Further to my request yesterday there was a superb response of scraping around 13000 cases and we have a newly updated set of data.
Here are the latest summary numbers from the CEAC data (published on Xarthisius’ site).
Region | Issued | Refused | AP | Ready |
---|---|---|---|---|
AF | 14137 | 4592 | 2940 | 9102 |
AS | 4286 | 2839 | 1066 | 2994 |
EU | 16722 | 1725 | 866 | 3984 |
OC | 600 | 121 | 53 | 319 |
SA | 1146 | 79 | 92 | 402 |
Totals | 36891 | 9356 | 5017 | 16801 |
By moving the date slider bar on the site, we can see the pace of visa issuance, the cases that got scheduled this month and so on.
Now we have the data, lt’s talk about the numbers.
AF region has 14137 visas issued. The quota is about 21500 (including AOS cases) so there are around 7000 visas left. However, as I recently explained, there was a large number of cases scheduled for August (about 2200), and September has at least 1100 more cases scheduled. So – as recently described the scheduled cases is why the visas running out message is happening in AF region. I do expect AF to NOT hit the quota, so there is a good chance for some additional visas to be made available to clearing AP cases in August and September.
EU region has continued to issue at exactly the pace I predicted in early may. The quota for EU (at 50,000 global) is 18300, and at least 300 of those will go to AOS. So – with two months to go, there are probably only around 1300 visas left. As I have explained, cases scheduled for August and September should be safe because visas have been allocated to each case, but EU clearing AP cases from previous months are certainly at risk. It does look like the quota will be allowed to be exceeded somewhat, but there is no guarantee of that. So – we wait and see.
AS region is FAR below its quota. There will be a shortfall, due to the travel ban. It is sad to see these visas being wasted, and especially sad for people affected by Trump’s cruel and moronic travel ban.
OC has added about 60 issued this month. and they will add at least another 70/80 in August. Because OC has a relatively high number of AOS cases, their quota of approximately 800 will be met when we see 710/720 issued in CEAC. That is confirmation of why the final VB saw only a 50 case number increase, and confirmation that there was no redistribution.
SA is a similar story to OC. Everything looks on target to hit the quota in the final two months of process.
Many thanks to all those that performed the scraping – for now we have most of the data we need but we need to keep scraping over the next couple of months.
By the way – unless their technical approach changed, DV2019 cases will not be available in CEAC until January 1, 2019. So – once we have the final DV2018 extract in early October, the scraping won’t be needed until the new year.
August 1, 2018 at 20:17
who gives a shit now? all went pear shaped
August 2, 2018 at 05:31
Yeah man really I wasted my 14 months waiting for nothing in fact when I saw the Selection letter I thought 100% but outcome was deeply Upsetting.
August 8, 2018 at 13:07
Same here. I never thought it was 100% certain but looking at previous years and even Simon’s early predictions for EU, I thought I was pretty safe being EU304XX. Even Simon said in a post where he lowered his EU safe zone to 33,000 that he would be “SHOCKED” if the final cut-off number was ever that low. Well, it ended up being WAAAAAAAAY lower than that, as we all know. Obviously, no fault of Simon at all as he was making a very educated guess based on years of experience. It just goes to show how incredibly f– up this particular year was. Overselected and way under-filled, with no redistribution to make up for the fact that it was so overselected. So, in my opinion, just cruel to a lot of people’s hopes and dreams. Definitely SAD! 🙁
August 1, 2018 at 20:19
Dear simon
My case is in additional administrative processing since the October 2017 . Although my case very clear!
Is it hopeless
I am from Iraq
Please answer
August 1, 2018 at 20:23
I read somewhere that everyone from Iraq and Afghanistan are put into AP for ever.
August 1, 2018 at 20:25
What a stupid thing to say.
August 1, 2018 at 20:28
I hope so…but Americans are full of wrong cliché 🙂
August 1, 2018 at 20:28
I cannot predict the outcome. All you can do is what until September 30.
August 1, 2018 at 20:20
Hi brit, thank you for the update, i want to know my wife is five years older than me will that result into denial ? Once again, thanks.
August 1, 2018 at 20:34
No.
August 1, 2018 at 20:21
Thank you Mrs Simon For this great Job, It’s seemed that The Ap is clearing little by little, In the last Data it was 3037 and now 2940 for AF.
August 1, 2018 at 20:22
haha, welcome to the club! the club of outcasts 🙂
August 1, 2018 at 20:28
Did it ever happen, that somebody went to the interview (CP process, initial appointment, technicaly visas should be allocated) and they told him that they don’t have visas anymore?
