I only answer DV lottery questions.
February 10, 2020 at 08:10
dvlottery Exempt, by statute, as
they are not listed in INA
212(a)(4) as a category
that requires Form I-864.
Diversity visas are issued
under INA 203(c) which
do not fall under INA
212(a)(4)(C) or (D).can you explain that to me please.
February 10, 2020 at 19:02
I have no context.
February 10, 2020 at 20:54
I am talking about public charge effects
February 10, 2020 at 20:55
I heard that if we fill in ds260 before Feb 24 public charge will not effect us
February 10, 2020 at 21:28
That is not correct.
If you are processing a DV case outside of the USA you will need to satisfy the public charge concern, BUT the PC changes that were recently put in place may not affect you (assuming you never have accessed those public assistance programs.
February 10, 2020 at 23:23
When I told you effected I mean at the interview is the officer going to ask me about bank accounts or properties I have to show him that I will not be a public charge.

ALERT: USCIS will implement the Inadmissibility on Public Charge Grounds final rule on Feb. 24, 2020, except in Illinois, where the rule remains enjoined by a federal court (as of Feb. 5, 2020). If the injunction in Illinois is lifted, USCIS will provide additional public guidance. The final rule will apply only to applications and petitions postmarked (or if applicable, submitted electronically) on or after Feb. 24, 2020. For applications and petitions sent by commercial courier (such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL), the postmark date is the date reflected on the courier receipt. When determining whether an alien is likely to become a public charge at any time in the future, DHS will not consider an alien’s application for, certification or approval to receive, or receipt of certain non-cash public benefits before Feb. 24, 2020. Similarly, when determining whether the public benefits condition applies to applications or petitions for extension of stay or change of status, USCIS will only consider public benefits received on or after Feb. 24, 2020
February 10, 2020 at 08:35
hi brti
that you a are doing is really a priceless and very much help full for dv Winners. SO why dont you so a video about new public charge rule which is approved in usa supreme court. that would be more helpful for dv applicants and winners who plan to migrate to usa

February 10, 2020 at 09:26
Hi Britsimon,
CN 2020AF53***
Do i hope for an interview this summer? Can I consider my case number as high? your thoughts please,
February 10, 2020 at 19:06
That case number is not to high. So, yes – this summer.
February 12, 2020 at 19:06
Hi Britsimon,
CN 2020EU49xxx
What do you think about my case number?
Do i have any chance for an interview?
Also I applied for dv lottery 2021. Is there any problem?
February 12, 2020 at 21:54
It’s quite a high number so you simply have to wait and see what happens.
No problem that you applied for DV2021.
February 10, 2020 at 10:51
hi Britsi
i want to know if i can change the name of someone i play the dv with. i mean the person first name.
February 10, 2020 at 19:06
I would need more info to answer.
February 10, 2020 at 11:36
Hello Simon
I trust this finds you well. I need your opinion on two issues:
Do laminated documents such as academic certificates pose a problem during visa interviews?
Second, have you had inquiries or interview experiences from transgender persons and how to handle discrepancies in their names and gender markers in different documents e.g. birth certificates vs passports? I’ve tried finding interview experiences in relating to gender change in your website with no success.
February 10, 2020 at 19:17
1. That might cause a problem in some embassies – I don’t know for sure.
2. Any name change would need to be supported by complete documentation – showing the legal process that achieved the name change.
February 10, 2020 at 12:05
Hi Simon
dv2020EU39xxx
I’ll move next week, do you think I should ask to get the ds260 unlocked and update address or can this be done at the interview. Could it cause delay to unlock now or am I still too far away from being current?
Thank you!
February 10, 2020 at 19:18
You can update now with no delay.
February 10, 2020 at 12:07
Hi Brit,
We’r case# 2020AS00004xxx, interview scheduled in March 2020. Following are my questions:
We do not have any family or friends who would provide Affidavit of Support. We are a Family of 4. We do have some savings. Do we need to provide both Affidavit of support I-134 and bank statement or either one?
2- Is USD $25000 in bank account sufficient? If not, How much?
Regards…
A.S

