Hi Britsimon thank you for update and support please can I fill DS260 form
May 9, 2024 at 00:16
Am I supposed to read your mind about your situation?
May 8, 2024 at 14:23
Hey Simon, I am a DV 2024 winner from Tanzania Case# 61K and I am currently on F1 visa in Dallas Texas.
I reassigned my interview to Doha Embassy. I didn’t want to do adjustment of status because I had a wife and kids living in Tanzania and I wanted all of us to do Consular processing at the same time.
I heard somewhere that I can order police clearances from all countries I lived just by using the Interpol in USA to send my biometrics to those specific countries.
Do you have any knowledge about this procedure of ordering police clearances from other countries basing in USA? So far I have not located any Interpol offices in Texas, The only one I see is in Washington DC?
I lived in a couple countries and I might not have enough time and resources to visit each one of them physically to process the police clearances.
Thank you

You have to read the instructions and the reciprocity page. You will get full instructions there for each country.

Hi simon,
I am now filing the ds260 form after being selected for dv lottery. At the vaccination question, I want to answer no because I lack some vaccinations that are required by US law, but then it tells me to explain why. What should I write?
May 8, 2024 at 13:08
Hi Simon,
I am one of the lucky ones that got selected in this year’s DV-2025 lottery.
I am a German citizen, with a case number EU7XXX
I started to work on my DS-260 application and there is a question that worries me.
I have a total of 4 children, two of them being German citizens and the other two are dual citizens (US and German, because they were born in the USA).
I was told I would not have to include the two kids that already have US passports into the DV-2025 application, which is why I only put my German wife and the two German kids down when I applied for the lottery.
In the DS-260 form there is a question about the number of children I have and if they will immigrate with me or not.
I am unsure what to put there. If I put down 4 kids I am worried that the system will disqualify me and if I put down 2 kids I am worried about not stating the truth.
I was hoping to get some advice from you about this.
Thank you so much.
May 9, 2024 at 00:07
List the citizen kids. It’s fine.
May 8, 2024 at 12:39

May 8, 2024 at 10:49

May 9, 2024 at 00:01
You list your correct country in your address on the ds260.

Hi Simon, thanks so much for all the value you add. I’m AS16XXX. I’m gradually preparing my DS 260. As I do I have a couple of questions:
1. I qualify by both education and profession, but 10-8 years ago, my full time job was as a rep for a network marketing company. The company is an American company based out of America. Is it ok for me to list this? Unfortunately, there’s no way to explain that I worked as an independent rep in Singapore for those 2 years and never in America itself.
2. I am born and raised in Sri Lanka and renounced citizenship years ago when becoming Singaporean. Unfortunately, it is proving impossible for me to obtain evidence of my vaccinations received as a child (Sri Lanka doesn’t have the best record keeping systems). In the question in the DS 260 about this, I have answered truthfully and provided the above explanation. Will this be problematic and am I likely to have to retake all these vaccines? My wife and 2 kids have clear vaccination records here in Singapore.
3. The question about social security number is strange for me. I am quite concerned about my data, and don’t mind not having an SSN. Is it a bad thing for me to say I don’t need an SSN and no to the sharing of my data? What are the implications?
4. How do I join the telegram community?
May 8, 2024 at 23:58
1. Honesty is the only choice.
2. The doctor will use some common sense.
3. Relax. It’s ok.

