Trump has signed the executive order described in my earlier post.
At this moment I don’t have the accurate text of the executive order that was actually signed. It is likely to be according to the draft that was leaked a couple of days ago. However, before thinking about the impacts, it will be important to analyze the precise text of the order.
This will most certainly cause delay to some people from the affected countries. However, it is too soon to say exactly what impact there will be. I sincerely hope that the impacts are few and temporary.

January 28, 2017 at 17:08
Dear Simon, what about 2NL’s? Are people from these seven countries going to receive them in the meantime? What is your opinion on the subject?
January 28, 2017 at 16:57
Greeting from Libya Simon and thanks great man. I am understanding that this ban might be lifted if the governments of affected countries show cooperation and provide information about visa applicants in order to easily identify people who may pose any public threat. Am I right Simon? I hope so. Thanks
January 28, 2017 at 17:10
After the 90 days the ban could be extended based on countries that remain a threat – perhaps meaning those who don’t co-operate. But it is hard to guess what the fool is thinking.
January 28, 2017 at 15:59
Very said thing, some people already sold their homes and quit their jobs and bought their flight tickets. Even packed
What will happen if the DV expires during this 90 days? Any idea?

No. But if the ban is extended and enforced, people will be impacted.
January 28, 2017 at 10:52
Dear Simon,
Greetings
I’m from Sudan and I have a dv visa issued since 19/12/2016. My plan is to travel on 6/2/2017. What should i do now???

You are affected by the order. Right now you cannot travel. You will need to wait a few days to see how this ban is being implemented, but it is likely you will need to change your travel plans.

Hi Simon
How about Iranian GC Holders who are out of USA now ?
They can’t enter US ? They should wait also 90 Days ?
January 28, 2017 at 06:17
I don’t know yet. I am reading early reports of GC holders being denied entry already. That could be inaccurate – it is just too early to know.
January 28, 2017 at 01:39
I’ve heard the 30 day period have been extended to 90 days.
I always thought USA is a better place, but with this guy as a president; I doubt it.
now I have to go through a so called extreme vetting 😀 unbelievable 😀
January 28, 2017 at 02:15
Yes, unfortunately it increased to 90 days 🙁