Good day Brit,
Kindly help me with this one;
1. The insurance policy of my sponsor residing in America does it also covers me as well, been that he is the one providing accommodation for me.
2. I should find an insurance policy on my own before the expected interview date in April or either i will use the I-134 because it has an insurance from sponsor.
Thanks
February 10, 2020 at 19:20
1. No.
2. No need while the healthcare proclamation is blocked.
February 10, 2020 at 17:59
Hello Simon,
The passport I used to apply got lost. And on top of that my country has ordered everyone to get new e-passports. (we were on the older format) So should I be picked. Is it okay to change to the new passport I am getting? Or will that be somethingtthat can disqualify me? I can provide proof of the old passport. Thanks for all you.
February 10, 2020 at 19:25
You haven’t given me any context. Are you a DV2020 winner?
February 12, 2020 at 10:07
No I applied for DV2021. Will this be something that could disqualify me if I am chosen? Should I just apply again this year and forget about the previous entry?
February 12, 2020 at 20:58
Your chance of selection is about once in 200 years. If you win, ask then.
February 10, 2020 at 19:56
Hi sir
Please sir i applied for the 2021 dv and am not living in my home country, so i want to ask that would it be necessary for me to go back home for my interview or i can go for the interview at where i am now in case i win the lottery
February 10, 2020 at 20:43
You interview in the current country of residence.
Don’t put too much time into thinking about this – it’s a lottery with a small chance of selection.
February 10, 2020 at 20:13
Hi Do you know about I-944?? Now I am really confused..I’m doing AOS and I’m preparing I-134 but they don’t need this anymore afterFeb24 2020??