Hello Brit,
I heard that there is 221g that can happen without any mistake done by applicant, this can happen randomly ( random checking ), if this happen; how much time they will take to check? (does it takes time as missing papers or something else for a reason?) , is it gonna take too much time? like I’m afraid if this happens to me; the year will end without issuing the visa
May 8, 2024 at 23:54
The time varies. Prepare as well as you can.
May 8, 2024 at 09:31
Hi Simon, I just got my 2nl and I have question, since filling ds260, I changed my work and my home, should I inform them in day of interview that my home address has changed and also my work?
May 8, 2024 at 23:53
Yes
May 8, 2024 at 09:26
I have a question for my case, the case number is EU205xx (Russia) which shows in bulletin as current status today (July). However, I’ve unlocked my ds260 2 days ago and I re-submit my DS260 last night (less than 6 hrs before my status become current) Will it cause any issue for my interview (I have interview in BNK (Bangkok is not busy embassy as i understand)
Thank you for your information. Very helpful.
May 8, 2024 at 23:53
You have to wait and see.
May 8, 2024 at 06:20
hi Simon,
when we could expect the 2nl will be sent to us as our number just become current, my embassy is performing very well as it reach the highest number of last VB, so when and is there something or website we can see if 2nl has been sent to our embassy and how much?
May 8, 2024 at 23:48
Patience.
May 8, 2024 at 05:19
Hi Simon!
Would I need a police clearance certificate for a country that I stayed there for 5 months and 20 days?
May 8, 2024 at 23:43
No. Read the rules.
May 8, 2024 at 04:31
Hi Simon, I follow the updated graphs of your survey. Even if the answers are few for now, I notice some things regarding Europe. Aside from the answer in the 64-65 range, which may be incorrect, I already see two answers in the 54-55K range. I also see that there are many more cases above 25K. I know there are many variables and it is early to make any predictions, but I am already having doubts from this data:
1) if Europe will have case numbers higher than 55-65K it could be an advantage or a disadvantage for those in a relatively high range like 35K?
2) Could the fact that in the first 25K cases there are fewer people mean that there are many holes in that range? if so is this a possible advantage for higher numbers?
May 8, 2024 at 23:37
1. It would, but I doubt those reports are accurate.
2. This is only in the survey, the reality will be more real cases in early ranges. I am certain.
May 8, 2024 at 03:33
Hi Simon, my case number is 2024EU30205.
When I completed my DS260 in May2023 for the question ‘Have you visited the U.S.’ before i answered ‘No’ since I hadn’t visited but after one month I traveled in the U.S. for three weeks.
– should i change my DS260 and answer ‘Yes’ now? What is the procedure, I should email KCC so they can unlock my form, change it and inform them of the change?
– currently I have a B1/B2 visa, if i’m successful and obtain a Green Card should I then do an Adjustment Of Status or it’s not required for this kind of visa?
Thank you,
May 8, 2024 at 23:36
1. No need to change.
2. No
May 8, 2024 at 03:06
Hi Simon!
Is AP/221G handled by the particular embassy or is it done outside by different departments within the USA itself.
If it is done by an embassy, is it safe to assume that the more efficient embassies as we’ve seen would also process AP/221G more quickly?
Thanks!
May 8, 2024 at 23:34
It varies.
May 8, 2024 at 03:00
Hi simon, thank you very much for the help. You helped when i knew nothing about this program. i won DV 2016 and came to the states the same year. I will never forget those tough times you helped me. Thanks again, my niece won this year her case is 50— Africa. Is her case considered too high or she have a chance for interview?
May 8, 2024 at 23:34
Good chance for her.
May 8, 2024 at 01:36
Good day! If we will receive an interview date to the last month of the dv2024, which is on the September, is there no need to worry about that the availability of the visas will be filled or something? The case number of mine is EU2024 36xxx. Thanks!
May 8, 2024 at 23:33
The visa is only certain when it is in your hand.
May 8, 2024 at 01:11
Hi Mr. Brit,
I need a little help with an issue I’m facing. My wife is the main winner, she’s Sudanese, and I’m Egyptian. I have a second nationality as Sudanese, but I have been using the Egyptian passport. I have added all these details in DS, but the Sudanese passport is expired, and it’s very hard to renew it with the situation in Sudan. I am registered in DS as Egyptian, and my second nationality is Sudanese. Is it okay if I go to the interview with the expired passport for my second nationality? For the police report, I didn’t spend any time in Sudan for more than 6 months, only 1 month visit over the years. I lived and worked in Egypt and the UAE. Kindly advise. Thanks.
May 8, 2024 at 23:29
You need an unexpired passport.
May 8, 2024 at 00:09
Hi Brit,
Greetings from Ethiopia
I have low case number 2025000004XX
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. If I fill DS 260 successfully, then what is the next process? Shall I scan and send my documents, Or what should I do
