April 24th 2020 you are not subject to the ban. And I have two questions to ask.
1. Our visas was issued on March 3rd 2020 and was set to expire on August 4th 2020 so I travelled to the US and my wife couldn’t travelled with me by then so her visa got expired and was reissued to her in September with our baby and the innotation on her visa was ENTRY NOT SUBJECT TO PP 10014. and the baby own was NIE PP on Risk to labor market.
2. Can they travel together or they are also subject to the ban because their flight ticket was booked on the January 19th 2021. Thank you
January 10, 2021 at 17:05
You are not subject to the ban, however there is a lot of confusion about this with airlines, so you would be wise to prepare to explain to the airline why you are not subject to the ban. An email confirmation from the embassy would be best.
January 11, 2021 at 14:15
Hello Brit I contacted the the embassy and the response they gave me was to contact the airline that they will decide who to board their flights, and US customs and border patrol determines who can enter the united states upon arrival. And also waivers and national interest exceptions (NIE) are not available to travelers after a visa has already been issued. NIEs required a new visa application and interview. This is what the embassy of Ghana replied me. Thank you
January 11, 2021 at 19:41
Well speak to the airline, but I guess they will not understand the rules so you will then have to go back to the embassy as I described earlier.
January 11, 2021 at 22:10
I sent the embassy a mail and they referred me to contact our airline and we contacted them and they said they can travel and I also contacted the US customs and border protection and they also said they can come. That the proclamation affects those who had new visa’s prior to the proclamation.
January 10, 2021 at 02:23
Hi Mr. Simon,
please I left out one question:
How will I know that the form sent on the blog enter, thought I saw on the blog that my filled in is being recorded, but want to know if I am going to receive email and but again there’s no email submission on the form, so how do I get this reply?
January 10, 2021 at 04:05
I don’t know.
January 10, 2021 at 01:59
Hi Mr. Simon
Have a question:
(1) please help me clearly understand, I am a Visa holder of DV 2020, does this mean that I am a Plaintiff Of Gomez Case?
because I filled in the form on your youtYou post and I mark yes, where the question say (Are you a Plaintiff of the Aker or Gomez?) yes
(2) I was able to filled in the form with my name only and sumitted our case number becbeca I am the principal applicant, so want to know if I should also fill in for my Husband and our daughter because my husband is Dv2 and our daughter is Dv 3, please your advise!
Thanks ever so much for your tireless efforts.
January 10, 2021 at 03:56
1. Actually, the answer was probably no.
2. Just the DV1
January 9, 2021 at 23:14

Hello BritSimon
Am Mastulah DV 2020 winner
Big thanks goes to you and may the blessings of the Lord be with you because we got our visas due to following your posts and listening to your guidance. It wasn’t easy due to the pandemic and lockdowns we went through a lot but at least we managed to get them by God’s Grace.
Now it’s the ban but i believe it will end soon i know God is on our side and He who started a gd job in us victory belongs to us.
I also sighed in for the petition with all my family members we pray all goes well because have seen the number is rising slowly.
Our visas expire in March.l tried to pay for our greencards but the Visa card was denied I don’t know if it’s because of the ban.l used my husband’s Visa card we went to the bank they unlocked it and told us to pay after 24hours but it was declined again.Have tried several times but its the same that’s why have decided to sake for your advice. What can i do???Can i send the money to someone in the US to pay for me???Please guide me i know you are a gd man.People believe in you 100%.
January 9, 2021 at 15:27
First, your payment was denied because it is not a US based account. However, there is no need and no advantage to paying the fee this early. So – wait. There are efforts being made about extending visas, but I also believe the ban will be removed. So calm down, relax and wait.