Thanks.
August 1, 2018 at 20:38
Yes – but the only cases I know were when a country hit the 7% limit, not to do with quotas.
August 1, 2018 at 20:46
Problem is that the consul gave me AP because of my work previous with the US military
August 1, 2018 at 21:01
haha, did work for them or against?
August 1, 2018 at 21:14
For them ?
August 1, 2018 at 21:14
Ahhh OK. So – they probably had to contact the military for some background, and as you know, the military are not always fast with processing paperwork.
August 1, 2018 at 21:22
yes, they guy worked for them, helped them, but they can’t bother to provide the info from October last year?
August 1, 2018 at 21:39
Sometimes people have aspects of their background that require some level of investigation. As adults we should be able to understand that. Unfortunately, that process can sometimes take longer than the DV period allows. That is sad, but not unreasonable. Is that confusing to you?
August 1, 2018 at 21:41
haha, seen these explanations but only from the guys who got DV visas for nothing!
August 1, 2018 at 21:42
Sorry – I don’t understand what you are trying to say.
August 1, 2018 at 22:01
do you mean this kind of investigations? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Marathon_bombing
yes, job well done! there are tons of the examples of this kind of good checks 🙂
August 1, 2018 at 22:07
What on earth does that have to do with the DV lottery?
August 1, 2018 at 21:48
you are right
August 1, 2018 at 21:52
mate, I feel sorry for you! I thought I got it when I won DV lottery. Actually, the proccess of getting visas is very irrational and absurdy! People doing the viisas are ignorant. They believe that everyone form Iraq is terrorist and from Russia – spy. Forget about it, chances are very very slim…
August 1, 2018 at 22:04
@Max. I know you are upset – and I feel bad about that – but really try and keep your comments sensible. There are nearly 2000 Russians approved this year through DV and Iraq has had over 115 approved.
As I said before – I simply cannot understand why you didn’t realize your education, multiple names, and country would be likely to require some additional scrutiny.
August 3, 2018 at 21:24
So you wanted to migrate to the US for so long and after you got denied the US suddenly became a shitty country that you hate on, for no reason at all. We have a saying in my country ” Don’t spit where you eat “
August 3, 2018 at 21:44
Yup.
August 1, 2018 at 20:59
Hi simon
Iam a dv2018 winner from africa but my case number is 49000 do i have a chance to get an interview
August 1, 2018 at 21:13
No.
August 1, 2018 at 22:10
Mr.Simon, Do you want to scrap more ?
August 1, 2018 at 22:13
Not at the moment – but later this month – yes. Thanks!
August 1, 2018 at 22:12
Hi Brit.
Thanks for this update my case 2018AF22### changed from AP to ready on 19 July after my medicals was submitted and later received an email that my case can not be processed further until September.
I am still waiting and hoping I will get a visa since i was informed by the embassy (LND) on interview day that I have passed the interview and all I needed was my medicals which I was also informed was ok by visa medicals .
It just unfortunate that my medical result delayed for 3 wks for no reason at the visa medicals before submission to the embassy.
I hope I have high chances of getting a visa in September? (Not my case status has changed from AP to ready on 19th july and was updated on 27th of july with no status change)
Thanks in advance for your reply.
August 1, 2018 at 22:16
I have explained my thoughts in the article above and https://britsimonsays.com/dv2018-visas-running-out/
All you can do now is hope.
August 1, 2018 at 22:34
Thanks Brit. This really makes sense. Fingers crossed ☺
August 1, 2018 at 22:18
@BritSimon, it is slightly off topic but in that example two terrorist got visas to the USA. Just to show that existing checking system is not efficient at all…
August 1, 2018 at 22:28
Another idiotic point, it doesn’t show anything at all. The Boston bombers were young children when they came to the USA.
I think it’s time to change your username.
August 1, 2018 at 22:33
well, hopefully you feel better now…
August 1, 2018 at 22:34
I feel fine thanks!
August 1, 2018 at 23:32
Brit all AF adminstrative processing case is hope
August 1, 2018 at 23:39
Hopeless
August 1, 2018 at 23:39
Britin dv 2018 all AF Adminstration Processing case in any months is hopfully
August 2, 2018 at 00:02
All AP cases can do is wait and see.
August 1, 2018 at 23:43
Hi simon .i am from Africa (Algeria) and my case numbers is 43000 ,do I have a chance to get in interview?
