Hi Simon, I heard you recommend that re travel ban considerations that as soon as one gets their visa they should activate with their cost.
My question: Does only the main applicant need to activate on USA soil (thereby safeguarding the derivatives as well)? Or would derivatives potentially be at risk should a future travel ban be implemented for their region of chargability if they have not visited to activate?

Where you currently reside is irrelevant. More importantly, why do you have an EU case number? Were you born in an EU country? What is the error you refer to?

Thank you. I am Born in Ethiopia and residing in Ethiopia. I do not have any travel history to Europe. The Error was during the Dv application in an internet business center which may make error while they apply for me .

Then you are 100% certain to be refused if you go to the interview. There is no possible way to be approved. So my advice is to not attend the interview because you will have wasted your money.

In my DS260 my education i sumited degree level, which i was graduated and at that time I didn’t get the certificate and now I asked them to give me my certificate they couldn’t find signed papers. I have all the semester grade papers And KCC also can’t unlock the DS260 since I am current. I have 10th grade and 12 grade certificate .What do you think i should do?

My interview is scheduled for 6th of January. My passport is valid for a few years. However, I want to renew it to update information related to military exemption to avoid any issues when travelling. Do you recommend I change it now and should I updated the DS260 or just go to the interview with the new passport and a copy of the old one? Or just renew it after if I successfully got the visa to be safe and avoid any issues at the interview

I only looked yesterday after the incident to see if there was any knee jerk reaction by the Dept. No update on 2027 as yet either…..