Thanks
May 8, 2024 at 23:27
Complete the ds260, then wait. No documents to be sent.
May 7, 2024 at 22:51
Hi simon, i have 2 questions.
On my dv lottery submission i answered ‘no’ i have never been a national of a country other than my birth country. However i misunderstood this question and i do have 2 passports for 2 countries.
Can this mistake be corrected on the ds 260 ?
also how many addresses can i upload on the ds260 ? i have moved many times and i am finding the ds260 times out when adding so many addresses.
thank you.
May 8, 2024 at 23:20
Yes correct it in the ds260.
Just list main addresses.
May 7, 2024 at 20:02
Hi Simon, execuse the very specefic question i am about to ask
if one wins the dv lottery i read that they enter the us and get a sticker in thier passport that they are permentant legal residents , basically the sticker acts like a green card (but only for 1 year)
I am in med school planning to go to the us after gradutaion, and will apply for dv lottery for the 5 years i have left.
if i win can i enter the us the first time and then soon leave to continue my med school
i plan on getting in and out but staying outside the us for less than 1 year at a time and maybe get a temporary mail address to send the green card to
does this make sense? can i do it or is there something not allowed about it?
i do plan to eventually live in the us but for the first few years i will only be going to maintain residency status
May 8, 2024 at 23:17
Yes you could do that for a while. Win first.
May 7, 2024 at 19:41
Sir while we apply for first time in DV lottery that time I indicated married but actually MC certificate was not made at that time and later MC certificate is made as it is needed to fill ds260 form so is there any problem about this situation sir?
May 8, 2024 at 23:15
If you claimed to be married, but that was no true, that can cause denial. Not always, but it is a risk.
May 7, 2024 at 19:18
Hello Simon, thank you so much for helping us.
My wife won the lottery, and her initial consulate is in Turkey. However, we are moving to the UK in two months and we will get valid residence permits, so we are going to choose the London UK consulate when we submit our DS260 document in advance. Do you think this is OK? Of course, we will put our current Turkish address, which we will need to change when we move to the UK. Do we need to send an email afterwards?
And my second question is my resident permit (BRP) in the uk will be unvalid after the new year. Our case number is 20k so most probably we will get our appointment in 2025. What would it happen during the interview if i cannot prolong my resident permit till that time? my wife will have a valid one though.
Thank you so much!
May 8, 2024 at 23:10
1. Its ok. Change the address asap.
2. I don’t know
May 7, 2024 at 19:17
good evening my question is to know if the kcc publishes ke VB of one month the numbers which are in this visa bulletin will all receive their 2NL for example for the month of May
May 8, 2024 at 23:08
Not all, no. Some will be at backlogged embassies.
May 7, 2024 at 18:29
do you think there is a chance for current in EU for July?
May 8, 2024 at 23:03
No
May 7, 2024 at 18:23
Hey Mr Simon,
My question is when entering the dv forms, I choose unmarried but I was divorced at that time, so how can I fix it in the DS260, and my other question is i am from ghana with the case number 18xxx, is it advisable to do my interview somewhere else? Thank You.
May 8, 2024 at 23:03
Simply complete the ds260 with the correct info.
Yes you would be safer in another country.
May 7, 2024 at 17:33
Hey Brit, hope you are well. So my number is AS-13130 at Frankfurt and my DS-260 is processed. Do you think I now have nothing to worry about since the bulletin is at 13k? Because I was thinking maybe the numbers don’t increase anymore till the finish of DV2024.
Thanks!
May 7, 2024 at 18:08
I don’t know why you thought the numbers wouldn’t increase….
May 7, 2024 at 22:50
I was thinking that since they made a big jump this time, maybe the numbers would stay the same, but I guess that won’t be the case. So then, I think I should be pretty safe then?
May 7, 2024 at 15:39
Hello Simon, I wonder how many visas are given to the Moroccan country? My case is 61K DV24 do you think it will go current next VB? There still enough visas for higher case numbers? Thanks.
May 7, 2024 at 16:27
No country has a number of visas pre-allocated to it, but there is a cap that no country can receive more than 7% (3850). As for the next 2 VBs – wait and see.
May 7, 2024 at 15:26
Hi Simon, thanks for all you help! I have a question.
When I submitted for the DV lottery I used a photo that was 1 year old and is also my New Zealand passport photo so very obviously more than 6 months old. I have a second current passport for the UK which is not my country of chargeability.
1. Would it be strange to try and use the UK passport in my DS-260?
2. Do you know if using a photo older than 6 months will get my application denied if they see my NZ passport and know it is an older photo?
May 7, 2024 at 16:29
1. No need to create drama in your own mind. Use whichever passport.
2. The CO isn’t going to be that concerned with trying to prove your photo is the same as the passport photo. Relax.