Hi Simon, I have a questions. I was born in Lithuania but most of my life I live in Germany I am also german citizen and I don’t have Lithuanian citizenship anymore. My birth certificate is in Lithuania language. My appointment for an interview will be Frankfurt Germany. Can I translate birth certificate into German language or must be English. I need to send my support documents?
Thank you
February 10, 2020 at 22:41
You can translate it to German or English – but given that you are moving to the USA, English would be better!
You should take financial support documents to the interview.
February 10, 2020 at 22:54
Hi thank you Simon, financial support documents its not a problem. When I send my civil documents to kcc should i send an original Lithuanian birth-certificate copy with translated or only certified translated German birth certificate is enough?
Thank so much,
Kind Regards, Donata
February 11, 2020 at 00:16
Original + copy
translation + copy
February 11, 2020 at 00:07
Hi Brit I have heard that if you are a refugee from one of the banned countries that you become exempt from the travel ban. Is it true. Cheers
February 11, 2020 at 00:28
I think that is being mixed up. People have jumped to an invalid conclusion because the proclamation discusses an exemption for refugees. ***BUT*** here is what the law states:
“This proclamation shall not apply to an individual who has been granted asylum by the United States, to a refugee who has already been admitted to the United States, or to an individual granted withholding of removal or protection under the Convention Against Torture. Nothing in this proclamation shall be construed to limit the ability of an individual to seek asylum, refugee status, withholding of removal, or protection under the Convention Against Torture, consistent with the laws of the United States.”
So, yes refugees already in the USA are exempt – but then those people would be exempt anyway by being in the USA. So – this does NOT give an exemption to a refugee from a banned country that is currently in a another country.
February 11, 2020 at 00:26
Very confusing. If I scanned original and I will scan certificated translation what does it mean original +copy and translation +copy
February 11, 2020 at 00:38
This should be clear from reading the instructions. You take copies of documents to give them because they will not give your originals back. Read the instructions.
February 11, 2020 at 00:47
Hi Simon, yes I do understand that, but I am talking about sanding civil documents to kcc?
Should I send certificated translation scanned along with scanned original or only translated copy is enough
Thank you
February 11, 2020 at 01:03
That is specifically described in the letter asking for documents!
February 11, 2020 at 05:24
HI Simon, it does not described specifically its says “All documents not in English, or in the official language of the country in which the application for a visa is being made, must be accompanied by certified translations. I am German and I have my Lithuanian birth certificated translated by certified translator to German language. Is that ok to send or should i translate to english?
February 11, 2020 at 17:26
Oh my.
“or in the official language of the country in which the application for a visa is being made”
Says it all if you read it.
February 11, 2020 at 02:36
Hi Brit,
I was wondering when heading over to the U.S on our activation trip – we will be coming back to Australia after this – do you still an ESTA visa when travelling for the activation trip? Thank you so much for your help!
February 11, 2020 at 03:00
ESTA is the *visa waiver* program. So – given that you have a visa for the activation trip – the answer is no.
February 11, 2020 at 03:44
Hi BritSimon
May good bless you for your help.
I was current for March interview but too late on documents which means April interview.
On the end of the month of January I unlocked my DS260 to answer the new questions about travel history.
Do you think it’s going to cause a delay and therefore not being scheduled for April?
Thanks so much
February 11, 2020 at 04:04
No. BUT whether they have processed your documents or not is critical.
February 11, 2020 at 05:03
Hey Brit,
Hope everything is well.
Case # 2020EU24XXX
Sent all the documents on Nov. 8th and got the automatic reply: “The Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) has received your email and is currently processing your documents..”
Sent them again on Jan. 20th and got another reply: “After sending documents to [email protected], you will receive an automatic reply to your email. If there are no attachments, the auto reply explains there are no documents attached to the email. If there are attachments, the auto reply explains we received your email and are currently processing your documents..”
Followed on Jan 23rd by the same: “The Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) has received your email and is currently processing your documents…”
I have called a couple times last week, and they said that they have processed my DS260 but not my documents yet, and no additional info were available.
1 Do you think I’ll still be able to get an interview in April?
2 Should I send them again or keep calling?
Thank you so much for your time,
Leo
February 11, 2020 at 05:29
I had the same answer from them as well and all my documents were sent in specific order as requested. One of my friend received the same answer as well. Maybe we need to wait
February 11, 2020 at 17:25
Hi Leo.
1. The email they sent on Jan 23rd is important to know they at least are processing them. Of course it is hard to say exactly when they will finish, but if they finish before the end of February (which should be possible), then yes you would probably get an interview in April. However, it is clear there was a large EU backlog of cases 14k to 21K that did not have documents processed, and those will take the majority of interview slots next month. At some point we could see a slow down in VB progression.
2. No need at the moment – let them do their work.
February 11, 2020 at 13:29
Hi Simon,
After half a year do u think 39K is safe?
Thank,
AZ
February 11, 2020 at 13:30

