Probably more than other years, I think it is important we get a better, more precise idea of case number ranges. Through my blog and my video channel, my readership is probably the most used site for information, so, while there are some country specific forums that have collected this sort of data, none have done it globally.
Please help yourselves and everyone else by taking a moment to complete this short survey form to collect case numbers. This data will be the best idea we have until we get the complete picture in January from the CEAC data. January is months away – I think you all want to know the numbers earlier than that – right??
Here is the link to a form where you can give your region, country, case number range and email address. Feel free to distribute the link – let’s get as many responses as possible!

Hi brit, thanks for the good work but please I wish to get clarifications on something that borders me. The overall dv 2021 winners stands out at 134402 globally. I am from Africa with case number af57***.I wish to know if this my number is 57*** out of the 134402 globally or its juse for the African region? And if so, is it a high case number or medium or low. Brits thanks for your responds

Thank You
August 28, 2020 at 00:37
We have to wait and see.
August 27, 2020 at 16:37
Dear Simon,
My case number is 2021AF74XXX and my country of chargebility is South Africa. Using the data for South Africa(510) what can you say about my case number.? Thank you in advance sir.
Murali.
August 27, 2020 at 22:04
It has nothing to do with South Africa. Your case number is within the whole region. Your case number is high, so there is risk, but it is too soon to be sure.
August 25, 2020 at 23:24
Hi sir I may want to ask. what about those whom there parent have file for are they all included in the band?
August 25, 2020 at 23:49

August 25, 2020 at 21:03
Dear Brit,
Is that true that the decision on the Aug 27 hearing will be published a couple of days after Aug 27? I mean we are getting really crazy. Is it too optimistic we will get an answer on Aug 27?
August 25, 2020 at 23:44
It might take some days, yes. We have to wait and see.
August 25, 2020 at 12:16

Good morning Sir ,
i want to share with you this small data maybe we can take an idea about this year ,
dv 2014 over selected 140660 in addition no ban on Muslim countries no pandemic everything was normal , i will take ASIA as an example
ASIA =23270 number of cases = 13xxx holes = 14xxx cases
iran =6027 nepal =6082 highest case number = 27xxx cuttoff = 13500
dv2021 over selected 132404 suppose everything is normal as dv 2014 in situation ,
ASIA as an example
Asia = 25408 number of cases = 14436 holes = 21xxx cases
iran = 6001 nipal = 3801 highest case number = 36xxx cuttoff (13xxx to 15xxx)
in 2014 nipal and iran got the 7% so it was the worst situation for other countries taking in consideration the positions of the cases of these two countries in the queue.
1- could we match 2014 to 2021 to a certain extent if everything will be lifted that’s mean the worst scenario for the high case numbers for dv 2021?
Sorry for disturbing you, i dont want to intervene in your perfect work just a small analysis i did to share with you ,
thank you very much
August 25, 2020 at 04:36
1. No – there are many differences between now and 2014.

Dear Brit, I am reading some news about the litigation. I’ve read that Judge Mehta ordered the defendants to provide redacted portions. I have no idea what it is. Can you please give updates about the litigation? What’s happening? Are these developments in our favor?
Let’s hope for kind results. My prayers for each and every DV2020 case winners, let’s hope for the best ♥
