Depends on your local procedures.

I’ve been accepted for dv lottery 2020, but my birth day in passport and birth certificate is different … what is the solution for this ?
May 13, 2019 at 15:58
One of them is accurate. Figure out which and why you have an inaccurate document, then use some common sense.
May 11, 2019 at 17:15
Is there a deadline for submitting DS260 form ?
May 11, 2019 at 17:18
No – other than the end of the program year (September 2020)

May 11, 2019 at 19:47
Read the instructions for selectees.
May 11, 2019 at 16:15
Is there a specific period to submit the required documents after submit the DS260 form?
May 11, 2019 at 17:01
They email you when they want them. If they don’t email you in time, you may have to submit them proactively. “In time” means according the VB progress.

Hello, I’m registered on DV 2019. As I read in requirements and rules : I was not able to add my suppose as we’re not officially married, I mean with the country law ( that’s mostly normal in Georgia ) and in addition to this I was pregnant when I registered , so I wasn’t able to add information about child. How can I add information about them? Or it’s now useless? / I just tried registration for the first time, and just would be pity If I get a disqualification… Thanks in advance for your replay.
March 2, 2018 at 16:50
**IF** you win, you can add them to your case later.
March 4, 2018 at 14:44
Thank you for your replay. And one more question : The fact that this infrmation is not indicated doesn’t give an immediate diaqualification? So that I have a chance to win it ?
March 4, 2018 at 15:14
You have a chance still.
June 19, 2016 at 18:11
My friend played with different age, now that she had won, she wants to change her age to another age. Is that possible?
June 19, 2016 at 18:14
Ah yes, Time travel. What part of Ghana are you from?
July 27, 2015 at 23:54
I have tried and tried again, even the forgot confirmation link still tells me the information entered is invalid. Don’t know what else to do
July 28, 2015 at 06:58
It sounds like you have other information wrong – there is nothing more you can do.
July 27, 2015 at 23:00
OK Thanks lemme trying n get back to u
July 27, 2015 at 20:38
Oh Sorry! It’s the ESC site am talking about. I have the information handy n I enter it carefully, have been trying for some months now, yet same result. I know few others who have the same complain as me.
July 27, 2015 at 20:43
You can use the forgot confirmation number link on that site to retrieve your confirmation code – that will help if you wrote it incorrectly. Try that.
July 27, 2015 at 15:13
Am probably talking of CEAC data for 2015, the result for which came out in May 2015. They tell me invalid each time I try to get the result
July 27, 2015 at 17:14
You are still not clear what you mean!
The CEAC data is here:-
https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx
Whilst checking the result to see whether you have been chosen or not is here:
https://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ESC
For CEAC, (for people checking their case number) the DV2016 data is not loaded.
For the ESC site, you have to carefully enter the information required.
July 27, 2015 at 00:51
Why is it so difficult to access the schedule 2016 result page, they kept telling me invalid whereas all the info I entered is correct.
July 27, 2015 at 02:37
2016 results page? I’m not sure what you mean by that. If you mean the CEAC data – none of the 2016 data is loaded yet.

Hi
my interview was scheduled on the 7 July 2015. I paid the interview fee for myself, my husband and my but wasn’t granted the interview. The reasons are their names are on the appointment letter but the final page which needs to be printed out for the interview was mistakenly not printed out.
We’ve been asked to print it but don’t know how to get that since that process indicates completed whenever I want to try.
I’m confused, what do I do then?
July 10, 2015 at 18:30
Click on the case and go through the pages one by one – you can print all the pages including the last one.
May 11, 2015 at 12:18
Is there an average time that we should wait for procedure to be completed. I’m asking because I have heard many different stories, such as the minimum waiting time is a year, etc! How possible do you think is a selectee to be selected, and what are the things of importance they should be taken into seriously account in order to be eligible to travel US? What stage is the most important?
May 11, 2015 at 13:57
Timing of processing is controlled (mainly) by the case number, and partially by the date of DS260 submission. Cases are interviewed in case number order unless someone delays their own case by submitting their DS260 late.
No cases will be interviewed befor October 1 and some will be as late as September 30, 2016. Cases will be spread over that whole year – as I said, according to case number.
May 14, 2015 at 16:19
Dear Simon, we now face a problem! At the first entry we’ve made we have written our zip code wrong. What can be done in this case? Is it so serious? Please answer to my question. We are about to fill in the second aplication form and we don’t know what to do?
May 14, 2015 at 19:21
NO that is not serious. Make sure it is accurate on the DS260 and relax.
May 14, 2015 at 19:30
Thank you Simon. Your assistance is really helpful and relaxinggg what is better to do, declaring the education paper or the previous work experience?
May 14, 2015 at 19:35
education is much simpler and clear.
May 9, 2015 at 15:14
Well, my husband was chosen, and his confirmation number is EU……and in the end has only 4 numbers! The numbers before those are 0000. What do you think? And one more question, how long does the procedure take?
May 9, 2015 at 20:50
That number is normal.
The process varies based on the case number range ….
May 10, 2015 at 11:36
Thank your for your clear and prompt answer! Please be kind answering to this question. Do you have any idea about the medical examination? I mean, if someone does not have all his vaccinations completed or does not have at all the vaccine “book” how important role does it play and what should be done?
May 10, 2015 at 13:57
That is no issue, the physician will decide what vaccinations are needed and will administer whatever is necessary.