February 11, 2020 at 16:41
Hey Birth, now I am in USA and i waiting for my green card, my question is when I get my green card i will be able to go out of USA for 2 week ? Is there any problem because i will not stay in USA for 6 mounth ?
February 11, 2020 at 19:20
No problem. Please read the FAQ about absences.
February 11, 2020 at 17:02
Hello Brit, I’m a DV 2020 winner case number AF77** my interview is next month. The name I play with and on my passport is Jessica O. Matthews, But my School documents carry Jessica Matthew.
No “S”on the Matthew. Is there any problem about that when I present those Documents at the interview?
February 11, 2020 at 19:21
Normally not a problem as long as there are no fraud concerns.
February 12, 2020 at 17:56
Wow AF77*** & your interview is next month
Your CN is not current or it is a typo?
February 11, 2020 at 19:13
Hello Brit,
I would like to add a police certificate from a foreign country to the documents I already sent to KCC at the end of October 2019. The documents haven’t been processed so far.
Do you think I should send them an email with all the requested documents again or just the police certificate?
Thanks a lot for your answer.
Best,
Martin
February 11, 2020 at 19:24
Send everything – a whole new package – and check it very carefully to make sure the package is complete.
February 11, 2020 at 21:08
Please, am really worried about something. During the first entry I wrote my home town instead of place of birth mistakenly. My home town is a twin town, that is two towns joined together. For example ,Konongo-Odumase and I was born at Konongo .I made the correction on the ds260 form. I want to know if this can cause a problem during the interview
February 11, 2020 at 22:20
As long as that is in one country its no problem.
February 11, 2020 at 20:19
Hello Sir
I am out. From US for almost 5 month and half and that was my first landing since i had landed last sep , does I will face difficult questions in airport such why i have been all these months outside and what the ideal answer can i say i am still doing my settlements abroad ?
February 11, 2020 at 22:18
It should not be a problem.
February 11, 2020 at 20:51
Hi Brit, This website has proven to be the most extraordinary resource, so Thankyou!
My partner & I have recently submitted our DS260. (One week ago) We have collated all our supporting documents however I’m awaiting my police check to come through- (as I have a very common name).
Would u recommend submitting all documents along w a confirmation email that says my police check is on its way, or, am I better to wait till it comes through so I can send everything together?
We have a very low number and are wanting to give ourselves the optimal chance!
Many thanks
Mark and Sam
February 11, 2020 at 22:19
No you have to wait until you have the complete pckage ready – then send it all together. Check it, double check and triple check.
February 11, 2020 at 21:13
Hi Brit,
I have one of the second to last number for OC region. I have submitted my DS260 2weeks ago but not yet the documents. Still waiting for Police report from my country of nationality. Now the funny thing is that l already received email from KCC last year Oct regarding documents procedure.
Today again, I got an email from KCC saying that my doc is not in order or haven’t sent all the required papers. The email is from KCC to KCC but my email address is not in the address bar and still I received the email. I am good with computers but this is the first time l saw something like this.
1. Do you recon it’s fake.
2. Have you come across anyone else with similar email.
3. Or do you think KCC has process my DS260 and now asking for doc.
February 11, 2020 at 22:21
1. No
2. Yes
3. Do as you have been told.
February 12, 2020 at 05:32
Hi Brit,
I have received similar email from KCC to KCC today indicating that I have not submitted my documents and asking to proceed as instruction. However, I have submitted the documents to the correct email address and as per the instruction 10 days ago on Feb 01. Today, I re-checked the instruction again and forwarded my documents to them. Also, I asked them to let me know of any missing paper as I could not find any. I have a concern as my case will be current for April and I am not sure if any doc is missing or if they have received my documents. After I submitted my documents, I did not receive any auto reply (not that day and not today). May this be because of submitting the files through my yahoo email? Any advice in this regard is appreciated.
Thanks

Hey Saad
I am a winner from Saudi too!
I got the diploma attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (35 SAR!). I believe that’s the safest thing to do, and there is no need for any translation since it’s in both English & Arabic..

Could u share your email address or any contact so we can discuss
February 12, 2020 at 21:50

