As you can see below, embassies are beginning to ask more detailed questions about how DV lottery applicants will avoid public charge concerns. For anyone being interviewed over the coming weeks it is essential that they prepare to answer these questions about how they will support themselves financially, how they will get healthcare and so on.
Someone kindly forwarded the following screenshots of questions being asked by the Algeria US embassy in preparation for an interview. This is confirmation that the government are changing their policies regarding public charge and they will deny more cases on these grounds if people fail to prepare.
