Iran is no longer restricted, and is current along with Asia. Nepal got a surprisingly small increase, and I am very surprised that KDU embassy did not get any June interviews. So &#8211; I am a little concerned what is happening in KDU embassy for Nepal.<\/p>\n<p>Egypt also got badly hit, further pouring on the pain that Cairo embassy is inflicting, refusing to accept anything like a normal number of visas. Shameful behavior frankly, and judging by the VB, the government seem absolutely fine with that decision!<\/p>\n<p>OC and SA regions go current, which is great for them, but of course we still see bizarre behavior from Sydney in particular.<\/p>\n<p>So &#8211; make of this VB what you will. Some will benefit, some will be additionally frustrated.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/britsimonsays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/juneVB.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3339\" src=\"https:\/\/britsimonsays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/juneVB.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1026\" height=\"382\" srcset=\"https:\/\/britsimonsays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/juneVB.jpg 1026w, https:\/\/britsimonsays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/juneVB-300x112.jpg 300w, https:\/\/britsimonsays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/juneVB-1024x381.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/britsimonsays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/juneVB-768x286.jpg 768w, https:\/\/britsimonsays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/juneVB-600x223.jpg 600w, https:\/\/britsimonsays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/juneVB-945x352.jpg 945w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1026px) 100vw, 1026px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Those that are current, and have forms processed early enough, can normally expect their 2NL in the next 2 to 3 weeks from now. The new no documents procedure is still a little unknown, so we will have to wait and see exactly how that goes.\u00a0 This is supposed to be the same every month. VB from the 8th to the 15th of each month, and 2NLs in the second half of the month. For the last few months there have been 2NLs in daily batches. I would normally expect all the interview 2NLs to have all been sent by the end of this month, but we can see recently they are exceeding that to try and get as many interviews in as possible. They can be sent right up until the last day of the month, and even the first few days of the following month during exceptional times.<\/p>\n<p>To those new to looking at VBs, let me explain what the \u201cexcept\u201d XXX country means \u2013 and you can also read this post on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/britsimonsays.com\/read-visa-bulletin\/\">how to read the visa bulletin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Processing is spread out over the full year.\u00a0You can see the progress of the two previous years\u00a0in this post about\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/britsimonsays.com\/dv2019-basic-questions\/\">basic questions<\/a>. \u00a0However, some countries have a high number of selectees and those selectees are concentrated in the lower case numbers. For various reasons, mainly\u00a0to do with embassy capacity, KCC slow down certain countries as compared to the region. So \u2013 in Africa, any case with a case number shown as under the new number can be interviewed but for cases from Egypt, that number is lower. That isn\u2019t a big problem, it just \u201cslows down\u201d those countries a little more than the rest of the region. Since selectees from those countries all have lower case numbers, this slowing down does not present any risk.