August 2, 2018 at 00:01
If that is a DV2018 case, no.
August 2, 2018 at 01:05
Mister brit, is still any chance for EU 26300 (dv2018)
August 2, 2018 at 02:10
No. The final VB has been published.
August 2, 2018 at 01:06
Dear Simon
Thank you firstly for answer;
I have a question please, people with case number more than 39500 who will not pass the interview in 2018 if they reapply for the DV2020 they will be automatically reselected ?
waiting for your answer, Please accept, the assurances of my highest esteem.
August 2, 2018 at 02:10
No. Each lottery is a random selection.
August 2, 2018 at 03:02
Hi Simon I was not selected but when will be the next entry I try my luck again thank you
August 2, 2018 at 05:10
I am from ethiopia I got married on july after my visa approval.we delayed our marriage because my wife is gonna finish her degree program next year, but she found out that now she can finish her remaining courses online, now I am in usa and i am thinking about applying for her is that possible and does it have any problem?
August 2, 2018 at 13:52
Yes it’s possible – but I don’t answer questions about that process (as it is not DV).
August 2, 2018 at 05:21
Sir,as region very low visas according this chart kcc want to this visas redestbuite for as region not waste sorry sir my english is weak
August 2, 2018 at 13:52
It is too late for that.
August 2, 2018 at 06:08
5000+ visas are burning Brit…this is not justice
August 2, 2018 at 13:55
“Justice”? It’s a lottery.
August 2, 2018 at 09:56
I know someone who got a 2NL early in June and her CN was 52150 in AF region
how can you explain that?
August 2, 2018 at 14:03
That is not a mystery – the region was made current for August interviews, then retrogressed. I wrote about that.
August 2, 2018 at 10:25
Dear Brit,
Regarding my case, My interview will after a week in Egypt, I found out that the position title in my wife passport is different from the position written in DS-260 in both her form & me as well as her graduation month is different, instead of Sep, I wrote June but within the same year.
I also have renewed all my family passports due to expiration and address located in USA.
Shall I inform them about my wife difference in position and graduation month before interview whereas I am the main applicant?
Appreciated to your prompt response.
August 2, 2018 at 14:04
No need to say anything about that.
August 2, 2018 at 10:27
Ohh, I forget to tell you that Will these changes drive me to administrative procedures? How could I avoid this administrative procedures?
Thanks in adavnce.
August 2, 2018 at 14:04
Relax.
August 2, 2018 at 12:00
Hi brit please i have a slight problem my date of birth is 1991 and all the papers i sent to the embassy was 1991 my interview is on 19 sep. The problem is that in the “Extrait d’acte de naissance” which is the paper of date of birth given by the authorities etat civil / persnal details ) i have 1990. The question. Is it a must for me go fix it or they don’t give that too much attention to that? Knowing that it’s time consuming to fix it now ?
Thanks
August 2, 2018 at 14:06
Your DS260 and birth cert should match.
August 2, 2018 at 13:11
Is it possible I will be called for interview as my case number 1s 22000 from Africa but i processed my information in CEAC Domain by first week of July 2018.
August 2, 2018 at 14:08
Your number is useless without showing the year/region.
August 2, 2018 at 14:42
Hi Brit,
Correct me if I’m wrong in reading/understanding this – so when you said there’d be a shortfall for Asia, you were trying to say that there’s still a lot of Visas available for Asia, but a lot of these will be wasted/unused in the end because many from the banned countries wouldn’t be eligible for the Visas? And so those from the non-banned Asian countries won’t have to worry about Visas running out for them, because again, there’s still a lot of available Visas (for Asia)?
Thanks!
August 2, 2018 at 15:20
Yes, that is what I have already explained to you. But, the question for you to ask the IO is whether the IVAMS system has availability by region. If so, there is no doubt that there are visas available for AS region.
August 2, 2018 at 15:23
Cool, thanks much, Simon!
Yes, I’ll definitely bring up about the IVAMS in my InfoPass Appt.
August 2, 2018 at 15:25
From my understanding that is the main reason your are going there. Your case is otherwise finished – correct?
August 2, 2018 at 15:30
Yup, I’m almost there. Interview was done, it went well (at least, that’s how I feel) and the IO said the interview part’s over, and he’ll review everything again.
If there are no issues at all with Visa Availability for Asia, then I think the only thing that may slow this down is the wrong I-693 version used by the Civil Surgeon. But again, the IO said that he’d look to see if I’d need to re-submit the latest version/not. Haven’t heard back from him yet about this.