May 7, 2024 at 14:19
Hi Brit, can pregnancy results to denier of immigrant visa( DV-lottery) if the pregnancy is just a month long?
May 7, 2024 at 14:44
No
May 7, 2024 at 14:05
Hello, I made a mistake when completing the ds 260 form, I only put WhatsApp as my social media, I have an Instagram and YouTube account that I only use to watch videos or search some info. I don’t follow anyone or comment/post is that a big mistake?
May 7, 2024 at 14:42
No. No need to worry.
May 7, 2024 at 13:59
Hi Brit
the Vb for July has just cameout , my number is As150xx, how do you see the level of risk by now according the leap in this VB?
best
Basem
May 7, 2024 at 14:32
I have always said I expect AS to reach 17k minimum.
May 7, 2024 at 14:45
Thanks Brit
indeed , you are the expert
May 7, 2024 at 13:58
Hello Brit, the visa bulletin has come out for June 2024.
May 7, 2024 at 12:44
Hi there! I have been selected but on application for DV i had my BSc degree and now i have Spec Sci.. what should i put in DS-260?
Thank you !
May 7, 2024 at 13:28
The truth.
May 7, 2024 at 10:13
Hello, mr. Simon, When the visa bulletin will be published, and do you think that there will be a big jump based on interview scheduling and so forth?
May 7, 2024 at 11:45
We will see.
May 7, 2024 at 09:12
Hi Simon,
Bit of a curly one that I’d love you opinion on…
Oceania case 6xx here. I currently reside in NYC on an E3 (non-immigrant visa) so lodging my DS260 would prohibit me from travelling in and out of North America as it demonstrates immigrant intent (which violates my current visa).
I have trips to Europe coming up for both work and pleasure until late September. Therefore, my current plan is to delay submitting my DS260 until then, after which time I will fly to Australia in November (it was already my plan to return there for 4 months) and intend on staying there until the process is complete via CP. I presume this should be okay as my case number wouldn’t be ready to interview until Jan at earliest.
Do you see any issues in me delaying the submission of my DS260 until then? Or have a better suggestion?
Many, many thanks in advance.
May 7, 2024 at 11:42
First you misunderstand the effect of the DS260. It is not a problem for your existing NIV, it does not violate your visa. It would be a concern for a FUTURE NIV application, not the one you are already using. Since you plan to be in Australia anyway you should submit your DS260 soon to ensure it is processed before your case number goes current (probably in December/January ish) so you can do the CP. Otherwise you could find you will be delayed being current, but not having the DS260 processed due to the big backlog of DS260s which is starting to build as we speak.
May 8, 2024 at 09:09
Okay great. Thank you Simon, huge help! Appreciate you very much.
May 7, 2024 at 08:51
Hi Brit, What is your thoughts on CN 2024AS177XX. Chances above or less than 50%. Thank you!!
May 7, 2024 at 08:59
Wait and see.
May 7, 2024 at 08:48
Mr Simon
I was refused today for B1/B2 with no explanation with 214b , it was for an exam and my deadline is September to attend and it means everything in my life for now, it was third country interview at Lebanon and I’m from Iraq and only emergency appointment is out there, while I’m waiting for my case 2024 AS 169XX.
Disappointed.
May 7, 2024 at 08:58
214b is a refusal for a non immigrant visa when the officer believes you have immigrant intent. He probably was suspicious since you have filed an application for an immigrant visa.
Think.
May 7, 2024 at 13:45
When should I reapply plz? I’m badly in need to attend my exam Mr Simon, need assistance plz.
Will you say it is better to reapply at Iraq as emergency again for my exam as job application starts this september without that exam I won’t be given chance for H1B visa and only J1 might be given, they want me to have US clinical experience prior application and now I’m pressed due to visa issues.
Confused😕
May 7, 2024 at 13:50
It’s been mentioned you don’t have strong ties to home country, while I’m a general practitioner and self sponsoring my travel, they did not let me show the documents as I did not make specific travel plan other than intended date of arrival and stay period of 2 WKs on DS-160 when submitted it , but after this I had my documents and travel plan one a paper and he did not let me explain my situation then all of a sudden refused me, that is unfair😕
May 7, 2024 at 14:31
I only advise on DV. I don’t have any suggestions about other visas.
May 7, 2024 at 16:02
Great, the July bulletin just came out and gave me hope for my AS169XX.
Does this refusal affects my DV as I did not have refusal last year when filled up the DS-260 form, but now do I need to unlock to update I have refusal today or no impact to not touching it?
May 7, 2024 at 16:26
No need to update.
May 7, 2024 at 17:51
Hey Mr Simon,
My question is when entering the dv, I said I was on unmarried instead of divorced, how can I go about that when filling the DS260, so I still say unmarried or say divorced?
May 7, 2024 at 18:09
You must tell the truth. State divorced and hope the CO is lenient about the mistake. Since no other person was missed or added on the entry, unmarried and divorced are essentially the same – so the CO could, and usually would, approve it.