Hi Simon,
Hope you are doing well.
I have a question,I received a questionnaire for Abu Dhabi US embassy after our interview,I would like to know should I fill this questionnaire for me and my spouse or only the main applicant?
February 12, 2020 at 08:08
Hello Tasnem,
I’m also dv lottery winner based on abu Dhabi.
1) Can we communicate because I have some concerns?
2) do you mean by Questionnaire that you got farther Administration Processes or something else?
Best wishes.
February 12, 2020 at 17:06
I don’t know. Read the instructions that came with the questionnaire.
February 11, 2020 at 22:08
Hello Brit
In case of transferring the case from one embassy to another, is it mandatory to do medical examination in the country you want to transfer?
I am from Iraq, the embassy here has been closed, I want to transfer my case to Jordan, can I do the medical examinations here in Iraq in stead of Jordan?
Regards . . .
February 11, 2020 at 22:27
You do them at the physician that the interviewing embassy elects. So – in Jordan.
February 11, 2020 at 22:24
Hello Brit,
Kcc has emailed for the required document but I want to no the number of days it can take for me to send the required
February 11, 2020 at 22:40
That is something you control!
February 11, 2020 at 22:43
Hi Brit
I personally I’m very grateful for this initiative.
I have been following most of your post and comments.
I am 2020AF59+++ and a family of 5
I want to unlock DS260 to update our passports numbers and also to answer the social media section, because at the time we submitted, social media has not been added
My question is. How do I ask for the ds260 to be unlooked. Do I send a single mail to kcc with all our 5 names under this case number.
The last question. Please what do you think of the safety of this case number af202059+++
Thank you very much

Hi Brit,
I am from Sri Lanka, the CN is AS28***. I didn’t submit my documents yet, as the police certificate gets expired in 6 months. I thought of submitting all in March due to the above and as I am having a high case number.
Today I have received the below email from KCC, and kindly let me know will that be a problem for me if I submit this in mid – May.
Thank you for submitting your Diversity Visa documents to the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC). After reviewing your documents, KCC has determined that you have not sent the required documents for review. Please review the required documents listed below and verify that you have submitted all required documents.
If you have questions about required documents, please go to U.S. Visa: Reciprocity and Civil Documents by Country and select the country that issued your civil document(s). If a required document is unavailable per the country-specific guidelines, you do not need to submit them to KCC. However, if you cannot obtain a required document for another reason, you must submit a detailed written explanation to KCC when you submit your other documents. Failure to obtain all required documents will delay your case.
You will only be scheduled for interview at an overseas consular post after you have submitted all documents required.
“AND THE OTHER CONTENT WAS THE DOCUMENT SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS EMAIL, I JUST CROPPED THOSE AS EMAIL IS BIT LENGTHY”
Best Regards,
February 12, 2020 at 00:24
Mid May is too risky.
February 12, 2020 at 02:05
Sorry, this should be corrected as mid-March.
February 11, 2020 at 23:32
Hi Brit Simon,
Sorry to bother you with questions every now and then.
CN 2020AS92XX, onset of getting current (will get published in coming VB, hopefully). This early morning (in Nepal) I received the email mentioning that I haven’t sent them the required documents to review.
On Nov 13, I sent our (with my spouse and son) civil documents (birth certificates-3, passport biographic page-3, marriage certificate-1 and police report-1) all together 9 attachments.
I think these were the complete documents they needed.
On Nov 13, I received automatic reply of receiving these documents.
On Nov 21, I received ‘Documents received’ formal email from KCC DV
What could be the reason that the same email is sent to me again?
Shall I sent my documents again? Will it delay our case?
February 12, 2020 at 00:27
Their email means you have not sent all the needed documents. Review the instructions, check what you sent and resubmit.
February 12, 2020 at 04:00
Thanks,
I checked the instruction. They asked for birth certificates (for 3 of us), Passport biographic page (for 3 of us), police report (for 2 of us as our son is just 5 yrs old) and our marriage registration certificate (1). I submitted these all 9 documents. There is no need for marriage termination documentation and we don’t have any military records. I thought these were enough documents. Are we missing any? Please suggest.
Now I remember, KCC didn’t send us email for document submission, I made the inquiry and they asked me to send the document. Is there any chance, this email is what they had to send earlier and it came to us now?
February 12, 2020 at 04:02
However, I have sent these document to [email protected] again this morning.
February 12, 2020 at 05:00
Translations?
February 12, 2020 at 11:03
Our documents are mostly in English and some are in both languages, English and Nepali. I hope no translations are needed for such documents. I can email you those documents, if you want to look at these.

