AS we know the loss of life during the earthquake in Nepal on Saturday is now being measured in the thousands. Tragically, more people will die from earthquake related problems over the coming weeks. Countless more people will be suffering and had their lives altered forever. Some of those will be our fellow DV hopeful and there may be an impact of the earthquake to the process in Nepal – but it is too early to say. For now their main focus will be on more basic needs.
The US embassy has cancelled visa interviews in Nepal until later this week.
For those of us that can offer some financial help I was passed this link for unicef (Thank you Omid) who will be doing what they can to support the Nepalese people in their hour of need. I am making a donation on behalf of my readers and my family. but feel free to join me in offering support.