May 8, 2024 at 12:41
Mr Simon
After my refusal at beirut of B1/B2, if I want to reapply on emergency basis at Iraq as some my friends accepted same exam as mine was the reason, then if was refused again does that affect the health of my 2024AS199XX interview incase was current?
Plz I need your input❤️
May 9, 2024 at 00:03
It depends on the reason for the refusal.
May 8, 2024 at 13:26
Sorry mine is 2024AS169XX
May 7, 2024 at 07:34
Hi Simon,
Thanks again for all the effort you do to keep us informed. As the winner of EU2025 I follow your blog and YouTube channel with great interest. I understood the mechanism of derivatives and holes, but two things are not clear to me:
– in Europe there are many people (I know some) who participate in the Green Card almost as a joke. It happens that some winners say “but I live well in Europe…” and give up. I don’t understand if these dropouts increase the chances of other Europeans winners who fill out the DS260 and wait their round or if the freed up places benefit everyone.
– Let’s imagine that a person with a fairly low case number does not fill out the DS260. During his round he will clearly not be called for the interview. If he fills out the DS260 later, will he be eligible for the next round involving higher case numbers, or is he out?
– Around July will we only know the number of selectees per region or also the number of visas assigned to each region?
Thanks a lot.
May 7, 2024 at 08:45
1. Yes, that happens every year (in every region). That is one of the reasons they over select, so that is already “built in” to the process.
2. He would still have a chance to process, and his low number would still give an advantage.
3. We will know the selectee numbers for each country and therefore each region. The visas available to each region is a formula, so we already know that (about 20k for EU), BUT there is some flexibility in the ratios between the regions, because unused quota from one region (usually AF) can be distributed to the other regions, again by formula. BUT don’t overthink the quota thing. You will not be able to calculate precise cutoffs, there will always be a “wait and see” element.
May 7, 2024 at 01:13
Hi Simon.
I’m a 2024 winner, and i attended the interview recently. It went okay, but the CO seemed to really doubt my marital status, which i think is why i was given a 221g refusal.
I am unmarried but i have 2 children with my partner, one born in 2019 and the other born in 2023. I’m from Zimbabwe, but living in South Africa with my South African partner and the children. I attended the interview, and took both kids’ birth certificates as required in the instructions. I had not done the medical at the time of the interview. I was given a pink paper that requested i do the medical, submit passport and also send through documentation to prove i’m not married, as i entered the draw as single. I told the CO i can get a Letter of no impediment( Letter of single-status) from my home country stating i’m not married, and have never been married. He said to me i must submit documents from the South African government because i’m living in South Africa. However, South Africa only issues a Letter of no Impediment for South African citizens only.(I’m not sure if CO was aware of that fact)
I’m now in possession of the Letter of no Impediment from my home country, but i’m wondering if that will be deemed as sufficient if i submit only that to the embassy. My partner has also applied for her Letter of no Impediment from the South African government, but that will take about 3-6 weeks to obtain. Do you think its better to wait for her Letter as well, despite the delay, or will mine only suffice?
We’re also planning to get married soon, but the unabridged marriage certificate ( The one required for emigration purposes) will also about 4-6 weeks to process. We’ll get a normal marriage certificate immediately, but that does not contain the comprehensive information like the abridged certificate. Do you think if we get married now and i submit the normal abridged marriage certificate i will be refused as they require the unabridged certificate??
I know created this mess and if we planned to get married we should probably have done so earlier, but we were never really sure about the move with young kids and we probably left it too late, but this is the situation at the moment.
Thank you for your assistance.
May 7, 2024 at 08:30
Yes you screwed up. So frustrating to read.
So send a cover letter explanation with the no impediment letter than you have explaining that you cannot obtain the SA one, and are providing the one you could obtain. Hopefully they will then accept that.
Then get off you ass and marry your partner and maybe you could add her to the case before you move – you can mention that to the embassy as being your plan. You write well – so explain that and see if they will help.
May 7, 2024 at 12:02
Thank you so much Sir. I will submit the document i have now and proceed with the wedding ASAP.
FYI at the interview the CO did ask me if i understood that if i get married to my partner i might be able to add her to my case, but i have only until September 30th to do all that.
Thank you so much for all your help and fingers crossed everything goes well.