Will ask about Visa Availability on IVAMS and about the I-693 on Monday.
August 2, 2018 at 17:27
Why not get the physician to redo the I-693 proactively anyway???? Then take that to the interview and remove the question. Really – you need to get ahead of this.
August 2, 2018 at 17:49
No, we found out that the I-693’s wrong only during the interview. So right after the interview, I called my Civil Surgeon and had her take care of it. I now have the new I-693. All I’m waiting now is for the IO to tell me if he’ll need it or not. I can definitely bring it to InfoPass as well on Monday, but the question is, do I submit it during InfoPass or it’s better for me to wait for RFE from the IO?
August 2, 2018 at 17:56
Offer it proactively. The IO can decide whether to use the new or old form. Either way – it’s one less roadblock removed so that you can then go for the close – i.e. checking IVAMS.
August 2, 2018 at 19:15
Yes, I’ll offer it definitely on Monday. Hopefully I’ll get a nice InfoPass Officer again this time.
August 2, 2018 at 19:19
Forget “nice” – knowledgable is what you want. Don’t leave until you have clear answers to everything. Prepare well. The officers probably expect an infopass to be over in a few minutes. My own infopass lasted something around an hour while I doggedly drilled down into the issues. I I had not done that, there was a real chance I would have lost my own GC. The infopass is your opportunity to take control – don’t waste it.
August 2, 2018 at 19:22
Gotcha, I’ll do that!
Thanks, Simon.
August 2, 2018 at 16:35
Hi Brit,
First time to post in this great threat.
I am from AF region with No 23xxx.
I did my interview inside US (AOS) last July 25th, it was went smooth and easy.
As I am on pending asylum status the IO told me he requested my asylum file to have all document he needs.
The file was received yesterday morning to the field office and I am waiting to hear back soon from the IO.
But I am little bit concerned about visas running out for AF region that may lead the officer to issue his decision based on that upon checking visas availability.
I contacted with KCC and they informed me they have no any idea how is the process goes with USCIS but they confirmed there will be available visas at some point because not all selectees will have their visas due to refusals.
What I can expect from this scenario.
Please your opinion.
Thanks
August 2, 2018 at 17:30
My opinion is clearly described in the article above.
August 2, 2018 at 17:47
I am clearly understood the article, but what i am wondering and concerning about is my AOS petition and possibility for IO to find some visas available this time to be issued and approved.
August 2, 2018 at 17:56
AOS cases are in the same position as AP – so – the article covers it.
August 2, 2018 at 19:54
Unfortunately i am still missunderstanding some part about how they are dealing with the AP and AOers.is that means a good sign or not.
Sorry for flooding many questions but you can’t imagine how bad I feel after this long waiting and money spent on this and ended by this situation, however the case number I have is in the warm place
August 2, 2018 at 20:13
AOS cases don’t have a visa allocated to them until the final decision is made. If there is no visa available at that time, the AOS case cannot be approved. What is still confusing to you?
August 2, 2018 at 19:47
Please is here anyone who have been banned from going further because of some problems in the medical test if yes what was it??
August 2, 2018 at 19:49
Read the FAQ for medical reasons for denial.
August 2, 2018 at 20:13
Could give me the link please
August 2, 2018 at 20:16
Look at the top of the page. FAQ. Click.
August 2, 2018 at 20:58
Hi Brit
If we supposed all Ap cleared that will not happens I guess, and added those cases schedulled for Aug and Sept, will we hit the quota in AF or it will be not enough else
August 2, 2018 at 22:08
I don’t understand your question.
August 2, 2018 at 23:09
Hi brit , my wife won 2018 but during the add the we were ask to scan our wedding certificate so she could add me. But our weeding certificate issuance date is April 2018 while our weeding took place on feb 2017. We couldn’t get the certificate because we never had money. Now I’m hearing the the CO denied my friend on ground that his certificate issuance knowing fully well the certificate is legitimate. My question is during my interview can i do another certificate and make the issuance date the same as my marriage date?
Will it CO consider it instead of the one i scan during the add?
August 2, 2018 at 23:19
I don’t know standards of documentation in your country, nor the attitudes of the COs toward documents. So – I cannot guess the outcome.
August 3, 2018 at 06:28
My country is Liberia, i want to know during interview which marriage certificate is consider the one scan or the hard copy of the original certificate provided. This is my question. Because i have already change the certificate issuance date to my marriage date,
And i wrote kcc imforming them about the error, why doing the add this is why I’m asking if they look at the certificate scan or they take in consideration the issuance date
August 3, 2018 at 13:43
I don’t know.