February 13, 2020 at 15:28
Thanks Brit Simon for your valuable advice. To make sure, I submitted all the documents again. They confirmed with the same message I got earlier – “Congratulations! Our records indicate that you have submitted all required documentation to the Kentucky Consular Center and are ready to be scheduled for an interview when your case number becomes current. Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing.”
You know how they reply. I hope everything will be fine.
Thanks once again.

Hi BritSimon,
After submitting my unlocked and updated DS20 (EU39xxx) last week, this afternoon KCC sent me an email requiring the civil documents, that I’m going to send as soon as possible.
Here’s the first paragraph of the email:
“Thank you for submitting your Diversity Visa documents to the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC). After reviewing your documents, KCC has determined that you have not sent the required documents for review. Please review the required documents listed below and verify that you have submitted all required documents.”
As I guess my number won’t go current before late spring/early summer, I didn’t expect any emails after just a week. I’m wondering whether this is their routine or not.
Hopefully the backlog is being fixed. Or am I too optimistic?
Thank you for your time and attention
February 12, 2020 at 01:04
Others have received this same email today. What it means for the backlog – we can’t be sure yet.

Hi Brit,
Thanks for the great work. very informative stuff..
I am a winner from the AS region. I am just wondering if you have an idea of what was the highest case # in the AS region that received an email from KCC confirming that documents are successfully received/complete and are ready to be scheduled for an interview.
February 12, 2020 at 18:14
I don’t know.

hello simon i submitted my documents to kcc on january 18 and he replied to me yesterday saying that i had not submitted all the documents required. i got married on july 20, 2019 and my wife already had a child which is not mine while filling in my ds I declared my wife’s child as mine and she also declared her daughter in her ds 260 but I did not submit the daughter’s ds to my woman she does not travel with us but she will join us later in the usa by submitting our documents to the kcc documents I did not submit that of the daughter to my wife since will not travel with us. my questions are as follows:
1- is it possible that kcc asks me for my beautiful daughter’s documents there ?? I scanned my documents with my mobile phone
2- is it possible that he sends me this email because my documents are not readable ??
3- should I send my documents back to kcc again by scanning my documents correctly this time the kcc sent me an email to submit my documents since 10/21/2019 after submitting my ds260 i directly sent my documents did you think that is why he asked me to submit my documents again?
“Thank you for submitting your Diversity Visa documents to the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC). After reviewing your documents, KCC has determined that you have not sent the required documents for review.
You will only be scheduled for interview at an overseas consular post after you have submitted all documents required for your case and your visa rank number has become current”

Hi Brit,
Thank you for your advice regarding the problem that I had the last week. You helped me a lot! I followed your advice and reopen DS260. (On 5th of Feb KCC sent me the email confirmation for my documents. After that I discover that my family has changed one letter in our surname on 2004, I spoke on phone with KCC and explain my situation were I have to reopen my Ds260 but the question was if I should resend any other documents again to them) they advice me to reopen DS260 and declare the previous surmane that my family used on 2004 but they told me that I should not send any other document to them because I had submitted once and they are ok according to them. On 10th of Feb I adjusted and reopen ds260 but yesterday came the same email that was sent to many people (as I read on your page). “DV Required Civil Documents”
Do you think I should contact again KCC or send again all the documents even thay did not specify which of the document they are requiring.
Thank you so much,
Best regards

Thank you for your Kindly help, my case number is 48xxx and I didn’t get any information after I sent DS260, what is your advice?
Thank you
February 12, 2020 at 20:55
1st advice. Giving your case number range without the year/region is a waste of time.