Glad the CO mentioned that. Their willingness to help is important.

Hi Simon
In your experience, does a VB published say the 7th of the month vs the 15th of the month makes a difference in terms of the scheduling capacity and the chances of having a good scheduling month (since it’s almost a 10 day difference) ? Or does KCC start working on scheduling around the same time anyway (ie knows the next VB numbers before we do) ?
Thank you
May 7, 2024 at 08:18
I doubt it makes any difference. The VB does not JUST concern DV, and it is not controlled by KCC. So the timing of the release has nothing to do with DV or KCC scheduling.

Dear Simon,
I am writing to seek your assistance regarding a matter that has recently come up. My wife participated in the Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery for the year 2025, and to our surprise, she has been selected as a winner. However, there seems to be an issue related to my status.
As you may know, I am currently an asylum seeker in the United States. Unfortunately, my wife mistakenly indicated on the DV Lottery application that I am a “lawfully resident.” She was unaware of the exact meaning of this term, and now we are concerned about the implications of this mistake.
Could you kindly explain what can we do and how we can resolve it. We want to ensure that we handle this situation correctly and avoid any complications.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. We greatly appreciate your guidance.
Best regards,

Do you mean she did not include you in the original entry?
May 7, 2024 at 16:56
Yes
May 7, 2024 at 17:00
She just mentioned she’s married. She accidentally picked the wrong option.
May 7, 2024 at 17:26
If she did not include you in the entry then she will be disqualified. That is 100% certain.