August 3, 2018 at 13:35
I meant, let’s say everyone in Ap leared, that will not happen I guess, and in addition to the cases schedulled for Aug and Sept, won’t we reach the quota despite all this?
August 3, 2018 at 13:51
My thoughts on that are above.
August 3, 2018 at 04:00
Hi Brit:
I and my wife, two children are DV2019 selectees from Asia. Our No.is AS97OO.
The elder child is 19.He have studied in USA for 3 year.Every year he will back to home country for summer vacation about 3 months.
The younger child will be 16 in October .He have studied in Canada for 1 year.Every year he will back to home country for summer vacation about 2 months.
My question 1 is: Is it necessary for the two children to apply police certificate from USA & Canada for the interview next year?
My question 2 is: Could the two children attend the interview in their home country next year?
Thanks a lot.
August 3, 2018 at 04:50
1. Yes for Canada, not USA
2. They interview with you.
August 3, 2018 at 06:05
Thanks for your reply.
August 3, 2018 at 10:21
Hi brit, what I’m trying to say is that the document that was uploaded during the add will it be the document use during the interview because i have change the date of issuance on my marriage certificate to the date of the date of my marriage. But the marriage date remains constant on both documents.
Please i need your advice ….
Again thanks for your work.
August 3, 2018 at 06:18
Hi Brit.
As you know I am Iranian/Canadian.
I’m still under AP and you know with as duel citizen( Canadian )I have exception.
1-Does the visas run out before end of Sep for AS or do I have chance to 31 Sep?
2-If it is for security check, is timing same as normal AP or faster for the exception citizen?
Thanks so much
August 3, 2018 at 13:13
In the policy of DV for eligible countries , Canada are not eligible for DV and after the banned Iraqi is not Eligible too.
August 3, 2018 at 13:14
Sry I meant Iran not Iraq
August 3, 2018 at 13:50
Iranians are eligible, but affected by the ban.
August 3, 2018 at 13:42
1. There are visas left in AS
2. Still slow.
August 3, 2018 at 18:25
How many visas left and can be available until end of Sep or other region can use it?
August 3, 2018 at 19:28
The article above has the numbers. The only way unused visas can be passed to other regions could be for clearing AP cases, but given the message recently sent, it seems unlikely we will see that happening.
August 3, 2018 at 06:33
hi brith,
my job in my passport is written as self employment but in DS-260 form I indicated that I work as accountant in a private company. will that cause any problem.
Best regards,
August 3, 2018 at 13:44
I don’t see why. You don’t change your passport every time you change your job do you?
August 4, 2018 at 12:54
No, but the date I received my passport I had job. Wont they ask me that why I did not mention my job? If they ask why you did not include your job in your passport how should I answer?.
Best regards.
August 4, 2018 at 13:32
Your DS260 should have your work history. If it doesn’t that should be corrected if you are DV2019. If you are DV2018 it is too late to correct it – and yes they may ask you about why you can’t complete a simple form honestly/accurately.
August 3, 2018 at 10:43
Dear Simon. Just want to say big thanks for all the effort. I’ve got approved. All went well. Good luck to everyone who is still in the race.
Cheers!
August 3, 2018 at 13:47
Great!
August 3, 2018 at 12:46
If it possible that I will be called for interview I am DV lottery winner and my case number is 2018AF000022….,,I input my details within first week of July in the domain of CEAC website. From African precisely Ghana.
August 3, 2018 at 13:49
I think you may be too late. Contact KCC.
August 3, 2018 at 13:20
Hello Brit,
I was dv2018 selectee. Followed each and every post of yours with your all time guidance i.e patience and finally today got my visa.
ECO interviewed me yesterday and issued me visa today. She was very impressed by my educational qualification. I told her about, how you had been a great source of help.
Thank you for your patience, your efforts, your prompt replies and the good work. Keep it up.
August 3, 2018 at 13:51
Congratulations.
August 5, 2018 at 01:52
Thank you Brit.
Respect
August 3, 2018 at 15:03
Dear Simon,
I m a dv 2019 selectee. I submitted my ds 260 in June . Now , I can’ t log in to my ds 260 after the period of maintenance of the site . Please is there any problem with that?
August 3, 2018 at 15:07
Other people are reporting the same thing – wait.