Hi Simon, Is there any way to go back and check what details were submitted in the E-DV entry form?
(I have been selected for further processing, but I don’t remember if I declared my child or not; he was born but his birth was not officially registered since my (now) husband and I were not legally married then. I have tried to ask through email but I am still uncertain, the reply is as follows:
our records indicate that your spouse and child are added as derivatives into your diversity visa application)
February 12, 2020 at 20:57
The reply means your spouse and A child are on your DS260. Assuming you did not add the child on the DS260 – that means the child was included from the beginning.
February 14, 2020 at 05:02
I had to add my husband and child on my DS 260 (i.e. I had to create separate DS 260s for my husband and child as only my name appeared when I logged into the CEAC); then that means both were not included earlier? That means my visa will be rejected? even if my child’s birth was not registered? (he was born in a hospital but we couldn’t register his birth officially as my husband and I would have to get legally married first; we need a marriage certificate to officially register a child)
Although I have read your blog titled, “Easiest way to get disqualified from DV lottery”, since your reply might save us a lot of time and money, I would like to confirm once again, my visa will be rejected even if my child was not officially registered as a citizen anywhere? hence it would be better to not proceed further?
P.S. My family will have to go to another country for the interview, hence it is crucial for us to get some confirmation from someone before we proceed further or leave the DV application at this stage (we have almost everything ready).
February 14, 2020 at 05:41
It is 100% certain that rejection is the outcome if the original entry does not include any qualified derivative. No excuse matters.
And yes, if you had to add the derivatives, that means they were not on the entry. Registration of the child is not the point at all.

Thank you for your valuable and prompt reply, Simon. Highly appreciate it. Wish you the best!!!

The second gave me all the docs you listed and is updated.
February 12, 2020 at 20:59
Either would be OK.
February 12, 2020 at 11:01
Dear Simon,
I have another question,do you know how I can fill form DS5533 supplementary form for adminstrative process?they mentioned that I don’t have to scan the from so I have to fill it online and there is 60 minutes burden?
February 12, 2020 at 21:00
If your DS260 has the new questions already answered (such as the social media questions) then you will not need to complete that DS5535.
February 12, 2020 at 11:09
hi,
Simon yesterday I received an email from KCC that I havent sent the required documents and I heard this the same email got hundreds of people who won GC 2020. The email doesnt have the case number and the full name as KCC is used to send previous emails. It also doesnt say what documents are missing or what is wrong with them. And as usually it is not sent KCC->me but KCC-to-KCC then to me. This is the email I got:
““Thank you for submitting your Diversity Visa documents to the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC). After reviewing your documents, KCC has determined that you have not sent the required documents for review. Please review the required documents listed below and verify that you have submitted all required documents…”
What should I do , what do you think guys?
I have send these documents for me and my wife
1. Birth Certificates
2. Marriage Certificate (one, as it describes that we are married, and its the same for both)
3. Police certificates
4. Court certificates
5. Biometric page of the passports
Translations to english from certified translator, in all documents pages it indicates that he is certified by court to translate to english.
We havent served any military, thus we sent no certificate.

When we can see a post from you such this one?
Africa may have a cutoff, probably above 50,000. There is a small chance that Africa could go current – but that would rely on efficiency from KCC and a disregard for No shows. They did not do that last year – instead they chose to underfill the region. So – I suspect they will do the same in DV2016. We could set the risky range as anything about 47000. Below that number should be safe, above that number has to “wait and see”. Hopefully we will be able to see a number well into the 50’s.

I post when I have something to say.
February 12, 2020 at 15:51
What if edv winners spouse gets pregnant before interview??
February 12, 2020 at 21:01
That is not illegal. No problem.
February 12, 2020 at 16:37
Hello Brit.
Pls do you know the number of principal applicants that submitted applications for DV 2021?. I was not able to register because of the new passport number requirement law.
I have now applied for passport and I want to see my chance of being selected for DV2022 based on last year’s entries
February 12, 2020 at 21:35
No, that information is not yet published.
February 12, 2020 at 18:36
Hi Simon, we had our interview today in Bucharest. Our visas (family of 3) have been approved by the CO. I would like to thank you for all our heart for your precious work and for your advises given. As soon as I have some more time I will share our experience in the dedicated section. A big thanks again.