Hey Simon!
So once you are scheduled for an interview, there is not possibility it gets stuck in the Ready state if you are willing to have it and do everything perfectly on your end? I mean, in a hypothetical case in which you are scheduled for September, you’ll have it if you don’t fail?
Sorry for bothering you, but I want to foresee possible cases. I really appreciate your huge labor.

Hi Simon, I am processing through AOS DV 2025 as I am in F1 visa. Asian region Nepal country case no 3XXX . When should I fill DS 260 and also my passport is expiring in this dec. What would you suggest?
May 6, 2024 at 22:47
1. You don’t need to file a DS260 yet as it is optional in the AOS process.
2. Renew your passport.
May 7, 2024 at 01:02
Is my case number considered high or low? Can I still fill out the DS 260 form or not? Or should I renew my passport and do the process? I am confused about how to process my case. I would really appreciate your help.
May 7, 2024 at 08:25
1. Your case number is quite low.
2. You said you are processing AOS, and in that method you don’t need to rush to submit a DS260 since it is optional. I already said that – so you need to pay attention.
3. I also already said to renew your passport.
There is more info on DV related AOS at the link below. BUT I insist that you READ the information that is linked from the first post in this thread rather than asking questions in that thread with things that are already explained. If you read first you will understand.

Dear Simon:
First of all I would like to thank you for all your help, as of now I have four questions
– if I have the means to support me financially (House, Wife and children): 40K – 50K. Is recommended to file an I-134 form just in case
-I have a low/mid number 2025SA17XX, my passport will expire on April 2025. Do you recommend to get a new one right now and then submit the DS260?
– in relation to this question of DS260 (Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law?). My wife and I were vaccinated on US (2021) with two doses of Pfizer against Covid. Should we answer yes or no on this question?
– lastly, DS260 asks if the couple have been divorcerd previously. On my country there is an alternative to marriages that is called (union de hecho-de facto union); in 2017 y dissolved this union, do you think this counts as a divorce? In my country law in not divorced.
Thanks in advance
May 6, 2024 at 22:46
1. Precautions are up to you.
2. No – submit now and then you can take the new one to the interview.
3. Answer no. The question is about all vaccinations, and you won’t have the US level documentation.
4. You know the laws of your country better than I do (especially since you haven’t given me the country).

you know if the kcc has started sending the 2NL for the May visa bulletin especially for those who have to do the interview in Dakar
May 6, 2024 at 22:41
As I have already answered you, no interviews will be sent until AFTER the VB is published.
May 7, 2024 at 08:32
the visa bulletin for May has been published since March my question is to know if the kcc has started sending the 2NL for this VB.

Hi Simon, Australian here with Oceania case no. 6XX for DV2025. My questions relate to my current address for the DS260, and my interview location.
I applied for DV2025 while living in London and my selectee letter states my Post as ‘LONDON’. I lived in London for 15 years until Feb 2024, when I left to travel for several months in Central and South America (where I am now). My belongings, employer, bank accounts, recent medical history etc all remain in the UK – all now linked to my Aunt’s address. I am unsure whether I will return to reside in the UK.
At the time my interview is likely to be scheduled, e.g. early 2024, I plan to be in Australia staying with family for some months.
– Is the interview location determined by the current address I list on my DS260?
– Can you comment on the merits of me listing my mother’s address in Australia versus my Aunt’s address in the UK as my current address? Similarly, any merit to me attending an interview in London versus Sydney in this case?
– Can you foresee any issues?
I wish to be 100% honest – just in a unique situation where I am between addresses due to long term travel.
Thanks for your help Simon and all you do.
May 6, 2024 at 20:48
1. Yes
2. Sydney would be fine. Use that address.
3. No
May 6, 2024 at 21:48
Thanks so much Simon. Any advice on how to answer the question on the DS260 of when I began living at that Australian address (Mum’s address)? I may not get to Australia after my travels until Nov/Dec 2024.
May 6, 2024 at 22:42
Because you are “travelling, you have justification to claim that Aus address is your place of home address even now. Because you are travelling….