August 3, 2018 at 18:50
Good day sir I have a question do you bring your ds260 printed form with you during interview, as far as I know the answer is no, but you previously told someone to bring that to the interview I just need a clear answer to avoid miscalculation
August 3, 2018 at 19:31
Usually just the confirmation page – but if you are unsure take MORE than you think might be needed.
August 3, 2018 at 21:59
Hello dear
After that scraping do.you think that the people who their visa approved and they in AP now still at risk
Because me i had the interview on 17th July and visa approved AF region and I am still in AP and.I am reallreally worried ,
I.contact the kcc and they said that my case is under process and they cant unclok my Ds , so they told me if.I have any question i have to.contact the embassy
Best regared
August 3, 2018 at 22:07
As I explained above, there should be a chance for cases that clear AP from the AF region.
August 4, 2018 at 12:52
Those prior july still have chance too
August 5, 2018 at 01:28
Hi sir do you want more scraping?

Hi Mr Simon I have just 3questions
1-Did they hit the quota for last year for Af region,
2- If 2940 cases under AP is very high for them to process both interview and clearing Ap
3-how is the % of cleared Ap for Af?

1. No
2. I don’t think so.

I have another question, They said Background check security can take 6 to 9 months?
Is there a special treatment for Dv lottery to expedite Issuance Visa, if we know they are depending on fiscal years contrary to the other cathegory of Visa.
August 5, 2018 at 19:06
Some checks can be done fast, others can’t. Background checks are NOT normally expedited for DV cases – so if a case cannot be cleared by September 30, then that case cannot be approved.
August 5, 2018 at 19:44
I read above a comment on that, I start to agree on what he said, If they cannot process the bacground since october, it means that there is no hope to be get out off it. Those sent to Ap for background will be in Ap For ever.

Some cases are like that – but that is not “normal”.
August 5, 2018 at 17:47
Is it possible that we those in African which we process our information late in the month of July but our case number fall below 39500 and as not now we have not got our interview date can be called for interview before September 2018 will end because African has not reach their quota in this year 2018.
August 5, 2018 at 18:05
I think that is unlikely. Every day that passes makes it less likely.

Hi britt , i am doing AOS , waiting for my decision for last one month….if lets say officer approves me next week what is the likelihood of a visa being available in the system at the time of approval? AF region.

All I know is written above.
August 6, 2018 at 19:47
Hi brit,we are really worried a bout our case and don’t know what is the matter with Afghanistan, such a long delay in AP never seen .
August 7, 2018 at 01:06
Hi Brit,
I have applied AOS and my case is not interviewed yet!
I have done some research in your website and Xarthisius’ website to find out that either for me there will be the problem of visa availability or not, even if I got interview chances in September.
I am from Asia region and from Nepal.
I have already asked you a question for the Asia region in your blog and as well as in Simons forum also. You have replied me Asia region will be shortfall for this year and so that there will not be the problem for Asia region. I am glad to hear that –
Now, I am wondering how about the single country quota. As far as I know no single country may receive more than 7% of the available DVs visa.
From this I understand that one country can have at maximum 3,5000 number of DVs visa in one Fiscal year.
And I have calculated the total number of visas used by the embassy of our country Nepal from Xarthisius’ website where it says “DV2018 CEAC Data for Embassies”. Total 1,742 Dvs visa were used for Nepal. There were the case number upto 8,000 for Nepal and total DVs visa used as per my calculation by adding from Case 1 to 8,000 becomes 1,742.
So, these means Nepal could have maximum 3,500 DVs visa for one Fiscal year but this year only 1,742 Dvs visa were used.
So, conclusion – there are enough visa available to specifically the Country Nepal from Asia region.
My Question:
1) Is my understanding is correct?
Thank you for your time!

No, your numbers are off. The official numbers for Nepal up until the end of June are 2605 issued. July will have added around 300, and August will add 300 more, so there will only be 200 to 300 left for September issuances, and numbers could be close. So – an interview as early as possible would be preferable in your case.

How could i found the visa issuance number for any specific country?
Can we get the updated data please!

Click the link.
August 7, 2018 at 05:42
I have gone through the link – https://dvcharts.xarthisius.xyz/ceacFY18.html
And i type the Kathmandu Embassy Nepal than after i added the total issuance visa number from plot 1-1000 to 7001-8000. My calculation gives me 1,731. So i am wondering that you said up until the end of June 2605 visa were issued.
So, can you please clear it once more!
Really appreciated your help
