Now the 2NLs have all been sent for May 2019 interviews we need to get scraping. There are a number of cases that would have expected to be scheduled that did not get an interview, which suggests that embassy capacity was met, at least in some embassies. Seeing the 2NL data will give good idea about this and will tell us how many interviews can be scheduled in the remaining 4 months of interviews. We will also see how many came from backlog as opposed to new cases.
Please help with the scraping effort – it is very easy and if everyone spends even an 30 minutes or an hour we would very quickly have all the data. The scraping link is here – https://dvcharts.xarthisius.xyz/scraping.html

April 11, 2019 at 14:42
Records indicate you have submitted a complete and valid DS-260 application for each family member, and you have provided all required documentation to the Kentucky Consular Center. Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing. Interviews for the DV 2019 program will begin in October 2018 and conclude on September 30, 2019
What does that mean? My case has been processed ?
April 11, 2019 at 16:16
Yes. So now you will wait to be scheduled.
April 6, 2019 at 11:51

April 4, 2019 at 08:04
What do u need it for?
April 3, 2019 at 12:13
Hi Brit
I sent my form in October and document in November. I unlocked my Ds-260 for updating in February and submitted after editing in February. My case number is AF19XXX current for may. I don’t know why I didn’t receive my 2NL yet.
1. Could it be the unlocking of my form that could have delayed my interview.
2. Or have they lost my document, could I resend it again?
3. Or have they forgetting about my case number?
Thanks for your reply Brit
April 3, 2019 at 15:43
1. No
2. You could ask them if they are satisfied with your documents.
3. Are you reading my articles? You should.
April 3, 2019 at 19:33
2. I have asked them more than five times and they will give me the same auto reply
3.Yes
April 3, 2019 at 19:54

April 1, 2019 at 14:15
KCC would rarely respond like Brit does. They’re just gonna send u a blog msg(probably the same msg requesting u to submit your doc).
Have u checked if the day u submitted your doc was on a weekend…?
As confused as u may seem…so too is the case with most of us who are supposed to have received our mails but haven’t yet.Hope GOD intervenes in the current DV process and our different cases.

Hi Simon and anyone who reads this comment. Maybe some of you can share how long does it normally take for the KCC to check the submitted documents? I’ve submitted mine on the 28th of March after receiving the request from KCC on the 24th of March, and I’m current in May with EU20XXXX. Should I write to KCC to ask about the status as I haven’t received the email about documents checked, only automated reply. Thank you in advance!
April 1, 2019 at 10:51
1-2 weeks
April 1, 2019 at 13:39
You were too late to be included in May interviews, so possibly you will be in the June batch.
April 1, 2019 at 13:53
Thank you for the reply, I understood it, what about the second question, should I write and ask if everything with my documents is fine? I’m a bit worried as a lot of people were saying it took 1-2 days to check the documents.
April 1, 2019 at 13:56
You were too late for May! So wait.
April 1, 2019 at 13:58
Of course not, in my case i am already current and I’ve sent all documents on 16th March and still not answer. You are alone. I am also EU. I saw also cases from EU, which took 3-5 weeks…
April 1, 2019 at 14:00
You are not alone. I wanted yo sah. Just wait…good luck
April 1, 2019 at 14:06
Thank you so much for all your help and answers! Sorry for sometimes being impatient, I’m a bit nervous..

March 31, 2019 at 16:26
Hey Brit, some one had issues with his passport in that it didn’t have a place of birth and he had sent the same passport for the first stage of document submission, later went back and rectified this but the passport numbers changed and still continued to process for the second stage without realizing this. Will it cause issues with visa issuance or it can even be rectified because the date of interviews has not been given
March 31, 2019 at 16:35
Should not be a problem.
April 1, 2019 at 07:35

March 31, 2019 at 14:03

March 31, 2019 at 08:53
Dear Brit,
I was interviewed on 28th March at Kathmandu embassy Nepal. Embassy suspected on my academic documents and kept my original certificates for the investigation of their truth and originality.
How long may it take to complete the required investigation ? I know the documents are true. Does it have any negative impact on issuing visa ?
March 31, 2019 at 14:01
I dont know how long it will take. They wont issue a visa until they are satisfied.
March 31, 2019 at 07:20
Hi brit
As confused as I am with the current state of affairs…I feel so frustrated.i would please like to know who among the KCC and the US Embassy(of each country),is responsible for distributing these mails?
i-if it is the latter,is it appropriate for me to visit the Embassy and inquire about my 2nl if eventually the 2nd batch of 2nl does not reach me;because I’m among the batch of May interview (201900020xxx)?
March 31, 2019 at 14:00

Good morning,dear sir
I received an email from Kentucky consular center on the 03/08/2019 asking me to provide some documents, what i sent on 03/12/2019 and i received an automatic email telling me that my documents are being processed.
I write to you because so far i have not received my 2NL yet,off my case number is scheduled for interview in may.
I am looking forward to an answer from you. Thanks you.
that’s the message I sent to kcc
“Thank you for your inquiry.
Your DS-260 has been processed. You should have received, or will soon receive, an email from the Kentucky Consular Center giving you instructions to complete in order for your case to continue processing. Please follow the instructions in the email. Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing. Interviews for the DV 2019 program will begin in October 2018 and conclude on September 30, 2019. Please refer to the visa bulletin at http://www.travel.state.gov to locate the current numbers being processed. This bulletin is updated after the 15th day of each month. Once an interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via email to check http://www.dvlottery.state.gov.
In order for the Kentucky Consular Center to assist with inquiries regarding a specific Diversity Visa (DV) case, you must provide the Principal Applicant’s full name, complete case number, and date of birth in the following format (MMDDYYYY) as entered on the original entry. Please remember that the Kentucky Consular Center does not have the authority to tell you whether or not your specific case will be disqualified. Only a consular officer can do that at the time of your visa interview. Do not send any paper documents to the Kentucky Consular Center.”
that’s the answer that kcc sent me,

Hi Brit,
Ref. To the new documents processing procedures, can one send two police clearances if you reside in different country at age 16yrs while now in born country? Or only send the present country residing police clearance?
Thanks,
Joe

March 30, 2019 at 15:32
Hi Birth,
I have asked/ posted this question thrice but no response. Then here is question again: Ref. To the new documents processing procedures, can one send two police clearances. For instance, is you were @ age 16yrs in different country? And now in your residing in your born country. Do you only send your country police clearance you are residing presently.?
March 30, 2019 at 17:06
Actually, you were answered the first time. Then the second time I posted a link to your first question to show you were just wasting my time, and now you seem to be complaining I am ignoring your questions. I will obviously ignore your questions from now on since you obviously don’t bother to read the answers.
March 30, 2019 at 14:57
Hi Brit
My CN is 2019AS77xx and still have not 2NL, I’m current in March for May’s interview, any advise please?

Have you sent your documents – if so – when?
March 30, 2019 at 15:08
Yes, I sent doc’s 16th Feb and received confirmation 7th march.
March 30, 2019 at 15:11
OK, so it will probably be June. Be patient.
March 30, 2019 at 15:31
So does it mean that all the 2NLs of May are sent? Do you know for sure? Is it okay to wait my 2NL until 2nd or 3rd of April? Is there any chance?
March 30, 2019 at 17:07
You can wait if you want to – that is your choice.
March 30, 2019 at 14:53
