Please sir, Is my wife case number okay, 2025AF85k
December 4, 2024 at 13:09
It is too early to know for sure. Partly it depends on which embassy you are using.

Hello Simon, my case number is 2025AS23XXX. Is this a risky number? Do I have a chance?
August 18, 2024 at 11:17
It is too early to be sure, but also your embassy allocation might factor into the chances.
August 10, 2024 at 14:28
Hey, Brit Simon I was wondering if I can schedule my interview on another country my case number is 2025ASXXXXX
August 10, 2024 at 15:45
Yes, but they generally expect you will interview where you live.
August 9, 2024 at 08:06
Hi and thank you for taking the time to provide all this useful information.
I’m selected in DV2025 from Asia and my case number is 179XX, Are the chances of this number considered great or what?
August 9, 2024 at 09:00
Should be OK.
August 9, 2024 at 09:04
Thank u Sir
August 8, 2024 at 12:32

Good Day Sir
Is my case number of 2025AF25XXX high or low and do I get the chance for visa processing!
Thank you
July 1, 2024 at 14:57
It’s quite a good number – you should get a chance (assuming you are not at a problematic embassy).
July 1, 2024 at 13:41
Good Day Sir
Is my case number of 2025AF25XXX
Thank you
June 21, 2024 at 11:47
Hey simon, (I hope your throat is okay:) I have two questions If I may, on Xarthisius’s data, you could see that between case number 1 and 2000, the visas issued are 53 and 6 ready, while kenya is at 60k. What does ready 6 mean in cases 1 and 2000? Otherwise, is it in relation to data update, or is there some reason ready still appears in that case number range, for I assume they should be done with them already? 2) When you look at Xarthisius data for 2024, there was a huge leap from 36k to 57k. Why the huge leap? Is it that there were no people in between, or can that happen? Particularly in Nairobi Embassy data
June 21, 2024 at 18:06
1. If a person doesn’t show up for their interview (a no show) their case stays at ready forever.
2. I can’t tell what you are looking at.
June 22, 2024 at 03:20
take a look at 2023 data in the nairobi embassy in Xarthisius Web. There was a leap from case No. 35001-36001 to case No. 57001-58001. My question is: why that leap? Does it mean that in between there were no cases or why was there such a huge gap? Thanks
June 22, 2024 at 09:39
Ahhh, 2023 data. You said 2024.
The high case was scheduled at another embassy and then transferred to NRB. It’s a tactic I have explained previously that has saved some people’s chances.
June 15, 2024 at 17:43
Greetings BritSimon!
I am from Ethiopia. i am one of the selectee of dv 2025 with a case number of 21XXX.
Dear BritSimon, what can you say about this case number. That is, is it a safe number.
June 15, 2024 at 18:47
It is probably OK, yes.
June 15, 2024 at 02:31
Greetings DV 2025AF56 still confused which embassy to go for currently on Abu Dhabi but wanted to transfer to Nairobi. What is your take on that?
June 15, 2024 at 10:07
You are expecting me to predict the future. I can’t do that, but I can tell you that AD will not get to all their cases in DV2024 whereas NRB will.
June 7, 2024 at 04:34
Hi Simon, hope you doing well
I have 2 questions, my case number is 2025AS25xxx is it risky or do I have a chance to be interviewed
And secondly Asia 2021 and 2022 jul,aug and September were currented so is there any chance that this year 2024 and 2025 be current fully
June 7, 2024 at 10:00
It is too soon to know more about case numbers. Whether the region goes current or not depends on how many people are selected, and we don’t know that yet.
June 1, 2024 at 21:03
Hi, Brit Simon, thanks for the information. I am from Ethiopia, my case number is 2025AF27xxx is it high or low?
June 1, 2024 at 22:21
Case numbers in AF go up to around 100k.
June 2, 2024 at 15:57
Again thanks for your information. the DS- 260 form has been submitted on May18, 2024 for the DV 2025 entry. do you think the early submission of DS-260 would contribute for the chance of getting early schedule for interview? Case number 2025AF 27XXX from Ethiopia.
June 2, 2024 at 17:37
You cant be interviewed until your number is current
May 29, 2024 at 13:03

May 24, 2024 at 06:15
Hello Brit,
Thanks for all the info. I’m from a country with no U.S consulate so they automatically made my post to the closest neighboring country with a US consulate. While filling out the form I chose another country in another continent because I plan on being year for the coming year if all goes well. is that ok or can an issue arise from this?
May 24, 2024 at 11:12
It’s OK.
May 17, 2024 at 08:37

Hello sir, My brother won dv 2025, but on initial form he registered 4 names for every child however all their documents have 3 names, now we are wondering if he should consider only the 3 names on the documents when filling the ds-260 form. Kindly advise, thanks
May 14, 2024 at 09:34
Match the DS260 legal name to the birth cert/passport and add the extra name in the “other names” section

Hi there OC27xx number… I consider this to be middle/high range.
I am looking for a bit more data or to see if it is broken down of processing times by region and embassy. can you recommend if any of this dat is out there.
OC region have a large processing contingent in Fiji – reflective of numbers, but was wondering 1. is there variance in processing delays / getting interview, as the above number is close to middle next year for current. 2. I have heard that you have to nominate centre for application through KCC… is this correct, and can it be changed/how easily.
Sorry I have watch a lot of your videos, and just trying to dig the info out more myself.
Hopeful for a 27 win this time around.

Hello Brit, my case number is Eu39xxx. Do you think its too high for a interview? Im preparing myself for not getting a visa. Thanks
May 7, 2024 at 14:43
Always quote year.
For DV2024 that number is very risky.
For DV2025 it is probably risky, but we don’t have selectee numbers yet, so we can’t be sure.
