Hi Sofia,
I was born in London, UK but I grew up in Senegal. I then studied in Canada and I now live in New York. I am currently on vacation in Dakar the capital of Senegal so I am writing you from there.
Your dad is a virtual friend of mine who has helPed me and thousand others. He is a very special man, generous, super smart, kind and with a great sense of humor. He treats everyone with a lot of respect and makes a huge difference with the help he gives people. You are so lucky to have him as a dad, you should be very proud! Cheers!
I will happily and heartily donate to your father-daughter bonding project. You have been a beacon of sanity when my neuroses threatened to drive me (and my husband) around the twist as we prepared for our consular interview in Sydney three days ago.
Mind you, the offer to send you a wodge of my special home-made quince paste (AKA Membrillo) still holds. Whilst the tree-house is a wonderful idea, surely you want a treat just for you, no? It is delicious with all varieties of blue cheeses, runny brie and good, tangy cheddar. I refuse to be falsely modest. And should the book make it to the virtual shelves, I will cheerfully promote it/review it on my current blog (dustyvenetian at blogger) and future one (knockmeoutwiththoseamericanthighs at wordpress).

Dear Sofia (awesome name!),
My husband Kevin and I would like to thank you and your mum for the time you could have had with your dad that he has spent helping me and many other people reach our dreams of moving to America. Your dad is very patient and very generous with his advice and his answers.
One very important lesson I have learned in life is that knowledge is only valuable when you can share it with others. Your father has taken his deep knowledge and shared it with many people across the world – this is a wonderful thing and you should be very proud of him.
I have been reading these messages to Sofia – she is LOVING the whole thing – and now there is a pin in our map showing down under. The cheese is a lovely thought – maybe you both can bring it personally sometime!! I hadn’t really thought about a thermometer. I can’t imagine we would ever hit a target – there is a TV show called “Treehouse Masters” which shows what could be done – but I have something much more “modest” in mind.

First of all please accept my most sincere greetings dear Sofia thousand thank you to your dear Father. You have a very nice and very smart father Sofia, moi meme I am proud of him. I can say that it is an idol, because I’m obsessed with knowledge, so I am delighted to read his blog and appreciate his work.

I congratulate your work and hope to be able to do something.
Hello Simon,
My case is AF000447xx. I will go through AOS. Do you think I have a chance getting interviewed by July? Should I start making steps toward my application process; such as Medical Exam or paying $330 per person fees, or should I wait and see how things go in May? If you were me, what would you do? I will appreciate your response.
You will certainly go current – most likely in July. By sending the payment now, and getting the medical done early you will be able to submit your paperwork as soon as the VB that makes you current is published. Having that extra 2 or 3 weeks is worthwhile in my opinion.
Thanks for the hard work and efforts. I am melo facebook masaziza. Once I was hard on u by saying that your analysis was disappinting. Forgive for that. Thanks again
Dear Sofia
You are so great having such a father who is great as well as super hero who help the thousand people around the world and give the right information.

Hi Sofia
You may be very proud of your dad, because of his great and generous implication in that DV Lottery helping job. He helps a lot of people throughout the world, you can’t imagine! What a great dad, for sure! Of course, he spend a lot of extra-time on his computer, instead to play with you, but just imagine how notorious he may be, and how many friends he has in different countries! So, you know, I’m a french writer, and maybe to morrow, thanks to your dad, my books will be published in the USA. Who knows? I’ll send copies to your dad if I get an address, or an ebook, and maybe you’ll have the opportunity both of you to read my stories ! All the best until then for you and your family…

G’day Simon,
I will happily and heartily donate to your father-daughter bonding project.
It’s my best batch – I’ve been making the stuff for a few years now, tweaking the recipe each time…
And should the book make it to the virtual shelves, I will cheerfully promote it/review it on my current blog (dustyvenetian at blogger) and future one (knockmeoutwiththoseamericanthighs at wordpress).
BTW – Where’s the ‘fundraising thermometer?’
Cheers,

Hello Simon & Sofia,
I’ve been living in Canada, but because of a close relative who is about to go through the DV process, I’ve stumbled onto your blog. What an amazing thing you are doing for others! Talk about giving back! Thank you for the current and timely information you are providing to other and your time spent answering questions of those dreaming about their own “American Dream”.
Cheers!
P.S. Now Sofia can add Ottawa, Canada to her map 😉

Hello Sofia,
i’m from Cameroon (West Africa). Although we couldn’t make it (AF 54****), i definitely can confirm that your dad is one amazing man. You are most definitely blessed and the blessings we heap on your daddy’s head will equally be with you always.
Sofia, u will be greater than your dad, you shall never lack, debt is not your portion, you shall go from victory to victor, every disappointment you will encounter will be a blessing in disguise and may God’s grace and favor be upon you and your family all the days of your life. Your barns (or fridge if u like) shall always be full and u will not go hungry.
To Mr Brit:
You will live long, you will live long, you will live long.
Let everyone say a thunderous AMEN!!!
September 3, 2015 at 16:35
Thank you for that lovely message. I will show Sofia where Cameroon is on her map – and she will see how gracious people are, even when they have suffered a disappointment as you have in DV2015. Best of luck to be selected again!
